Yoongi stares at the letter that's been given him. His aunt looks at him.

"I'm transferring schools again?" Yoongi asks softly.

"Hmhm." His aunt nods, taking a sip of her coffee. "To a boy's school this time."

"... Why?"

His aunt grins at him. "Is it a problem? You're eighteen and you never brought a girl home. It's not like you'll date someone in your school years."

Yoongi chuckles and nods. He keeps his options open.

He grabs the remote and clicks the TV on, smiling at his aunt who scoffs at his TV addiction.

But Yoongi's smile falls into a serious frown.

The news is on. It's telling them about murders, suicides, and dramas.

A show... No, not a show. Video proof.

A man, kneeling down, crying and screaming with a bloodied knife in his hands, two other men on the floor and a picture of, what to assume is his wife, clutched against his chest.

The man swings the knife, until he screams in agony. The video cuts off, right as the knife lunges for his own stomach.

"Another Mono has lost a Probe. These six words are becoming more and more recent to this day. Scientists have realized this reason, after years of examining the reason for so many monochrome people involved murders and suicides."

Yoongi knows.

He knows, because he is a monochrome himself.

"Aish." His aunt grumbles, turning the TV on a different channel. "Why are you watching that."

Yoongi looks down at his lap. His hands are a light shade of grey in his eyes. He lives in a world of monotone colors. Different shades of grey and black.

Moonlight grey, silver grey, black grey, metal grey, black...

Those are the most common shades he sees.

All Monos have a Probe. Probes allow them to see color. Their face is the only thing that can show them color.

But as the news showed... Once a Mono meets his Probe, they'll become obsessed with color. So much that they'll go insane once they don't.

That's why Yoongi isn't interested in meeting his Probe. He is afraid of becoming insane like them.

But with an all boy's school he won't have to worry. Most male Monos are accompanied by a female Probe. It has been very rare to see same sex Monos and Probes.

°•●•°

Yoongi stares into the grey classroom. His teacher, a young adult who looks like he just slipped out of bed, tells him to introduce himself.

"My name is Min Yoongi." Is all he says.

The teacher simply leaves it at that since it technically is what he asked for and tells him to seat himself in an empty seat.

There are two.

One in the near corner, diagonally the second chair in the row from the corner of the far end of the wall, and in the exact middle of the class.

Yoongi choose the first option.

Once he's seated, the teacher starts counting students. But he frowns a little.

"Ah, Namjoon? We're missing someone."

The boy who sits from Yoongi's left against the wall grins sheepishly and leans aside.

It reveals a sleeping boy. Pitch black silky hair draping down, head aiming to the window, hoodie drawn over his head.

"Ah..."

Namjoon smiles at the teacher's obvious response.

"Sleeping again... He must have a really busy day."

Namjoon only nods.

"Right." The teacher claps his hands. "I'll go get changed into my uniform. See you guys in first period, no talking, just homework last checks!"

With that, the teacher goes.

Yoongi reaches into his backpack for something, grabbing it when he hears a little cough beside him.

He looks up.

It's the guy from before, Namjoon.

"Hey..." He starts softly. "I'm the class president, Kim Namjoon."

"Surely not the smartest but at least the best!"

"Yah!" Namjoon snaps at the guy behind Yoongi.

Looking over, it reveals a boy with bright eyes and plump lips.

"I'm Seokjin! Kim Seokjin!"

Then he points over at the sleeping guy.

"That's Jung Hoseok, he's a k-pop trainee too!"

Yoongi frowns. "... Too?"

Namjoon looks at him. "You have a really handsome face. You are a k-pop trainee, right? Hoseok here is too."

Yoongi shakes his head. "No..."

"Eh?"

"What?"

Both Seokjin and Namjoon look dumbfounded at the older, who shyly looks back at his colorslider.

A gift from his mother before she went missing.

He looks back, however, when he hears a soft groan.

Jung Hoseok...

He slowly stretches his arms out, groaning as he slowly awakens. He lifts his face, revealing a black mask covering the bottom half of his face.

It leaves only what is underneath to the imagination.

Sharp eyes glare at Yoongi the moment they make eye contact. His hair is a bit messy, but Yoongi can practically feel the scowl.

His eyes soften. "Woah... You're really pretty..."

"... I'm not..." Yoongi mutters, leaning back.

"Gorgeous..." Hoseok whispers softly, jabbing Seokjin with his elbow. "Is he a trainee?"

"He isn't--"

"I'm not--"

"Do you need my advise? I'm a trainee too. I'll tell you which places to watch out for."

Yoongi shakes his head. "No thanks."

"Not even modeling?"

Again he shakes his head.

Hoseok frowns. "But then what will you do?"

"I'm not interested in agencies or trainee stuff." Yoongi replies in a mutter.

All three men are utterly shocked at his words. Such a gorgeous man, staying in the dark shadows

Hoseok frowns a little, looking down at what Yoongi is fiddling in his hands. His frown deepens.

As soon as the teacher comes back inside, the class has already died down and obediently gone to work.

But Yoongi can feel Hoseok staring holes in his back as the younger falls back asleep after a few minutes.

