"You want to kill. I do it because I need it."

[\|<>|/]

"I don't care!" Yoongi snaps. After too many questions from Taehyung and Hoseok, and months of holding it in, he finally breaks to his roommates.

"I don't give two shits about who you met today! I don't care about how your fucking day was, because I'm still at work!" Yoongi yells, holding his laptop and pushing it right into Hoseok's face, his notebook in his other hand and pressing it against Taehyung's.

When Hoseok's face is freed, Yoongi sees the sad eyes. They're big and shaking, on the verge of crying, and his bottom lip is quivering. Yoongi doesn't care. Taehyung pouts sadly.

They think the same about their hyung. Too cold and lonely, shut off from the world. Yoongi keeps saying it's what writers are. They make books, they get the money from whether it sells or not, they make more books.

Taehyung and Hoseok have tried to change his mind, trying to get him to be more social.

But Yoongi pushes them off.

But every once in a while, when the sun starts to set, Yoongi lets his laptop go. He leaves the house and goes outside for a walk, to enjoy the breeze - if there is one - or to enjoy the fresh air.

Yoongi has to admit that he feels bad for yelling at his roommates. But they're so childish and annoying sometimes that he just... breaks.

Just like tonight he needs something to ease him with. His hands are buried in his pockets as he walks through the small hiking trail. There is no one around that time.

Rumors had it going that wolves had started to pack-up in there. But as always, Yoongi didn't care.

At the end of the small mountain, where he looked out over the small town, Yoongi sat on the lonely bench.

He quietly watched as the last of the townsfolk moves towards home in their cars or with groceries. Yoongi smiles to himself.

The one time he smiles to himself without any worries.

In between the leaves of the tree near him, a flexible creature sits on one of the branches, flipping a coin with an amused grin. His eyes are glowing red and his skin is paler than snow.

"Heads or tails, what'll it be?" The creatures mutters to himself. "Heads for turn, tails for meal." He grins, flipping the coin up.

He quickly catches it and smirks. His eyes glow slightly when he sees that it landed on heads. He slides off the branch, landing as quietly as the night on the grass and slowly walks towards the human, who watches the sunset and the night rise.

Yoongi's eyes widen and he immediately begins to struggle when he feels two hands wrap around his throat, squeezing tightly.

"What the fuck?!" Yoongi screams. "Shh..." The creature chuckles deeply. "Let it happen to you. You won't die." "Oh really?!" Yoongi spits. "Giving me false hope?! I think not!" He yells.

The creature grins. "I'm much stronger than you. Once you're tired, you'll be an easy prey." He purrs, liking a stripe from Yoongi's neck to his earlobe.

It sends shivers down his spine and slowly he begins to shake. The tongue feels long and smooth. Not at all human. It almost feels like a serpent tongue, but the same thickness as a human tongue and much softer, as if it melts with his skin.

Yoongi sighs. "May I look at my murderer?" "I'm not going to murder you. I fucking flipped a coin for my decision so be grateful. On the other hand, if you'd rather die..." "You didn't answer my question." Yoongi growls. "I'm afraid that you won't like the way I look. That you'll scramble away from me." The creature hisses, his words harden and become more hungry at the last sentence.

"I've seen shit. I can handle whatever you are." Yoongi snarls. The hands around his throat loosen and in the light of the moon behind him, he finally sees the creature step into his sight.

It's a male, hair long and dark like coal tied up into a man bun. He's tall and slightly buff. His eyes shine a deep red and his skin almost glows grey in the moonlight. His ears are slightly pointy and pierced with a cross earring. On a first look, he looks normal.

But then he reveals a toothy smirk. Fangs grow from his teeth and Yoongi was right about the serpent tongue when he flicks it over the fangs.

Yoongi's eyes widen in shock and fear. "What the fuck are you?!" He yells. The creature chuckles. "I'm the more modern version of what you call, a vampire. We're Xuinle." The creature growls. "And I flipped a coin for your life."

