Connor

It's been years since I last saw most of these people.

I was sent into the courtroom of the Gods, which was pretty much their office. It was the place where if you wanted to talk to them, you had to come here.

I was already sitting at one of the meeting tables that were spread throughout the room. I was at the head of the table. Suddenly, from a shadow on the ground, Angel formed right in front of me.

Connor: "How's Lucy?"

Angel: "She'll be okay, Mia's watching over her"

Connor: "That's good, but I'm still concerned"

Angel: "We can discuss it more once everyone arrives"

As if on cue, the door to the courtroom swung open.

Two women walked into the room. The first was a face I could never forget. She had the same color brown as my hair, and the same bright blue as my eyes. She wore her hair straight down, which was definitely a change from how she used to wear it. She wore her same purple hoodie and a new looking black skirt. It was my sister, Emiko

The other had reddish hair with bright green eyes. Her hair was tied into a ponytail that went down to her hips. She wore a green sleeveless shirt with a reddish plad sweater wrapped around her waist. She was probably wearing shorts underneath, however the sweater was covering it. It was Himari, Emiko's now wife.

Emiko: "Damn, someone grew the hell up"

Connor: "And I'm still taller than you~"

Emiko: "Shut up, I may be shorter, but I can still kick your ass"

I laughed a little.

Connor: "Alright, alright, I'm sorry"

Himari: "Hey guys! How've you been?"

Angel: "Not so good today, but other than that, pretty good"

Emiko: "I heard, is Lucy okay?"

Angel: "Yes, Mia is watching over her"

Himari: "Good, if anyone can protect her, it's our daughter"

I smirked.

Connor: "How did the two of you have a child?"

Emiko blushed up a storm.

Emiko: "N-None of your business!"

Himari winked at me and Angel.

Himari: "Being a shapeshifter has its perks~"

Emiko looked back at Himari, her face covered in blush.

Emiko: "One more word about this topic and I'll make sure you're punished!"

We suddenly heard a voice from behind Emiko and Himari.

???: "Sounds kinky~"

From behind them, two more women walked in.

One had long blonde hair and fierce sky blue eyes. She wore a white long sleeve shirt that left her shoulders exposed. She also wore a black skirt and white heels. Every time you looked into her eyes, it looked like a storm was constantly surging in them. Her name was Siyuka, one of the most powerful Demigods in the world.

The other girl was a little shorter than Siyuka. She had long black hair that was tied into a long ponytail. She work a sleeveless black shirt that left her belly exposed. She also wore a black skirt with a yellow heart belt going around it. She had black and yellow boots on her feet and an orange and purple bracelet on her left wrist. The most amazing thing about her was her eyes. Her left eye was dark purple, but her right was bright orange. Her name was July, Siyuka's wife.

Emiko: "I-It's not kinky, July!!"

July giggled.

July: "It's definitely kinky~ probably some bdsm after the lights go out—"

Siyuka covered her mouth.

Siyuka: "Okay, that's enough, don't tease her too much"

Emiko let out an embarrassed sigh.

Emiko: "T-Thanks"

Siyuka: "That being said... I need to be able to have something to tease her about too!"

Emiko: "K-Knock it off!!"

We all started laughing, which was definitely something I missed.

Siyuka: "Looks like we're waiting on Water Boy and Ice Girl"

???: "We're here!!"

A portal had formed behind me and Angel. When I turned around, I saw two familiar faces I hadn't seen in years.

One was a man with spiky, dark blue hair and ocean green eyes. He wore a blue collared shirt with a purple tie. Part of his shirt was untucked from his black jeans. He had a pair of blue goggles on his head as well. The one thing that stuck out the most was the massive sword on his back. It was Kaito, one of my best friends.

Holding his hand, was a girl a little taller than him. She had straight, long hair and eyes both snow white in color. She wore a blue winter hat and hoodie. She also had black snow pants and blue boots on her feet. She was Frostine, Kaito's wife.

For those of you new here, this was the original Team Demigod, still working on that name to this day. But all the people here in the room were my closest friends and family.

Connor: "Kaito, good to see you! It's been a while"

Kaito walked over and we gave each other a hug. Just a little bromance for you.

Kaito: "Almost 18 years, can't believe it's been that long"

Frostine: "It feels weird being back here, though not much has changed in this room"

Angel: "It's almost like nothing's changed"

Suddenly, a booming voice filled the room.