°•●•°

The first class is over. Yoongi has grabbed his bag, but he hasn't left the classroom yet. He stares at a poster.

The Color Festival of the school. Once a year.

There are dusts and explosions of color on the poster, which Yoongi desperately tries to identify with his colorslider.

Until a certain someone comes to stand next to him.

A finger points at the explosion in the full left, the middle, the right. Tapping six different spots with the same color.

"Baby blue."

"I don't want your help." Yoongi grumbles.

"You're colorblind."

"I'm not." Yoongi snaps. "I'm... monochrome..." He mutters.

Hoseok's eyes widen from behind the mask. "Monochrome... How fascinating..."

Yoongi scoffs. "Shut up."

In the back of the class, Namjoon eats his small break snack, smirking at how the two stand together.

Seokjin wraps an arm around him, holding Namjoon's notebook in one and a cup of red liquid in the other.

Namjoon makes a small photo frame with his fingers and exhales with an exclaimed sigh.

"Ah! Look at them! The perfect couple!"

"When's the wedding?" Seokjin grins.

Namjoon looks up at him at the hand over his shoulder. His eyes widen and he snatches the notebook from his hands, cheeks dusting a bright pink.

"Where did you find that?!"

Yoongi, in the mean time, keeps telling Hoseok to leave him alone, but the man just won't.

"I'll make a deal with you." Hoseok smirks underneath his mask. "I'll show you my face if you let me teach you colors."

"Get lost."

Hoseok chuckles as Yoongi dives back down to look at his colorslider. Slowly, he slides his black mask down. It reveals his face.

His share jawline and high cheeks, flawless pale skin and heart-shaped pink lips.

Yoongi turns to look at the shuffle.

But his eyes widen.

The moment his eyes settle on Hoseok's entire face, there is an explosion in his brain.

Brightness... Happiness... That boring world is gone in an instant as unknown warm and cold streaks keep flowing in Yoongi's vision.

It's all too much for him.

With a sigh, Yoongi falls to the floor with a loud thud, fainting in the classroom.

°•●•°

"Is this normal?"

"For most it is."

Hoseok sighs deeply as he looks down at an unconscious Yoongi, having been told by the nurse he's completely fine.

A thing the boy didn't know and what he had just been told, is that Yoongi is a specific type of colorblind.

A simpler version of it told by the nurse was that Yoongi probably had his first color rush and fainted.

Hoseok was explained that a color rush is caused by a Probe.

And it had him thinking.

How could a being like him, be a Probe to a boy? A human boy.

The nurse had left for some painkillers for when Yoongi would wake up. And Hoseok stands by Yoongi's side, his mask back on his face.

"Pretty boy..." He mumbles.

His eyes widen a little when he hears Yoongi groan.

The boy's eyes flutter open. The world was never this bright before. He blinks, gulping as he grabs his head.

"You should sit up." Hoseok says.

"Ah... No. I'm dizzy."

"That's exactly why."

Hoseok grabs Yoongi's shoulders, gently settling him to sit.

Yoongi feels his head spin. Something isn't right...

He looks down at his lap, his eyes widen. His hand... It isn't grey. He holds it in front of his face, looking at his hand from every angle, down to his arm, his uniform and his pants.

The blue color is deep. He gently caresses the silky material, looking around.

"That's the color of the ocean."

Yoongi snaps his head to look at Hoseok. His eyes look him over. He wears the same uniform as him, only the jacket over a red hoodie.

"What... color is that?"

Hoseok looks down as Yoongi's trembling fingers intertwine with his hoodie.

"Cherry red."

"Cherry red..." Yoongi repeats, looking back down at his pants.

The world of color... It's so bright... so happy. A smile breaks on his lips.

He flinches, however, when two arms wrap around his waist.

Hoseok's pale hands squeeze at his sides.

Yoongi slaps his hands away in sheer panic, screaming at him to let go.

Hoseok himself flinches a bit at his outburst.

"No one can touch me like that all suddenly..." Yoongi pants.

"But... am I not supposed to be with you?"

"I barely know you."

"But we are no strangers." Hoseok shakes his head, leaning over Yoongi's sitting position as the older tilts his head back to look at him.

For a moment, Hoseok's eyes flash brightly, showing a color different than his eyes before.

Until Yoongi's hand shakily reaches to touch Hoseok's cheek.

His vision flashes, every bright and warm color turning dull and grey once again... Like it always has been.

"No... No, no, no, come back..."

"What's wrong?"

"The colors... They're disappearing..."

Hoseok sighs a little. "Decoloring. How fascinating."

Yoongi shakes his head violently. "No... No!"

He angrily grips the sheets as Hoseok lays a hand on his hair, gently stroking his hair.

"I can show you color. We must be fate."

Yoongi shakes his head again. "I still don't know you."

He gets up, but his body wobbles from his color rush.

Hoseok cocks his head. What a stubborn boy.

"We belong together." He says. "Don't we? Monos and Probes belong together."

Yoongi freezes. It only dawns on him now. He has a Probe. He found his Probe. He found the one he never wanted to meet.

But the colors he saw were so... bright. So happy...

