Jimin sighs, throwing another one of the mushrooms into the void. A galaxy mix of green, purple and black with yellow specks surrounding them all around.
The purple grass tickles his bare hands and neck as he lays down with a sigh, noticing the familiar face bowing over him.
The dark purple-haired man smiles at him, the heart shape already making Jimin feel just a bit better.
"What are you moping around for?" Hoseok asks, landing right beside him. "We're supposed to be at the portal."
"I know..." Jimin mumbles. "But are you sure I'm ready for it?"
"Mom's explored Earth for generations before coming back home. The portal changes there but not here. One time it's in Epona, the other time in a cliff... It'll be a guess of where we'll land."
Jimin frowns. "I'm not ready..."
"You are, Jimin." Hoseok says, wrapping a hand around his shoulder, pulling the boy up. "I'm coming with you, so there is no need to worry."
"All we need is for those damn riders to just... let us go." Jimin mutters, picking another mushroom, about to throw away, when his horse takes it, happily chewing on it.
Hoseok chuckles at the sight. "You still kept Kampos after all."
"I could never leave him." Jimin says. "He's been with me since he was a little foal."
"I get what you mean." Hoseok smiles. "I could never leave Ayla for anything."
"Why did you name her Ayla, actually?"
"Have you seen her in action?!" Hoseok laughs. "She is a wild one I tell you! Wild and graceful."
The two laugh, talking a bit more as their horses graze happily on he mushrooms, berries and grass.
Strange colors were normal here in Pandoria. The place where both Jimin and Hoseok were born.
Brothers for life.
As though they don't look much like family, they are.
Hoseok is taller and a bit more lively, with dark purple hair and lilac purple eyes, that shine with the healthy glitter-like blush on his cheeks, something all Pandorians had when they're happy.
Jimin is shorter, but also younger, a bit more to the pessimistic side of things with lilac purple hair, nearing pink, and cotton candy pink eyes.
The two are opposites, but still love each other most.
And a thing they also share is their hatred for the riders.
It started with just a few people, who just started repopulating Pandoria. They adapted, and here are Jimin and Hoseok, trying to take revenge on the riders who put them in there for no reason.
"Hoseok, Jimin, are you ready?"
Both the brothers look up to their mother, calling out to them from their island.
Nodding and yelling back, both get up oh their horses and return home where they are escorted to the portal.
Both determined to end the questioning torture, the guards of their military gives them a nod, leaving them alone but to camouflage in the background.
Now it was waiting...
The reason for the rider's arrival today, was because they've captures one of them a few years ago and trapped him in a Pandorian crystal. They came to free him.
A few minutes of waiting and from a black twinkling hole forms a pink swirling pattern.
Out from the forming portal, rush four horses, on them being the soulriders that Hoseok hates so much.
The swirls begin to slow down and immediately, once the riders turned the corner, Jimin and Hoseok rush through the closing portal.
Gasps come from them both. They've landed in some sort of corrupted world. The gravity surrounding the path seems non-existant. Old pillars and symbols are floating around, stone and marble as well.
Slowly and carefully making their way to the other side, where they find a second portal glowing in green.
Looking at each other, Jimin is the first to go through, then Hoseok immediately.
A light blinds them as they land, cold chills running down their sensitive bodies. Looking around, everything is white.
Flakes of white frozen water are raining down on them, staining their bright colors in dullness.
Jimin can feel himself shivering, his horse also practically shaking on his hooves.
"Where are we?" Hoseok asks, his breathing increasing in speed, his lips almost turning blue.
"I d-don't know!" Jimin shakes. "It's c-cold..."
Hoseok nods, grabbing his brother's hand. "Come on... I don't like it here. Let's go down carefully."
Jimin nods as Hoseok leads him, the older resisting the cold, yet still giving it up for his little brother.
The mountain leads down to a large frozen lake, small islands bursting up and a massive skeleton laying in the middle of the ice.
Gasping, Jimin recognizes it.
Hoseok seems to as well, anger only rising within him. In silence, the two move, shivering over the entire lake of ice, shuddering on more snow until they come across a path of torches, following it to an old wooden elevator.
It looks unstable and dangly, but it's the only way up...
Gulping, the two brothers hold tightly to each other as Hoseok uses his free arm to pull at the rope, groaning at the heavy weight before the lever turns and the rope lets go, slowly and creaking in the chain-like movement.