???: "Many things have changed since our last meeting"

From up where the judge would sit in the courtroom, sat a man with a perfect figure. He wore ancient Egyptian style clothes that were all made of gold. He had a crook in his left hand that radiated with power. However his head was that of falcon. Just being in his presence made the rest of us feel inferior.

Kaito: "Good to see you, Headmaster Ra"

If a falcon could smile, I think Ra was doing it.

Ra: "It's good to see you too, all of you. I'm sorry we must meet again under these circumstances. However I'm afraid we have no other choice. Please, have a seat"

We all sat down at the table.

Ra: "Earlier today, Connor and Angel were attacked at their own home and driven all the way here, just beyond our borders"

Kaito: "What attacked them?"

Connor: "Ammit, the Egyptian devourer of souls"

Ra: "That is correct, however it should've been in the underworld with Osiris, devouring the souls who were deemed unworthy of the afterlife. For it to show up out of the underworld, and in the mortal world no less, is unheard of. Someone set it free"

Emiko: "The Destroyer?"

Ra: "We cannot rule that out, however we cannot confirm nor deny at this moment. In any case, Ammit was not after Connor or Angel. It was instead after their mortal daughter, Lucy"

Angel: "I'd understand if she was a Demigod, but she's mortal, unlike Lucas"

Frostine: "Maybe it was after him, and targeted her by association"

Ra: "That wasn't the case, it was indeed after Lucy. Based on the report Lucas gave us, Ammit went right past him, even while being attacked"

July: "So what can we do?"

Ra: "For now, nothing. Odin is currently conversing with the residents in Valhalla, preparing them for battle"

Siyuka: "What do you mean? Why battle?"

Ra: "As much as I hate to admit it, I fear another war is swiftly approaching. And this war, will be more catastrophic than the war with Nanami"

The name Namami made the whole room go quiet. Nearly all of the school had been lost during that war. Luckily, just enough survived to keep it going. And in the current day, we have almost as many as before.

Himari: "What war? With who?"

Ra: "Recently, I've revived word of scouts we've sent out into the mortal realm. According to them, there are signs of another school for Demigods"

Kaito: "What?! I thought they were all destroyed in the last war!"

Ra: "So did us Gods, however if they're right, and another school is still running, it could mean disaster for us all"

Frostine: "Why? Since they're the only ones left, other than us, why don't we try to make peace with them?"

Connor: "Because for the most part, we are responsible for the last war"

Ra: "Correct, though we cannot make any contact with the other school until we know exactly where it is. Once that has been achieved, then—"

Suddenly, the doors to the room swung open. Idril quickly ran through the doorway, a panicked look on her face.

Connor: "Idril? What's wrong?!"

Idril: "I-I've heard word that L-Lucy's already gotten into some trouble with another student"

Siyuka: "Heh, sounds about right for you Yukari's"

I only have one word to describe this school, but I can't think of it at the moment, that's how amazing this place was!!!

At first, I thought it would be some boring school that happened to teach you to be a gladiator or something. But this was much cooler.

The infirmary was in the main central building, which was easily the size of 10 mansions combined. The building was divided into four different styles. Since I had a guide with me, I decided to ask a few questions.

Lucy: "What's with the different designs?"

Mia: "The school is divided into four different parts, or mythology if you prefer. There's Norse, Greek, Roman, and Egyptian. The marble areas are both Greek and Roman, since they were so similar. The limestone sections are the Egyptian parts, and the ones made of timber wood are from Norse"

Lucy: "So cool!!"

My eyes grew sparkles.

Mia: "Of course, there are other mythology out there. At least... there were. But these four at the most prominent"

As we walked down the halls, I could see multiple students in different classrooms. I could see a few classes on history, which was probably on the mythology. Another class had some kind of weird symbols on the board, which Mia told me was hieroglyphics. Then there was a blacksmith class, which I could feel the heat from a few rooms down.

Lucy: "So this is where you come every year?"

Mia: "Yep, Demigods come here to be trained for the future. As you saw, Monsters exist out in the mortal world. It's our job to not only train to defend ourselves, but the mortals as well"

I was mystified by all of this.

Lucy: "Wow... You're a Demigod, right? What can you do?"

Mia: "Well, it's complicated for me. I'm not a full blooded Demigod, I'm the child of two Demigods, so my blood is kind of weird. 50% of my blood is mortal, like every Demigod. However my Moms' have different godly parents. Emiko's parent was Heka, the Egyptian God of Magic. Himari's parent was Loki, the Norse God of Magic and Mischief"

Lucy: "So... in other words... YOU CAN DO MAGIC!!!!!"