He shakes his head.

"A Mono doesn't need a Probe."

"Don't you want to learn the colors?"

Yoongi frowns at him. "No."

Hoseok scoffs a little and holds Yoongi's swaying body. He really is a stubborn kid. Doesn't he want to see like any other person?

Yoongi groans a little, but lets Hoseok hold him as they leave the office after telling the nurse he's fine without the painkillers.

The day goes with Hoseok constantly being closer to Yoongi. He's pressuring him. Constantly telling him a Probe must be with his Mono and a Mono must be with his Probe. That they are meant to be.

But Yoongi is afraid.

He saw colors... But what is next for him?

°•●•°

Hoseok groans when he drops his backpack home, immediately letting go of his human pressuring.

He runs a hand through his hair as he lets out a frustrated demonic growl, punching the wall with such force there is a hole in it.

"And that's the third time this week. Same spot. You really manage to suck us empty on money."

The sound of his brother's voice makes Hoseok even angrier.

"Shut up Tae."

"Ah, don't be like that!" His brother laughs, mockingly smirking at him from the stairs, leaning over the railing.

They share the same horns. Just a little different.

Taehyung's are longer in length, not as curvy as Hoseok's are. They form a Z shape, curving up to the ceiling.

Hoseok's are a bit more curvy, almost aiming to that around a ram, but spacious and higher on his head. It doesn't reach his ears, but above it, whereas Taehyung's are just slightly curving to the outside.

"What happened?" Taehyung grins.

Hoseok rolls his eyes with a scowl at the thought. "I met a new human today."

"You're screwed."

"Even more now." Hoseok growls, throwing his bag into the closet and slamming the door. "He's colorblind. A monochrome."

"Aren't those the thingies on the news?"

Hoseok nods, sitting in the hallway and looking up at him. "I'm his Probe."

"His what?"

"He can see colors if he looks at my face." Hoseok explains, pulling off his mask and growling out at the relief. "But he doesn't want to see my face. He experienced his first rush today and refused to get another one."

Taehyung cocks one of his brows. "Shouldn't he want this? I mean, you're a demon! Son of the mighty Mammon!"

"That's our uncle."

"Practically our dad." Taehyung shrugs. "Besides, you have a hoarding habit."

"That's moms."

"And I got dads vicious charms."

"Flattering." Hoseok rolls his eyes. "I'm confused, though. This humans is monochrome. If I am his Probe, does that mean he should be with me?"

His brother shrugs again. "Demonic mating rituals have died over millenials ago. We never checked if it was. Especially at your age."

Hoseok groans. "Where's mom?"

"Shopping for food. She's going to try and bribe for some raw steak."

"Again? She's getting old, Asmodeus' charms won't work on her."

"It did a while ago. Dad fell for her like a brick in chains."

"Yeah, but he left us for years before coming back." Hoseok growls. "Humans are so disappointing."

The door opens, both demons turning to look at their mother coming in, squealing and happily jumping up and down like a twenty-year old.

"TaeTae! Baby! I did it!"

"You did it?!"

"I got the steak for free! Even a full chicken!"

Hoseok feels his mouth watering. "Afternoon, mom." He grins.

"Hobi! My beautiful sin!"

"I told you not to call me beautiful!" Hoseok whines, hugging his mom with a slight smile. "I'm a badass demon! Not some cute human femboy."

His mom giggles at him until she notices the bits and pieces of wall on the floor. Her eyes trail to the hole in the wall and the slight bit of glinstering black blood that trickles down Hoseok's fist.

Her smile turns into a frown where Hoseok grins sheepishly.

He hisses out in pain when his mom grabs the shell of his ear with her sharp nails, pulling at it.

"What did I tell you about destroying the house?!"

"Not to do it..."

"What did you do?!"

"... I destroyed it."

His mom lets go of him, slamming the door closed and growling at her son. "That's less steak for you."

"What?! That's so unfair!!" Hoseok whines.

"Ha! More for me!"

Hoseok growls loudly at his brother. "Shut up!"

"You two are nearly a hundred years old and you still act like twenty year-olds." Their moms sighs.

Hoseok bites his lip with his sharp fang. "Mom... Can I have a word with you in private?"

His mother nods, sending Taehyung into the kitchen to prime for a slaughter. The younger demon whines, saying he had a cam-boy that started streaming soon and he wanted to be there, but his mom is no joking around.

As Hoseok takes a seat in the comfortable living room chair made of wolf fur, he sighs and immediately slumps down.

He relaxes a bit. Thinking the entire situation over again.

He is a Probe. But he's a demon. A literal being from Hell. A sin in church and to all living beings, he's a monster.

"Mom, are mates still a thing?" Hoseok asks softly.

His mother, taken a bit aback, stammers a little. "Well... I- Maybe... I honestly don't know... Why do you ask?"

"There is this new guy at school." Hoseok mumbles. "His name is Yoongi, and he's absolutely gorgeous. The most beautiful human I've ever seen in all my life. My demon existence seemed a joke when I saw him glaring at me. He looked like he was about to kill me. It was the hottest thing I ever witnessed."

