Connor

After getting yelled at by Emiko, I was already having a headache. Angel, Emiko, Idril, Himari and I were all in the courtroom of the Gods.

Connor: "I'm still not wrong with what I said. I may have been a little too blunt with it, but it was for her own good!"

Emiko: "But now she's run off with the rest of them!"

Connor: "How is that my fault?! I'm the one who told her not to go!"

Angel: "Please calm down you two"

Himari: "Yeah, it's not that big of a deal"

Emiko: "How is it not?! Lucy could be killed out there!!"

Angel: "All of our children are in serious danger out there, not just Lucy"

Emiko: "But she's the only mortal!! I've been the one training her, and I know she isn't ready!"

Connor: "Then tell her that!! I told her not to go!"

Idril: "P-Please stop fighting, it's not helping"

I took a deep breath.

Connor: "What are we supposed to do?"

Himari: "We can't really do anything now. We don't know where they ended up since it's out of reach of the Gods"

Angel: "All we can do is pray"

Connor: "I should go out and find her"

Emiko: "Don't be stupid, you'll never find them in time. We need you here in case of the peace talks going wrong. You're our ace"

Connor: "Fine... But while we're here sitting on our asses, our children are risking their lives"

Idril: "Now you know what it was like for your parents, back during the war"

Connor: "That was different"

Emiko: "Why?"

Connor: "Because we were the only ones capable of fighting the Fallen. We could've sent anyone for this task, why did it have to be our children? Hell, sending us would've been a better choice"

Angel placed her hand on mine.

Angel: "Connor, you know why they have to go"

Connor: "Because the Gods are making them, I know. Just like how they sent us on quests like this, not helping in the slightest"

Angel squeezed my hand.

Angel: "Would you have grown stronger if you never went on the quest?"

Connor: "No, but I wouldn't have died. I got lucky, they won't"

Angel: "Please, have faith in them. Even you know some of them are more powerful than us when we were their age"

Himari: "Lucas, right?"

Angel: "Yes, while everyone thinks that Yuna is the most powerful demigod in the school, it's actually Lucas. But... no one seems to acknowledge that"

Connor: "He doesn't need the popularity, that's just how he is"

Angel: "Still, they can handle themselves. They're our children after all"

Connor: "Yeah, I guess you're right"

I looked down at the ring on my hand. It was the ring Blaze forged for me so many years ago. I remembered everything we went through, and how dangerous it was for even a Demigod. Maybe I was a little too harsh with Lucy, but she needed to know the truth. I just hope she doesn't get anyone else in trouble.

I mumbled under my breath.

Connor: "Take care of her, Lucas"

Later that day, I decided to go out to the graveyard we had for our fallen Demigods. There was a specific section in it for those who had fallen during our last war. There were some names I knew back during my time in Camp-Mythos.

Among those graves, there was one that was separated from the rest. All of the other graves were nice enough, but this one had been smashed and had things done to it. The name on it was barely readable anymore, however I knew exactly who's it was.

Nanami.

Everything she said about us was true. We were more alike than we thought. We were both born from symbols of absolute evil and treated differently by everyone around us. However I had my friends to support me, she never had that.

Connor: "It's been... god... I don't even know how many years since I last saw you"

I knelt down and brushed some of the dirt off of her grave.

Connor: "I wonder what you're going through now... I know you didn't go to an afterlife of the four mythology, so... I hope you're happy where you are"

I clenched my fist, remembering how she was taken by The Destroyer and how helpless I was to save her. I regretted a lot in my life, failing to save her was one of the biggest.

Connor: "You were always better than me, smarter, stronger. Maybe if things were different, we could've been really good friends up to this day"

I looked up into the sky, remembering all of the pain and suffering she had endured just to create a world where everyone was happy. Even though only Demigods could live in the world...

That's when I suddenly heard a voice from behind me.

???: "What is on your mind, young Yukari~?"

I turned around and saw a humanoid creature with dark blue fur lining it's body. It wore tattered cloth all over its body. Its toes and fingers all had sharp claws at the end, which could easily cut us to ribbons. The most disturbing part about it was it's head. It looked like an animal head that was halfway into decaying. It was a skull, but it still had muscle and some skin on it. It had long golden horns on its head. In its eye sockets, were pale blue eyes that felt like they were staring into my soul. On its back, was a large staff carved into some weird symbol I knew was from ancient Egypt.