"How many of you live among the human society?" Yoongi asks, his voice trembling. "About two-seventh of the human society is a creature. Most of us are Faque, which is what you call demons. Ixue, which is what you call elves. And most of them are balanced by my kind and the Unika, which is what you call werewolves."

Yoongi blinks. "So... What?" "Can I turn you now or what? I don't have all night! I have a party to go to!" The creature snarls. "Of course. Sure. Whatever- Wait- Turn?"

"Oh, my fucking devil..."

"YOU'RE GOING TO TURN ME?!" Yoongi shrieks.

"Yes. That's the reason I'm here you fucking dipshit." "Oh, hell no! I have a book to write, two children at home, no wife or husband, and no life!" Yoongi panics. "Sounds like an excuse to me." The creature growls and towers over Yoongi's shrunken figure.

"For if you need to scream my name, it's Huicha. Chae Huicha."

Yoongi wants to yell at him, he wants to scream and run, but before he has taken a breath to yell Huicha's sharp fangs and buried in his neck.

The sting and burn run through his body, and with it comes a thick fluid that seems to make him weak. Yoongi screams out in pain, tears building up and falling from his eyes.

"FUCKING HELL! JEZUS CHRIST! JUST STOP! PLEASE!"

Yoongi's screams, begging and cries for help don't come to the Xuinle. But it makes him chuckle. Huicha slides his fangs out of the wound and caresses Yoongi's cheek that was stained with his tears.

"Don't worry, Young One. You'll learn once the venom spreads in your blood. Make sure to be... hydrated." He laughs darkly, licking a long stripe up Yoongi's neck that heals the wound.

It burns with Yoongi's body. He screams in utter pain and cries. His hands weakly grasp Huicha's shirt. The moonlight shines on him, and something snaps in him.

He feels his head pound and his heart slows down. Yoongi's eyes twitch and his jaw falls open from his weakness, mouthing a weak fuck you to the Xuile before his light fades and he passes out.

Huicha growls and leaves, picking up the coin from the grass and smirks. "Party time." He laughs, and Yoongi can hear it chasing him in the darkness of his mind.

Yoongi hisses and growls unconsciously, his hands balding to fists as he starts biting his lip with his growing fangs. His dyed platinum blonde hair fades into deep black, his skin becoming even paler.

Yoongi's hunger grows inside of him with every newly added ability in his transformation, his cravings grow stronger. Yoongi's very own serpent tongue glides over his lips.

The two split ends almost gluing together when it slips back inside his mouth.

His ears become pointier and suddenly, Yoongi can pick up on a few vague voices. They sound drunk.

Yoongi's nose picks up on a scent. A delicious scent. His eyes snap open, adrenaline sores through him as he calms his heavy breathing.

He feels... comfortable in his new body. Yoongi feels his fangs ache and itch to be used and he feels it. Dark thoughts cloud his mind as a devilishly dark smirk grows on his lips.

The voices are getting closer and Yoongi's fingers twitch to be ripping limbs apart.

"Oh! Heeeey dudee!" Yoongi's ear twitches when he hears one of the three talk to him. It's a boy, underage. Yoongi licks his dry lips, his eyes glowing a deep red.

"So like... Where's the party? That one hot hunk said it's here." A female asks. "What was his name?" Yoongi asks, biting his lip. "Hui... Hui something." "Huicha." "That." The third boy speaks up.

Yoongi chuckles. That's what the Xuile meant with a party. He brought him a meal. "The party is here." He growls, an unknown hiss rumbling in his throat. "Where's the music?" The girl asks.

"It'll be your screams." Yoongi hisses loudly. In a split second he's on top of her, his fangs sunken deep through her skin and sucking the life-source out of her.

He moans in delight at the taste, his hands wrapping around the girl's arms as she screams out in pain. Yoongi feels dark. He feels like a predator. Until he hears her heart die and hears her breathe her last breath, he rips her arms from her torso, and rips his fangs from her body.

He looks around. The two boys ran. A smirk crawl on Yoongi's face. They better run.

Yoongi hisses once something comes in his view. His ear twitches again when he hears someone slow clapping.

