My first thought was...

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!

My second thought was...

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I mean, come on, that would be anyone's reaction when they were flying at 100 mph (160 kph) with a demonic looking friend having a blade to their neck.

We finally crashed into the complete opposite side of the school's wall, leaving a small hole in the wall. Luckily, I'd managed to toss Skylar off of me before we crashed.

I was definitely sure I'd broken multiple ribs, and probably a lot of my back. However the injured areas became covered in chaos energy, mending them back to normal.

Connor: "Can't believe I'm saying this, but thanks, Apophis"

I'd managed to climb my way back up to the top of the wall, where I couldn't find Skylar at all. It was like she'd vanished. That's when I heard it.

Skylar: "DIIIIEEEEEE!!!!!!!!"

Right from underneath me, a hand broke through the ground and grabbed onto my ankle. I was then pulled through the ground and tossed back out of the wall, breaking the remainder of the wall with my back. I flew across the sky once again, however I was ready this time.

Connor: "Apophis! A little more help!!"

My body became overwhelmed with energy, enough to run multiple marathons.

Connor: "Mode Two!!"

My ring transformed into its spear form and formed in my hand.

I was flying towards the main building, which was much like a castle. I drove the spear into the wall, which helped me slow down and prevent my fall. I could see Skylar ready to leap towards me again. Before she could, I took the offensive. I summoned all the power I could, making my body become enveloped in chaos energy.

Connor: "Skylar!!!"

I pushed off the wall with all my strength, shooting straight towards Skylar. I thrusted my spear towards her, realizing she wasn't the same person I knew anymore. However right when I could've stabbed her, I looked into her eyes. She didn't look angry, in fact, I could see tears running down her face.

In the moment of hesitance, Skylar slammed her fist into my stomach, sending me flying up into the air. She appeared above me and slammed me back down with a back kick. I landed on the ground, barely being able to feel anything. However the chaos energy started to heal my body again, which was a literal life saver.

Connor: "She's... crying..."

I could hear Apophis in my head.

Apophis: "I thought it'd be quite obvious to you. She isn't in control of her body. Her mind and body are two separate entities at the moment"

Connor: "She's crazy strong, but that's why she can't use her mind. In exchange for raw power, she loses all control"

Apophis: "Correct, underneath that crazy act, she's probably in a state of pure grief. Oh the chaos this would've created~"

Connor: "How do we stop it?!"

Apophis; "The only way is for someone with greater power to subdue her. It should seal the power back inside"

Connor: "Cool, guess raw strength is my strategy"

I could hear Apophis chuckle a little.

Apophis: "Then may I give you my full power?"

Connor: "Go for it, we'll need every bit we can get!"

Suddenly, my skin turned red, with black scales forming along my arms and legs. The chaos energy surrounding me was so strong it was sending powerful gusts of wind in every direction. My spear had turned back into its ring form. A new fang sword was now in my hands, glowing a bright red.

Apophis: "This is called the Chaos Gate. You now possess nearly all of my power. It's the most I can give with the seal in tact. Use it well, and don't die. If you die, I die"

Connor: "Noted"

Skylar came plunging down towards me, ready to slice me open with her razor sharp glove claws. With all of my strength, I swung my blade upwards, ready to meet her attack. Her claws met my blade, however it wasn't even close to evenly matched. The second they collided, she was sent flying into the air.

I leaped up, meeting her mid air. I swung my sword, which she was just barely able to block. It sent her flying back into the wall, right on the top. She left a small crater where she landed.

For a second, I thought Skylar was gaining control over her body again. Her red eyes had shifted back to her original chocolate brown for a split second. It was working!!

Connor: "Skylar!! You can do it! Snap out of it!!"

I landed not too far away from her. Skylar managed one word.

Skylar: "H—H—Help—"

Her eyes went back to the blood red they were before. She rushed me again, however I knew what to do. I slammed the flat of the blade into her, stunning her for a second. I punched her in the stomach, making her stumble back.

Apophis: "I still don't understand why you don't just kill her"

Connor: "You saw her back in the Underworld, she can't be killed. Overpowering her is the only way. And even if I could kill her, if there's any way I can save her, I'm taking it"

Apophis; "Fine, do what you must. But don't forget, we still have Nanami to deal with, don't waste all the power you've been given just on this fight"

I spoke with heavy amounts of sarcasm.

Connor: "I know, Dad, you don't have to remind me"

I rushed in, attempting to get off of defense. I swung my sword a few times, however each strike was either blocked or parried by Skylar. We were nearly evenly matched, however as the fighting went on, I could feel myself getting stronger. As my blade started glowing red, I swung my sword with a powerful slash, sending a wave of chaos energy towards her. She managed to block it, but she took some damage too. Her sleeves were torn and she looked a little bruised up, not regenerating this time.

Connor: "Skylar! I know you can hear me! Snap out of it!!"

