Jimin slowly walks inside the cold room. It's filled with the mumbling of doctors, biologists, scientists, animal owners, and animal behaviour studies.
The reason?
That darn infection that's been going around.
It makes them look like dead people. Jimin is assigned to doctor Jung Hoseok for a full body inspection, DNA test and knowledge test.
He doesn't like the doctor that much. He's very serious and an extreme workaholic, trying to look for the cure for the past two years.
Jimin had the luck of staying quarantined on his own giving him time with his dog.
But he was called. He knows animals. He has an animal shelter and does most of the work there for them. Behavioral issues are easily spotted by him and taken care of.
That's why he's there.
"Excuse me, I need an ID." A man says to him with a soft, gentle smile. "This is private and dangerous property."
Jimin nods, already pulling out the folder of the e-mail he got. "I know. I got this a few days ago."
The officer nods at him and gently takes the letter and reads it through before allowing Jimin to pass.
Inside, he's amazed.
There are many machines he's never seen before, like a laboratory, substances in glasses are boiling or steaming.
Inside at the cage in the corner sits the man who will be guiding him.
"You can take a seat." The man says coldly, not even turning around to look at him. "I'll be with you shortly."
Jimin mentally rolls his eyes but does as he's told. He's wearing his glasses today. Not the smartest move with steaming substances.
The man gets up and turns around. "Jung Hoseok, first class scientist, owner of BIONAT. You must be Jimin, correct?"
Jimin nods. "I am."
"It's a pleasure." Hoseok says, reaching out to shake hands.
Jimin accepts the police greeting and bows his head a little with the shake. "Likewise, sir."
"You know why you're here." Hoseok starts, taking a glance at his watch and holds up 2 fingers. "I've brought two subjects today. One is young and in the midst of his transformation. The other has been a rebel for some time now."
Jimin notices that Hoseok keeps glancing towards the tubes and checks his watch. Those two fingers must've meant two minutes.
"You want me to step inside with them?" Jimin asks fearfully.
"Dear goodness! No!" Hoseok chuckles. "We'll just do your hand."
"That... isn't really reassuring, sir." He mutters back.
Hoseok shakes his head. "I'm not reassuring you because everything and anything could go wrong. There is no safety in situations like this, Jimin. If you get bitten, scratched, or even licked, we'll keep you here for examination. That is what you promised when you came here."
Jimin nods. "I understand. It's never safe out either. It was a risk for me to drive my way over, but it would take days to walk and that could have ended my life. These rebels are everywhere."
Hoseok nods, giving Jimin a soft smile. Perhaps the boy judged him too early. Maybe he was just really formal.
"Shall we go to our subjects?"
Jimin hesitates, but eventually replies with a simple "yes". Better get this over with.
Hoseok gets up from his desk chair and looks at his watch again. He rushes over to the tubes and turns the knob on it fully to the left. It stops boiling and leaves a bright green.
He nudges Jimin to follow, as he does, entering a small room with two cages. One has a young man inside it, shaking, twitching. The other is slamming against the sharp strong glass, screeching and growling for it to break.
From just observing them Jimin sees they can communicate. The boy isn't far in, noticing how normal he still looks except for the sharp rows of teeth in his mouth and bright yellow iris.
Something with their voice box as both their attention goes to the new man.
Jimin slowly walks up to the transforming one, crouching down to be on eye level.
"Can you still speak?" He asks softly.
The boy opens his mouth. A bit of growling erupts from him. "Y-ye-s... A l-litt-tle..."
"Can you tell me what happened? How are you feeling?"
The boy snaps his jaw at him with a threatening growl. "Bite." He manages to snarl. "Leg."
"May I look? Can you roll up your trousers for me?"
The boy twitches again. "Q-uestio-ns... To-o m-muc-ch."
"Sorry. We just want to help." Jimin smiles. "Can you write down how you feel? If that feels better for you?"
The boy looks down a little before he nods slowly.
Jimin looks over at Hoseok, who nods, giving him permission.
Jimin grabs two pages from the desk and a pen, sliding them from under the small space underneath and the pen through one of the holes to breathe through.
The boy catches it and immediately starts writing. Growling with every word he writes in messy, quivering strokes.
"H-hu-ngry..." A growl.
"Ang-ngry..." Another loud growl.
"S-car-ed..."
A shriek from the other rebel has the boy look up with a half broken smile, a soft growl of his own replying to his.
"Why do you feel scared?"
