Lucy

I was expecting my first morning at Mytho-Academy to be magical or supernatural, just something to make it extremely exciting.

Well... yes, this was kind of exciting... but not the right kind.

I decided to stay the night at Yuna's dorm, since it was too long of a walk to go back to my cabin. Despite all of the room in the dorm mansion, there was only one bedroom. So naturally, I slept in Yuna's bed. This bed was huge, so it wasn't short on space. The two of us could easily fit, maybe another 2 people as well if we wanted.

It was a bright morning, and the bed felt more comfy than any bed I'd ever slept on. The sunlight was shining in through the window, lighting the whole room. I went to change position when I felt something in my arms. I quickly pulled one of the blankets off of me and saw Yuna sleeping right next to me. Her face was pressed against my belly and she was completely asleep. As for her clothes...

Look, I typically sleep naked, as you know. It's more comfy. However when I know I'll be in a bed with someone else, I put pajamas on. Yuna on the other hand didn't care. She still had her bra and underwear on, however it was still super embarrassing.

On a closer look... she was actually pretty cute when she slept. She looked peaceful.

I tried to move away from her, however she had her arms wrapped around my waist. I looked over at the time and saw it was already 9am. I gently shook her shoulders.

Lucy: "Yuna, it's time to wake up"

Yuna: "N-No... f-five more minutes..."

I yawned, kind of surprising myself.

Lucy: "Yeah... you're right..."

Being the idiot I am, I passed out again, not realizing I was cuddling Yuna in my sleep. When we finally woke up, we had 20 minutes before we had to leave...

Don't look at me like that, sleep is important.

We all met up near the main entrance of the school, which was a massive gateway built into the wall. On the other side of the doors, was the dead forest that surrounded the school. However if the Gods opened it, it would make a portal. At least, that's what Adrian told me.

We were all here except for Lucas, who was the last to arrive, no surprises there. Though I wasn't much different...

Lucy: "Took you long enough!"

Lucas: "Shut it, be thankful I'm coming at all"

Yuna giggled.

Yuna: "I'm so happy you're coming~"

Lucas rolled his eyes.

Lucas: "Let's just get this over with"

Mia: "Can't yet, we need a God to come and open the portal"

???: "Which would be my job~"

I instantly recognized the voice and my mind almost melted. The soft and seductive tone made my heart do multiple backflips in my chest. I turned around instantly and saw Aphrodite standing behind us.

O-Okay, b-being in her presence is seriously difficult...

Aphrodite: "I'm assuming you're all ready~?"

Yuna: "Yep! We're all set!"

Aphrodite: "Uh uh~ not just yet. I still have one gift left for Lucy here"

I guess I was still in a trance, since the next thing I knew, I was holding a bundle of a long, golden rope.

Lucy: "W-What's this?"

Aphrodite: "The rope of Aphrodite~ It is unbreakable and can change its length at will. Though it may not help you in your current mission, I know it will help you in the future"

Lucy: "Thanks, but... w-why rope?"

She winked at me, making my heart skip a beat.

I seriously need to get away from her!!

Aphrodite simply giggled and walked past me. I could spell her perfume as she walked by, making me even more entranced. She held up her hand towards the gate, and with a flash of golden light at the seems of the gate doors, the doors swung open, leaving a swirling golden portal in its place.

Aphrodite: "This portal will take you to where you need to go. I wish you the best of luck"

Aphrodite was looking right at me, which made my legs feel like jelly.

Aphrodite: "I'm sorry, Lucy. I know being in my presence is difficult for you. So I'll leave. But I'll give you a word of advice before I leave"

She walked close to me and leaned over to whisper in my ear.

Aphrodite: "If you return successfully and enroll in the school, come by my classroom~"

My face steamed as she walked away, giggling innocently. Mia elbowed me.

Mia: "Snap out of it, I know she's hot, but come on"

Lucy: "I-It's not my fault!!"

Yuna: "Yeah, her godly charm is kind of annoying, but I'm not affected by it much"

Lucas: "Gods... do you ever stop talking... Let's just hurry this up"

On that happy note, (thanks Lucas), we stepped into the portal.

On the other side, was a huge jungle. It was filled with massive trees that I couldn't even see the top of. The sound of wildlife filled the air.

That's when the nausea hit...

I doubled over and grabbed my stomach.

Lucy: "D-Damnit... w-why do I feel so..."