The cold is becoming more windy when the wooden elevator ends at the top. Immediately the two brothers notice the slim way through a cliff wall of ice.
Jimin goes first, careful not to slip over the icy snow, before daylight breaks through to his eyes, and he gasps and the breath of warmth.
Hoseok quickly follows, sighing in relief of the heat that embraces him.
"Where is this place?" Jimin asks quietly.
Hoseok looks around. To the left of him the road ends, a cliff falling into a river with a waterfall from another big mountain. To his right is a road down the mountain they're on, leading into a village.
They look at each other, Jimin worried and almost shaking. Hoseok smiles at him.
"It's gonna be okay." He says softly. "Things may be suffocating here, and surprisingly bland, but we'll get to it. We managed to trap one of them, we can trap them all if we try."
Jimin nods quietly.
Slowly trotting down the mountain path, Jimin's nose crunches up at the smell.
Even Hoseok turns his head. For a moment, he flinches when even his horse breezes and takes a few steps back.
"Hyung! It smells!"
"I don't know what it is." Hoseok mutters, covering his nose. "It smells almost animalistic!"
Coming down, there are shops awaiting in the small village. A few houses here and there, shops, a stable across a bridge of the waterfall-ended lake.
And across near the barn to their side, seems to be a party.
Laughter, cheering, the smell of unknown foods and smoke. Almost charcoal-ish.
Hoseok huffs angrily, turning to them and dismounting his horse, pulling at the people from the crowd.
His eyes are blown wide. This strange thing is blowing smoke, slices of pink flesh grilling on top.
With anger running through his veins, Jimin quickly runs next to him, a gasp of his own leaving his lips.
"What is this...?"
"This animal has done nothing wrong."
"Mommy look! Those men are purple!"
Both Pandorians turn to the little girl, pointing and jumping at them. Jimin gives her a scowl as her mother turns to look.
Instead of excitement like her daughter, she lets out a shriek in fear.
Pulling the attention of others, they all either yell in fear or back away.
It's quickly become clear to both Pandorians that they are not welcome here.
Hoseok, quickly pulls his younger brother with him, back to their horses where he jump-mounts his mare, tugging harshly at the reins. His horse rears, having the men coming close gasp and back away.
Even the pupil-less pink eyes are terrifying to them.
Once Jimin has mounted, he looks at his brother. He knew humans were different from what they were, but... visually they weren't much different. They just had different eyes, different masculinity and different colors.
Hoseok, having learned his magic, takes a deep breath, his hands glowing with white, a flame setting in his eyes.
Why couldn't humans just leave them alone?
Only the thoughts increases his rising anger, his hands lighting up in fire, burning bright pink at the edges of the flames.
The humans back down in fear, but Hoseok doesn't miss the worried gaze of his younger brother. He knows Jimin is weaker in his magic than he is.
"What is this hate towards us?" Jimin whimpers softly.
"Their hate towards us is their mistake." Hoseok snaps angrily. "I'm done with them!" Flames erupt from his hands, as the humans once again try to get closer.
"Hyung-"
"They are always on our tail! What have we done?! We are individuals! Why are we locked up in there! We haven't done anything but live our lives!" Hoseok yells angrily. "We are just two brothers, Jimin... We have the consequences of what someone has done years ago! If we have been stuck in there, than we should turn things around!"
Jimin, looking down at his breezing stallion, frowns. He gets what Hoseok is saying. And he agrees.
"Show us your soulstone." Jimin demands.
The humans protest and shout, refusing to let two monsters take what's theirs. But when Jimin's eyes show stormy purple clouds, their mind suddenly thinks differently.
Everyone knows not to play with fire and lightning.
The little girl, who is already in tears, runs up to them.
"Please don't hurt my mommy!" She cries. "Please!"
"We can't promise anything." Jimin snarls. "We only want one thing."
Hoseok nods at his brother's words, when the mother comes up to grab her child, when Jimin grabs the girl's arms and lifts her up onto his horse.
"Give us what we are asking for, and your little girl will get out of our arms safely."
Hoseok smirks. "Refuse, and we might just have to take her back with us. You wouldn't want your daughter to learn our sides of the story, wouldn't you?"
The mother bursts into tears, the sudden sunny day seeming gloomy with Jimin's dark clouds and Hoseok's bright fire.
"Please! I'll do anything! Just give me my daughter!"