The boy turns back to him and shakes his head. "B-ite. Sca-ary... F-fe-lt... di-izzy... Tho-thought I w-was dea-ad..."
"Technically you are." Hoseok shrugs.
Jimin glares at him. "He's a kid. Show him some mercy."
"It's simply the truth." The older snarls, but he stops as soon as he sees small tears across the boy's cheeks.
"M-mom? Da-ad? A-re the-they d-ead too?"
Jimin sighs. "I don't know, and I'm sorry. but you're not dead. You were bitten, like you mentioned before. You're what we call a rebel. Someone bitten who shows signs of going rabid, insane, or animalistic."
"A-am I... r-eb-bel?"
"Sadly, yes."
"B-but... I-I--" His mouth opens widely for a loud shriek, his entire body jolting and twitching.
The other rebel lets go of a shriek as well, having been quiet for a few minutes.
The boy falls to the ground on his back, curling as he gets up on his feet, slamming his fists against the glass of the other rebel.
He growls something deeply, voice raspy.
"Can you answer just one more question for me?"
The boy turns his head, eyes big and wide, teeth bared, saliva dribbling down the sharp edges.
It growls, nodding softly.
"Can you slide the paper and pen back and write your name on it?"
The rebel falls to his knees, curling over entirely and with even worse lines writes his name, shaking hands as he pushes the pen and paper through back.
"Thank you." Jimin smiles. "We're going to help you."
The rebel shrieks loudly, to which the older rebel grunts.
Jimin leaves the room with a sigh, Hoseok following and locking the door.
The two return to Hoseok's office, Jimin dropping into the chair with a sigh. "The transformation time is surprisingly short."
"What did you notice?" Hoseok asks, taking seat in his own chair.
Jimin runs a hand through his hair. "It honestly seems to differ with both. The older transformed was more wolf-like aggressive, whilst the boy was only lion cub aggressive. It's not the same with either."
"So... you're saying that it's animalistic behaviour?"
"I can definitely see animalistic behaviour, but I wouldn't say it's overtaking them. I can see it more with the older transformed." Jimin answers with a nod.
Hoseok nods slightly. "This is very difficult. Creating a cure would mean to have to track each and every possible species on earth, the infected's age, transformation time. They won't be able to answer it all!"
Jimin looks up at him. "Calm down. Knowing that they are different is already a big step. We can do tests with food and flesh to see if there is any other way they can become human again without making billions of drinks for billions of infected."
Hoseok sighs deeply, sliding his hands over his face with a tired groan. "The step is huge indeed, but we don't have that time. People are ignoring the warnings. On my way I saw three people in the bar. Laughing! With the doors open! Free for any infected man, woman, or child to walk in and give them a nibble! It's... stupid."
His final words are soft, embarrassed. Jimin silently lays a hand on his dropping one, the two looking at their connected skin.
"Those are idiots. I know we don't have the time, but if we think negatively, all our time will be spent on that."
Hoseok nods again. "Yeah..."
"Do you want to test the food theory?" Jimin tries, noticing how the older smiles a little.
"Sure."
They get up again, chuckling a bit to themselves at their useless rest. Jimin smiles at Hoseok, who nervously looks back at the locked room with the two infected.
If only a curse was as easy as it sounded.
"Ah, Namjoon!" Hoseok yells out, waving at the man who suddenly shoots up from his work.
He pushes his glasses up on his nose and smiles brightly. "Hoseok hyung! How's the research?"
"Well... We figured out something about the rebels, thanks to Jimin here. But I'm not one bit closer to the cure. I thought I was on the right path. The liquid I made was useless after this discovery..."
"Another three days wasted?"
"Sadly."
Jimin frowns. "Why so pessimistic?"
"This is a crisis." Namjoon says. "Not everything is positive."
Jimin sighs, nodding sadly.
"Anyway, Joon, do you have some leftover flesh from... well..."
"Ex-employees... I do. Did you need it?" The man answers, smiling softly.
Jimin answers for the older. "We want to test to see if they'll be more tempted to raw meat or actual human flesh. If they're drawn to the meat than maybe it's not as big of a riot as we thought."
Namjoon nods understandingly. "I'll bring the supplies to the office. You two can go ahead and take care of the meat--!!"
The door slams open, revealing a young man, bleeding by his shoulder. And not a little.
"Ah, fuck... Little shit got to me." He mutters. "Namjoon, you got me a bandaid?"