Mia: "K-Keep it down, classes are going on. And... not really. I didn't inherit many magic abilities"

She grew a grin.

Mia: "But I can definitely do this"

Right in front of my eyes, I watched Mia's body morph and change into a cat.

Lucy: "S-Shapeshifting?!? That's so cool!!!"

She transformed back into her human form, however she still had the cat ears and tail.

Mia: "Yeah, I can shapeshift like Himari. However I can do more than her. She can only fully transform, meanwhile I can change parts of my body or add stuff to my body"

Lucy: "So... why cat ears of all things?"

Mia: "I'm a shapeshifter, I can look however the hell I want"

I grew a mischievous grin.

Lucy: "Does that mean you can change your gender~?"

Mia's smile faded.

Mia: "I... guess..."

I immediately knew to drop the subject. Maybe it was too embarrassing, or maybe it feels really weird to be a boy and she didn't like it. Sorry boys, but I'm pretty sure being one of you would be extremely uncomfortable~

Suddenly, I heard quick footsteps echo through the halls. I then saw a girl turn the corner of another hallway, running straight towards us. It was the girl who helped me fight Ammit!

The second she saw me, her eyes lit up. She sprinted to me but quickly grabbed my shoulder and hid behind me. She whispered.

???: "I'm not here!"

From the same hall she had come from, emerged a tall man. He was completely covered in what looked like either bronze or gold armor. He had a Greek style soldier helmet on his head. In his left hand, was a large bronze shield. In his right, was a large, blood red spear.

At first, just looking at this guy sent chills down my spine. He scanned down this way and scowled. He then continued running down into another hallway.

???: "Phew, thanks for the help!"

The girl came out from behind me.

Lucy: "N-No problem, it was the least I could do"

???: "Why's that?"

Lucy: "You protected me earlier"

???: "Are you serious? You're the one who protected me. I kind of got my butt kicked..."

She grabbed both of my hands and started shaking them.

???: "I'm Yuna! Sorry I didn't tell you earlier"

Something about her kind and bubbly personality was really nice, something kind of normal around here.

Yuna: "Also, if you see Ares run by here again, I wasn't here"

Mia: "What did you do?"

Yuna: "I may have put a mini explosive on his chair. But I definitely didn't"

She winked.

Lucy: "Y-You did what?! A-And you mean the Ares? The Greek God of War?! Why would you do that!!"

Yuna: "Because it's fun!"

Mia: "Not if you get caught"

Yuna: "The thrill of the chase makes it worth it~ Besides, he never catches me—"

She was then lifted off the ground by someone standing behind her. They had a deep, booming voice. Almost like that of an explosion going off.

Ares: "Until you get cocky, you little brat!"

Yuna: "WAAAAA!!!!"

Yuna tried to get free, however Ares formed a long chain out of thin air and wrapped Yuna up in it.

Ares: "You'll be going to Aphrodite to serve out detention. The exploding chair was genius, but not when it's used on me"

He then dragged Yuna down the hall, only holding onto the end of the chain. Yuna slid across the floor as she was pulled along.

Yuna: "Hey! I'll see you two later! Meet me in the Roman wing!"

She was then pulled around the corner.

Lucy: "What did I just witness..."

Mia and I broke into a laugh.

Mia: "She's been a troublemaker since I first came here. But she's really sweet, so I wouldn't worry about her"

Mia: "Anyone I should worry about?"

Mia: "Oh yeah, there's a few assholes around here. There's a son of Epiales, the Greek God of Nightmares, he's a complete jerk. Then there's a few children of Ares, who you just saw. They're... not the nicest. The Demigods of Aphrodite and Venus, the Greek and Roman Goddesses of Love, they're the ones you have to look out for. They fall into two categories, they're either complete masochists or complete sadists"

Lucy: "Maybe I'll meet some of these Aphrodite and Venus kids~"

Mia grinned.

Mia: "Didn't know you were into bdsm"

Lucy: "The hell I am!!!"

Mia: "So which would you go for~? A masochist or a sadist~?"

Lucy: "Hm... masochist would be easier to deal with, but a sadist would be in control of me. Tough choice~"

Mia: "Personally, I'd go for a masochist"

I started laughing hard.

Lucy: "What is this conversation?! Hahahaha! We're in a school for Demigods and we're talking about masochists and sadists!"

Mia: "Hey, you're the one who brought it up"

Mia grinned.

Mia: "Besides, I saw the way you were looking at Aphrodite~"

Lucy: "T-That wasn't my fault!!"