"The soulstone." Both the brothers yell at her. "Where is it?"
The crying woman points up at another road, going up on the mountain next to the one they descended from.
"If you go up on that road, you will find a circular path with five runes. Follow the path and a portal will take you to the entrance to your home... Just please give me my daughter back!" The woman cries.
Jimin and Hoseok look at each other, both scowling at the mother.
"We will hand her back once we know you have spoken the truth." Hoseok says, tugging at the reins and going up on the mountain path, Jimin following him closely.
The girl cries a lot, annoying them both, but it's all for their home.
Indeed there was a circular path with five runes. As spoken. Hoseok rides the trail, whilst Jimin keeps the child.
The crowd of humans behind them wait in fear. No one knows is the path works with Pandorians, since the pathway is meant to be only for the soulriders and to keep their kind out.
Smirking at the orange glow that begins to rise in the middle, Hoseok continues the path until the portal bursts open.
Jimin slides the little girl down and wastes no time to go through the portal with his older brother, as the child runs into her mother's arms and the portal sucks closed behind them.
°•●•°
Rearing, Hoseok and Jimin's horses panic at the unknown force.
The portal behind them has closed and indeed, before them, floats the broken rune with the Pandoric sign, sending magic signals to the giant portal at the edge.
The place they are at is a cliff with an iron gate behind them, shut closed with unbreakable magic.
They seem to be in some sort of old arena, with walls that look like the rows of seats, and a sign of the soulriders engraved in the middle.
There is an open gateway, leading to the edge, on that edge, having a plateau with the portal, which is almost on the verge of breaking apart.
Smirking, Hoseok dismounts, his fire long gone, and grabs the soulstone.
An electric shock hits his hands, yet it doesn't hurt. He only smiles as the bright purple portal sucks closed, leaving no way in or out.
No way in... or out...
"Hyung, how will we get home?" Jimin asks softly.
Hoseok, looking dumbfounded at the soulstone in his hands and the portal, shrugs.
"I... I haven't thought that far yet."
Jimin dismounts as well. "What if you go through first and I take the soulstone?"
"Than you would be stuck."
"What if... we throw the soulstone into the portal?"
"We'd either get stuck or lose it."
Jimin bites his lip. "Do you have a better idea?"
Shaking his head, Hoseok sighs. All solutions led to the same outcomes. Sadly.
"Let me see that..." Jimin mumbles, taking the soulstone from his brother.
Huffing when he gets it in his arms, he realizes the thing is heavier than he expected.
He sets it down for a moment, taking a good look at the inscription on eye-level.
Hoseok turned for a second to pay a little attention to his mare, who suddenly seemed more panicky than before.
That's when both of them heard the same erupting sound of magic as before.
Gasping, Jimin is pushed away by a pair of clattering hooves and a loud battle yell.
Hoseok pulls his brother away, scowling at the soulriders, who return them an equal glare.
He tries to call upon his magic, but fails to do so when all that comes from his hands is the weakest flame he's ever made.
"It's no use." The soulrider of the Moon says amused, pushing his glasses further up his nose.
"Magic doesn't work here." The soulrider of the Sky mutters.
Hoseok and Jimin both gasp at the unfamiliar face, who lifts his head behind the Moon soulrider.
The one locked up in Pandoria has been freed, but not unharmed.
The right side of his face has been tainted in Pandoric magic, crawling up in his veins up to his eye and hair, where highlights and streaks of pink and purple are showing, the veins lighting up in a neon magenta, with an eye, fully lit up in the same meganta-pink, with no pupil or iris.
Even his exposed hand has veins in magenta Pandoric energy, having been exposed to that side the most.
He doesn't look too happy with the two brothers.
"You two... I know you two..." He says hoarsely. His plump lips turn down into a hateful scowl. "You are the one who captured me." He spits angrily, pointing at Jimin. "And you are the one trapping me in that awful crystal!" He shouts, pointing at Hoseok.
Hoseok scowls at him. "I am proud to have done so!"
"You're merciless! How did you get out of Pandoria?!" The soulrider of the Stars yells.
Jimin whimpers in fear at their yelling, Hoseok pulling him closer into his embrace.
"We waited for you to come and save your companion. We escaped through the portal you left open. We have traveled through white, the skeleton of the Pandoric Rogue, through some Satanic ritual. We deserve some credit."