His mother tilts her head, listening thoughtfully.

"But it turns out he's a monochrome. A human who sees the world in shades of grey. But there is a single person on the planet for them, a Probe. Their face allows them to see color."

His mother nods. "Those humans on the talking box."

"It's a television."

"Same thing."

Hoseok chuckles. "I am his Probe. I showed him my face, curious to see if he would be scared to have seen my fangs like that. But he just stumbled and fainted. The nurse told me that he'd experience his first color rush. He was so fascinated by what we see, but when the colors went away he became extremely upset. But when I offered him a deal he refused."

Hoseok sighs deeply, looking down at his sharp nails. If looks could kill, Hoseok would be dead right now.

He wears the mask as a facade. A way to hide his demonic fangs. The only thing demons can never hide from humanity.

It's true that some have seen his face. Vampire Seokjin and Shapeshifter Namjoon.

None of his friends are human. Why would he be friends with mortals. He has no use of them.

Namjoon bribes them. He's pure evil, his intelligence is higher than any living breathing being, although pushing forth to only have an IQ of 148, his true IQ comes almost above a thousand, knowledge of all those before him mashed into him.

A shapeshifter feeds of misery and suffering. Namjoon feeds of deception and lies.

He feeds easily, when simeone tells a lie, he can suck it up and take their memory from it, instantly making them forget their lie and start confessing.

It's amusing for a being like him to watch humanity unfold.

Seokjin feeds off human blood. His strength is one of the strongest in the entire universe, having determination and pride to help him into getting invited into their home before he kills them, torturing them into their final screams.

He's killed off families, children, even animals for his personal satisfaction.

And Hoseok? Hoseok has yet to do.

He's the youngest out of all of them, with Namjoon being halfway three hundred and Seokjin with nearly five hundred years on their record.

Hoseok wants to catch up. But he wanted to beat them. The moment he joined the human school, they did too, to accompany him in his successful story of the so-called K-Pop Trainee.

He's training, but not to sing or dance. But to kill.

And if Yoongi is his mate, he's going to have to find someone else to test out on.

Hoseok's mother hums a little and nods. "I see. It sounds like this Yoongi human is simply someone who needs you. It won't slow you down. If you really want to know about mate stuff, ask your great grandfather."

Hoseok nods softly. "Than I will. Thanks mom."

"Anytime, my beautiful sin."

"Mooom!"

°•●•°

The next day, Yoongi is avoiding Hoseok as much as possible. The boy still wears his mask, thankfully.

The reason he heard was that if he gets famous he has to get used to wearing a mask all the time.

But Yoongi calls bullshit.

He is a fanboy of idol groups and none of them constantly wear masks in public.

Hoseok is just lying out of his throat.

But Yoongi doesn't care why he wears the mask. He kept thinking last night. So much that he couldn't sleep.

Cherry red, ocean blue... So many different colors on the paper scheme, the sky gorgeous and bright.

He wants every color...

But he shouldn't. He can't. Not anymore. Colors are just stupid.

He fiddles with his colorslider, flinching when he feels warm breathing in the nape of his neck.

"Can you see the difference between the grey colors and the actual colors when your world is grim and cold?"

"You make it sound as if it's a bad thing." Yoongi grumbles.

"I'm telling you the truth." Hoseok shrugs.

Yoongi huffs when Hoseok's finger separates two parts.

"These are the greys." He says, pointing at the left rows. "These are colors."

Yoongi's eyes follow Hoseok's finger.

"The letters stand for every color section. The R is for red. RY is for red-yellow, and so on, so on. Every color of the rainbow and more, until the last color ends with it's connection at the start. PR, stands for purple-red. It's a circle, connecting, just like we do."

Yoongi thinks over his words, after having every color explained to him.

"Leave me alone."

"I'm your Probe. We are meant to be."

"I don't need colors."

"Liar." Hoseok whispers. "Why do you still have it then?"

Yoongi shrugs. "I guess to identify if it's actually grey or a color."

Hoseok growls at him. "You have me for that. I can show you colors. With me you'll see the world."

Yoongi shakes his head. "I'm helping Namjoon and Seokjin today. Leave me alone..."

"They're my friends too."

Yoongi sighs. "Just let me to think for today, okay? That's all I ask."

Hoseok sighs deeply, pulling away. "Fine. But I'll have to show you something in our break."

Yoongi gives him a simple nod, making Hoseok smirk.

He walks back to his other two friends, greeting them with a wide smile underneath his mask.

Unlike demons, vampires and shapeshifters can fully hide their true forms.

Shapeshifters simply take on the form of a human they've killed and adjust their voice.

Vampires can retract their fangs and put in contacts.

But demons have no retractable teeth. Their sharp edges will be visible whenever Hoseok opens his mouth without a mask. That is why it's so dangerous for Hoseok to be in a human school.

But who doesn't like a little danger? What are they going to do? Expel him? Send him home to a family full of demons? Tell him to stop playing pretend?

Hoseok can laugh at the misery of humans and their foolish beliefs.

"What did he say?" Namjoon asks.

Hoseok smirks. "He agreed."