"Well done." Huicha's voice chuckles. "You've impressed me." "Have I?" Yoongi hisses. "Or am I just another one of your little games?" "Be careful with your words. I brought you another meal. You need all the strength you can get. We don't want you burning up when the sun rises, do we?"

Yoongi looks up at him. "Is this skill-lust normal?" "Very normal. Once the sun rises it'll decrease to a small part of your brain. You'll also become more human-like so that we won't be noticed by those pathetic mortals."

At only the word human Yoongi lets out a dark growl. Huicha drops the unconscious body of one of the boys who just ran from him. Yoongi licks his lips.

"Feast." Huicha chuckles when Yoongi rips the human apart mercilessly, drinking him empty. "I have roommates." Yoongi pants once he's done. "That's why I'll be joining you tonight. I'll be tutoring you over these upcoming nights and will help you control yourself. The first few nights is always a pain."

Yoongi looks up at him. "But it feels so fucking good." "Exactly. And that's where control comes in place." Huicha says, leading Yoongi back to town.

"Controlling yourself will be hard, but closing yourself off does not help. It's better to confront it. Let it wash over you and be prepared for a rush of uncontrollable thirst and hunger for killing. No matter how much you want it, your human body won't allow it."

Yoongi nods understandingly, listening to his every word whilst feeding himself.

"Are your roommates... playful?"

"Too playful." Yoongi growls. "I fucking hate it. I hate how Hoseok is always so happy and hyper. He's like a fucking dog. Taehyung is almost like a kangaroo, so bad."

"I feel sorry for the way you have to live." Huicha mumbles, shivering at only the imagination. "Try to send them away if you can. Outside or anything."

Yoongi nods again. "I'm pretty good at that."

At the end of the night when the sun begins to rise, Yoongi feels himself turn more human, but it doesn't hurt. Huicha smiles at him, shaking his hand firmly and wishing him luck, waving a see you tomorrow night to him and leaves in a speed Yoongi has yet to discover.

Yoongi quickly walks inside and messes his hair up a bit as if he had been up all night - which isn't exactly a lie - and lies down on the couch, throwing the thin decorative blanket over his body and closes his eyes.

For a moment he smiles, almost falling asleep when a loud crash awakes him. He can feel anger rushing in his veins when Hoseok runs down the stairs and grabs a glass of water, yelling a string of curses.

Yoongi breathes in and out, let out a rather loud annoyed hiss when Hoseok's gone. Already he regrets not dying. He sits up angrily.

He isn't hungry. Just thirsty. He should go to town, see if there are any good meals for him walking on the highways. Yoongi licks his lips at the thought, closing his eyes and letting out a deep satisfied sigh at remembering the taste of the underage children's blood.

"Shit, Tae, I'm sorry!" Hoseok yells. "I thought you were Jungkook for a second!" "I don't have muscly arms! And I don't work out every day!" Taehyung whines loudly, holding a wet towel over his cheek.

"Shit. Yoongi hyung...?" "What." Yoongi growls angrily. "Can you help me search for a bandaid?" "Why?" Yoongi asks annoyed. "I accidentally cut Taehyung's cheek with my book and now he has a cheek papercut." "It's really deep and it stings!" Taehyung whines.

Yoongi's eyes widen at the smell of Taehyung's blood. It smelled so much better than the children's. Yoongi stands up. "Fine." He growls, opening the cabinet in the bathroom and grabbing a package of bandaids, cutting a small strap of it. Yoongi is disappointed to know that he wants to suck his friend empty and kill him, but his body doesn't move that way.

"Thanks, hyung!" Taehyung smiles. "No problem." Yoongi mutters. Already he misses his fangs and red eyes.

He grabs his laptop once again and starts working.

"Hey, hyung!"

Yoongi hisses at Hoseok, the sound startling him.

그녀의 인생은 줄에 가늘고, 가장 어두운 구덩이는 별이 나타나지 않을 때 가까이 보입니다. 그녀가 가진 유일한 기억은 그녀가 어머니에게서 얻은 부적입니다.

