There was a time when the sky wasn't a dark grey. Where the moon used to be white.
Now it's red, and the sounds of laughter and hissing roams the streets.
This was all so different.
Namjoon and Jungkook have both been hiding and fighting for their lives, together with their friend, Jimin.
Jimin, however, looked sick.
He was incredibly pale and kept breathing in unbalanced short breaths. His eyes looked dead when you looked inside them.
Jungkook had thought it was all fine, and both men were happy when they saw Jimin lighting up again.
Although things changed drastically.
A vampire horde had found them, all of the vampires hissing and shrieking for their blood.
The strange thing is that they left Jimin alone.
And after surviving the horde, Jimin suddenly smirked.
"You've been so dumb." He had chuckled at them, causing them to turn, confused.
"What do you mean?" Namjoon asked him, setting his backpack down.
And in that moment, Jungkook caught a glance of Jimin's sharp fangs, screaming for Namjoon to get out of the way.
But the older was too late to notice Jimin lunging for his throat.
But Namjoon never felt the bite.
Jungkook stood in front of him, panting, his heart pounding in his chest as Jimin's fangs had penetrated his wrist.
It hurt. A lot.
He could feel the venom pouring from Jimin's fangs into his blood system as the vampire happily sucked on his wound, tasting his blood.
"Hyung... Take my stuff and run." Jungkook had whimpered. "You know it has no use staying here."
"Kookie, I won't do that."
"I said run!" Jungkook snapped at him his eyes already white and lifeless.
Namjoon merely sighed and nodded, giving the younger a soft kiss on his lips before taking the backpacks and running away, a tear of sadness falling from his cheek.

Jungkook smacked Jimin upside the head as he fed on his second human that day, growling at him for being greedy.
"There aren't as many humans left as you think. Leave some for us." Jungkook snarls.
Jimin rolls his eyes, sticking our his tongue. "I'm thirsty. Besides, this human should have a lot of blood left in him. He's so fat, he could be a cow."
"How fun."
"Loosen up, Kook." Jimin growls. "Ever since you and Namjoon split ways you've been an angry little zit in my face."
"I can't forget the way he looked at me." Jungkook mutters.
Pure disgust. Hatred. Fear.
Jungkook lets out an annoyed huff at the thought and memory. "Just get up. Jin wanted us to look for him."
"Why?"
Jungkook growls at him. "Seriously? Have you not been paying any attention?"
"Why should I?" Jimin rolls his eyes.
"Well, Namjoon has been killing thousands of us." Jungkook snarls. "He's become known as the Vampire Assassin. A murderer to our kind."
Jimin slowly looks up from his prey. "Namjoon? Killing? You're kidding."
"No." Jungkook shakes his head. "I've heard stories. Jin told us to look for him."
"And again, why should I risk my life for one human who we used to know who you told him to run. He could have been one of us." Jimin snaps at him.
Jungkook hisses loudly at him, baring his sharp fangs and red glowing eyes. "I loved him. He... He used to be mine."
"Love is a stupid thing."
"Hoseok seems interested in you."
Immediately Jimin snaps up. "Really? Hoseok? Seokjin's boyfriend?"
Jungkook rolls his eyes. "No. Come on. Jin is impatient."
"Impatient my ass..." Jimin mutters.
Jungkook chuckles. "If we find Namjoon... We can bite him."
"And what if we don't?"
"It's been almost a year. I doubt he thinks we're still alive."
"He saw you turn, Kook." Jimin spits. "He saw you change."
"And who's fault was that?!" Jungkook hisses angrily. "I still love that man and you had to set us apart--"
"Is something wrong?"
Both vampires flinch in their fight at the voice.
Jimin puts on a quick smile, flashing his fangs and chuckles softly. "N-no hyung! Everything is fine!"
"Yeah..." Jungkook mumbles. "We were discussing how to get to Namjoon without dying."
Their superior smiles. "Good. Let there be no trouble. When you find him, don't chit chat. This is a battle between the last few humans we can feed off. Find Namjoon, turn him, find the other humans and take them here. We can extract their blood nicely with the help of Yoongi and still keep them alive."
Both vampires nod quickly. "Understood."
"Very good." Seokjin smirks. "Now off you go. He was last seen in Busan on the crashed train."
"How do you know?"
"That's where Hoseok reported the last vampire dead."
"When was that?"
"Yesterday."