"So soon?"

"He told me to leave him alone. Eventually he'll fall. I just have to push through that pretty skull of his."

Seokjin scoffs. "He's such a pretty human. Who would deny you? I thought you had Asmodeus' charms?"

"My mom has them."

Seokjin nods in understanding. "I still think you should just take him. I've heard the seniors talking about him. No one knows you're his Probe. No even knows he's monochrome except for our class."

Namjoon nods. "When I fed last night, I saw a group of students walking by." He whispers. "They were talking about how quiet and easy Yoongi is to take and push around. They're planning on using his shyness."

"He's a fierce human." Hoseok grumbles. "I'll allow them to try."

"What will you show him today?" Namjoon asks.

"I want him to realize he needs me." Hoseok growls. "I want him to see his colorslider and the rainbow using that fucked prisma of yours."

Namjoon grins. "You're using my fucking soul, a little respect is appreciated."

Hoseok growls at him, grinning. "Your soul is good for something."

Seokjin bursts into laughter at Namjoon's scowl. "Your soul is literally darker than mine!"

"Well, my human body died centuries ago."

"You have done bad shit when you were human."

Namjoon nods proudly. "Humans are scared to be bad. Even Jimin and his pack can't top what we used to do back in the days."

Hoseok rolls his eyes. "Keep him busy. His mind on me. I want the boy in a good mood when I take him."

His two friends nod, smirking at each other.

°•●•°

In the break after cleaning the empty classrooms, Seokjin holds out a bag. They sit on the stairs while everyone else is in the cafeteria. The scent makes Namjoon's eyes widen.

"Your mom baked again?!"

"She did! Special receipe for Yoongles here." Seokjin laughs when Yoongi scowls at the nickname.

"Hey!" Namjoon whines when Seokjin hands Yoongi a filled cookie but holds the bag away from Namjoon.

Yoongi chuckles at how Namjoon reaches for it, falling over on Seokjin's legs.

Seokjin almost bares his fangs, but instead, starts laughing at how Namjoon simply snatches his cookie out of his hands.

"What's in this?" Yoongi asks, still chewing on his bite. "It's really good!"

"Strawberry jam. My mom makes it herself." Seokjin grins, winking at Namjoon who immediately gets it.

"Hey!"

Yoongi turns to look.

Right... He promised.

Hoseok jumps up the stairs and leans on the railing.

"What do you all got?" Hoseok asks.

"Ahro's cookies." Namjoon hums.

"And you aren't going to share with me?" Hoseok pouts, grabbing the entire bag from an unsuspecting Seokjin.

Hoseok points at Yoongi, nibbling on his cookie. "You coming?"

Yoongi sighs and nods. "Sorry guys, idiot calls."

"Hey!"

"Hope you make it out alive." Namjoon laughs.

"Very funny." Yoongi rolls his eyes, following Hoseok.

They enter an empty classroom, the lights turned off.

Yoongi hesitantly follows Hoseok. Everything is so dark he can barely see the difference between things. He already bumped into a metal table.

Hoseok holds his hand to guide him. He has perfect nightvision.

"In here." He whispers softly.

Yoongi exhales softly, being sat down into a chair. "Why did you bring me here?"

Hoseok holds out the flashlight of his phone, shining it through a white crystal.

Yoongi gulps. He can see seven different shades of grey.

Hoseok tilts Yoongi's head, clicking the flashlight off and putting it on a shelf.

"I'm showing you a rainbow today." He says softly, pulling his mask down.

Yoongi looks away, not wanting to be tempted into obsession. His sleepless night proved his assumption.

Hoseok tilts his head back, Yoongi's eyes widening when he freezes. Against his mind blacks out, brightness entering his vision.

His head swings, becoming dizzy as he faints in Hoseok's arms.

Hoseok smirks a little, taking the crystal and immediately laying the cold against his head.

Yoongi's body jolts in his grip, back arching, a loud inhumane growl ripping from his lips.

Hoseok feels his heart jump at the sound. Even in Yoongi's cold voice, the growl is fully formed and aimed to him, clearly.

Growling like that is cussing. And Hoseok already loves the progress he's making.

He pulls the crystal away, noticing Yoongi's heartrate jumping back to normal.

The human blinks a little, groaning in Hoseok's arms as he sits back up, still a bit dizzy.

But Hoseok grabs the flashlight and crystal, already showing the colors before Yoongi could turn away.

His eyes grow wide, following the colors.

"This is a rainbow." Hoseok says softly. "Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet."

Yoongi reaches out his hand, mesmerized by the colors. "Can I touch it?"

Hoseok smiles at him, his heart melting a little at his soft question. "You can touch it all you want."

Yoongi blinks, hesitantly touching the wall with the colors.

"Do you like it?"

"Yes..."

"What if I show you this?"

Yoongi turns to look when the light is turned on. His eyes sparkle with joy as Hoseok holds up his colorslider, parted the way he did before.

The parts grey separated from all colors...

It's the prettiest thing Yoongi has ever seen.

"Woah..."

"Do you want to learn this?" Hoseok smirks. "Than make a deal with me."