Mia: "O-Oh crap! Hold on, Lucy"

Mia pulled out what looked to be a thermos from her backpack. She opened it and pressed it against my lips. I took a sip and it tasted way different than I thought it would. It tasted warm and chocolaty, like how Mom's fudge brownies tasted. However it was in drink form, which actually fit well.

As I drank, my nausea went away.

Mia: "Even Demigods sometimes get dizzy or nauseous, probably should've realized you would've had it much worse, sorry"

Lucy: "It's fine, but what did I drink?"

Mia: "Nectar, the drink of the Gods. The taste is different depending on who drinks it. It tastes like your favorite flavor in the world"

I got up and looked around. No one else had side effects as bad as mine, so they were fine. It felt a little embarrassing that I was the only one majorly affected, but I quickly got over it.

Lucy: "So, where to?"

Mia: "Don't know, I've never been here before"

Yuna: "None of us have"

Terran: "I... I think I can be of some help"

We all turned to him, which seemed to make him a little nervous.

Terran: "M-My mother is Gaia, the Greek Goddess of the earth. So... I can see a big area around us"

Yuna: "How can you do that?!"

Terran: "I have control over the earth, so naturally I can sense things that are on the ground"

Terran got down on one knee and placed his hand on the ground. He closed his eyes and started to focus.

Terran: "There's a temple not far from here. It's a little run down, maybe as old as the Romans. It's about a 20 minute walk north"

Mia: "Right, let's get going"

We started walking north, not finding anything very important on the way. There was a lot of bugs, but Yuna acted as a type of bug zapper. Pink electricity arced from her body to any bug that got close to her. I made sure to stay a few feet away from her. As we were walking, I noticed Lucas was straggling behind a bit. But I tried not to pay much attention to it, this was normal for him.

Suddenly, Terran stopped in his tracks.

Terran: "Should be right beyond these trees"

Adrian: "W-Why are we stopping?"

Terran: "Because there may be people here. Get your weapons ready"

Terran pulled his gem mace off of his back. Yuna formed a katana in each hand. The one in her left hand was formed through pink flames while the one on her right formed from pink lightning. Mia grew long cat claws on the tips of her finger nails thanks to her shapeshifting. Adrian didn't form or draw a weapon, so I assumed he didn't have one. Lucas formed his twin pistols out of nothing but shadows. I drew my dagger from my belt.

With our weapons ready, we marched towards the temple.

The temple wasn't anything special, honestly. It was a typical Roman temple that had been worn down over time. The pillars had broken apart, the walls and ceiling were collapsing, even moss and vines were growing on the ruins.

Lucas: "You sure this is where we need to go?"

Terran: "Never said it's where we need to go, I just said it's the closest thing nearby. Everything else is at least a few hours away. So it was worth checking out"

Lucas rolled his eyes. He mumbled something under his breath and walked over by a tree and sat down.

So much for his help.

Adrian: "The style of ancient Roman architecture is fascinating. I've always wanted to visit the origin of Rome. Their own way of erecting these massive buildings in such short amounts of time is incredible"

Mia put her arm over Adrian's shoulder.

Mia: "Nerd~"

Adrian: "I-I'm not...!! I... I-I just like the buildings in Roman times..."

I looked over at Terran, who seemed really bothered by the dead end we'd reach.

Lucy: "H-Hey, Terran. Is there anything else around here? Maybe under the temple"

Terran: "Smart idea, thanks Lucy"

I couldn't help but blush at his compliment. I could see Mia giggling to herself.

Terran drove one of his hands into the ground. After a few seconds, he pulled it out.

Terran: "There's definitely something under there, not sure what though. There has to be a secret door to it or something"

We all started to look around, moving some of the rubble from ruins. However no matter where we looked, we couldn't find anything. The only thing that seemed out of place was a statue in the center of the temple.

It was at least 4 times taller than me. It was a full marble statue of a woman. She had white Roman robes as clothes and a quiver of arrows on her back. However she didn't have a bow. Right next to her, was a deer.

Lucy: "Woah"

Adrian: "I... I think that's Diana, the Roman Goddess of wild animals, the hunt, chastity, virgins, and the moon"

Mia elbowed him playfully.

Mia: "Guess she's your Goddess, you virgin"

Adrian: "A-Anyway... it makes sense that her temple is out here in the woods, since she also watches over the hunt"

Lucy: "Maybe the statue has something to do with the basement"

Terran: "Maybe... if only there was a way..."

Terran then realized something.

Terran: "There's writing on the statue!"

Terran reached out to touch the statue, however he quickly retracted his hand and held his weapon ready.

Terran: "We're not alone!!"