With a frown, the two vampires look at each other. They nod, and before Jimin can ask another thing, Jungkook pulls him away with him.
"And why exactly do we have to find him?" Jimin whines.
Jungkook's grip has only tightened ever since he's entered lightspeed, giving Jimin no time to catch up and to rely on Jungkook's hand on his wrist.
"Because Seokjin knows that we were with him during the invasion." Jungkook snarls. "He thinks Namjoon might not kill us on first glance."
Jimin scoffs. "I doubt it. Every vampire is bad to him."
Jungkook glares at him. "And who's fault is that." He snaps. "If you weren't such an idiot and had gone out on your own than I'd still be human. You'd still be human. We'd still be with Namjoon. Alive and not undead."
"You have to admit that it isn't a nightmare. Being a vampire." Jimin smiles.
"Except for the never-ending bloodlust and constant lip biting, sure. It's cool, but I'd still much rather be human."
"And you're really grumpy."
"It's called being tired."
"And being grumpy."
Jungkook stops abruptly, letting go of Jimin's wrist who proceeds to stumble forth in lightspeed, slamming his body loudly against the side of an abandoned train.
The younger vampire smirks as he watches Jimin grab onto his head, stumbling over his feet before diving face first into the grainy stones besides the tracks.
"Good night, hyung." Jungkook laughs, waving him goodbye as Jimin lifts his head to growl at him.
Second time that year.
Jimin quickly gets up and shakes his head, sprinting after Jungkook and smacks him upside the head, lunging at him.
Jungkook whines when his head hits the iron track, feeling a little dead blood drip past his neck.
Jimin hisses at him, straddling Jungkook's waist as he snaps his jaw, baring his fangs.
Jungkook repeats the action and throws Jimin off him, the older vampire slamming against another train.
But this time he isn't having it.
Jimin lunges for Jungkook's throat and the younger hisses back. The two pull at each other's hair, trying to bite their necks out and to murder each other.
That is, until both of them catch a faint scent.
Blood. Exposed, dripping blood...
Child's blood.
The fight is forgotten as both vampires immediately turn to the scent, their eyes stirring into a dangerous crimson, faintly glowing as they proceed to quietly follow the mouth-watering scent, unheard on the little rocks or metal.
Jimin, being only one day older than Jungkook in his vampire year, has similar problems as the younger. But he has been fed with a child before.
Jungkook, however...
The youngest has never smelled anything so rich before. So strong and sweet. His fangs sink deeper into his lip as uncontrollable hisses erupt from him, his neck twitching as his predator instincts take over his body, determined to get that blood.
Jimin puts a hand on his shoulder, smirking as he slowly runs his hand through Jungkook's hair.
"Be quiet, Kook." Jimin whispers, his tongue slipping across his fangs. "You'll get the first bite."
Jungkook growls and hisses like a zombie would groan and shriek, his doe eyes being wide open.
It's an instinct, Jimin knows. He's had it plenty of times. And it isn't a good feeling.
Being a vampire is basically having a parasite inside of you. The venom creates a lock around the heart, penetrating it to release the venom into the entire body.
When going into this predator state, the venom pulses the heart together so strongly that the blood stops for a moment before it only creates more venom, creating this being within you that is what the venom is.
The human brain is still normal, but with venom reaching it so quickly in such a short state of time, turns it into a monster.
And currently, Jungkook is feeling exactly that. The pain in his heart, his muscles hurting and all he can think about is that child's blood.
This is the true vampire.
A monster within the host.
This does not concern just Jungkook though. The venomous monster that Jungkook has become in this state of mind can cause other vampires to activate it as well.
Venom has a scent. And that particular scent is incredibly bloodthirsty. It doesn't smell anything like it, but you should be careful with what smell you focus on, or there could be two monsters running after you.
The good thing is, if followed or attacked by one of these creatures, they're so focused on blood that they forget to defend or think normally. They go for what they smell.
You can easily outsmart an out-of-control vampire, but not a normal one.
There is a catch to trying to attack this kind of vampire though.
They always have venom ready in their fangs. When hissing, it could spit, and a single bite or even a scratch that breaks the skin of the fangs could be a mistake.
Namjoon would know. He has seen it happen.
The human sighs deeply as the child sleeps in his arms, entering the open train cabin before sliding the door shut and locked.
He lays the child down on the couch and quickly rushes to grab a first aid kit.