"WHAT THE HELL?!! THAT NEEDS MORE THAN A BANDAID!!" Hoseok screams, rushing up to help the weaker scientist. "Jimin! Go find Seokjin! He's the guard you met earlier! He's the third door to the left! Tell him Yoongi is in trouble!"
Jimin, stuttering in complete panic, nods quickly and runs out.
He's quick, following Hoseok's instructions, when he hears a familiar shriek.
He stops in his tracks, turning to the door. He knocks carefully, hearing everything stop.
He quickly ignores it and rushes off to find the officer going over something in his notes.
"SEOKJIN!" Jimin yells.
The officer looks up. "What...-?"
"Yoongi needs help! He's hurt!" Jimin pants. "Hoseok told me to call you!"
Within a second, Seokjin dropped his stuff and grabs something out of his pocket, rushing towards where Jimin came from.
The officer grabs Yoongi from Hoseok, who's now holding his hip, blood seeping from the white robe.
"Thank god, Jin! Yoongi needs his medication!"
"I'm on it." Seokjin snarls, taking a pill from the bottle and taking Yoongi in his arms. The man is shaking, swaying from blood loss whilst Namjoon is patching his shoulder.
He slowly pushes the pill through Yoongi's lips and grabs the flask of water at his belt, allowing the pill to slide down his throat.
"Let go, Hoseok."
Hoseok does as told, groaning as he grabs his hip with both hands, slowly raising his shirt to look.
There a sharp cut, blood flowing from the wound.
"Shit... Why don't you ever cut your nails Yoongi?!"
"You know he hates to do it."
"But I'm cut because of it!" Hoseok snaps. "I'm going to patch it. Take care of him. Jimin, can you go to the cafeteria and ask for raw meat of any kind. I got flesh. We can continue this."
Jimin looks down at the large cut. "I can't leave you like this! What if you pass out?"
"I won't. Trust me."
Hesitantly, Jimin nods, following the map to the cafeteria. He can only hope Hoseok will be alright...
°•●•°
Hoseok grumbles curses under his breath, watching as the bandage around his waist soaks in blood.
There is a piece of flesh soaked in a blood filled bottle.
He gulps at it, turning back to the door. He knew something was up when Yoongi reached out for his throat.
Yoongi isn't hostile. He's the opposite. He knew that gaze, and it does not belong to him.
Something was wrong that moment.
Yoongi was taken away by Seokjin, but... dies the officer know what's going on?
Hoseok looks outside for a moment. Dark grey skies, stars dully lit. Light rain trickles from the skies.
Hoseok's shoulder twitches.
A frown taints his face, rethinking about what the rebel wrote.
He taps his finger on the note with a sigh.
Afraid... The boy was afraid when he was bitten. Afraid he'd die.
The moment of the tear of his skin, he felt a shiver. A pulse of his body. A reaction of fear.
Anger. He's angry at himself. For letting himself be so vulnerable.
Hunger...
He looks back down at the flesh. He knows Yoongi knew something.
The door opens, revealing the shorter man who came this afternoon. His head is down, holding a zip-up bag with a small raw pig meat.
"Sir? We can go."
His voice is small.
Hoseok nods and gets up with the bottle, loosely wrapping his coat over his exposed, bandaged chest.
"Let's."
Hoseok moves slowly, deep in thought. His moves are a little stumbly.
"How is your hip?" Jimin asks softly.
"It's fine. It just burns a little."
Jimin nods slowly. "I saw Yoongi just now..."
"What happened to him?"
Jimin stays quiet.
"Jimin, answer me."
No answer.
Hoseok grabs Jimin's collar and pushes him against the wall. "Listen here, Jimin. I was scratched by Yoongi. Your answer will determine my fate." He snarls.
Jimin looks down. "Him and Seokjin just... stared at each other. But when I passed, both of them turned at the exact same time. No second delay. Immediately. Their eyes were blank..."
Hoseok's hands tremble a bit before they drop, the bottle falling to the ground.
"I'm done for, Jimin." He mutters. "I got scratched. I have the virus in my veins."
"Sir-"
"Don't." Hoseok snaps. "I should have known better. But there are currently five confirmed infected here, including myself." He sighs. "You have to get out of here or at least hide. Make sure you're safe. Try to find the cure... Save all of us."
"That's too much pressure." Jimin shakes his head. "I can't do this-!"
"LISTEN TO ME!" Hoseok shouts angrily. "I am done for. Permanently! I'll wander looking for flesh!"