I went to summon my sword from my ring, however the figure held out his hand.

???: "Please, I have no interest in fighting you, Connor Yukari~"

I scowled at him.

???: "My, such a cruel facial expression~"

Connor: "Who are you? What do you want?"

???: "Right down right business, I've always admired that"

He held his arms out like he was presenting himself to me.

???: "The God of chaos and war, Seth, at your service"

Rage filled my veins and I started to emit a glowing red aura of pure chaos energy.

Seth: "Oh please, put that weak chaos away before you hurt yourself"

His own body started to emit an aura similar to mine, however it was pale blue in color compared to my blood red.

All of a sudden, the blue aura started to take over mine, making it disperse completely.

Seth: "Please, don't use chaos against the literal God of the energy"

My eyes glowed a bright yellow.

Connor: "For the last time, what do you want?!"

Seth: "To make a deal with you, of course~"

Connor: "To hell with any of your deals!! End the deal you made with Emiko before I send you to hell myself!!"

Seth: "Tsk tsk, I wouldn't be making any threats. After all, I could come to claim my end of the deal at any time"

He leaned close.

Seth: "The only reason your sister is still among the living is because I allow her to. So I'd watch your tongue around me"

I clenched my fist.

Connor: "What kind of deal?"

Seth: "I know where your little team of Demigods are. And I could tell you, for a price of course"

Connor: "What kind of price? If it's my soul, no deal"

Seth grinned.

Seth: "But of course! Your soul is worth much more than that. Especially with that Demon inside you~"

A small snake made of pure chaos energy formed on my shoulder. The snake had glowing yellow eyes, the same as mine. It was Apophis, my biological father and the Demon that was sealed inside me so many years ago.

Apophis spoke in a deep, raspy voice that emphasized the S in his words.

Apophis: "Seth, it's been far too long"

Seth: "That it has, my old enemy"

Connor: "You two know each other?!"

Seth: "We're both deities of chaos, so we obviously know each other"

Apophis: "However you always tired to claim my throne"

Seth: "And would you look at that, I have~"

He flicked the image of Apophis right off of my shoulder.

Seth: "Back to business, shall we?"

He looked deep into my eyes.

Seth: "All I want is some of your life essence"

Connor: "For what?"

Seth: "That's none of your concern, now is it?"

Connor: "What are you planning?"

Seth: "You'll find out soon enough. If you don't wish to know where they are, I can leave now. However they may not make it through the day~"

Connor: "What do you—?!"

Seth: "Nuh uh uh~ I'm not saying a word until we have reached an agreement"

I wanted to beat the curse right out of him, however I knew I couldn't fight a God with his own element. My only hope would be to alert the Gods or maybe some other Demigods. However none were close by and none of them would make it in time before Seth vanishes.

Seth: "Since you're having such a difficult time coming to a conclusion, I'll have to speed it up a bit~ You have 10 seconds before my offer disappears forever~"

I started to panic. This could be my only chance to go save them, could I really pass this up?

Connor: "F-Fine!! I accept!! J-Just tell me where they are!!"

He held out his hand.

Seth: "Shake to seal the deal"

I grabbed his hand.

Connor: "Now tell me where they are"

Seth: "They are in Tokyo, Japan, about to be hunted down by two of the more horrific creatures they could ever encounter there"

Connor: "Right, now back to hell with you"

I turned away when he grabbed my arm.

Seth: "Don't you remember my end of the deal~?"

Connor: "Fine, take whatever essence you need and piss off, I don't have time to deal with you"

Seth grinned.

Seth: "I think..."

His face appeared directly in front of me.

Seth: "I'LL TAKE IT ALL!!!!!!!"

Lucas

I hate my life...

All I ask is to get a good nights sleep and wake up normally. Lily had other ideas.

I woke up with her foot in my face. She was sitting on my chest, with her knees up against her chest. She was looking down at me, waiting for me to wake up.

I swatted her foot away.

Lucas: "Seriously?!"

Lily: "What?"

Lucas: "Get off of me!!"

Lily: "I thought a boy would like to have a girl on top of him in the morning"

Lucas: "I'm not even addressing that"

I pushed her off of me and slipped out of bed. I almost completely forgot we were in a love hotel. I looked over at the shower and saw it only had a glass door covering it.