Suddenly, people jumped out of the trees and landed in front of us. With bows and spears drawn, they surrounded us in a huge circle. There had to be at least 50 of them surrounding us. However each person was female, not a single male.

They all had leather armor covering their body, and either wielding a spear or bow.

Terran: "U-Uh, h-hello? We don't mean you any harm—"

Before Terran could continue, one of the warriors slammed the base of her spear into Terran's stomach, making him collapse to the ground.

Lucy: "Terran!!"

Before any of us could fully react, we were all knocked out one by one.

When I woke up, I was on the ground. The ground felt like concrete. I sat up as my vision started to clear. Next to me, I could see everyone still knocked out. Lucas and Terran had their hands tied behind their backs, however no one else did. Around us, were a few of the warriors that captured us. I was about to yell at them, however I then noticed what was in front of me.

There was a throne, made of pure gold. It was raised up on a pedestal, with stairs leading up to it. At the base of the throne, were two more warriors.

Sitting in the throne, was a woman, maybe 2 years older than me. She had long, raven black hair and fiery red eyes. Her right eye had a small scar over it. She wore grey armor that left her thighs, arms, and belly exposed. She had a red cape hanging on her back and a long spear in her hand.

At that moment, everyone else started to wake up.

Lucy: "W-Who are you!! Where are we?! W-What do you want!"

The woman grinned, somewhat amused.

???: "Captured and completely defenseless, yet you still take the aggressive route, I can respect that"

She stood up and slammed the base of her spear onto the ground. This started to make everyone else slowly wake up.

???: "My name is Andra, the Queen of the Amazons. And you're trespassing on our sacred ground"

Terran slowly got up.

Terran: "W-We didn't mean to—"

Before he could even get a chance to finish his sentence, one of the warriors ran up to him and kicked him in the face, knocking him back down.

Amazon: "Quiet Male!!! You do not speak in the presence of the Queen!!!"

Lucy: "H-Hey!!! Don't hurt him!!!"

Amazon: "Oh, is he your servant? My apologies. However he should know when he is allowed to speak. You obviously haven't trained him that well"

Lucy: "W-What?! N-No! He's not my servant!"

The warrior looked at me with disgust.

Amazon: "Oh, so you're one of those girls"

Lucy: "What are you talking about!"

Andra: "Stand down, do not hurt him any further unless given orders to"

The warrior backed away.

Andra: "I see you do not understand how us Amazons handle the male gender"

Andra started walking down the stairs to her throne.

Andra: "You see, men are the cause of all problems in the world. Men go to conflict over four things. Wealth, fame, power, and woman. They are untamed beasts that are only kept in line by us women.

Lucy: "You're being sexist!"

Andra: "Men aren't worthy of even being referred to as a gender. Men are manipulative, abusive, violent, and treat women like property. We are women, we cannot be sexist"

Lucas cursed at Andra.

Lucas: "Sexism goes both ways, asshole"

One warrior kicked Lucas in the face with her metal boots on. A little blood dripped out of his mouth.

Lucy: "Lucas!!!"

Lucas spat out the blood from his mouth. He scowled up at the warrior.

Lucas: "That was your only free shot. Back off"

Amazon: "Quiet, Mongrel!! You are nothing but a pathetic—"

Lucas snapped the rope binding his wrists and swiped at the warrior's leg with his, making the warrior lose her balance. She recovered with a backflip, readying her spear.

Lucas patted the dust and dirt off of his sleeves.

Lucas: "I gave you a warning"

Lucas formed his shadow pistol and aimed it at the warrior.

Lucas: "Rot in Tartarus"

Amazon: "Seize him!!"

Andra: "ENOUGH!!!!!"

Her shout was enough to make even Lucas stand down. She looked at all of the Amazons in the room.

Andra: "You are all dismissed. I wish to speak with them alone"

Amazon: "But, your highness—"

Andra snapped.

Andra: "LEAVE!!!"

While most of them didn't like it, they still left the room, closing the doors behind them.

Andra: "I apologize, as much as it pains me to say it"

She finally reached the bottom of the steps, and she was actually pretty tall.

Andra: "While it is true we do not think very highly of men, we usually don't start conflict with them"

Lucas actually seemed to listen and made his gun dissipate.

Lucas: "Great hospitality..."

Andra: "Everyone here, everyone in the Amazons have been hurt by men in some way. Ways that can't be fixed..."

Lucy: "What happened to you?"

Andra: "I..."

I could tell she was having a hard time reliving bad memories.

Andra: "I had my maidenhood forcefully taken from me..."

