They always told him never to look for what's hidden in the deep. They always told him it isn't safe. But who could stop the boy from figuring out himself why he wasn't allowed when no one else would tell him?

The late night at the ship was one that Jungkook hates. Parties. A party to celebrate their return to Busan.

Jungkook holds his cup, swaying a little bit. He's tipsy, not yet fully drunk.

He leans over the edge of the ship, dying over the ocean from the loud noises in the back.

The water is calm tonight. A mixture of enchanting purples, turquoise, blues, blacks, and stars filter the water, with a bright full moon above it.

The scent of the sea gives Jungkook a bit of a smile. He looks down, smiling a little at the bright scenery.

He reaches out slightly, wanting to feel the cold water from the ship. He can't reach it.

But something grabs his hand.

He gasps at the cold sensation, nothing to be seen, but water dripping down from his fingers when he pulls it back up.

When he looks back down, he sees a shadow roaming under the lake. A long, slim, circling shadow.

Jungkook frowns, leaning further to look at it better, but he squeaks when a hand lays itself on his shoulder.

The shadow dives back down, disappearing from Jungkook's view.

It must've been a fish.

"How're you doing Kook? Holdin' up?"

Jungkook looks up at his captain. "Doing fine... Little tipsy is all."

Taehyung smiles brightly. "You know, you've been staring down there for a while. You saw anything?"

Jungkook sighs, thinking back to the circling creature and the wet drops on his hands.

"I know you want to go down there."

Jungkook looks back into the sea.

"Feel the water against your skin. You've always felt connected to it. Haven't you, Jungkook?"

The younger nods.

"Than let me help you..."

Taehyung's fingers trickle up to Jungkook's shoulder, before pushing him over the edge.

Jungkook only realizes what happened when he feels water splash around him, his body feeling heavy under the pressure.

The people above him are vague...

He screams, but his voice is muffles by the water, his body feeling as if it's pulled down by rocks of weight when he tries to swim up.

He kicks and screams for help.

He tries to at least...

For his individual legs, feel as if they've been sewed together. Molded as one.

His legs feel heavy, water filling Jungkook's lungs.

With a last choke of breath, he begs for help, before his body sinks into the ocean dept.

"Do you think he'll survive?"

"Do you not trust my magic?"

"I do, I'm just saying. Human or not, this body is not used to a tail as ours. Especially not this environment."

"Do not doubt me. I warn you this once. You know of my secret and my brother. You know of my origins. Do not betray me again, or I will have your head."

There is a long pause.

"Very well. I shall guide him. But I ask for what I need in return. Your human is valuable to me and my family. Especially his blood."

"But of course. A deal is a deal, is it not? Let us taste victory before we shall continue our ritual. We shall succeed."

"I'll hold you to that."

°•●•°

Jungkook groans lightly. His voice is hoarse, his vision is blurred, his body feels tense.

He feels wet all around.

"Oh! You're awake!"

Jungkook immediately sits up at the unfamiliar voice and turns around to look.

He scoots back against a rough wall, squeaking at the feeling when he looks to see it's rock.

A sweet man comes towards him, an aqua blue tail with beautiful pastel tints and gradient scales all around his fish tail.

Jungkook is momentarily mesmerized by its beauty. There are shiny in-skin scales on the man's shoulder and in his neck are skin folds, opening and closing ever so gently.

His chest is covered with pearl accessories, shells and little fossils.

There is a big fin at the end of the fish tail, petal shaped, elegantly moving on its own as it flexibly flows within the water.

His face is sharp, yet soft at the same time. Blonde wavy hair waves around in the water as he moves towards Jungkook, his beautiful sparkling eyes showing a passion.

"Are you feeling alright? What's your name?" The man asks.

Jungkook's eyes nervously scan over him before he notices the oddly shaped object in his hand.

Catching onto his gaze, the man pulls the object into sight.

Immediately Jungkook moves to the other side of the room, his chest heaving in panic.

I'm gonna die!
I'm gonna die!
I'm gonna die!

"No, no, no!" The boy screams in worry. "I'm not going to hurt you! I'm here to rescale you!"

Jungkook shakes, his entire body trembling, not able to stop.

"Oh... Did I scare you that much? You're all upset..."

Jungkook feels the man tug at his arm, but Jungkook shakes his head violently with a sniffle.

"It won't hurt, I promise. I'm not here to hurt you..."

The more Jungkook looks at him, slowly, he starts to feel calmer.