Lucas: "Of course..."

I looked over at Lily.

Lucas: "Can you go check on everyone while I shower? I don't want you watching me"

Lily: "I'm not allowed to leave your side, so no"

Lucas: "Says who?"

Lily: "Me"

Lucas: "Well, I say go check on them"

Lily: "May I shower with you?"

Lucas: "No!!"

Lily: "But I heard you bathe with an elf"

My ears grew red.

Lucas: "Where did you hear that?!"

Lily: "Lucy told me"

Lucas: "I'm going to kill her..."

I ran my hand through my hair.

Lucas: "The elf is our house maid, and it's never my choice. The She Demon forces her way in"

Lily: "Then I shall do the same"

Lucas: "Gods..."

I sighed out of frustration.

Lucas: "Fine"

I walked over to the shower and opened the door to it. It was a single person shower, so this was going to be fun...

I ignored Lily and stripped. I turned my head to look at her and noticed she was staring at me, slightly drooling a little.

Lucas: "What are you looking at?"

Lily: "A-Abs"

I rolled my eyes.

Lucas: "Are you coming or not?"

She threw off her dress and floated inside with me. The second I saw her, I couldn't help but gasp.

Her entire torso was covered in scars. She had large scars on her back and smaller ones on the front. They were normally hidden because of her dress.

Lucas: "L-Lily, what the—"

Lily: "I... I don't want to talk about it..."

Lucas: So you do remember something"

She avoided eye contact with me.

Lily: "I got a memory last night... why do you think I touched the ground for the first time since we met...? B-Because... I needed someone..."

I was never the hugging type, but even I couldn't ignore this, I wasn't heartless. I wrapped my arms around her, ignoring the fact we were both naked.

Lucas: "I'm sorry..."

Lily: "For what?"

Lucas: "For what happened to you... I can't even begin to imagine"

She pressed her face against my chest and hugged me back. I could feel her tears run down my chest.

Lily: "I-I'm so scared..."

I rubbed the back of her head.

Lucas: "How about this, I'll cook something up for you after the shower, would that help you feel better?"

Lily: "Y-Yes"

Lucas: "Okay, I'll do that. Any requests?"

Lily: "Y-Your blood"

Lucas: "H-Huh?!"

She blushed.

Lily: "I... I forgot to mention this to you... but vampires need blood to survive. In my case... I need the blood from my Master. The blood from the steak a few nights ago has been able to sustain me. However... I'm getting weaker by the day. Using my powers against the demigod yesterday really wore me out"

She blushed slightly.

Lily: "S-So... m-may I...?"

I smiled a little.

Lucas: "You're such a handful"

I tilted my head to the side so my neck was exposed.

Lucas: "I won't turn into a vampire, right?"

Lily: "N-No, you shouldn't"

Lucas: "That's reassuring"

She tried to bite my neck, however she couldn't reach. I wrapped my arms around her waist and lifted her up a little. I could hear her yelp a little out of embarrassment, however I just avoided eye contact with her.

Lucas: "H-Hurry up, if you don't do it, I'll kick you out"

Lily: "O-Okay, this may sting a little"

I felt her hot breath on my neck as she sank her two vampire fangs into my neck. I rubbed the back of her head while she drank her fill.

Lucy

W-What did I just do?!?!

I woke up that morning, completely naked and sleeping next to a naked Yuna. Memories of last night flooded my brain and embarrassment overwhelmed me.

Everything we did... OMG!!!!!!

I looked over at her and saw she was just barely covered by the blankets. Part of me was happy to finally let these feelings out, but I didn't think they were that strong. It felt like they overpowered me last night.

I leaned over and gently shook Yuna's shoulder. She yawned and rolled over to face me. When she opened her eyes, her face filled with blush.

Yuna: "M-Morning, L-Lucy"

Lucy: "M-Morning"

We stared at each other awkwardly.

Yuna: "I-I'm sorry about last night"

Lucy: "N-No, it's okay. I-I definitely enjoyed it. B-But"

Yuna: "You don't know what comes next?"

Lucy: "Y-Yeah"

Yuna: "Me neither"

She held her blanket up to cover her chest.

Yuna: "I... I know last night was weird. But... a-are we actually dating? O-Or was it just in the heat of the moment"

I reached my hand out and locked my fingers into hers.