Jimin looks up at him. "You...-"
"No. I didn't eat it. I felt extremely tempted to. The thing pulses... it's obvious. Jimin, I beg you. Do this for me. For the safety of whoever may be alive. If I become animalistic, there is no saying whether I'll be worse than those two."
Jimin looks down again and nods slowly. He leans up, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "At least the virus won't kill you... I will still be able to look at you from a distance."
"Don't do this to me, Jimin." Hoseok mumbles. "Just go now. I don't know if age has anything to do with the transformation..."
Jimin gulps nervously and nods. "I'll try what I can."
"Please." Hoseok says. "Please be safe."
Jimin nods, cupping Hoseok's cheeks, feeling the smooth skin roughen. "I will."
With that, he rushes into Hoseok's office and locks the door.
Hoseok instead crouches down to his knees, holding his hair. He's done for.
He shakily grabs the keys from his belt, unlocking the door of the two infected. He stumbles inside and notices both of them, quietly staring at him.
The older one grumbles, crossing his arms.
Hoseok ignores him, reaching for the sharp edge of the desk, pulling it out and letting the broken table fall.
He feels the cold metal. He shouldn't do this for Jimin's safety. But he can't think straight.
He gets in front of both the cages, taking a violent swing. It only cracks.
The younger rebel shrieks in fear at the hit. But Hoseok swings again.
The older rebel growls at him, but Hoseok replies with a sharp glare.
"Shut up." He sneers. "You're in no position to comp-plain." He grumbles, feeling the stop in his voice. "I'm getting y-ou ou-out."
The younger looks at him, growling softly.
Hoseok looks at him with the third swing. "N-no... He sur-vived."
The rebel smiles, grumbling something that Hoseok can finally fully understand.
"Thank you..."
Hoseok looks at both of them, with a shout of rage swinging for the last time with all his force before the cages shatter.
"You're weird, you know that?" The older rebel snarls with a deep growl.
Hoseok nods. "I r-ealize."
"What happened to you?" The younger asks.
Hoseok points at his bleeding hip. "S-scratch. Painf-ful. I felt sca-ared... A-ang-ry... I fe-felt it."
"This might just take an hour or so." The oldest mutters. "You're healthy, young, and smart. This won't be painful as much for you as it was for me."
"B-but--"
"You mentioned two of your friends earlier outside. Where are they?"
Hoseok shrugs. "The b-buil-lding is bi-g."
The rebel groans. "The name's Jiyong. I'm Jungkook's older brother."
The younger waves. "Hey..."
Hoseok turns to the door, sighing deeply. He turns on his heels and passes the hall, avoiding his office.
Jimin mentioned them staring.
The two talk a lot.
Hoseok moves, his muscles hurting with every step he takes. He's twitching, growling and uncontrollable screeching.
But eventually he finds the two. Seokjin growling at Yoongi, scolding him for being reckless on the streets.
Yoongi barks back that the pill only made him fuzzier, that it's his fault. But once they notice Hoseok and the two behind them, he looks around.
Namjoon is nowhere to be found.
"Hoseok...?"
"Tha-anks for the na-nail. Hyun-g." Hoseok growls.
Yoongi looks away with a frown. "Whatever. It's not my fault. This punk grabbed onto me, claiming he was the cure."
"What if he was?"
"Than he wouldn't be infected."
Seokjin huffs. "You're the punk who grabbed me and stole my life." He growls. "You fucking bit my neck! Do you know how much that hurts?!"
Yoongi growls loudly at him. "Don't complain to me. I was bleeding."
Seokjin scoffs.
"S-stop compl-aining yo-ou two!" Hoseok shrieks.
Jungkook gently rubs over Hoseok's back. "Calm down... "
"Because of y-ou!" Hoseok says deeply, growling. "Be-because of yo-u... I l-eft Jimi-in behi-nd."
"Is he still alive?" Seokjin asks. "That's good."
Hoseok nods. "I ju-just wished he-e'd be s-safer..."
Yoongi slowly looks down. "He won't survive anyway. The best you can do for him now is to turn him. It'll be less hurtful. If he wants to survive on all he knows about animals it won't do. I know how I act and I can feel it. We don't need an animal specialist to know."
Hoseok growls at him. "I will not hurt h-him."
Jiyong sighs deeply. "Fine. Then I will." He growls, turning on his heels and taking big steps back.