He hesitantly drags himself back to the soft bed.

Only then, he notices his own lower half.

Another scream erupts from him, scaring the merman.

He has his own fish tail. It's long, slim, covered in scales. His fin is sharp, flowy yet firm. His scales are dusty, rough with a bronze-like coat over the deep crimson it's supposed to be.

"What's wrong?" The merman asks. "Did I do something wrong?"

Jungkook's chest heaves, his hands reaching for his neck where he feels three gills on either side, webs between his hands.

He looks back at the merman, slowly reaching for his webbed ears and his elbows.

"Why are you touching that? Don't! If you rip it, it can't heal!"

"W-who are you?!" Jungkook manages to growl.

His claws are clenched, his body is in full defense.

"My name is Jimin." The merman says softly. "I've been aiding you since we found you. You had some bad scars, thus now that you're awake, I'll be able to rescale you.

"Found me where?" Jungkook snarls. "I don't know you! You're a fish! A talking one for that fact!"

"A... talking fish?"

Jungkook nods quietly. "You... live underwater... You're a myth! I'm just in a coma... This can't be real..."

The more he starts to talk, the worse he's beginning the breathe, faster and more panicked, he gulps, his throat being tight and locked.

"Calm down! Calm down!" Jimin says quickly, caressing his shoulders with a sweet smile. "Whatever happened to you must've taken it's toll. Tell me everything, and I'll promise you, it won't hurt."

Jungkook gulps, slowly laying back down. He flinches when Jimin holds the bridge of his tail, feeling extremely uncomfortable when he feels part of Jimin's hand on his skin and half on his scales.

Jimin gently sets the knife against his tail, the sharp edge going against the scales.

"What's your name? Where are you from?"

Jungkook flinches again when Jimin moves the blade under the top layer of his scales, watching as they come loose with a light tug, fluttering besides him.

It reveals a fresh, shining, almost slimy new coat of scales.

"I'm... I'm Jungkook... I'm from Busan."

"Isn't that... up there?" Jimin asks, looking up at him, a little wary.

Jungkook nods. "I... I'm human. Your kind is only a myth to us. I... I never knew... I never wished...--"

"You're human? And... you're here...? Under us...? Merfolk..."

Jimin swims a little closer to his face, examining him. His face doesn't show anything human-like. It's flawless, enchantingly beautiful, with eyes that sparkle like a merman's.

But this man seems too panicked not to tell the truth.

Jimin hesitantly leans back down and continues to help Jungkook rescale.

"Then how did you get here? Like this?"

Jungkook shrugs. "I... I don't really remember it all. I think I was drunk. I remember falling and not being able to go back up. I woke up here."

Nodding, Jimin smiles at him. "Don't worry. We'll get you home. There is a merman near our cave who knows magic more powerful than any of us, maybe he can help."

Jungkook looks at him with big eyes. "Really?"

"Surely." Jimin smiles.

°•●•°

That night, both mermen exit the cave to look for the mysterious merman who could help them.

Jungkook feels weird. Although he feels normal when swimming, he isn't used to feeling the water when it moves.

It takes a while, maybe an hour, before Jimin finally yells out the name and a sharp fin is just disappearing into the dept.

"Namjoon! Wait!"

Jungkook stares into the darkness, hoping for the merman to return. To his happiness, he does.

A deep enchanting purple tail glows a little in the dark as the merman reappears with a smile.

"Jimin. What brings you my help?" Namjoon asks kindly, smiling at Jungkook.

"Do you know if there is a way to take him home?" Jimin asks.

"Where home?"

"On land."

Namjoon frowns a little. "But, he's a merman, is he not?"

Jungkook shrugs. "I may be now, but before I woke up, I was pushed off the ship and got dragged down by the water."

Namjoon sets his hand against his chin, thinking a little. His tail flicks, a little annoyed.

"I honestly don't think there is." He says after a minute, shaking his head. "Perhaps he can do something--"

"We are not taking him to that monster!" Jimin snaps.

"Do we have an option if he really wants to go home?" Namjoon barks back.

Jimin stays quiet, but continues to glare at him.

"Turning a merman human is one thing." Namjoon sighs. "Turning a human into a merman and returning him to the human world without damaging his legs or organs is another thing."

"Something can go wrong with my legs?" Jungkook asks, eyes widening in fear.

Namjoon nods. "In our tail are all kinds of things. A few bones, little holes between our scales that allow us to rescale easier. Don't bother to look for them. Organs that help our tail grow and keep it clean and healthy. You, as a human, must surely have seen the difference between a fish tail and a merman's tail."

