Part 19

Khushi opened her eyes from the flash back. She couldn't forget Ratna and her Chotte because she likes Ratna so much and she believes Ratna will come one day and do whatever she said.

{Ratna and Garima were friends. Garima got married to Shashi and they migrated to the village after marriage.

When Khushi grown up, Shashi realized her interest in studies which made Shashi return back to Lucknow because he didn't want his daughter's education get ruined. Garima didn't try to meet Ratna because of their status difference. But fate made them met in Temple.

Ratna liked Khushi very much as she was so qualified than her age. It attracted Ratna so much. She kept on saying that to Garima too. Within few months Arvind decided to establish his business in Delhi. So they were ready to shift to Delhi. Before leaving from Lucknow, Ratna wanted to put up her heart in front of Garima. Accordingly she did that. That is an incident which was rooted in Kushi's mind and growing into a big tree. But before Ratna revealed her desire to her Chotte, she left the world.

Khushi believes that everything happens with REASON. She was correct. But interesting thing is, she doesn't know "the ploy" has already begun. Whatever happens around her is to get her close to the man whom she is waiting for.

As Ratna said, Arnav sensed something in his heart when he met Khushi. He felt a strong connection between her and his mother. And that connection made him so stubborn in his stand. So did Khushi. Poor girl is searching a man who is in front of her eyes. Let's see the game, how destiny is going to connect them}

Next day morning when Arnav came to breakfast he saw Khushi was lost in her thought. She slipped her balance and bumped with him. Arnav looked at her and sensed seeing her face that she would have cried. She left the place hurriedly leaving Arnav all guilty.

Arnav was pacing at pool side totally restless. She couldn't be with her mother in the critical situation just because of him. Khushi's puffed up eyes were not let him to be in peace. But what could he do? He sat on the chair closing his eyes. He opened his eyes as he got something in his mind. What if it will back fire? He gulped.

He dialed Aman's number and told him his decision. Aman was stunned. He was totally opposite to Arnav this time. But Arnav was not ready to hear his words. Finally he ordered Aman to do what he said.

Arnav came to Khushi's room and knocked the door which was already open. Khushi saw him and came out.

Arnav: Pack your stuffs.

Khushi looked at him mystified.

Arnav: You are going to Lucknow for one week.

Khushi(shocked): Whaaat???

Arnav: I'm giving you one week to spend with your mother.

Khushi couldn't believe that it was happening in real. She was staring at him with disbelief.

Arnav: you have to board at your flight in two hours. Go.

Khushi: but ...

Arnav: you have no time to converse with me. We can talk on the way to Airport. Make it fast.

He left the place to get ready to drop her in the Airport. Khushi was not sure about what was happening. What happened to him suddenly? Is he really sending her? But why? She didn't pack anything as she has enough clothes at her home also. She got changed and came out with her simple hand bag which she bought in Sarojini Market.

Arnav who came downstairs saw Khushi who was looking puzzled. His expression was stern. Khushi was so curious. She wanted to know actually what's cooking in his mind.

Arnav: where is your bag?

Khushi: I didn't take anything as I have enough stuff at Lucknow. Arnav and he nodded his head and gestured her to come. She followed him silently. He handed a cover to her. She opened it while Arnav started the car.

Arnav: it's your tickets.

Khushi took out her tickets. She looked at him. There was a return ticket too reserved for the next week.

Arnav: Don't reveal my name to anyone. Paramveer had known your boss name as Malik only. Keep it in your mind.

Khushi: But why are you sending me to Lucknow?

Arnav: your mother is ill. You would feel to be with her no matter how much the hospital staffs are taking care of her. So go and be with her.

Khushi was amazed. What kind of man he is? He is sending her to Lucknow to be with her mother? Actually what's in his mind? She looked at him with disbelief who was concentrating on the road.

After that none of them was talk. Arnav dropped her at the Airport. Arnav was looking at her with penetrating gaze. In that... she could feel fear, confusion and uncertainty.

Arnav: Take care. He gulped.

Khushi: Thank you. (pause) for everything.

Arnav nodded his head. She started walking inside. Arnav was standing there looking at her, expecting her to see him once.

She was about to go inside, she stopped and turned.

Though she didn't smile at him and went inside but Arnav felt, he got his breath back. A bright smirk crept on his face. He came out and started his car.

Something is surely cooking in his mind. Or else he would not have dared to send her to Lucknow. Actually what he wanted to prove? He was under pressure. He himself was the reason. Sole reason.

AR

Aman was waiting for him in his cabin. Arnav saw him glaring at him. He went to his seat as if he didn't do anything.

Aman: Have you sent her off?

Arnav nodded yes while turning on his pc.

Aman: Are you in sense Arnav?

Arnav(lifting his head): Any doubt?

Aman: What's the necessary to send her to Lucknow damn it?

Arnav: She wanted to see her mother.

Aman: What if ..

Arnav(cutting him while gritting his teeth): She will... she will come back.

Aman: You are scaring me Arnav. Don't do this to yourself. How can you expect a girl to come to where she does not want to be? What if she takes advantage of the situation as her mother's operation was already over?

Arnav(sternly): I told you, she will come.

Aman: ASR just relax and think with your cool mind. She is not in love with you. Then how can you say that she will come.

Arnav(calming down): That's what Khushi is. if she want to go then she would have done long ago.

Aman: I wish, your wish will come true. But...

Arnav(fisting his finger): Leave me alone Aman.

Arnav closed his eyes clenching his jaws. Aman was about to leave his cabin...

Arnav: Don't you dare give any instructions to her.

Aman stopped and looked fiercely. Now Aman was damn sure. What he thought was right. He has no idea where will it lead them. Is Arnav examining Khushi? What Arnav likes the most in Khushi is her honesty. He loves her, more than that he respects her. He doesn't want her to deceive him. The only thing which he can't tolerate is cheating.

Aman could feel fear in Arnav's eyes. He couldn't lose her. If she will not come, he will go to any extent to make her repent. He will show her hell on the earth. At the same time he will also burn in the fire of hell.