"You make it sound as if I'm about to make a deal with the Devil..." Yoongi mumbles, caressing every color.

Hoseok chuckles a little, pulling Yoongi in his embrace. Yoongi doesn't even mind. He lays his head on Hoseok's shoulder, caressing the new color shirt.

"Moss green." Hoseok chuckles. "And you're wearing lemon yellow."

Yoongi looks down at his hoodie, smiling widely. But he starts frowning when his vision starts flickering back to grey.

"No..."

"Decoloring again?"

Yoongi nods. "Again. Look at me! Show me the colors!" He screams.

Hoseok's eyes widen a little at his outburst, his welling tears, his hands clutching his shirt.

"You don't want to push me away?"

"In these past two days I've seen more than I ever have." Yoongi whimpers. "I don't want it to leave... Please, show me the colors again..."

Hoseok smiles at him, pulling his mask down, this time, revealing his sharp teeth.

Yoongi's eyes widen at the sight. He's colorblind, but pretty sure humans are not supposed to have such teeth.

Hoseok immediately covers his mouth, growling at his stupid mistake.

"Fuck!"

Yoongi hesitantly slides his tongue over the bottom of his teeth. "What...?"

Hoseok immediately growls at him, baring his sharp teeth. "You tell no one about this! Got it?!" He snarls. "You never saw this!"

Yoongi gulps, nodding quickly.

Hoseok sighs deeply, locking the door, running a hand through his hair.

Two horns quickly become visible to Yoongi, his eyes widening at the layered bones.

"What are you?!" He screams, his body backing away from a scowling Hoseok.

The demon growls at him. "I'm a fucking fairy, alright?!" He yells. "No, you stupid mortal! I'm a demon!"

Yoongi gulps a nervous ball down his throat, looking down. Seeing Hoseok like that in color is terrifying.

Blood red eyes staring him down, deep black horns curving. It makes the kind and adorable trainee look so dark and dangerous.

Is it even the same person?

"I can't fucking believe it." Hoseok scoffs. "You're actually scared of me!"

Yoongi's hands are shaking, his eyes welling with tears. He's gonna die...

"What? You think I'll kill you?" Hoseok laughs. "No, darling, no. I'm your Probe."

Yoongi shivers at the growl that fills his ears, Hoseok's sharp nail curling under his chin, his deep voice chilling down his spine.

"And you are my Mono."

As Yoongi feels his colors flash again, he dares to look up at Hoseok. He wants to keep seeing them.

But having so many rushes at once makes him dizzy. He sways a little, his legs wobbling and weak. He gives Hoseok a quiet apology before fainting in his arms again.

°•●•°

Hoseok rubs his cheek, growling at his mother. Her hand is sharp.

"I warned you for this! This is why you shouldn't have been so ambitious!"

"Mom, I brought him here. He'll wake up soon so please calm down. You'll scare him even more."

"That's exactly my point!"

Hoseok growls at her. "I do not want you scaring him! I'm his Probe! His mate!"

"The Mating Rituals have left years ago!" His mother yells angrily. "Your father would think so too!"

"Well he isn't here right now!" Hoseok snaps. "I am the oldest male! It's my duty to carry on the gen!"

"With another male you can't! Especially humans!"

Hoseok's grin grows. "But demons can."

His mother groans and yells out in annoyance, cussing at her son as she stomps away.

Hoseok sighs, landing in his comfortable chair, staring at Yoongi's sleeping body.

Being in a home full of demons already casts out demonic energy that clearly shows on him.

The way he clenches and unclenches his fists, the way he sometimes growls, the way he frowns.

Hoseok looks up from his thought when Yoongi groans softly, sitting up.

The human immediately scoots as far away as possible when he sees Hoseok.

The demon frowns. "I kept you alive. I want to keep you alive. Yet you still fear me. Why?"

"You're a demon!" Taehyung laughs from the kitchen, coming up and leaning over the back of the couch, crumbling his cookie all over Yoongi's shirt.

The human's eyes only grow wider.

"Y-you... THERE ARE MORE?!!"

"You think there is one demon?" Taehyung rolls his eyes and shakes his head with a laugh. "You have a dumb mate."

"MATE?!!"

Hoseok chuckles a little. "Come on Tae, you're scaring my little sin."

"Aw, a nickname." Taehyung coos. "How disgusting."

"Says you. You like that werewolf guy."

"His name is Jungkook and he's a perfectly fine beta." Taehyung growls.

Hoseok chuckles, looking back at Yoongi, who is looking around him like a mad man.

"Colors..." He mumbles, grabbing his hair. "So many colors..."

Taehyung cocks his brow. "The monochrome guy?"

Hoseok nods. "I no longer have a need to hide my face anymore." He says. "So all the colors are yours. If you choose to stay with me."

Yoongi looks at him, gulping. "Will you eat my soul?"

"Little bits and pieces of it. But we mostly eat raw meat and flesh. We can probably cook it up for you. I'm an extremely good cook."

Taehyung scoffs. "Yeah, but we never eat it. Cooked meat is disgusting."

Hoseok rolls his eyes, waving his brother away.