Jungkook shakes his head. "No. My hyung works with the fish, I'm in charge of navigation."

"Oh? You were on a ship?"

"Yeah. We went course to the West, hoping to find some rare islands for our spices."

Namjoon smiles. "Underwater we also have spices. You can take them with you once we get you home safe and sound."

Jungkook returns a bright smile whilst Jimin crosses his arms.

"I still refuse to hand him to that monster." Jimin snarls. "He's been going up to the surface a lot lately. Something tells me this isn't right."

"I'm sure he fed already." Namjoon says softly. "I've seen him around a lot though. Maybe he could sense that something was wrong? Sirens have even better senses than we do."

"That still does not give him the permission and consent to eat our people. Nor does it give him an excuse to lure the humans into his slippery grasp!"

Namjoon swims a little forward, facing the smaller merman with a sharp glare.

"Do you want him to go home, or not?" He growls. "Because this place is dangerous for a human. Especially one like him. He has no experience, no rules, no limits to exploring what goes deeper. Bringing him to Seokjin for help is the only thing we can do!"

"DON'T SAY HIS NAME!!"

"But why?" Jungkook asks.

He looks around a bit, but Namjoon only gives him a smile. No, not him. But something behind him.

"My, my. What a lovely pair we have."

Jungkook freezes at the unknown voice, whilst Jimin screams at it and immediately goes to hide behind Namjoon.

Jungkook feels a sharp nail going down his throat, a shiver running down his spine.

"You surely aren't a pure blood." The voice chuckles. "No... You smell different. You smell... sweeter."

"Seokjin... You must've overheard." Namjoon smiles.

"Don't play dumb." The siren growls. "You've been around me quite a lot today, Namjoon."

"WHAT?!"

Jimin immediately screams and shoots away, trying to pull Jungkook with.

But he moves even further when he notices the toothy smirk on Seokjin's lips, revealing sharp fangs.

"You've outdone yourself. This is the fastest you've ever brought me a meal. In fact, I believe there is one for each of us."

"Oh, but surely you must've noticed, Jimin." Namjoon chuckles darkly. "Do you really think I had magic because of my hard work? Why else do I come to help your disgusting kind?!" He yells.

Jimin's eyes are big in fear, begging for Jungkook to swim as fast as he can, but the younger can't.

He can't move an inch with the siren touching him. Curious touches, soft, gentle, yet sharp and wounding.

"So you want to go home?" Seokjin grins. "Too bad."

Jungkook shivers when a long, slim tail wraps around his own. It feels warm.

"A way for a merman to touch the land is dangerous. It can even kill you. But... I suppose, there is one, very simple, life changing way."

"What is that?" Jungkook asks breathlessly.

He feels the siren's tail slide back like a snake, the fin sharply avoiding his own.

The siren swims up in front of him, giving the merman a good look at him.

Jungkook's jaw drops. Mesmerizing full pink eyes with purple sparkling iris'. He has sharp claws, black nails prepared to rip him to shreds.

His tail is long and slim, with a fin that looks like it's ripped up. It almost looks ghostly.

There are scales missing, scars all around, even on his muscular chest and arms.

There is no way this siren hasn't fought for his life.

His hands are webbed, the same as Jungkook's own, scales surrounding the bottom of his arms at his wrists, little pink spots on his fingers and knuckles.

It looks like a gem-like disease.

His plump lips are parted, revealing sharp teeth. They're pearly white, yet the tips are tainted and stained with blood.

His brown locks of hair wave around in the water like magic, his smirk taunting the merman.

"My, my..." The siren grins. "What a pretty boy..."

"YOU DO NOT TOUCH HIM!!" Jimin shrieks.

Namjoon grows at him. "Shut up. Or I'll eat you sooner than you can scream."

Jimin whimpers. "P-please..."

Namjoon grabs his arm tightly, growling deeply at him. "Your constant begging amuses me. Perhaps you should start begging for your own life."

Jimin bites his lip. He can't imagine Namjoon as a siren... The merman who had always been so nice to him. Who had covered him for his oh-so-risky expeditions.

But here he was. Held much too tightly by the merman... now belonging with the siren race.

"Oh, Namjoon." Seokjin sighs. "He's so elegant! Look at him!"

Namjoon growls at the other siren before turning his head.

"Acceptable." He snarls. "He has a cute face. A baby face."

Jungkook glares at him. "I do not!"