Yes, he lives in these trains.
It's a maze that vampires have trouble with. They almost always look the same.
"Hang in there." Namjoon says softly, laying his hand on the little girl's cheek, who is still soundly asleep.
With a smile, he bandages the girl's arm, cleaning the many bruises and wounds on her body before laying a blanket over her.
Thankfully there are still children alive.
Namjoon has seen many bad things in his day. Children used to feed on, and when not killed properly, sometimes turn.
If they don't kill the child and still venomed it and it doesn't turn, it becomes a terror.
Mindless crying and weeping children who scream and laugh when nothing is going on.
Namjoon, when he escaped, saw a vampire feeding on one, but it never died.
These children regenerate blood faster than the average human, creating a never-ending blood source.
Namjoon sighs deeply, landing on his soft chair. He enjoys the quiet. Although his rest is soon disturbed.
He hears a loud scream outside with the terrifying loud crack of a bone.
Immediately Namjoon gets up, snatching his bag off the table and rushes outside, using the sliding door to jump on top of the train before pulling it closed and running to the sound.
Another child...
No younger than six or seven, fed on brutally by two vampires.
But... those voices. Their hair. Their body build...
He shakes his head and opens his bag pulling a wooden arrow from it and swirling his bow from his back.
He pulls the arrow and lets go, watching as it penetrates one of the vampires with an ear piercing hiss.
Immediately, the two vampires look up at the shooter, their fangs ripped from the child's skin, ripping the wound open and blood squirting out of the wound.
The child immediately begins weeping and crying, skin becoming a sickening pale mix of red and blue in the veins, eyes a lifeless white.
Namjoon freezes.
Those eyes, those faces...
Jungkook pulls the arrow from his shoulder and screams at the splintering in his skin, but it quickly regenerates, creating a new layer of skin as the splinters spring out.
Blood...
That is why feeding vampires never died on the spot.
They regenerate so quickly that the body has no time to let the splinters into the flesh.
Jungkook's frown turns into a smirk at the sight of his old lover.
Whilst they haven't changed a bit, Namjoon has. He's taller and more muscular, has sharper features and a deeper voice.
"K-Kookie?"
"Joonie! Did you miss me?" Jungkook chuckles, wiping the blood off his lips with his hand. "I sure missed you."
Namjoon is slowly backing away. He's so tempted to run into their arms and embrace them, but their glowing crimson eyes and their sharp bloody fangs remind him that they are dangerous.
"Is the Vampire Assassin scared of us?" Jimin teases, slowly coming after him.
Namjoon is up top. He has high ground. Although he has never seen a vampire climb before, he keeps his eyes sharp on the vampire that is following him from the ground.
"J-Jimin... How did you find me?"
"You came to us." Jimin shrugs. "We were... feeding. Did you enjoy the show?"
"How long have you been watching?" Jungkook growls, drawing a loud squeak from Namjoon as the voice is right in his ear.
He turns around and his eyes grow wide with fear, seeing that Jungkook is right behind him, fangs bared in a toothy smile, still covered in blood.
"I've missed you so, so much Joonie..." Jungkook growls. "And I've been anticipating to feel you... to taste you."
Namjoon frowns. "I've missed you too, but you should leave."
Jimin chuckles. "And why is that? We've left our society to find you, Namjoon. Are you going you throw us away just like that? Just look at how sad Jungkook has become."
Namjoon shakes his head. "You're both out for blood. This is a simple trap with words."
"But Joonie," Jungkook smirks, "why are you trying so hard to survive? What is so bad about giving in?"
"I'm a survivor and not a quitter. I've saved a lot of humans and I'm not going to give in after all the work I've done. I've moved on."
Jungkook reaches out to him but Namjoon pulls another arrow from his bag.
The blood he fed on has sunken. One hit from that into his skin would kill him.
The wood would pierce his heart and kill the venom that is keeping him alive.
Without it, his heart won't be able to beat. The parasite of venom is the only thing keeping him alive.
Jungkook glares at it, then at Namjoon. He frowns and hisses. "You have no problem in killing your lover...?"
"You have no problem into biting me." Namjoon barks back. "I will not be bitten."
"Think twice about that." Jimin snarls, climbing up to them. "There are two of us here, millions of us around Korea, you are here on your own. Can a mere human like you really defeat a society of vampires?"
"I thought you left the society to find me."