The soulrider of Lightning shrugs. "That is very impressive."
"Shut up Tae." The soulrider of the Sky grumbles.
Hoseok pulls Jimin even closer when the soulriders get off their horses, circling around them.
The soulrider of the Sun, the Pandoric infected, kneels down.
"What you have done to me is unforgivable. I come from a family of wealth and power. Once they see me with this, I will not be looked at with respect anymore."
"You should have stayed there." Jimin mutters. "Pink looks good on you."
"I know it does. Everything looks good on me."
A few groans of the soulriders have the Sun rider annoyed. Visibly as his eye starts to shimmer into a darker shade.
"Who are you anyway." The soulrider mutters. "You don't exactly look Pandoric."
Hoseok scoffs. "We are. And proud to be."
Jimin nods. "Home is home... It may not be as bland or as suffocating as here, but it's home."
Nodding, the Sun rider steps back. "What are your names?"
"What are yours?" Hoseok barks back.
The Sky soulrider grumbles a curse under his breath.
"My name is Seokjin." The Sun rider says, still scowling.
"Namjoon, it's a pleasure." The Moon rider says with a nod.
"Yoongi." The Sky rider mutters.
"Taehyung, and don't you think about escaping!" The Lightning rider snaps.
"Jungkook..." The quiet Star rider whispers.
Seokjin crosses his arms, waiting for the two brothers to say their names, when Jimin looks up at the riders in fear.
"They're going to kill us, hyung..." He whimpers.
"No, they're not." Hoseok snarls. "No one will hurt you."
"No promises..." Taehyung mutters, crossing his arms.
Hoseok growls at him when Jimin breaks free from his grasp, almost in tears. He grabs Seokjin by his pristine white collar, almost pushing him over.
"Why did you lock us in our home?! What have we ever done for you to invade our home and attack it but us not being able to go to yours to explore the world humans live in?! Have you thought of the children, families, animals... anything? Are we even alive to you?"
Hoseok pries Jimin's hands off of the soulrider, whose eyes suddenly fill with pity.
Hoseok pulls his crying brother back into his arms.
"We are alive beings just as you are. One of our kind, years ago, has done something stupid. That gives you no right to believe all of us are that way. We have our magic, but that is part of us, as are your magical abilities. You are heroes to your people because you are special, but because we are different we are locked up. You don't see us locking people up because they have a different eye color than us?"
"You just don't care..." Jimin sniffles.
Hoseok scowls at them. "Come on, Chim. Let's go home..."
Jimin nods, Hoseok helping him mount and then getting on himself, reaching the purple void when suddenly, a growling rumble erupts from the soulstone.
Seokjin's eyes widen, screaming for the Pandorians' names.
Just in time...
As the soulstone explodes into thousands of pieces and the portal sucks closed with an explosion of magic, sending both the brothers back with a blow, their horses landing back straight against the others, rearing in panic once they get up.
Coughing, Jimin looks up in tears. The portal has shattered into pieces, as well as the soulstone.
Hoseok, staring in disbelieve, growls in anger. The piece that they gave this trouble for has been destroyed, their only way of getting home, shattered.
The thought only brings a tear out of his own eye, the idea of not being able to go back sinks into him, clearly already sunken into his brother.
"What...?" Jungkook mumbles, shocked as he picks up one of the old soulstone pieces.
Namjoon takes it from him. "It's... broken. Lost its magic."
"Well, of course." Yoongi sighs. "This is one fragment of many. We were warned it couldn't handle many uses, we're lucky to even be here."
Hoseok is fuming, getting up on wobbly feet and lunging himself at the soulrider, who immediately steps back.
"You are lucky to be here. But I am not." He snaps. "I want to be with my family! I want to go home!"
Jimin, now in full tears, is staring at the destroyed portal, not daring to accept that there is no way back.
Seokjin comes to sit next to him and wraps a hand around his shoulder. Too sad to push it away, Jimin only sniffles.
"I know home was dear to you." Seokjin mumbles. "And I'm sorry for this."
"You discriminate us." Jimin mumbles. "You're filled with Pandoric magic and you still deny our culture. Yes, we captured you. How do you think it feels to be locked up?" He cries out.
Seokjin looks down with a sigh. "I don't like it. I never did. Like I said, I'm a boy grown with wealth and a silver spoon. Perhaps even a golden spoon--"
"Diamond spoon." Taehyung mutters, helping his horse up from the collapse.