"I can see what he means." Seokjin pouts, grabbing his jaw with his claws. "Such full cheeks! So soft! I can't wait to eat you up and feed your remains to my pets!"

Jungkook's eyes widen in fear and he moves a little back, but Seokjin grabs his wrist tightly.

"If you even dare to escape me." He chuckles. "I'll have your head."

Namjoon scoffs a little. "You really do live in the old. You told Yoongi the same thing last night."

"Have you seen my head collection?" Seokjin sneers at him. "Yours would do great there as well. I'm an all-eater, after all."

Namjoon chuckles. "I've seen it. You've gone out a lot more recently. You could probably save a few legs too."

"I could..." Seokjin pouts, thinking deeply. "Or fins. Many merfolk find their way into my lair. After all, my voice is just irresistible."

Jungkook snorts a bit, laughing softly.

Both sirens turn to him, angry glares aimed towards him.

"Is something funny?" Seokjin growls, baring his sharp teeth.

"I think he's mocking us." Namjoon hisses.

Jungkook smiles a little at them. "You do know that your bickering makes you less scary?"

Namjoon and Seokjin scowl at him, both baring their fangs. Namjoon tightens his grip around Jimin's arm, his nails digging into his skin.

The merman screams at the blood flowing up, noticing a slight purple tint going with it.

Seokjin huffs a little, circling around Jungkook's body, who follows him with his eyes.

He must admit, seeing Seokjin staring at him with hunger has him slightly afraid. He does want to go home.

"Do you think you're funny?" Seokjin hisses. "Do you think you can mock us?!"

Jungkook scoffs a little, grabbing the siren by the cloak around his waist and pulls him closer.

"I dare to mock you because I know you envy me." He growls. "You envy my life above on the land and my mix in the water. I know my ways and this water is no different. I can easily find your lair and escape it in a route you have never found of which I did a day to explore. You are lonely. Dependent on your circling friend to lure merfolk so you can try to be normal. But let's be honest--"

Seokjin growls at him before Jungkook can finish and grabs the merman's waist, tugging him underneath and using his fin to slam the man down into the dept.

Glaring at Namjoon, Seokjin hisses. "You can have that one. This one is mine."

"Hyung,--"

"WHAT?!"

Namjoon lowers his head slightly to the red-tailed, who is still spinning in the darkness from the force.

"He's right. We won't have to be lonely."

"We are not."

"We can show them our worlds." Namjoon smirks. "Our species is going extinct, we can make more! We can save a few days of food. He must know our torture. Just... give it a thought."

Seokjin growls, but gives him a single nod before diving behind Jungkook, grabbing the man's wrist and pulling the still dizzy merman with him.

To his lair.

The pressure becomes heavy, Jungkook's head feeling dizzier and in pain the deeper they go.

Eventually the pressure evens out, giving Jungkook a moment to breathe and get rid of the nauseating feeling in his stomach.

He finally manages to fix his posture and hesitantly starts swimming with Seokjin instead of resisting.

It's dark, almost too dark. It's cold...

"Try not to look around too much." Seokjin growls quietly. "These sharks enjoy mermen like you. They've taken my prey multiple times."

"S-sharks? This deep?" Jungkook gulps.

"Most of the humans haven't discovered these. The ones who did didn't get to see the light to tell anyone."

"What kind of sharks are they?"

"I don't know." Seokjin shrugs. "I never talk to them."

"Isn't that... a little sad? And also the reason why you're lonely?"

Seokjin's glowing eyes snap to Jungkook with an angry glare. "I am not lonely!"

"You can't deny it." Jungkook growls. "Listen to me. A siren in my book is just another fish species as I am right now. We're different, you may eat merfolk, but I won't lie to you. I want to help you--"

"You can't help me. I don't need help."

"Just listen..." Jungkook sighs, tugging at his arm. "You say sirens are dangerous to us. That may be true, but I'll still try to help. If I notice you're lonely, will you at least talk to me about it?"

Seokjin huffs and shakes his head. "You're delusional."

"You are... You're trying to deny my words but you know it's true!"

"Now you listen!" Seokjin snaps, pulling Jungkook closer, tightly holding onto his arms. "You are no one to assume my life! You are my food! Stop trying to help me!"

Jungkook only gives him a soft smile.

Seokjin bares his sharp teeth and huffs, dragging him further down before a dim light of coral becomes visible.

Seokjin enters the cave against it and nudges for Jungkook to get in.

"Here live the devil sharks."