Lucy: "I-I want to try"

She smiled and leaned in, sharing a kiss with me.

Yuna: "Well, we can't go out there without a shower. Care to join~?"

I blushed but smirked.

Lucy: "Thought you'd never ask~"

The two of us got into the shower. Let's just say it was a fun time, if you know what I mean~

After we got done and were fully dressed, we met up with everyone else in the room Mia and Adrian were staying in. We decided on that before we headed out, we should come up with an idea on where we should go.

When we arrived, Lucas, Lily, and Terran were already there. Mia and Adrian were sitting on the bed while Lucas and Terran shared a couch with Lily floating next to Lucas.

Lucas: "Took you two long enough"

Mia: "I bet they were doing something naughty~"

Lucy: "We weren't, you jerk"

Yuna sent a small spark of electricity that shocked my butt. I flinched and yelped while she jus giggled.

Lucas: "Either get a room or cut it out, we have stuff to discuss"

Yuna and I sat on the floor.

Terran: "So what's the plan?"

Lucas: "Find the Demigod school. We were brought to Japan, meaning it should be somewhere close by"

Terran: "Maybe we should split up to cover more ground"

Lucy: "Are you crazy?! Have you seen any horror movies?! That's when we all get picked off one by one!"

Lucas: "We don't have much of a choice. We're actually a bigger target if we stay in this large group. We stick out enough as it is, splitting up will help us blend in a little"

Mia: "Then where should we look?"

Lucas: "Let's just start out with major monuments, the biggest one being Tokyo Tower. The Sensoji Temple would be the next most popular"

Adrian: "You think the school would be in such populated and busy places?"

Lucas: "Maybe, I'm just making guesses"

Mia: "Well, if we're gonna split up, what are the teams?"

Lucas: "We have an odd number, so Me, Lily, and Terran will go to Tokyo Tower. The rest of you will go to the Sensoji Temple"

Terran: "We have these rooms for a week, so if we don't find anything, we'll meet back here. If one team doesn't make it back, we'll know where it is. Stay alive at all costs. If you need to run away, do it"

We all agreed.

After Terran, Lily, and Lucas left for the Tokyo Tower, the rest of us went to find the Sensoji Temple. Thankfully, Yuna was able to talk to some of the locals and ask for directions. Turns out not a lot of people know where this is. We finally found someone who knew, however they looked at us strangely, which was expected.

While walking, I noticed Mia and Adrian were walking a little closer together than normal. Adrian would normally try to stay at least 3 feet away from her if we were walking in a group. However he was almost shoulder to shoulder with her now. Part of me wondered if it had anything to do with the bdsm room—

Yuna: "Hey, Lucy"

Lucy: "Yeah?"

Yuna: "What kind of benefits do I get now that I'm your girl—"

I clamped my hand over her mouth.

Lucy: "I-I don't want anyone to know yet"

She nodded but giggled.

Yuna: "Maybe a little blackmail would be interesting~"

Lucy: "W-What do you mean?"

Her voice suddenly changed into a more seductive tone.

Yuna: "You have to do everything I say or else I'll tell everyone your little secret~"

She winked at me, indicating she was joking. Without realizing it, I grabbed her hand and held it while we walked. I'm sure Mia noticed, but she didn't say anything.

Finally, we arrived at the temple

Something was a little off about this place. For such an important landmark, there was no one here. However I have to say, this temple was beautiful!!! I even took a picture of it with my phone, here it is.

It was early morning, so maybe that's why no one was here. But I didn't even see any workers around, maintaining the temple.

Mia: "This is a little creepy"

Lucy: "Does Lucas really think a Demigod school would be here?"

Adrian: "It makes sense, hiding a school where so many mortals are. They're hiding in plain sight. However... it is a little strange no one else is around. I don't even hear any animals"

Now that he mentioned it, there were no sounds of any animals or bugs. Not only that, there was no sounds from outside the temple walls. It was dead silent.

Yuna: "T-This is creepy, maybe we should—"

Suddenly, something large slammed down onto the roof of the temple. We heard a terrifying roar on top of the temple. We all looked up and I immediately wished I never went on this quest.

It was a warrior in all red Japanese armor. It had a demented face mask covering its whole face. Horns protruded from his mask and from the sides of its head. Its long black hair ran all the way down its body, touching the ground.
In his hand, was a large chainsaw, probably bigger than me.