Seokjin growls at him, a bit of Pandoric energy boiling up in him.
"Get a angry more often and you'll be full Pandorian. Than you'll have nothing to say." Jimin snaps.
Sighing again, Seokjin looks at the smaller boy. "Your home is not like ours. It is strange to us, but you have to admit that we are scary to your kind, and you are scary to ours. Especially with that weird gorilla monkey mutant dude..."
"Pandoric magic is not easy to master." Jimin says. "My brother does it well. He has been trained in the arts of fighting and magic, whereas I am educated in our history and experience. I can speak fluent human languages, whereas Hoseok cannot. He can kill someone with a headlock, and I cannot. The monster you saw was someone inexperienced with magic who had bad use for it. Magic is good on its own. You should never use it for your own advantage."
Seokjin nods. "I understand that. But still..."
"You don't get it." Jimin sobs. "That was home. I have a mom and a dad, I have friends and an education to complete. This was my exam..."
"Are your teachers the same as that thing?"
Jimin glares angrily at him. "Are you saying we are monsters like the mutant?"
"No, that's not--"
"All I want is to go home. I'm not even asking too much! I want to go back to Pandoria! This place sucks! It's cold and dull and everyone here is terrible! To believe I was interested in your kind, I am ashamed to once have been."
Seokjin looks at him, a flash of hurt spreading through his eyes. He gets where Jimin is coming from. He wouldn't want to be stuck in a place of bad memories either.
Jimin eventually pulls Seokjin's arm away, sniffling and wiping his tears, hugging his own knees.
Seokjin is about to say something when a hand pulls him away. Hoseok comes sitting between them, huffing at Seokjin, who sighs and moves away.
Taehyung crosses his arms when Yoongi loosens his jaw, punched by Hoseok almost a hundred times with a bleeding lip. Namjoon pushes his glasses up and Jungkook rubs his arms.
"Those two really get me mad." Taehyung growls in a whisper.
Yoongi glares at him and Hoseok, a barely visible tug at his lips. "He's got strength. Even without magic. That says something."
Jungkook nods. "You should never underestimate family, hyung."
"I am not doing that. I'm simply saying how he's protecting his brother over anything." Yoongi mutters.
"Their bond is indeed quite strong. It is almost like the one Akaide and Mei had, way before." Namjoon smiles. "Very interesting."
Seokjin looks at them. Their bodies hugged together. Refusing to open up for anyone else. Because that is all they know.
"They've lived in denial... neglected from our world for so long." Seokjin says softly. "I don't feel this is right. They should be able to explore our world, as well as we should explore theirs. A bit of both worlds."
"But what if they cause trouble?" Taehyung asks. "That taller guy seems like he's aggressive."
"Thanks, Captain Obvious." Yoongi snarls at him.
Shaking his head, Seokjin sighs. "They are so used to being trapped and alone. They have no other worlds to explore, no other people to meet. This is the only way they know us, and the only way we know them."
Namjoon looks at the brothers. "There is a good chance we can try, but I can't promise the good of a soulstone. Until they find a way to communicate with us, we're stuck here."
Yoongi groans. "Seriously? It was almost night too. I was anticipating my date with my bed tonight."
"Don't whine." Jungkook glares. "I promised my grandmother I would help her around the barn, to be well-rested for a long day of work."
"We all had things on our mind." Seokjin cuts in. "Face it, this will take a while. Rumors have probably spread about them and... I don't want them here. I want them to be able to go home and be happy. Maybe I'll come with. I want to know Pandoria the way they know it by heart."
Namjoon frowns but smiles. "I am curious too. I'm coming with."
"You two do what you do. I'm going to bed." Yoongi mutters, grabbing the blanket off his horse after huffing with the saddle and laying it down on the floor as a pillow.
"Kook?" Seokjin asks.
Jungkook shakes his head silently. "No thanks... I have work to do."
"Tae?"
Taehyung look at the brothers before shaking his head as well. "I just... I need time."
Seokjin nods quietly, understanding that the shock of Pandorians who knocked some sense into them is something to be processed.
Taking a look at the two brothers, Seokjin takes a seat at the edge, sighing at the purple fog and smoke that surrounds them.
He looks down at himself. His hand, tainted with Pandoric magic, the other, clean and smooth like it used to be.