Mia stuck her tongue out.

Mia: "Was it~?"

I laughed a little.

Lucy: "You jerk!"

The sound of a bell echoed through the building, signaling the end of the class. The halls were suddenly flooded with students, however Mia managed to keep me under the radar and out of view. Soon enough, the halls started to clear as everyone went to their next class. However I suddenly heard a shout from across the hall.

???: "What is that thing doing here?!?!"

I quickly turned around and knew this was going to be a living hell. I saw a girl with long blonde hair and literal pink eyes. She wore a long golden dress, like that of a princess. She was extremely tall, almost 2 feet (0.6 meters) taller than me.

Lucy: "O-Olivia?!"

She marched straight up to me with a glare in her eyes.

Olivia: "What the hell are you doing here!! You're a filthy mortal!!!!"

Mia: "Olivia, back off!!"

I looked over at Mia.

Lucy: "She's seriously a Demigod too?!"

Olivia: "The Gods must be going fucking crazy to allow something like you into the school"

Lucy: "What do you mean something like me?!"

Olivia grinned.

Olivia: "A filthy, disgusting mortal. It's unheard of for one of your kind to be in this school"

Lucy: "I don't care what I am, I'm here right now because the Gods let me. They hold more power than you ever will, so you don't get a say in this"

Olivia was actually letting out a small growl. Suddenly, she balled her first and threw a punch at me so fast I couldn't even react. But before she could land the hit, she stopped herself, about two inches from my face.

Olivia: "You're not worth it, I don't want to have detention with my Mom"

All the pieces of a puzzle were put in place in my mind. Olivia's Mom was working here and according to what Mia said, the teachers were mostly Gods. And Ares had said Yuna would be spending detention in Aphrodite's class. So that means....

Lucy: "A-Aphrodite is your Mom?!?!"

Olivia: "Are you stupid?! Yes it's Aphrodite!! Don't you see the resemblance in my beauty?"

Lucy: "Beauty? Are you sure Aphrodite's your Mom? I don't see any resemblance"

She grabbed me by my shirt collar.

Olivia: "You listen here, Mortal, you don't belong here, and I can't wait to see your tombstone in the school graveyard"

Mia: "Go away, Olivia, you don't have the same power here that you do at the mortal school"

Olivia: "Yeah yeah, shut it you gender—"

Mia lashed out at Olivia, cat claws grown on the end of her fingers. However I managed to grab her in time before she could strike.

Mia: "Shut the fuck up!!!!!!!!!!!"

Olivia: "Oh yeah, I forgot, touchy subject for you~"

Lucy: "Just go away!!!"

Olivia: "Fine, but I'd watch your back, Mortal. I may not be as powerful as I was in the mortal school, but don't underestimate my power here"

She then walked off, leaving us alone again. Mia had a scowl on her face.

Mia: "I hate her... so much...."

Lucy: "What did she mean by—"

Mia: "Forget you heard anything, please...."

Suddenly, I heard footsteps coming down the hall again. At first, I thought Yuna had gotten free, however the footsteps were smaller and more quiet. Then, turning the corner, I could see Idril running towards us.

However something about her was different, she had a white long, somewhat fluffy tail poking out from her lower back!!! She wasn't wearing shoes either, which is why her steps were so silent.

Lucy: "I-Idril?! Does everyone have a tail?!"

She grabbed ahold of me and hugged me tightly. Idril blushed slightly and look up at me shyly.

Idril: "I'm so glad you're okay, Lucy. I... I'm so sorry I wasn't there to protect you..."

I rubbed the back of her head, which she'd always loved.

Lucy: "Why are you apologizing? It wasn't your fault"

Idril: "I was called here to do a report of the Mortal world. But... I wasn't there to protect you when you needed it the most... Connor and Angel put me in charge of helping and protecting you since you were born. I failed you..."

Lucy: "You didn't fail me, please don't talk like that"

Idril: "I-In any rate, I saw what happened with Olivia. I... I should've told you. But I was forbidden"

I spoke in a comforting tone.

Lucy: "It's okay, I'm not mad"

Mia: "Was there a reason you searched for us?"

Idril: "O-Oh yeah! Headmaster Ra wishes to see you"

Lucy: "Ra, as in Amun Ra?!!"

Idril: "Yes, he's one of the four headmasters at the school. But he'd like a meeting with you"

Lucy: "Am I in trouble...?"

Idril: "I can't say for certain... but I'm sure it'll be okay"

That's when an explosion went off and I heard Ares yell, echoing through the school.