"Hyung!"

"What?!" Yoongi snaps. "What is fucking wrong with you?! You're such an annoying brat all the time! Let. Me. Work!" He yells.

Hoseok's eyes widen and his gaze saddens. "I came to tell you that Jimin, Namjoon, Jungkook, and Seokjin were coming over. But I guess you just want to work..." "No way, genius." Yoongi hisses. "Leave me alone."

Hoseok bites his quivering bottom lip, but he straightens up, grabs his jacket and slams the door shut behind him.

He wipes his eyes to get rid of the falling tears. He trails off the hiking path and sits down near the streaming lake. He picks a flower, pulling the petals from its core.

"He loves me... He loves me not... He loves me... He loves me not...-"

"Perhaps it was a mistake for you to come here out of heartbreak." A deep voice says.

Hoseok turns around and is met with a tall tan man. His jawline and cheekbones are sharp, thin lips pressed into a firm line. The man is buff... and shirtless.

"I'm not heartbroken..." Hoseok mumbles. "Just... sad." "Than why are you pulling the life from my family?" The man asks, sitting down next to him and gently taking the half-naked flower from Hoseok's hands and laying it in the river. "Is it something you can share?"

Hoseok sighs. "I love someone who doesn't even like me." The man frowns. "Ah... I'm sorry." "You can't do anything about it. You're not the one he calls an annoying brat and a fucked up dog..." Hoseok sniffles.

The man's muscles tense up and a deep animalistic growl rips from his throat. "Dogs... Are you obedient?" "I like my own way." Hoseok says softly. "Than you are not a dog, human, but a wolf." The man speaks.

Hoseok looks up at him. "How am I a wolf?" The man smiles. "I can see it in your eyes. You're playful and curious. You want to explore but the one you love is dedicated to work. You can find better-" "But I don't want better." Hoseok growls. "I want Yoongi."

"Dominant. Like an alpha." The man chuckles. "You're perfect." He growls. Hoseok raises an eyebrow. "For what?" He lets out a choked scream when sharp canine teeth bury themselves in his arm.

The unknown man looks at him with big puppy eyes, almost begging him not to struggle. And it works. Hoseok sits there, silently crying and sobbing while he feels something change.

His pupils flatten to slits for a moment and his eyes flash an amber yellow, his nails extending into sharp claws. Before he knows it, he passes out.

"Yoshiro!" The tan man looks up and smiles. "Haru." "Did you find him?! Did you find us an alpha?!" The small boy asks excitedly. Yoshiro nods happily. "He's changing. For us... For the pack. Go home, my pup, tell your mother the new alpha will be home soon."

Hoseok body reforms. His bones bend and shape into ways they shouldn't be able to. He grows bigger, almost buffer when fur spreads around his naked body. His human nails grow into claws that scrape the dirt of the ground when a loud dominant growl erupts from his throat.

His new furry ears twitch and Hoseok's body curls until he lays comfortably. A low purr rumbles in his throat when he opens his amber eyes.

"What... happened?" Hoseok mumbles. "Alpha..." Yoshiro smiles, bowing his head down to him. The word sends energy through Hoseok's body. As if it belonged to him. "I asked what happened." He growls, his voice lowering into a demanding tone.

"I turned you to lead our pack." Yoshiro replies. "We've traveled far and wide to look for someone like you." Hoseok groans and stands up.

He feels a bit strange on four paws and with a pair of ears and a tail, but it feels like him. His brown and black fur springs in every direction when he shakes his body, getting all the dirt off him.

"Take me to them."

Yoshiro nods and rips out of his own skin, his own grey wolf happily panting with his tongue hanging out of his mouth. "Follow me, alpha."

Hoseok runs after Yoshiro, his four paws bringing him further and faster than ever. His thick fur blows with the wind when he runs, his tongue hanging out of his mouth.

In the distance he hears little steps. Paw-steps. Hoseok's ear twitches, his snout picks up the scent of fresh and raw meat. Hoseok growls lowly and runs past Yoshiro, following his nose.