He will never be fully human again. That, he knows. But than if his friends can still accept him, even with this swirl of magic within him, than why can't they accept the brothers?
A shuffle behind him has Seokjin looking back, noticing the lilac-haired Jimin taking a seat next to him with a sigh.
"Did your brother fall asleep?"
"He went to bother the Sky guy." Jimin mumbles, looking down at his dangly feet.
Seokjin looks back, noticing how Yoongi has sat up in annoyance at Hoseok, who keeps stealing the blanket pillow and running away.
Chuckling, both men turn to the foggy edge.
"Why do you want to come back with us?" Jimin asks silently. "You'll risk becoming Pandorian."
Seokjin smiles at him. "Because you're right. We assumed you all were the same because of one little thing. I was wrong to judge as soon as I did. I've lost part of my humanity either way. I won't belong in either worlds."
Jimin looks at his eye, nodding quietly. He is full Pandorian. He may have judged humans on their own, but not individually.
"Do you think Pandoria will be easy for me and Namjoon to live in?" Seokjin asks.
"Probably not. They'll stare at you and attack you. You should explain first why you're there and prove it."
"Than that is what I'll do."
Looking back, Seokjin chuckles at Namjoon, laying against his horse who is fast asleep, reading a book about ancient descriptions of Pandoria.
He always had an eye for it.
"He'll be fine." Jimin mutters. "Him and Hoseok will do great in the guards."
"Guards?"
"Hoseok is part of the guardians. Pandorians who have excellent magic control and know when and how to use it. I'm still weak in my magic... I was tought to be gentle with it, but..."
Jimin sighs, lifting his hand only to pop up a purple cloud with little electric shocks.
Seokjin grabs his hand, smiling at the younger. "You have nothing to worry about. In fact... I'd be happy if you'd take me to your family. Let me introduce myself and let me get to know them."
Jimin smiles softly. "I'd like that."
Flinching, both men look back to see Hoseok slamming his fists into Yoongi's chest, and the familiar explosion as the orange portal reappears.
Jungkook sits up with wide eyes, looking at Taehyung, who sighs in relief.
Namjoon simply raises his glasses and Yoongi quickly pushes Hoseok off of him with bright red cheeks, crossing his arms.
"Are you guys okay?!" An elderly woman asks, appearing through the portal.
She gasps at the two Pandorians and Seokjin's half-tainted face. It wasn't really a pretty sight.
Taehyung nods. "We're fine. Pandorians aren't as bad. We're still alive." He pats his horse, who jumps up.
"Let's go..." Jungkook mutters.
Yoongi nods as well, getting up with a groan. "Joon, Jin, you guys coming?"
The two men look at each other and then shake their heads.
"Keula, can you look if there is another soulstone laying around?" Namjoon asks. "Seokjin and I would like to explore Pandoria, on the request of these two."
The woman, Keula, looks a bit shocked, but then smiles and nods. "I'll come back soon. I know those two very well."
Confusion washes over the two brothers when Keula leaves, coming back after minutes with another fragment of the soulstone.
"What do you mean you know us?" Hoseok asks.
"Oh, your mother and I were very good friends." The elderly woman smiles. "She explored Earth too, you know? She was an adventurous woman. Tell her that you saw me, okay?"
Seokjin nods. "Will do, noona. Thank you."
The woman smiles. Both Taehyung and Jungkook leave without a turn back, but Yoongi takes one quick look back at Hoseok before going through as well.
With a deep sigh, Seokjin places the soulstone on the alter and immediately the portal lights up again. Thankfully the portal frame was not neccessary for it to work.
Smiling, Jimin and Hoseok mount their horses, as does Namjoon.
Seokjin just smiles and nods. "I'll be right behind you."
And Jimin returns a soft smile. This human might not be so bad after all.
°•●•°
Having been for a month now, things have changed. A lot.
Namjoon has stepped into Hoseok's training group for extra information and to experience every little thing.
There are significant changes within him and his horse, who has already been shedding some of his fox-coated fur.
Namjoon has been showing highlights of deep purple hair. Almost like Hoseok. His eyes have become lighter, showing a near sky turquoise mixed with his chocolate. Besides that, he had no need for his glasses anymore.
Hoseok could say he was proud for the newcomer in his group. It brought some facts and funny fails he never knew he would see.
Seokjin has been having a bit of trouble. The magic that has only been within for a while has started to show itself in the form of petals and wind from the palms of his hand.