Hoseok rushes to chase after him, shrieking for him to stop, but his legs give out on him, with a shriek falling down as Jiyong continues to walk.
Hoseok's body writhes, twitches and jolts. He shrieks awful noises, demanding Jiyong to stand down and get away.
But Jiyong smirks at him, knocking on the door.
No reply.
Hoseok gives another loud shriek of denial. The sound is horrid as he slowly gets back up, his light blue eyes wide as Jiyong suddenly slams his fist against the door.
"Stop! Stop!" Hoseok shrieks loudly, tripping once before lunging for the other rebel.
He steps aside, causing Hoseok to hit the door. It cracks, splinters as Jiyong kicks hard against the wood.
It breaks.
Hoseok falls in the room with a load groan, Jiyong bursting into laughter.
Jimin shrieks in fear and back away, grabbing one of the bottles.
"H-how did you get in?!"
"Jimin! Run away!" Hoseok shrieks, growling in pain.
"H-Hoseok!"
"Run away!" Hoseok shrieks again, his mind is foggy and blurry.
Jimin backs away. "S-stay away from me!"
Jiyong rolls his eyes. "If you won't bite him, I will."
Hoseok snaps towards him. "Touch him once, I swear--"
"Then. Bite. Him." Jiyong snarls at him.
Hoseok hisses at him. "I won't!"
Jiyong shrugs. "Fine. Then I will."
The rebel lunges for the human, who screams in fear.
Jiyong bares his sharp teeth, but an elbow hits his jaw right before he can set his teeth into the boy's skin.
"Touch him. And I'll end the first creation we've captured." A deep voice mutters. "You can bite me. Kill me. But you won't kill the one human I still have left!"
Hoseok shakes his head. "Joon... Don't! Just take Jimin and run!"
"Shut it!" Jiyong shrieks at him. "They're hopeless... They won't survive out there. Yoongi was careful, was he not? And he got it worse than I did. They'll die out there. The best we can do is to end their human suffering."
"But... I-I can--"
"Snap out of it." Jiyong mutters. "We're rebels. Flesh is our food. These two humans will either get turned or be eaten. What would it rather be?"
Hoseok looks up at Jimin. The human is panting, tears brimming his eyes with fear.
"I can't bare the look in his eyes, Jiyong." He mumbles softly.
Jiyong growls. "You have a choice. That look won't have to be one when his arm is ripped off by a loose rebel."
Hoseok shivers before he sighs. "Fine. I can see the options..."
"So which one will you take?"
"Excuse me?"
"If I bite one the other will kill me. We need to do both at the same time."
Hoseok gulps. "I... I have to?"
"If you want to protect us."
Looking up at the two humans, he sees the fear in their eyes, their trembling bodies. It's impossible to live in such fear.
Hoseok slowly gets up, seeing Jimin flinch.
But the human calms lightly when he sees the hurt in Hoseok's eyes. The watery glass, slowly falling down his cheek.
"I'm sorry..." Hoseok mutters quietly to himself, stumbling closer with guilt and regret.
Jiyong pats his shoulder. "It'll be alright. He'll forgive you."
"What if he doesn't?"
Jiyong forced eye contact, his cold sharp eyes glaring at him. "He will."
Hoseok gulps, looking at Jimin once more. His chest rises and falls rapidly. With a final look at Jiyong, his hands grab Jimin by his shoulders.
The human screams in fear, shaking as he feels the cold through his shirt.
"Don't touch him--!"
Namjoon himself is pushed against the wall. Jiyong wastes no time to mourn over the humanity, digging his teeth into the exposed throat.
Hoseok shuts his eyes at Namjoon's pained scream, his own hands trembling at Jimin's body.
"H-Hoseok..."
"I'm scared Jiyong." Hoseok whimpers. "I'm scared..."
"Don't be. Fear is the enemy of yourself." Jiyong mutters. "He'll be in trouble if Namjoon is even close to a human in a few minutes."
"What if I do it wrong...? What if I hurt him?"
"Of course it hurts. But you'll be there for him. Don't you love him?"
"We... aren't together..."
"You sure sound like you want him in your life."
Hoseok nods silently, looking down. He shakily reaches out for his arm, slowly lifting the sleeve.
Jimin pulls his arm back, his breathing increasing.
Hoseok feels his heart sting. He doesn't want to do this, but at the same time he wants to.
With trembling eyes, he grabs Jimin's face, lifting it and biting into his shoulder.
Jimin screams out in pain, his hands latching onto Hoseok's coat and tugging at it.