Lucas: "I'm sorry that happened, but it doesn't give you permission to be a complete bitch to people just because they're a certain gender"

Andra: "You may not agree with how we view men... but... we know they're still human. We don't actively go to harass them. But if they try to... what's the word you people use in this age... hit on one of the Amazons, then we do something about it. Most men also try to force us into submission, but we quickly deal with it"

Adrian: "B-But not all men are like that"

Mia: "He's right, this one wouldn't even have the balls to ask someone their name, let alone hit on someone"

Adrian: "H-Hey...! Not true...!"

Andra: "Oh— Wait, you're male? We assumed you were female based on your body type"

Mia burst out laughing, and to be honest, I did a little too. Andra even smirked.

Terran: "See? We're not all bad. So can someone please untie me?"

Andra nodded. I walked over to Terran and cut his ropes with my knife.

Andra: "A group of Demigods appearing at the alter of our Goddess, a symbol of the Amazons, was a little suspicious to say the least. The kidnapping was just a precaution"

She fixated her eyes on me.

Andra: "Well, almost all Demigods"

She walked up to me. Just being this close to her was pretty intimidating.

Andra: "What is a mortal like you doing with a group of Demigods?"

Lucas actually stepped between me and Andra and scowled at her.

Lucas: "What's it to you?"

Andra scowled right back, not backing down.

Andra: "Watch your tongue, boy. Do not forget who's domain you reside in"

Lucas turned away and sighed, still scowling.

Lucas: "She's my sister, but she wasn't born with God blood. There, happy?"

Andra studied me.

Andra: "Interesting... so why are you all here in the first place?"

Yuna: "The Gods sent us on a quest to pick up something here from the protectors of this area, which I assume is you"

Andra: "I see... very well. Come with me"

Andra led us down deeper into the fortress they had. According to Terran, it was completely underground. We walked past a large room that had multiple boys in cells, mainly around our age. They were wearing dog collars around their necks.

Lucy: "Uh... what the..."

Andra: "Oh, those are our male slaves. They're like servants, if you will. They do as we say and we reward them"

Yuna: "Reward them, how?"

Andra smirked a little.

Andra: "I step on their heads and make them say humiliating stuff about themselves"

O-O

Yeah, that's normal.... NOT

Lucy: "I'm not sure I feel comfortable here anymore. That's just... wrong..."

Andra: "I'm just messing with you. For the most part anyways. While yes, they are our servants, they receive shelter and food while they're here. Much more than they deserve... but still"

Terran: "Just keeping them as slaves isn't right"

She glared at Terran, however her expression softened.

Andra: "While we do tend to hate males, we occasionally have relationships with them too. It's not all servants and slaves. Most of the warriors here have boyfriends, however they are obviously the dominant one in the relationship"

Mia: "Hm... I wouldn't mind having that much power over Adrian here~"

Adrian: "W-What...?! S-Stop teasing..."

Mia stuck her tongue out at Adrian and winked. Surprisingly, this made Andra smile.

Andra: "We treat them like humans, for the most part. However they need to be reminded who's in charge around here. And it isn't them"

She took us all the way down a large set of stairs until we reached a metal door. It looked almost like a mini back vault. Andra held out a small stone about the size of her palm. On the stone, was a bow and arrow carved into it.

When she held it up to the door, it started to glow a light blue. The sound of gears and mechanisms working inside the door. The door then swung open, revealing a dark room. There was nothing in it, except for one thing.

A box.

Wait... what...

That's it? A box?

Lucy: "Is this it?"

Andra: "Correct, our Goddess Diana has informed us that the Gods require this and to keep it safe"

Terran: "So can we take it?"

Andra: "You cannot. However I'll allow one of the girls in your group to take it"

Lucas: "Screw this sexist crap..."

Lucas walked inside and grabbed the box.

Andra: "What do you think you're doing?!"

Lucas held the box out and let it get absorbed by the shadows.

Lucas: "There, now only myself and Mom have access to it.

Andra charged Lucas, spear in hand. She slammed the base of it into his chest, sending him back. However Lucas managed to keep his footing.

Andra: "How dare you!!!"

Lucas: "Pretty easily, actually"

Lucas formed his gun and pointed it at Andra.

Lucas: "Try that again and it'll be the last thing you do"

Lucy: "Lucas! Cut it out!!"

Lucas glared at me.

Lucas: "I hate this quest.... Fine"

The box formed in his hand when he stuck his hand into a shadowy part of the room. He tossed it to me, which I just barely managed to catch.

Lucas: "There, happy?"