Both of his eyes had started showing color instead of a full glowing eye. His hair almost fully pink.
But the time was yet to come for one of the biggest celebrations.
The Pandoric Spring.
Flowers would bloom and mushrooms would pop open their first trails. The entire place would be filled with festivity.
And both brothers were planning on taking someone.
Seokjin had already been introduced. Of course Jimin's parents were afraid at first and scared, but as soon as their old friend's name rolled off Seokjin's tongue, the mood loosened up.
Seokjin told them about his time in the crystal and on Earth, how he found Pandoria a wonderful place even though it has its weird habits.
Slowly, things got casual between them.
Namjoon, however, was too scared to meet Hoseok's parents. The Pandorian had high standards and didn't shy away to show it.
This was the first time that Namjoon has felt like he missed something. His knowledge wouldn't help him through this. He would need Hoseok's every move to keep him calm before his first bits of magic would spring.
Who knows what kind he wields when being trained by the fierce pyro?
It didn't take long before the joy spread, the whole day filled with events that both brothers enjoyed.
But Namjoon and Seokjin... they were nervous. What if they did something wrong? What if they hurt anyone?
Hoseok still misses Yoongi for a part. And a part of him wished the grumpy boy was there with them, but the knowledge-greedy Namjoon had been growing a liking on his brain.
Perhaps his big brain had something behind that childish, dimpled smile...
°•●•°
"Come on! Jin! Hurry up!"
"But what if I dress wrong? What if it doesn't match me?"
"You quite literally said to me when we first met that everything looks good on you. Don't whine and just put on that blouse I laid out for you!" Jimin yells.
Seokjin was nervous and it showed. The day had gone great, but the night is what it was about.
The magic shows. A firework show of different magical sources, binding together in harmony.
A beauty for the Pandoric people.
Seokjin peeks through the door, pouting when he finally dares to show himself to Jimin. His heart pounds in his chest at the younger's judgemental gaze.
He watches his plump lips curve up and form into a smile. "Perfect! Come on! Hobi and Namjoon must be waiting for us!"
"I didn't take that long did I?" Seokjin squeaks in panic.
"You took fifteen minutes to undress because you were scared to be in my room!"
"It's your room! Who knows if you have handsome celebrities here!"
"Of course we do!" Jimin whines, pulling Seokjin with him. "We have great music!"
With a huff, Seokjin crosses his arms. "I have good music tastes too..."
"I'm not saying you don't have any. I'm saying you should hurry!"
"I'm sorry okay!"
"Fine, fine! Just don't take that long. We can go shopping tomorrow and see if anything fits your hair."
"Finally..."
Jimin rolls his eyes and forces a blush off his cheeks. Too embarrassed about having to take him shopping.
I mean, the shirts they have are difficult compared to pull-over-the-head-shirts.
Waving to Namjoon and Hoseok, Jimin pulls Seokjin with him a bit faster, hoping that the older doesn't see his pink cheeks.
"What took you so long?" Hoseok whines.
"Seokjin took us long." Jimin mumbles, crossing his arms.
"I said I was sorry!"
Namjoon chuckles. "You never change, do you?"
Seokjin gasps. "What can you expect from me? To suddenly dress less? No. No, no, no, no. I must be presentable and outstanding at all times." He smirks.
"No need to try hard on that..." Jimin mumbles.
"What?"
"Nothing!"
Hoseok smirks, giving Jimin's side an elbow. The younger glares at him but pouts. He knows Hoseok knows how he feels and he knows Hoseok likes to tease him with it. But tonight was not a night for that.
"So... Shall we go?" Namjoon asks. "I'm very excited to see the magic."
"Not without us I hope."
Almost screaming at the familiar voice, Seokjin jumps into Jimin's arms.
A dark blue-haired boy stands there, hands in his pockets. His skin is pale with icy eyes, a lazy smile on his face.
Besides him are two others.
A boy with lilac purple hair, magenta eyes and crossed arms with an amused boxy smile.
And a boy with bright pink hair, who shies away a bit before smiling and waving.
Namjoon's eyes have widened, a smile curving on his lips. "How long have you been here?"
"Almost a month." Yoongi replies with a smile. "We couldn't get rid of you in our minds so we decided what bad could Pandoria do?"
"A lot." Taehyung mumbles.