Skylar suddenly grabbed her head and started screaming. It was so loud that I'm sure every single monster in the world could've heard it. After the ringing stopped in my ears, I looked back up at Skylar. She had shrunk back to her normal size, however she still had the murderous look in her eyes.

Connor: "Okay, almost there—"

A sudden jolt of pain struck my body, almost paralyzing me. I fell to one knee, just barely being able to keep myself up.

Connor: "W-What's going on....?!"

Apophis: "Your body can't handle being in this state much longer, end this now!!"

I looked up at Skylar, who was crying through the rage.

Connor: "I know this isn't you...!! You don't want to do this!!"

Skylar spoke, however it was like she was gasping for air.

Skylar: "C-Can't.... S-Stop....—"

Connor: "You can! I know you can! You're strong, even without your demigod blood, one of the strongest people I've ever known! You can fight it!!"

I slowly started walking closer.

Connor: "Remember what I said all that time ago? Back when we were at the top of the hill in camp. Be who you want. Don't let others define you, don't let your emotions control you. I know what that's like, and it's not a path you want to go down"

I was about 5 feet away when she lunged at me, ready to cut me apart. Right as she dug her razor sharp claws into my right arm, I brought her into a hug. My arm felt like it was on fire, but I ignored it.

Skylar: "W-Why—?"

Connor: "I won't give up on you, no matter what you do. I know bad things have happened to you in the past, you're not alone. And you're right to feel angry and upset. But this isn't the way to make things better, it's only making it worse. Learn to control your rage, let it sink to the back of your mind. Don't let it control you"

I tightened the hug.

Connor: "I don't want to lose you... you've been one of the best friends I've known, even when I regained my memories, you were still my friend. And nothing will ever change that"

Skylar's skin and eyes started to turn back to normal. She looked down at my arm, which was covered in blood. She was too scared to move, so she started crying.

Skylar: "I...I'm sorry.... I-I'm so sorry...!!"

She fell to the ground, however I kept her in my arms. She cried into my shoulder while I continued to comfort her.

Connor: "It's okay, it's all over now"

I suddenly heard a somewhat distorted voice from behind me.

???: "Yes, it is over"

Before I got the chance to turn around, I was struck in my back. If I didn't have the Chaos Gate active, and my skin wasn't covered in very strong scales, I would've been dead. When I finally got to turn around, I saw what nightmare an old friend had become.

She had blood red hair and demonic red eyes. Her pupils were literal upside down crosses. Her skin was a dark grey and her katana was a blood curdling red. Horns were protruding from her head and black wings from her back as well. Nanami wasn't even close to human anymore, she was a pure demon.

Nanami: "It all comes down to this, after a month of tracking this school down, I finally found it"

She looked over at the defeated Skylar.

Nanami: "You did well, Skylar. You will be rewarded greatly for injuring Connor. Now, It'll be easier to subdue him"

Skylar actually looked afraid of her.

Skylar: "I... I didn't... I...."

Nanami: "Don't be so modest, you've done your job. Now stay back and let me finish this"

Nanami held her sword out towards me, pointing it right at my heart, like it was her main piercing target.

Nanami: "Last chance to surrender. I still have great respect for you, Connor. So you shall live, and anyone else you want to live will be spared. However you will stay by my side as my husband"

I somehow managed to get to my feet. I held my fang sword out with both hands on its handle.

Connor: "Why the hell do you want me to be your husband?!"

Nanami grinned.

Nanami: "We're the same, you and I. We both have fathers who are demons. They are also the reason our mothers are no longer alive..."

Her voice seemed to break while mentioning her mother, however she quickly regained her composure. Her voice went back to a cruel, but echoey voice.

Nanami: "We both struggle to prove ourselves, to show the world we aren't monsters. In the end, we do what's best for the world"

Connor: "Don't give me that crap!! You're not doing what's best for the world, you're destroying it!"

Nanami: "I'm destroying a world that has existed too long. Wars, plague, famine, all of these things could go away if you just join me!!"

Connor: "I already said no!!"

Nanami: "We're both demons!! Do you realize that?! The second this war is over, even if you win, do you think they'll accept a child of the Egyptian devil?! They've only put up with you since you're their biggest hope in winning this. But the second it's over, they'll try to kill you!!"

Connor: "You talk like it's personal experience"

Nanami's expression suddenly faded.

Nanami: "I'm not from this round of life, Yukari. I was part of the 6th generation, the one proceeding this one. Being a child of Satan... who would ever trust you?! Who would ever think you're worth something good! No one!! Not even my own Mother!! So when The Destroyer was ending my world, he offered me a deal. Help free him in this cycle, and I'll finally be a hero!! I'll be someone people can trust, can love!!"

Connor: "This isn't the way to do it! You're only proving them right!!"

Nanami: "I guess it was a waste of time, trying to make you understand. A pity"

Her black katana suddenly lit with hellfire.

I was about to charge at her when she gave me a final offer.

Nanami: "I could even bring your Mother back to life~"

I stopped dead in my tracks.

Connor: "You're... you're lying!!"