"Clearly you didn't fall for that trick." Jimin hisses. "It won't hurt, Namjoon."
"It will." Jungkook snarls. "But I'll be there to ease the pain."
Namjoon turns to Jimin, back to Jungkook, and so over again.
He's locked in between two vampires who were once dear to him.
He sighs deeply. "You know what...? If I... If I catch something for you to feed on, and you stay here, will you leave me human?"
Jimin and Jungkook look at each other, a dark shimmer in their eyes before Jimin nods slowly.
"That could be an acceptable deal."
"We tell Seokjin that you escaped and moved. No vampires will come here except for us. We will come back tomorrow." Jungkook smirks.
Jimin pats Namjoon's shoulder. "I expect a healthy meal tomorrow, Joon. Or it will be you who I feed off."
With that, Jimin jumps off the train and nudges Jungkook to come with.
The younger vampire places a soft kiss on Namjoon's cheek before he whispers a sweet "Tomorrow," and jumps after Jimin, sprinting back in lightspeed.
Namjoon watches after them, his heart pounding in his chest in utter panic.
He touches his cheek, thankfully feeling no blood or scar. But only butterflies in his stomach.
°•●•°
Jimin and Jungkook are both in pain. Seokjin was furious that he moved and now had to set out another day to move forward.
To where, the two vampires didn't know.
Or course.
Although, the consequences for having Namjoon to themselves was worth the pain. They were being fed with the crying terrors to keep them alive and healthy.
Seokjin knows their weaknesses. He is a vampire himself. He is ruthless in his punishments and it shows, cutting around the heart, not quite precisely hitting it. But it hurts enough to slow the healing process.
They were tied up, hit and slapped, cut and bruised.
Stripped from their clothes, Seokjin and Hoseok has been punishing them for letting Namjoon get away.
But all Jungkook could think about, was the soft cheek that has touched his lips. How warm his skin was in comparison to his own.
Whilst Jimin thrived on pain, Jungkook found nothing of it. Jimin enjoyed it immensely, whilst he simple kneeled there.
But tomorrow was another day.
Tomorrow he gets to see Namjoon again.
°•●•°
Namjoon was scared. He has kept the child in his home unconscious, panicking that he hasn't been able to find another person roaming and could bring home. Someone older and normal instead of a child.
But there was no one. It is almost night time, and he knows that there are going to be two thirsty vampires on his trainstep anytime now.
Waiting, bouncing his leg nervously, Namjoon has been thinking.
What if he gave in? What if he became a vampire like them?
Surely it couldn't be that bad. It's just bloodthirst and everyone being afraid of you...
With a sigh, Namjoon stands up and walks to the door, sliding it open and shut again, taking a strong inhale of fresh air, sitting down.
He can't think properly.
"Well, well, well." Jungkook chuckles. "What happened to you?"
Namjoon looks up from his knees, gasping at the sight of the vampires. Bruised and tainted in rotten blood with blue spots here and there from being hit.
Jungkook's wrist is shaking and twitching, whilst Jimin is stumbling and whining on one leg.
A human child wouldn't do it...
"May we enter?" Jungkook asks, nudging his head to the door.
Namjoon nods, still shocked by the wounds. Whatever happened wasn't going on his Good Vampire Stuff list.
Jungkook slides the door open and immediately his eyes start to glow again.
He licks his lips, turning the corner to see an innocent child, wounded, laying there on the couch. Sleeping peacefully.
"Have you captured her today?" Jimin asks.
"No." Namjoon mutters. "She was hurt, so I took her here to get better."
Jimin strokes a bit of the girl's black hair from her face. "So sad to see such an adorable child go."
"But we need it."
"We need her blood. Not her body."
"I don't need a terror in my home." Namjoon snarls. "You feed off of her. Either kill her or leave her."
"So heartless..." Jungkook purrs and chuckles, placing a hand on his shoulder. "You almost act like one of us. Wanting more of these children to be... our feeding tool."
"I want humans to be safe from your kind." Namjoon barks back. "This girl is sick and will die anyway! You two just... heal." He crosses his arms and turns away.
Jimin shrugs at a confused Jungkook, who keeps turning his head to look at the human and back at the girl.
Paying no further mind to Namjoon, Jimin dives down to sink his fangs into the girl's skin, feeding off her still sweet and thin blood.
Jungkook sighs deeply, growling at Namjoon as he also goes to feed.