"Why do you know their names?"

"They have horns and eat everything."

Immediately Jungkook rushes inside before his eyes catch a glimpse of a large long shark tail swiping by.

"Yeah. You're never getting out of here." Seokjin chuckles. "Not unless you have my speed and agility. Which I doubt a merman like you can develop, although sirens aren't a prey to them."

"I want to go home..."

"Like I said, that isn't possible."

Jungkook sighs sadly, his straight posture immediately slacking into hopelessness.

Seokjin's gaze softens for a slight moment before his scowl returns.

He knows this shouldn't have been. His brother chose the wrong victim and he told him so. Although, he can't help but feel sorry.

Jungkook was innocent. He never wished for his life to be like this. But there is nothing he can do about it.

It's a shame, really. To have such a handsome young merman be the victim of a siren like him.

But at least he won't be alone. He has Namjoon after all...

For a few days...

Who's he kidding? He's lonely. He's scared to socialize with the fish and sharks and is incredibly shy to do so although his extreme looks.

Looking back at the merman, Seokjin sighs softly.

"My brother made a mistake." He tells him. "He was supposed to bring another human. Hoseok. A sorcerer of great danger to me. He probably mistook you for it and noticed your want for my world. You being here is an accident."

At that, Jungkook's eyes widen. He grits his teeth, clenching his fists and scowling back at him. His tail flicks in annoyance as he tenses up, his anger rising until it's boiling to release.

"This... was not my fate?"

"No."

"I was not meant to meet you?"

"No."

"Your brother... A stupid half-breed... MISTOOK ME FOR A SORCERER?!!"

Seokjin flinches a little at his outburst before nodding. "I'm sorry."

Jungkook growls before lunging forward, his tail cutting the water like a knife as his hands grab Seokjin by his shoulders and pushes him back against the rocks.

"I do not appreciate those choices. Either you make this right, or you help me to punish your moron brother."

Seokjin frowns a little. "Mermen don't have it in them to severely punish someone."

"But you can fix that." Jungkook growls. "How else do you make sirens?! It's clear there is no reproduction! There must be a way."

"So... you're saying that if you can't become human anymore... you'd rather become a siren?"

Jungkook scowls at him. "Are you stupid? That's what I'm saying isn't it?!"

Seokjin looks stunned for a moment, staring at him with wide eyes.

"You realize that there is no way back if you continue your revenge plan? A siren is a siren."

Jungkook's lips twitch into a grin. "Than I'll just join you. You won't be lonely anymore then."

"I am not--"

"Shut up." Jungkook snarls. "You're lying to yourself! Stop denying it and do whatever you have to do."

"You're sure?"

"Do I sound like I'm joking?"

With a slight smirk, Seokjin shakes his head. "No."

Seokjin grabs Jungkook's shoulders in return and pushes him back a little.

"Than so be it."

Seokjin bares his teeth, sinking them sharply into Jungkook's neck, drawing drops of blood, including a light hint of glowing pink venom.

Jungkook grits his teeth, tightly clamping onto Seokjin's body before he can feel his neck start to hurt.

"The water won't do." Seokjin huffs. "It's too strong, circling here."

Jungkook looks around for a moment before he looks at the entrance. "What if we do it outside? The water won't circle as much as in here if the sharks keep it in place."

Seokjin follows his gaze before nodding. "Clever." He grins. "You'll do good as a siren."

"I'm not here to do good." Jungkook growls.

"I never expected you to."

Seokjin chuckles as he nudges Jungkook's tail with his own, swimming out.

Jungkook follows without hesitation, flinching a little when he notices a fin passing him.

"Don't be scared of them." Seokjin says softly. "They've stolen my preys, but they sense me. I sense them. It's a thing about this mysterious dept. They can feel you and smell you. Even my aura over you must give them at least some idea."

"I don't believe you somehow."

"That's your choice."

Seokjin growls a little, pulling Jungkook close again and sinking his teeth into the wound in his neck.

There is still venom going up, but less. Jungkook can feel it this time. Entering his veins like little tentacles, sucking themselves in.

He hisses a breath, gritting his teeth at the igniting fire in his veins, the pain increasing as his scales start scraping over each other.

The sound is terrifying, most of sharks surrounding them immediately going away.

Jungkook breathes a whine, clamping onto Seokjin as through his gritted teeth he can feel them locking in, shaping into sharp weapons.

Seokjin wraps his tail around the younger, waiting for his eyes to glow before pulling away. Which happens soon enough.