Yoongi stares at him with wide eyes. He will never have to see grey ever again.

Instantly he nods. "Please... Keep showing me colors... Keep showing me everything."

Hoseok chuckles, slowly kneeling down by the couch. "We demons used to have mates a very long time ago. A mating ritual, to find ouf if you truly were destined."

"What are you implying, demon boy?"

"If you are my mono, you are my mate. I never want to part from you. I want to show you what I can do and what you can become. I can show you a forever in this world a normal human mate could never."

"What benefits it for me to become a monster?" Yoongi sneers.

Hoseok frowns. "I have horns and red eyes and you still call me a monster? I'm not that different from you."

"You're no human."

"Animals aren't either."

Yoongi huffs. "I'm still shaken."

"I get that." Hoseok nods. "But truly, I want nothing bad with you."

"I barely know you!"

"And if you finish this deal with me we can have millenials to do so!"

"FINE!" Yoongi screams. "I DOUBT YOU HAVE THE POWER TO DO ANYTHING TO ME!!"

Hoseok grins, scoffing a little. "You're feisty. But stupid."

"Hey!"

"I can do a lot of things." Hoseok chuckles. "To you humans I'm old. A hundred years is your life span. But to demons, life is just getting started. I can create a completely new version of you in whatever way I want. All I need is your body and soul."

Yoongi's eyes widen a little at his sinister laughter, only now realizing he acted out of fear.

He finished the deal with a demon.

Hoseok tightly grabs Yoongi's hair, pulling it as far back that Yoongi cries out at the exposion.

Hoseok drags his nail from Yoongi's adam's apple to the center of his chest, pressing down.

Yoongi screams out in pain, the nail digging deep into his skin.

There is a dim glow coming from the tiny hole of the claw-like nail as Hoseok growls in hunger, taking both his hands and trying to fit all his nails into the tiny wound, ripping open the skin and flesh.

Yoongi reaches to hug his open chest, but two hands grab his wrists, leaving him to cry as blood seeps out of his chest onto the couch, staining his clothes and the wooden floor.

Taehyung ties his hands together with leather cuffs, clipping them with a leash-like chain to a choker with a ring, clipping it on the human, who can't do anything but cry.

"It comes to use somehow. It fits his neck too." Taehyung grins.

"It does." Hoseok growls.

Looking into Yoongi's chest, he sees the dim shining orb.

He snaps his claw inside and rips the orb out, no mercy, his hand covered in thick blood.

"Damn." Taehyung grumbles. "Big soul, hopelessly sad."

"It only proves about him."

Hoseok grabs his backpack, grabbing the crystal from before, pressing it close to Yoongi's soul.

It flickers brightly, going from its grey form to a bright white and a deep black, flickering with the three colors.

"He's determined." Taehyung smirks. "Be quick though, his heart is slowing down."

"I'm trying." Hoseok grumbles. "If he really wanted to stay human he would have screamed that at me instead of giving stupid mortal excuses!"

Yoongi lets out a scream at Hoseok's words, his eyes shutting tight, the soul in Hoseok's hands smoking pure black fog, the crystal feeling hot, almost melting in Hoseok's hands.

"OW! WHAT THE HELL?!!" Hoseok growls loudly, dropping the crystal, nearly shattering it as it barely missed the floor and bounced on the couch, tightly holding onto the soul, no matter the burn.

Yoongi pants, his chest heaving as he lets out a loud demonic shriek, grabbing onto his chin and throat, clawing it it until it's bleeding.

"Feel more confident, Hoseok."

Hoseok looks up at his mother at the end, leaning against the wall with a sigh.

She smiles at him. "Give your demonic energy to him. Be confident, so he may live confidently. You transfer your energy into his soul."

Hoseok gives her a single nod, clenching his jaw as he digs his nails into the violently burning soul.

"The fact that this is happening..." His mother says softly. "The fog, the darkness... You two are destined to be together."

Hoseok growls loudly, feeling his energy connecting. He can feel Yoongi. He can see for a moment. A world of grey.

It angers him.

With a loud demonic roar, Hoseok slams the black soul back in Yoongi's chest, Taehyung immediately hovering his hand over it so it can't escape whilst Hoseok slowly heals Yoongi's open wound.

Yoongi's screams only become louder, feeling himself growing darker.

His vision faintly shudders from color to grey again, only angering him as he desperately tries to pull himself out of the choker to force Hoseok to look at him.

Loud demonic noises and growls erupt from his throat, his voice adapting to it.

His mother's eyes widen. "Where did he learn that?" She scowls.

"I never tought him how to bless!" Taehyung holds up his hands. "I don't fucking know him!"

"I didn't either! When I prepared his soul he already cussed at me!" Hoseok whines.

Yoongi growls at each one of them, blessing and cussing every word he knows.

Tiny horns slowly show themselves from his black hair, blood trickling down his face at their layer structure ripped his skull open.

Hoseok slowly undoes the cuffs on his hands, yelping slightly as Yoongi immediately grabs his hair and pulls him over so hard that Hoseok loses his balance.

He growls at the younger newly turned, but scoffs a little when he sees Yoongi's gaze soften.