Nanami: "I never lie when it comes to the deceased. I could indeed bring her back to life. You, your mother and sister, you could all live a normal life, a life without loss, without worry. Just help me"

Nanami reached out her hand. My hand started to raise on its own. I was about to take her hand when her palm was suddenly pierced by an arrow. Nanami let out a scream of pain as the two of us looked up to see what shot the arrow.

Flying straight towards us, was Emiko, standing on top of a massive hawk. I could tell the hawk was Himari. Emiko had another arrow drawn, shooting it right for Nanami, however she slashed at it, sending a wave of hellfire to destroy it before it reached her. Emiko jumped off of Himari, landing a few feet away from me. Himari transformed right next to her.

Himari: "Looks like we made it just in time!"

Connor: "Glad to see you two are okay"

Emiko grinned.

Emiko: "Did you have any doubt?"

Connor: "A little"

Nanami literally growled at us, like a wild animal. Whatever she'd turned into, she was no longer human.

Nanami: "And the sister comes to save the day. This is great, now I can take care of both of you without having to search for the other!"

Nanami was about to charge us, however she couldn't lift her right leg. It was stuck to the ground. When she looked down, she saw a hand grabbing her ankle, right out of her own shadow. She was then tossed straight into the air. Out of the shadow, Angel formed. However her eyes were red from what I knew was crying.

I quickly ran over to her and wrapped my arms around her.

Connor: "I'm so glad you're okay..."

She buried her face into my shoulder.

Angel: "D-Deidamia's... S-she's... dead"

Connor: "It'll be okay, we'll give her and everyone else a proper burial. But for now, we have something bigger to take care of"

Nanami finally landed pretty far away from us. However she landed on her feet, almost like she'd never been tossed.

Nanami: "Honestly, I don't want to fight any of you. When I first heard the story of how you all defeated Apophis, it was the most amazing thing I've heard in my entire life. Especially Connor, the one who managed to seal Apophis inside his own body. But now I see there's no reasoning with you"

We all drew our weapons, ready to attack. However, Nanami's voice changed again. It sounded deeper, almost the deepest voice you could ever hear. The words boomed throughout the school, echoing over and over again. Nanami's eyes went pitch black.

Nanami: "It all comes down to this, demigods"

Emiko's eyes opened wide.

Emiko: "The Destroyer"

Nanami: "I knew you were a smart girl, Emiko. I'd personally want you on our side. Connor has the raw strength, but you have your intellectual prowess. You've been able to save your team time and time again"

Emiko didn't even hesitate to fire another arcane arrow at her. However Nanami simply caught it.

Nanami: "Demigods and their little toys, it never ceases to amuse me"

She crushed the arrow in her hand.

Nanami: "Out of all the runs of life, this is my favorite. 6 previous worlds have come before you, but none have been this exciting. I'm almost tempted to leave you be, but then I realize that making another could make it infinitely more exciting than this!"

She charged us with lightning speed, thrusting her sword like it was a rapier. However I managed to parry all of them before they could reach Emiko. Even though I could parry, she was too fast that I couldn't even go on the offensive.

Nanami: "When I win this war, I'll destroy everything you hold dear!!"

Nanami wasnt in control anymore, it was only The Destroyer.

Connor: "A little help!!"

Emiko fired an arrow right by my head, hitting Nanami in the shoulder. However it didn't seem to faze her. She just pulled it out and the wound closed itself up.

Angel: "Connor! Get back!"

I quickly turned around and saw a massive army of undead warriors rising from the ground. They were a mix of Greek and Roman soldiers. I jumped out of the way as the army of undead ran straight for Nanami.

In a wave of hellfire, they were all destroyed.

Emiko: "Crap! Any other ideas?!"

Nanami rushed me again, singling me out as her biggest threat. She used her transformation abilities to turn her arms into dragon arms. Remembering what happened last time, I dodged each strike instead of parrying. However, she suddenly stopped attacking.

Nanami: "Perhaps this is too easy for you....."

Her demon avatar started to form behind her, this time, made of pure hellfire.

Nanami: "This should be more interesting!!!"

I suddenly heard Apophis in my head.

Apophis: "Weaken the seal! You can only fight her with me!"

Connor: "Fine, but if you even think of escaping, I'll seal you again"

Apophis: "I just want this chaos poser out of this world, there's only one true chaos deity!!"

I focused hard, almost to the point where I forget everything else was around me. Then, I could see him, Apophis, floating around in my consciousness. Inside my very soul.

Then, the seal was weakened.

My body exploded with pure chaos energy, sending even Nanami flying back. The chaos energy formed a long serpent, sprouting from my upper back. The energy started to take solid shape, until it wasn't just energy anymore. It was Apophis himself, sprouting from my back. He glared down at Nanami, his snake tongue going in and out of his mouth.

Nanami grinned at me.

Nanami: "Guess this is how it will end for you. One last push"

Her body became engulfed in hellfire while mine grew a chaos energy aura.

Nanami: "From one demon to another, let's end this!!!!!!"