Jungkook nods. But it's a happy nod with a bright smile.
Seokjin almost rushes into their arms, resisting the urge to punch them.
"How dare you not visit me! How. Dare. You!!"
"Hyung, we were discovering the new things." Jungkook says, grabbing his wrist. "I've discovered something of myself."
The smile in Jungkook's eyes has Seokjin smiling. Never has he seen the youngest so bright before. Both in pink-ness and smiles.
Embracing him in a hug, Seokjin welcomes him.
Taehyung huffs a bit but allows himself in the hug, pouting and whining about being left out.
Yoongi smirks at Hoseok's jaw-dropped stare, flicking his head. Hoseok whines and punches his shoulder in return.
"How dare you not notify me." Hoseok mumbles.
"Why? So you could be the boss of me in that little group of yours?" Yoongi scoffs. "I've been watching. Your way of teaching is rather harsh. I don't know if I'll fall asleep or be motivated."
Hoseok pouts. "It's not too harsh..."
"I have burn marks from you." Namjoon growls, crossing his arms. "I can't help it that I'm curious."
"You talked too much."
"I was asking curious questions."
"I will give you another one of my marks!" Hoseok snaps, his eyes flaring in fire.
Namjoon rolls his eyes. "Glad you guys came, but Seokjin is already late. The magic is about to begin!"
Seokjin parts, smiling as he grabs Jimin's hand. "Let's go!"
Hoseok trots behind them, still baffled that Yoongi is actually here. On their Pandoric Spring. And already halfway to being one of their own.
His hair is still partly rooted with black, but it still fits his Pandorian locks so nicely it almost looks natural.
By the time they had gathered there was already a crowd of Pandorians, some still a bit scary to Seokjin.
But he understood now. Pandoria was not scary or weird. It was the world where everyone was accepted and treated equally. Something humans can learn from.
Seokjin holds Jimin's hand tightly, looking up at the sky. It's dark and pretty. Just like himself.
Jimin looks down a bit, feeling at his cheeks.
Hoseok wraps an arm around his shoulder. "Just tell him. It's a great night. Make a move."
"Hyung, he has no idea what this night means."
"Than show him, Chim." Hoseok whispers. "You know what this night is meant for. It's the most romantic night of the year."
Jimin nods shyly. He looks up at all the couples and married pairs, feeling a sting of jealousy when Seokjin doesn't pay a second of attention to him.
He tightens his grip in their intertwined hands, Seokjin looking down at him.
He smiles. "You nervous?"
"Something like that..." Jimin mumbles.
"It's my first time, I should be more nervous."
"Your kind of nervous is not mine."
"How so?"
Jimin sighs deeply and pulls Seokjin down by his collar, shocking the older for a second as Jimin's pillow lips are pressed against his own.
The magic bursts in the air as their lips touch, almost fateful on time as Hoseok grins proudly at his brother.
They part, slowly staring at each other.
Jimin looks down again, mumbling an apology as he lets go. But Seokjin grabs his waist and pulls him closer, wasting not a single second to smash their lips again, molding together.
Jimin squeaks, but gives in immediately. His muscles fail to hold him in the moment as Seokjin holds him up, magic bursting and erupting like fireworks.
They reflect in their eyes, Jimin's big and full of shock. Anticipation for words.
Seokjin's hooded, awaiting the prescense of his warmth. A sign of being wronged.
But neither give any.
"If you stare any longer you'll miss the magic..." Jimin says softly.
Seokjin lifts his head, smiling kindly at him. "There's always next year." He mutters, before pressing their lips together again.
One might say it would become a habit.
Hoseok grins, proud of himself and his brother as he turns to look up at the different types of colored lightning, wind, fire, water, and many more.
"So, aren't you happy that I'm back?" Yoongi grins. "I'm getting stronger. Sooner or later I'll get you to your knees."
Hoseok scoffs. "I am happy. Now that I know I will put you on the list of my trainees. Lessons start tomorrow at 4 in the morning, precisely. Not one second later."
"What?!"
"I'd listen." Namjoon mumbles. "I got a bad burn from him for being there one minute too late."
Yoongi gulps nervously at his words, nodding. Perhaps Hoseok was someone you really shouldn't mess with in Pandoria...
And the two youngest? They decided to have fun and explore, being still able to enjoy their freedom before their magic would appear.
And bless Namjoon if his was anything non-destructive.