It yelled down at us with a deep, threatening voice.

???: "You have come to die, Demigods!!!"

His chainsaw started revving up as the blade spun at high speeds. He held it with one hand as he leaped down and landed right in front of us. He looked down at us, however I couldn't see his face due to the mask. He was seriously tall, had to be at least 10 feet (3.05 meters) tall.

Mia stepped forward, her nails turning into razor sharp claws.

Mia: "What the hell are you?"

???: "I am the Red Oni, the fiercest demon in all of Japan!!"

He slammed his chainsaw into the ground, creating a massive crater where it landed.

Yuna: "An Oni?! Like a big brother?!"

Yuna gasped.

Yuna: "Can I call you Onii~Chan?!"

The Oni seemed distracted by this.

Red Oni: "W-What? No!! You cannot!!!"

Yuna: "What about Onee~San?"

Red Oni: "Not that either!!"

Yuna: "Nii~Chan?"

The Red Oni bellowed.

Red Oni: "ENOUGH!!!!"

Right as the Oni was distracted, Yuna formed her twin katana from lightning and fire, dashing towards the Oni. She swung both blades in an X motion, cutting right into the Oni's chest. She struck with enough force to send the Oni back a bit, however he kept his footing.

Red Oni: "There will be no mercy"

Faster than any of us could react, he sprinted towards us with incredible speed, swinging his chainsaw right down on Yuna. She managed to block with both swords, however the chainsaw blades hooked right onto the katana. It ripped the blades right out of Yuna's hands as the chainsaw continued its course.

Using my new wind powers, I launched myself towards Yuna, tackling her and just barely avoiding getting chopped into pieces.

That's when I realized I had her pinned down. Our... chests may have been touching....

Now is not the time for that!!!

I quickly got off of her as the Oni charged again. This time, Mia jumped onto its back and started punching and clawing away at the Oni's back. While she did this, Adrian held his hand out, forming a few shards of ice that hovered around him. He thrusted his hand out, sending the ice shards straight into the Oni. It bellowed in pain as Mia jumped off of him.

Yuna summoned her swords back into her hands. She then tossed the lightning katana at the Oni, and with literal lightning speed, piercing the Oni's skull. It fell to the ground, dead.

Yuna: "T-That could've been really bad"

Yuna leaned in and kissed me on the cheek.

Yuna: "Thanks for the save~"

I couldn't help but blush.

Mia: "Maybe Lucas's group had better luck, we shouldn't stick around here too long"

Suddenly, the body of the Oni started to glow. His body slowly levitated off of the ground, standing him up again. His eyes glowed blood red as he stared at us.

Oni: "You can't kill an Oni!!!!"

He swung his chainsaw in an arc motion, slamming right into Yuna's katana. However this had so much force that it sent Yuna flying back, straight into the wall of the temple. I looked back at her and saw she had been completely knocked out.

Lucy: "Yuna!!!!"

The Oni turned its attention to Adrian, who had impaled him with ice shards from behind. However the shards of ice did nothing now. The Oni charged at Adrian, swinging his chainsaw down at him. However, before the chainsaw could hit Adrian, Mia leaped in front of him. Her skin turned silver as she shapeshifted her skin to metal, however the chainsaw still cut her, slamming her into the ground with a massive gash across her chest.

All this, and I was just standing there, fear overcoming my body. Yuna and Mia were the strongest Demigods on the team, and they couldn't even do any lasting damage on him. What chance did I have?

Adrian fell to his knees, holding Mia in his arms. Her blood stained his hands. She was alive, but she didn't have much time. Adrian stared down at her, frozen in shock.

Suddenly, dark clouds started forming above us. The normal warm are that surrounded us had turned extremely cold. When I looked back over at Mia, her wound had been sealed with a layer of ice. A vortex of pure ice started to swirl around Adrian. He was slowly lifted off of the ground, most of his body going limp. However when he looked at the Oni, his one open eye was glowing a bright white.

Adrian spoke in an empty tone, without any emotion.

Adrian: "Die....."

Holy sh*t!!! I'm getting serious now!!!

This is where it gets serious. I know the past few chapters have been pretty uneventful. Well this is where the plot starts to actually come in XD