"Your colors were going away?"

Yoongi nods quietly, panting, calming down from what had happened.

He looks down at himself, this time not passing out as the colors flicker back into his sight.

His humanity has been taken from him. He no longer faints for something simple as this.

He rubs a little over the healing scar, taking a deep breath.

"There's something on my face?" He asks softly, noticing Hoseok's stare.

The demon nods. "Blood. Lots of it."

"Yeah. I feel it." Yoongi grumbles.

He cracks his neck to the side, stretching his body. He doesn't feel dizzy or nauseous at all. He doesn't feel human either.

There is furious fire burning in his veins, warming his body, he can feel his skin around his horns stinging with pain. It'll heal over time.

Hoseok chuckles a little at how Yoongi looks around, taking his hand in his own and gently tugging at his smaller horns.

Yoongi flinches at the feeling, snaps his head away and growls loudly at him.

"Don't you dare."

"My mate. I can do whatever I want with you." Hoseok smirks.

Yoongi returns one. "Is that so?"

Hoseok whines when Yoongi pushes his head down, sliding onto Hoseok's back effortlessly and pulling at his horns, pulling Hoseok back up.

The older demon roars out in pain, vigorously trying to reach behind him to pull Yoongi off of him.

Taehyung bursts out in laughter, curling over at the sight of Hoseok running around and Yoongi practically steering him around with a loud mocking laugh.

"You made your point!" Hoseok roars. "Get off of me!"

Yoongi pulls one last time before sliding off, smirking at the older demon who grabs his horns in frustration, trying to ease the sensitive bones.

Yoongi grins, ears perking up when he hears the front door opening and closing.

"Hobi! I need my soul back! Where did you leave it you fuckta--"

Namjoon blinks a few times, pointing at Yoongi and Hoseok.

"You two?"

"Yeah." Hoseok nods. "Mated."

Namjoon sighs in relief. "I thought you were screwed. I could hear your mom screaming all the way from Hell."

"She screams loudly."

"I was going to ask you to stay for dinner but if you keep going I'll turn you into my dinnerplate."

Namjoon stiffens, turning and smiling sheepishly at Hoseok's mother, who stands there with a sly grin and crossed arms.

"O-oh... Miss Jung... Hello!"

Yoongi tilts his head a little, observing the woman. Her horns are similar to Taehyung and Hoseok's. She's clearly their mother.

"Did you know this?" He asks Namjoon, who nods.

"Yeah. Demons are very common in Hell. Strangely enough not the most of the population, but nearing at least a few million."

Yoongi growls a little. "And you are?"

Namjoon smiles at him. "I'm a shapeshifter. Proudly turned with it."

"A... shapeshifter?"

Namjoon grins a little, his body suddenly collapsing to the floor like water and reassembling like goo, his body taking a different form and face. Even voice.

"Quite simple." He says in a much more elegant voice.

"YOU ATE JUNGKOOK?!!"

"No! I told you all I need is some of their DNA! I drank his blood, not his entire body! Werewolves taste disgusting!" Namjoon complains, following the same ritual as before and collapsing, taking his old form.

Taehyung huffs. "Let me guess, Jin is coming too?"

"Jin, Jimin, and Kook. I invited him with to meet your creepy ass."

"YOU INVITED JUNGKOOK?!!"

"Yeah. Just don't start with saying "Hi I'm you how are Tae". You'll look even dumber."

Taehyung growls, but his eyes widen in a snap when the doorbell rings.

He mutters an excuse of having to change and rushes upstairs, not giving the two entering any time to see him.

Hoseok's mom shakes her head with a laugh, opening the door and letting the two inside.

The vampire, proudly showing his fangs and bowing towards the miss of the house. And the two werewolves, who nod at her.

Yoongi immediately growls at the three, eyes widening slightly when Seokjin's face pops into view.

The vampire cocks his head. "Oh? Have you mated?"

Yoongi growls at him as Hoseok nods, grabbing Yoongi's hand.

"Was about time."

Yoongi rolls his eyes, huffing a little, looking at Hoseok. "What about my aunt? She'll be worried sick and might get a heart attack if she sees me like this."

Namjoon shrugs. "For as far as I know, Hell has enough space. Becoming a shapeshifter is easy, as well as the vampire race. Werewolves are time based transformations and demons require a mate."

"So you're saying my angelic aunt deserves a place in Hell?"

"Heaven is terrible." Hoseok gags. "Rules, no emotions, no special things. No race, no behavior. I've been there as a punishment once. Everyone there follows the same rules, looks the same. They're all European-white-looking humans with blue eyes and white wings and stuff. They all walk the same. They all are the same. Hell has freedom."

Yoongi's face pulls in disgust. "Oh. Never mind that then. Turn her into whatever. Just don't make her an angel."

Hoseok bursts into laughter, pressing a deep kiss on Yoongi's lips, having the younger freeze in his track and flush red.

Namjoon chuckles, saluting Hoseok goodbye as his body collapses, reforming as an entire new creature, wings on his back, leaving the house, looking for the house of Yoongi's aunt.

One happy family, is a Hellish happy family.