Drawing blood, Hoseok's tears land on Jimin's skin. He's guilty. He feels sorry. Upon tasting a drop, he pulls away. He doesn't dare look Jimin in his eyes.
Jiyong's cold glare softens a little. He's bitten a few people. But Hoseok... He's been working against this virus. He never wanted to cause more of it.
It's the last he wanted to do, and it's a burden to him to do so.
"Fuck... Forgive me Jimin..." Hoseok whimpers softly. "Please forgive me..."
Jimin twitches in his hold, crying out as he tugs and pulls on Hoseok's robe. Namjoon is growling, stuttering in his words as he complains and curses at Jiyong shamelessly.
Hoseok never heard Namjoon say such words...
"Yelling won't solve anything." Jiyong barks back. "Hell, I doubt it would help your voice at all right now. Poor little scientist can't help but to feel a little pain?" He mocks, grinning.
Namjoon growls at him, his head twitching as he bares his sharp teeth. "Y-ou're not wo-orthy of g-iv-ing life thi-is way."
"Maybe so." Jiyong shrugs. "But if I didn't do it, they would."
Namjoon follows Jiyong's finger out to the window.
There are multiple rebels screaming and growling. The virus spread much quicker than expected.
The man looks down with a scowl. "Than wouldn't dying be much better?"
"Do you think Taehyung would've wanted that? He's walking around here somewhere looking for you. I've heard him cry because you fucking ran from him. This is your only chance to get it back. To fix what you broke."
Namjoon's eyes grow wider. "You... found Tae?"
"He's in the building somewhere. Been here for a while. Maybe even from before I was. I know he is because he was the one breaking the window in our room. He hid, slipped through the door. I've never seen him come back. This is your chance."
Namjoon twitches again. "Why didn't you tell me?" He growls out.
"You couldn't understand me. You were in denial."
Clenching his hands to fists, Namjoon pushes Jiyong away and runs for the door, only to fall down with a loud shriek. He growls Taehyung's name, shaking, clawing the floor.
In the distance, a familiar boy comes running towards him. With a sweet growl, the boy falls to his knees and hugs the man.
Namjoon hisses angrily, growling, shrieking for Taehyung, to which a deep voice softly hushes him.
"I'm here..."
Jimin still cries and pants as uncontrolled growls and whimpers come from him, his nails rip Hoseok's robes, eyes shut tightly with the pain of doubling over.
Hoseok still holds onto him, teary eyed. He hates this. He didn't want this.
He growls a whimpers apologies, still holding tightly onto Jimin's body. Jimin shrieks, crying out in pain until he sets his teeth in Hoseok's neck.
Hoseok screams in return, hearing Jimin's soft sniffles and a deep growl.
"Now we're even..." He mutters, panting and sniffling.
Hoseok nods, still refusing to let go of him. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..."
"Why?"
"Jiyong... He told me you'll either get eaten or killed out there. I didn't want you to die... You're too precious."
"So you decided to turn me instead?" Jimin mumbles. "I'm... disappointed in you."
Hoseok bites his quivering lip, drawing blood. "I know... I'm disappointed in myself as well. If I had been more careful... I was careless and being selfish for demanding to to go away, for helping Yoongi when Namjoon had him."
Jimin shakes his head. "I'm disappointed because you weren't honest with me. In your mail you told me you were married. I found your documents..."
Hoseok looks down. "I'm sorry. I didn't want to seem like a classic scientist who dedicates his life to work."
"You're divorced. Married for two years. The reason was an affair. I can smell it on you. The disgust." Jimin growls. "You still have her scent even though you haven't been close to her in seemingly six years. You still have something of her."
Hoseok sighs deeply. "She had an old plushy of mine. It had value to me, but she slept with it more than I did."
Jimin growls deeply. "You need to throw it away. Get rid of this woman."
"She was my wife. It's something I can't easily forget--!"
Hoseok's eyes widen when Jimin's sharp claws stab into his jaw, pulling him close to connect their lips.
They're soft, although the rough feeling, Hoseok feels warm. Jimin is gentle, soft and sweet.
Slowly, Hoseok melts into his touch. It's been years since he got this love. This warmth.
"Are you ready to forget now?" Jimin asks softly once they part, gently pulling his nails from Hoseok's skin.
Blood trickles down his neck, but neither of them care. Instead Hoseok nods and pulls Jimin in for another kiss.
"I think I am..."