Andra: "I should kill you for that!"

Lucas: "That would be an interesting attempt, let's see it"

Suddenly, the lid of the box in my hand burst open. The inside of the box was glowing a bright red. It got so bright that we all had to cover our eyes. When the light faded, there was a person standing between Lucas and Andra.

They was a girl that looked our age, maybe a year younger. She had pure white hair and glowing red eyes. Her pupils weren't round, but pointed, like a blade. She had pointy ears like Idril had, however a little smaller. Hanging out from her mouth, was a long fang. She wore a red and white dress that left her shoulders exposed. She had fishnet leggings that went up to just above her knees and fishnet gloves that went just above her elbow. She didn't wear any shoes, however it looked like she didn't need to. Instead of actually standing in front of them, she was hovering a few inches off of the ground, like she was floating. Around her neck, was a silver holy cross.

She put her hand in front of Lucas protectively.

???: "Stay away"

For once, Lucas looked just as surprised as we were.

Andra: "W-Where did..."

The girl's eyes went fierce.

???: "Drop your weapon!!"

Her voice was so powerful that both Lucas and Andra dropped their weapons.

???: "Out of the way, now"

Andra stepped out of the way, however when I saw her face, it was filled with fear. The girl grabbed Lucas' hand, which would've been a death sentence to literally anyone, and walked him back over to us. Well, I guess floated. She didn't touch the ground once, she just floated over.

???: "Let's go, before my spell wears off"

Lucy: "H-Hold on, who—"

Before I could say anything, alarms started blaring.

Terran: "No time! Let's move!!"

We rushed up the stairs of the fortress and eventually found our way to an exit, without running into any other Amazons. Right as we were about to leave, someone shouted at us from father down the hall.

Andra: "Get them!! Don't let them escape!!"

The Amazons sprinted down the hall.

Mia: "Come on!! Go!!"

We ran out the door and back into the forest we arrived in. We ran deeper into the forest, just trying to get away from them. I could hear their battle cry as we ran, which was one of the most terrifying things in the world.

Lucy: "Where should we go?!"

Adrian: "N-Normally, we'd use a portal. B-But we don't have any time to open one!"

This entire time, the white haired girl was just floating with us. She was in a position to where it looked like she was laying on her back. Her eyes were closed, so she didn't even know where she was going. However she was avoiding everything without even looking.

Lucas: "I have an idea, but you have to listen to me!"

Yuna: "Anything!"

Lucas: "I can take you all into the shadows like I can, but if I do, do not let go of me. If you do, you'll get lost"

We all joined hands as we ran, like a chain of hand holding. For those of you wondering, yes, I was holding Terran's hand, which nearly made me pass out. However I was also holding Yuna's, so I was a little more calm than I would've been.

Lucas: "Don't let go!! No matter what!!"

Suddenly, about 20 spears were thrown in our direction. They would've hit us, killing us immediately. However right before they could hit us, a wall made out of pure ice formed between us and the volley of spears. I looked over and saw Adrian with his hand held towards the enemy.

Lucy: "Cryokinesis?! That's so cool!!"

Adrian blushed a little.

Lucas: "Brace yourselves!!!"

You know that feeling when you're lying down in bed and you suddenly get the feeling that you're falling, even though you're perfectly still? That's basically what it felt like to travel into the shadows. As darkness completely enveloped me, the last shred of light that I saw was an army of Amazons charging at us.

We emerged from the shadow being casted by Mytho-Academy's huge wall. Just seeing light again made my eyes sting, no wonder Lucas hates the day.

We were all laying on the ground, all except the white haired girl, who was still floating. However she was hovering over Lucas, looking at him with curiosity.

Once I started waking up, the rest quickly followed.

Yuna: "O-Okay, what just happened!!"

Mia: "We have made ourselves enemy number one by the most deadly group of warriors in Roman Mythology...."

Adrian: "At least we've completed our mission, kind of..."

We all turned our attention to the girl. Lucas was trying to move away from her, however she just floated with him. At one point, she was completely upside down, staring right into Lucas' eyes.

???: "You know, you're kind of cute"

Lucas looked kind of surprised, however he didn't seem embarrassed.

Lucas: "Just who the hell are you?"

The girl looked deep into his eyes.

???: "My name is Lilith, but you can just call me Lily. And as of now, Lucas Yukari will be my new Master.

She bowed whiled still floating.

Lily: "I look forward to being in your service, Master"

Sorry these chapters are taking a while to write. I've been having a hard time staying focused with writing, but I'll try my best!