"I still think we should turn him." Jimin whispers, taking a moment to slide his fangs from the skin.
Jungkook glares at him but nods. "It's for the best."
"What best?" Jimin grins. "It's just fun."
Jungkook snorts quietly and nods again, continuing to drink whilst listening closely to Namjoon's heartbeat.
°•●•°
Namjoon has walked outside, sitting on top of one of the many trains, staring up at the red moon.
"I thought you'd be up here."
Namjoon turns to look, then scoffs. "No, you didn't."
"You're right. As always."
Namjoon smiles. "Why did you follow me? Don't you have some killing spree to go on to?"
Jungkook sits down next to him with a sigh. "Nope. Not unless Jin commands me to."
"Who?"
"Seokjin. The original cause of the vampire invasion."
Namjoon nods, looking back up.
Jungkook runs a hand through his hair and smiles. "How have you been this past year?"
"I've been fine. A few scars here and there and some terrifying encounters, but I'm fine." Namjoon answers. "How about you?"
"I've had to learn a lot." Jungkook mumbles. "I constantly went through uncontrollable bloodthirst and my fangs hurt at first since I kept biting my lip with them. But eventually I learned that being a vampire like this has a lot more good qualities then bad."
"Really?"
Jungkook nods.
"Like what?"
Smiling, the vampire leans his head on Namjoon's shoulder, crawling closer to him.
"Well, we can run really fast. It's called lightspeed and it's really cool. We're really strong and we can smell and see very well. Our sense of hearing is also higher and we have changes to our body. Other than fangs and red eyes, we also have a healthier skin and better agility. We're flexible and usually very controlled."
"I haven't seen one controlled yet." Namjoon huffs.
"You saw Jimin and me. We're controlled."
"You're mad."
"Vampires are naturally very aggressive. We're like animals. Predators. The strongest must survive." Jungkook says softly, locking his hand with Namjoon.
Namjoon chuckles softly, leaning into Jungkook's touch. "So between you and me, who would win?"
"You."
"How are you so sure?"
"You were already so stern and dominant before. As a vampire, those two traits can bring even the strongest down to their knees, since they are the base of our characteristics is to be threatening and dangerous."
Namjoon smiles at him. "So even with you in your vampire form I would be able to beat you. Sounds good to me."
Jungkook bursts into laughter. "No, no, no! Not right now. I'm much stronger than you right now."
"Prove it to me."
"What do I earn of it?" Jungkook purrs, baring his fangs playfully.
Namjoon flinches though, immediately pulling away from him. Jungkook squeaks when his head drops, quickly calming the human.
"No, no, no, no!" He yells. "This is a playful gesture! It's meant to tease! It's not a threat!"
Namjoon's heaving chest slowly calms down and he gulps, looking down at Jungkook's fangs.
"I-if... If I win... You won't attack me. Ever. And you'll come see me every night!" He says sharply. "A-and if you win..." His voice quiets. "You... can bite me..."
Jungkook looks up at him, crimson eyes wide with shock. "Joonie, you're asking for doom! There is no winning from a vampire!"
"I can try." Namjoon mutters, looking down at him and lifting his chin. "And you know I will keep trying my whole life."
"Because you can't know everything without failure..." Jungkook finishes softly.
Namjoon nods. "Exactly."
With a soft nudge of his fingers, Namjoon presses his lips gently against Jungkook's, who is a bit startled at first. Nonetheless, he kisses back.
They still feel the same...
They still hold that same passion...
"Vampire or not," Namjoon says softly, "I know you are still my Kookie."
Jungkook nods, pressing his forehead against Namjoon's. "I always have been..."
Namjoon smiles, pecking his lips once more before pulling away. "Let's fight, Kookie. Show me that you've become stronger."
"I'll bring you down with one hand."
"I'd like to see you try."
Namjoon chuckles and takes a bit of distance. "Come on Kookie. I'll give you the first move."
"I can't wait to bite you." Jungkook hisses playfully, licking his lips.
Namjoon is still a bit frightened, but he quickly regains his posture and watches as Jungkook hisses at him, baring his fangs playfully.
Namjoon chuckles at the sight, baring his own teeth for fun. Jungkook snorts at this gesture, knowing he means it playfully as well.
"Well? Come on!" Namjoon laughs. "Throw me something!"
Jungkook hisses, setting his foot back and lunging at his hyung, who squeaks amd barely dodges his speedy attack.