When a bright red starts illuminating Jungkook's eyes, the merman can finally see better under the darkness.

Indeed as Seokjin said, they're scary.

Maybe twice as long as the great white shark, with pure white eyes, and a usual snout, but the underside of the jaw looks like a saw. A rounding saw.

There are other fish there who look like they came straight from a horror movie, but Jungkook can only smile.

"You're fine." Seokjin mutters.

"I know." Jungkook smirks. "But this feeling... This feeling of power... hunger. It's amazing."

Seokjin scoffs a little. "You're really okay with this. There isn't any regret?"

"No. Why would there be?"

"This isn't the best life."

"Is any?" Jungkook growls. "That brother of yours sure ruined mine."

"You can't blame him for an accident."

"I can, and I will."

Seokjin chuckles a little. "Fierce siren you are."

Jungkook grins at him, baring his sharp teeth. "I'm also hungry for revenge. Where does your pathetic brother hide?"

"Usually on land." Seokjin smirks. "We siren can get on land. Our bodies aren't made for the merman life. We're made to kill. To hunt whatever comes into our way. Whether that is humans or not."

Jungkook scoffs. "So I can return to land."

"Now you can."

Jungkook grins, blowing him a kiss before shooting up towards the surface, slapping Seokjin in his face with his tail before speeding through the water.

Seokjin growls, feeling the cut on his cheek before chasing after him, reahing to grab the thin end of Jungkook's tail.

But Jungkook has already reached the surface, grinning down at the elder siren when he jumps out.

Seokjin stops in his tracks. He watches the siren jump from the water, his body a little blurry from underneath. With a splash, Jungkook's face reappears underwater with a wide grin.

The elegance dances on his skin, the sparkles in his eyes.

Seokjin is frozen stunned, even when Jungkook comes up to caress his cut cheek.

"Wake up Jin." He growls. "You created this."

Seokjin hums and nods, taking Jungkook's face in his hands. "I know. I don't regret a thing. I've created something truly beautiful."

"Flattery will get you nowhere."

"A dive won't either."

Jungkook chuckles a little, slowly pulling his head away, circling around the older siren.

"The urges..." He mumbles sweetly. "I just really want to feel someome's skin against my nails. I want to taste blood."

Seokjin's lips twitch into a smile when Jungkook's nail trails the underside of his chin to his throat.

"Soon you will. I promise you."

"That better be." Jungkook growls. "Before I eat your brother with skin and bone."

Seokjin grabs his face, eyes piercing through his before a smile spreads on his face. "I do not care." He says slowly. "He's a dead man to me. After leaving me alone for his own man. I grew up on my own, I served my own. I asked him to bring me someone mighty. And he did."

Jungkook smiles proudly. "I wonder what would've happened if I never gave in to you. If I never met you."

"Impossible." Seokjin growls. "My brother may be an ass, but he never fails to let me know who he's send to join the merfolk."

"But I didn't join the merfolk." Jungkook grins. "I joined you."

Seokjin smiles, pulling Jungkook closer, sliding his hands down to the siren's waist.

His thumb caresses his sharp scales, pulling Jungkook's body against his own.

Jungkook squeaks a little, a sudden red blush falling on his cheeks. His gills flare a little more open, his eyes averting from Seokjin's.

"You did." Seokjin smirks, his plump lips lightly grazing Jungkook's. "And I'm very glad you did."

Jungkook's eyes widen when Seokjin's lips suddenly touch his own, full passion and emotion passing through him at the soft yet roughly placed kiss.

But Jungkook melts into the siren's touch, his hands supporting on Seokjin's broad shoulders before wrapping his arms around his neck and pulling him closer.

Seokjin's tail wraps around Jungkook's tightly as they break the kiss slowly, Seokjin's lips still lingering.

Jungkook's gills are spread open, his tail nervously curling to keep himself from sinking, his eyes shyly staring into Seokjin's as the older smirks at his furious blush.

"How sweet." He purrs. "I like the way you blush."

"D-don't tease me."

"Too late." Seokjin smirks. "There is no way I'm letting you go onto land now."

Before Jungkook can protest, Seokjin has smashed their lips together again.

And honestly, Jungkook has no complaints.

Questions of the Chapter:

Why did Taehyung make the mistake?

Who was Taehyung originally supposed to send?

What happened to Namjoon and Jimin?

Why is Seokjin not talking to the animals there if he's so lonely?

What caused Taehyung to be a half-breed?
