I knew right away this quest was going to be a pain when they were sending us off at night. Pretty much all quests started in the morning so we had a good first day to get going. However since we didn't have much time, I guess I can understand why they sent us now.

My only issue is that we were all tired and wanted to sleep. We wouldn't get very far out there before we would need to sleep. And sleeping out there, helpless while we dream, is seriously dangerous.

Nonetheless, if the rest of them wanted to sleep while I kept watch, I wouldn't mind. I'm a night person anyways.

However once it became 8pm, the portal in the main gate formed, creating a large blue vortex.

Yuna: "Is everyone ready?"

Mia: "As ready as we'll ever be"

I thought it was complete bullshit that they were forcing Mia to go on this quest after she was so badly wounded. She had multiple bandages all over her body, however she put on a front that she was okay. Even I wasn't that heartless, I would've had her stay here.

However the one thing I definitely wasn't expecting was Lucy to come running at us as fast as a car. She ran a little too fast and ran straight into Mia, however Mia was strong enough to catch her.

Mia: "L-Lucy?! What are you doing here?"

Lucy hugged Mia tightly.

Lucy: "I'm so happy you're okay!!"

After a few seconds of hugging, they finally separated.

Lucy: "Dad changed his mind, I can go with you"

Immediately I was suspicious. Dad never changed his mind on things. Once he reached a decision, he was dead set on it. However his reasoning for having her stay couldn't have changed either.

Lucas: "Lucy, you can't go, you're not a—"

She held her hand out and a mini tornado formed in the palm of her hand. The wind that made up the tornado was red in color, the same color as chaos.

Yuna: "W-Woah!! Y-You really are a Demigod?!"

Lucy: "Yeah! Guess I was a late bloomer"

I looked over at Adrian and he seemed skeptical as well. Adrian was probably the smartest one here, so if anyone else saw this was weird, it would be him.

Adrian: "B-But you had no Demigod blood inside you before. Even the Gods told us that"

Lucy: "Maybe they were wrong"

Terran: "That definitely has happened in the past. Maybe they did miss it"

Adrian and I were on the same page, something wasn't adding up.

On the other hand, she was obviously controlling some form of chaos energy, which she definitely would inherit from Dad. I got Mom's genes, so maybe she got Dad's. Aunt Emiko and Dad's powers didn't even become known until they were our age. So maybe...

Lucas: "Well, if you're going to come with us, you better be ready for anything"

She nodded with her eyes filled with determination.

Lucy: "I'm ready!"

Yuna: "Alright then! Let's get going!!"

Right as I was about to walk into the portal, the hood of my hoodie was tugged on. I looked back and saw Lily floating behind me.

Lily: "Lucas, I'm coming with you"

Lucas: "Fine, just as long as you carry your own weight"

Lily: "Should be easy enough, since I'm always floating"

Lucas: "That's not what I— never mind"

I completely give up on her...

If you're wondering why I'm letting her tag along, it's because she's strong. Simple as that.

After what she did against that other Demigod, I started to see why she was locked away. And to be honest, I'm thankful she's on our side, even though she's annoying.

Yuna: "We have one week to find the Demigod school and end this war. If anyone decides that they want to stay, you can. Some of us may not make it back alive"

No one spoke.

Yuna: "That's what I like to hear! Let's go!"

We then walked through the portal.

On the other side, we were in a dark alley. The portal had just closed behind us and we no longer had a way of going back.

Yuna: "Where are we?"

Adrian: "I'm not sure, though it sounds like we're somewhere in a city"

Just outside of the alley, we could hear the sound of cars and people talking. I cautiously snuck over to the end of the alley and stuck my head out. I actually had to squint because of all of the bright lights.

Bright neon billboards filled the massive buildings that surrounded us. Japanese kanji were spread everywhere and everyone around us was speaking Japanese.

I turned back to everyone else.

Lucas: "Welcome to Japan"

Lucy: "J-Japan?!"

I rolled my eyes.

Lucas: "Calm down you Weeb. This may actually be pretty bad. We're on the complete opposite end of the planet. And as far as I know, none of us speak Japanese"

Yuna: "I do!"

Terran: "Same here"

Lucy: "Since when do you two speak Japanese?!"

Yuna: "I have the blood of Aphrodite in me, so I know all the languages of love"

Adrian: "I thought French was the language of love"

Terran spoke up before Yuna could continue.

Terran: "I actually have a few connections with Japan, some of my family lives here too. They own a hotel, so maybe we can stay there for the night. I know everyone's tired"

Lucy: "That sounds like a great idea! Thanks Terran!"

Terran seemed to blush a little.

Terran: "Whatever the case, we should find some shelter before we get into trouble. We're way out of reach for the Gods. We won't have any help from here on out"

Yuna: "Then just leave the talking to me and Terran"

Terran led the way, navigating us through the maze that was Tokyo. As we walked, people were constantly staring at us. It wasn't surprising, seeing a bunch of American teens walking down the streets of Tokyo very late at night. However while we were walking, I hung back a bit in the group, as usual. I was keeping an eye on our surroundings just to make sure we wouldn't get attacked. I looked over at Lily and was surprised none of the Mortals saw she was floating. I guess normal Mortals couldn't see it.

We finally arrived at the hotel, however I immediately noticed something was wrong with the place. The sign out front had a large pink heart drawn on it, which already made me think this wasn't an average hotel.

Terran: "What the hell—"

Lucy: "What is it?"

Terran: "Don't tell me they—"

Terran ran his hands through his hair and sighed.

Mia: "What does it say?"

Terran: "They turned their hotel into a love hotel..."

Mia: "What's that?"

Yuna: "It's a sex hotel, you come in and have sex for the night, then leave the next day"

Adrian: "W-WHAT?!"

Terran: "I could probably still get us those rooms, unless we want to try our luck somewhere else"

Terran went inside.

Mia: "Of course you'd be watching them"

Lucy: "What's that supposed to mean?"

Terran came back out with 4 room keys.

Terran: "Okay, I managed to get four rooms, so some of us will have to share"

Mia started hugging Adrian's arm and took one of the keys from Terran.

Mia: "We'll take one! See you all in the morning!"

The two of them disappeared into the hotel.

Yuna: "Godspeed, Adrian"

Lucas grabbed one of the keys.

Lucas: "Regardless, I have this one following me around"

I pointed at Lily.

Lucas: "So I'll take a room"

Yuna: "There's only three of us left then"

Lucy: "I think it would be better if me and Yuna shared one, since we're both girls. S-Sorry Terran"

Terran: "It's fine, but if you need anything, I'm one call away. Though Yuna should be able to translate for you"

And with that, we all split up into our separate rooms.

Mia had pretty much kidnapped me and took me up to the room. The second I saw the room, I knew I was in for a long, seriously embarrassing night.

The main bedroom wasn't that bad, it had a large bed that could easily fit the two of us and give us enough breathing room. It had a bathroom and shower that were closed off as well. There was a small kitchen and a few other things that made it look almost normal.

I sat her down at the table and placed her open palm up on the table. I grabbed a soft cloth and dabbed it with the disinfecting alcohol.

Adrian: "This will sting, but it'll clean it"

I pressed the cloth on her cut, making her hand flinch.

Mia: "Wow, yeah, t-that stings a lot"

If I didn't know any better, I thought I saw her blush a little. I didn't even realize I was holding her other hand to keep her calm.

After I cleaned the cut, I wrapped it up in the bandages.

Adrian: "There, all better"

Mia: "T-Thanks"

She looked down at her hand, still avoiding eye contact. I got up to put the medical supplies away when Mia spoke.