But the fight is over much too quickly as Jungkook hooks his hand around Namjoon's ankle, tripping the human.
Namjoon lands on his back harshly, crying out in pain as his head hits the metal of the train.
When he looks up again, Jungkook is hovering over him, smirking.
"Never underestimate a determined vampire."
Namjoon pants, calming down from his shock. He used to be scared of being bitten. Of becoming a vampire. But with Jungkook here, it might not be so bad after all.
He tilts his head up, exposing his neck.
"I promised that you could bite me if you won. I keep my promise." He says softly. "Bite me."
Jungkook looks down at Namjoon's neck, licking his lips. Without even a second thought, he bares his fangs and drills them into Namjoon's skin.
Namjoon screams out in pain, his hands finding Jungkook's hair, immediately regretting his decision.
He gasps, feeling the thick fluid of venom entering his bloodstream. "Kookie!"
Jungkook growls against his skin, letting the older tug at his hair and jolt. The uncomfortable writhing against him makes him feel itchy to kill him, but he won't.
He can't.
He has been through the same pain, the same rising thirst, the same pain of biting your lip too often, the same need to kill and to fight.
The feeling of a predator rising inside of you, the heartclenching pain, the monster awakening within...
Namjoon's tears have slowly faded, turned into sobs. His eyes have turned into white, empty orbs, yet to be filled with dark thirst.
But as soon as they start to glow, Jungkook pulls his fangs away. He stopped drinking, just letting his venom sink. And the result is beautiful.
Deep red glowing eyes stare right back at him, his body still twitching and groaning as he snaps his jaw to nothing, biting the air with growing fangs.
His skin is as pale as Jungkook's, his gaze sharp and hostile as his eyes shoot from one place to another, growling and hissing as he wrinkles his nose, trying to detect a scent.
Immediately his head turns and he hisses, his head twitching violently. He grabs Jungkook's waist and throws the vampire off of him, getting up faster than the speed of light and running to the smell of blood.
He's never smelled anything like it.
It's so appetizing...
Jungkook quickly catches up to him and stops him, placing their lips together roughly.
"Don't be tempted." Jungkook whispers. "It's just a mere rabbit. It's not a human. It's not worth your first bite."
Namjoon hisses lowly. "I don't care. I feel so--"
"Thirsty? Hostile? Animalistic?" Jungkook asks. "I had that too. Get over it and we'll go hunt for a real human to feed on."
Namjoon growls, looking at where the scent comes from and back to Jungkook, before hissing in annoyance and turning back.
"This better be worth my time."
"Trust me Joonie, it is."
Namjoon huffs, following Jungkook to his home, where Jimin is waiting for them. Sitting on the comfortable chair.
He yelps and whines when he's suddenly pulled off the soft cushions, staring into the dangerous red eyes of Namjoon, his body lifted off the ground by only the fist at his collar.
"Who told you that it was okay to sit on my chair?"
Jimin looks a bit taken aback, then smirks and bares his fangs. "You turned..."
"Lost a bet." Namjoon mutters. "That, however, does not give you the right to sit in my chair, touch my stuff, and not clean up the mess of human body parts on my couch."
Jimin chuckles. "Have you fed?"
"He hasn't." Jungkook replies. "I didn't want his first feeding to be on a bunny."
Jimin's nose crunches in disgust. "Bunnies taste terrible."
Namjoon shrugs. "I have yet to experience."
"Just don't." Jimin whines. "It's really bad!"
"Really?"
"Really!" Jimin yells. "Also, can you put me down now?"
With a growl, Namjoon drops the vampire to the floor.
"So... Jin is waiting, I guess?" Jungkook mutters. "Should we go back? He can feed on something good right away then."
Jimin nods. "Does he know how to lightspeed?"
"I'll just pull him like I did with you."
"Yeah, that hurt." Jimin hisses.
Namjoon chuckles, amused at their bickering and crosses his arms. Other than the incredibly difficult to ignore bloodthirst gnawing at his throat, everything has been fine.
He's feeling good. Energetic and just a little hostile. A need to prove his dominance.
"So, to Seoul I suppose...?" Namjoon asks.
The two other vampires nod and Jungkook takes his hand. "Hold tight and don't let go."
"After tonight? I won't ever let go." Namjoon grins, flashing his sharp fangs.
Jungkook does the same and Jimin rolls his eyes, already speeding off to Seoul.
Jungkook pulls Namjoon with him, jumping into lightspeed before the newly turned can say something.
Instead, the grip on his hand tightens and Namjoon tries to keep up, his red eyes snapping to everything around him as all that is left of where they once were is a mere red line from their eyes after moving too fast.
He can see every building slam past them in a millisecond before the next city and the next.
And then they come to Seoul.
The ride has been fast, but Namjoon was able to catch every single human that was near them in a heartbeat, their scents setting off the monster within him.
When arrived, Namjoon immediately turns around and tries to run back, but Jungkook stops him.
Namjoon wide bright red eyes stare at him, hissing through his fangs as he tries to pry himself out of the strong grip.
Jungkook pulls him in for a hug and kisses his cheek softly. "We have human blood for you."
Namjoon turns his head, looking down at the younger. The roundness of his eyes slowly dilates and he nods slowly.
Thirst is gnawing at him like a shark at its prey, his chest heaving as the scent of blood suddenly enters his nostrils.
He can feel his predator's instinct walling up, his hands clenching to tight fists and his fangs bared.
Jungkook just rubs his arm, comfortingly telling him to calm down.
They enter the large mansion, Namjoon's eyes widening at the many vampires at work.
Every single one of the vampires gasps when they walk past and hisses at Namjoon, but Namjoon answers with a hiss of his own, scaring and shocking quite some maids.
"Seokjin hyung?" Jimin knocks on the door to the office, patiently waiting for an answer.
"Come in."
The scent of human becomes much stronger, Namjoon almost ripping himself out of Jungkook's grip.
The vampire smirks at the sight, long sharp fangs on display.
"Oh? You caught him."
Jimin nods. "He misled us and fled back to his train. We caught him on the roof of one of them when we went hunting and took our chance."
"I'm very impressed." Seokjin smirks, standing up from his seat and slowly walking over to them.
He curls a finger under Namjoon's chin and watches as the newly turned growls at him, allowing Seokjin to feel the vibrations of his throat.
"You are not playing. Very good. I'm proud of you."
"Why would we be playing, hyung?" Jungkook asks. "I wouldn't want anything else but to be with my lover once more."
Seokjin nods. "I can understand your feelings."
He snaps his fingers and almost immediately an unconscious human is brought inside.
Namjoon's eyes flare wide open, baring his lengthening fangs.
"He hasn't fed yet?"
"The only thing close was a rabbit." Jungkook scowls in disgust.
Seokjin pulls a face. "Oh, you poor thing." He flicks his wrist, the maid immediately bowing and bring the human body to them. "You take it. You need it."
Namjoon wastes no time in baring his fangs and ripping them through her skin, sucking the heavy blood from the woman's body with a moan of satisfaction.
His strength and body feel a bit more normal and controlled, his muscle finally not hurting anymore and his thirst finally being stilled.
He takes a few deep breaths after feeding, gulping the last few drops down his throat before he looks up at Seokjin.
"The Vampire Assassin... How ironic." Seokjin chuckles. "How are you liking it thus far?"
Namjoon glares at him. "I can't say it's been bad."
"Good, good. Say, how would you like to go out hunting for a while? Maybe explore some cities and abilities. Turn a few humans here and there?" Seokjin smirks. "What do you say? Your partner can come."
Namjoon's eyes lighten up, looking at Jungkook, who nods happily.
"I'll do it."
"Excellent! Jungkook will teach you everything. Now please leave I have dinner soon."
With a roll of his eyes, Jimin pushes the other two out of the room, goes to follow, but Seokjin calls his name before he can.
He turns to look, seeing Seokjin curling his finger, Hoseok by his side, both smirking.
Confidently, Jimin goes back to the front of the desk, and listens to their words. Not really caring how Hoseok appeared so suddenly.

"So... You're coming with me?"
"Of course I am." Jungkook giggles at Namjoon's excitement.
Namjoon embraces Jungkook in a tight hug. "I should have let myself get bitten the moment you turned."
"Luckily, time stands still for the upcoming years."
"This is a sweet moment, Kookie."
"A joke can always fit in."
Namjoon chuckles. "You haven't changed one bit."
"And neither have you."
Placing a kiss on Jungkook's soft lips, Namjoon mutters an "Let's go," before they rush through the streets, the red moon shining brightly above them.
Tonight, there are two vampires on the loose. And you better watch your back.