He abruptly stops when he finds the source. A little cub bites playfully in the small steak, two other small cubs joining her.

Hoseok lets a soft purr rumble in his throat. He sits down, his tail swaying over the ground as he watches the three play with a bit of meat.

Yoshiro quickly catches up to him. He howls, quietly enough for the pack. Hoseok growls at him instinctively. He should be howling at them.

"Everyone! I found our new alpha!" Yoshiro yells happily. Hoseok smiles when he sees how happy everyone is. They howl and cheer, Hoseok's excitement grows, and with it, his hunger.

Yoshiro nudges his shoulder with his nose. "My name is Jung Hoseok." Hoseok growls dominantly. "Your new alpha."

Yoongi sighs of relief when silence finally finishes a few more chapters. He sets his laptop aside, deciding that he should get some lunch. Another child, perhaps.

He licks his lips at the thought. Then, the door opens and slams closed again. Yoongi's smile fades into a frown, he sniffs.

It smells like nature... and... wolves?

Meat.

Yoongi snaps his head to the source. Hoseok hangs his coat and waves with a light growl at his hyung, who watches him with suspicion.

Since when did he get buffer? Or did he just not notice.

Yoongi silently follows him, peeking through the door. Hoseok takes off his shirt and turns to the mirror. He tilts his head and turns to the closet.

Yoongi's mouth falls agape and his heart stops for a moment. Hoseok's abs were more visible and his body seemed more tan. His arms had definitely become more buff.

Hoseok whines to himself when he put another shirt on when he found the sleeves too tight around his biceps. He rushes a hand through his darker brown hair and puts on an oversized sweater from Christmas with ridiculous antlers and a big red fluffy nose.

Yoongi runs downstairs in silence when he saw Hoseok turn back to the door.

Hoseok growls lowly. It smells like the dead.  He grabs a pair of scissors and cuts the obvious ridiculousness off the sweater as carefully as possible. It wasn't all that good, but at least he didn't have the urge to rip his sweater to shreds for an imaginary deer with no meat.

Only the thought made him hungry. And he just hunted with the pack! He likes the cubs. A smile spreads on his lips at the thought.

That evening, Yoongi can't help but smell the meat on Hoseok's body. He reeks of it. Wild and raw. He acts... weird.

He growls whenever someone tells him what to do and instead orders them to do it themselves.

"Hey, Yoongi."

Yoongi turns his head to his hyung. "Seokjin. How are you?" "I'm good." Seokjin replies. "The restaurant is rolling on wheels." "Glad to hear." Yoongi smiles.

The rays of moonlight fall through the windows and onto Yoongi's skin. He inhales sharply, the corners of his mouth twitching to form a dark smirk, but Yoongi holds against it. He excuses himself and leaves to his room, hissing loudly when his eyes fall on the moon.

He feels the adrenaline and strength in his body. His fangs grow and his kill-lust can finally be satisfied. But then the smell of wolf gets worse.

It begins to smell... unpleasant to Yoongi. As if it shouldn't be there.

Hoseok suddenly runs up the stairs, breathing heavily and panicked before locking the door. Growls are ripping from his throat as his body begins to reform, his pupils becoming slits and growing his canines that are aching to be used.

Fur spreads over his body and the scent of the dead becomes stronger. Curiosity and territorial behavior overcomes him, he growls and follows the scent. He bursts into Yoongi's room, his eyes locking with the elder's.

Hoseok frowns angrily, growling and almost barking at him. Yoongi's red eyes pierce through him and Yoongi hisses back.

"Hyung?" Taehyung yells. "Hyuuung?!"

Hoseok shuts the door and Yoongi locks it, the both of them staring st each other before Hoseok starts to sniff his crotch and feet.

Yoongi hisses and pushes him away. "What the fuck!" He hisses. "Pervert!" Hoseok growls. "It's how I identify what you are." "I'm a Xuile." Yoongi snarls. "A modern vampire of this world." Hoseok growls, his fur stands up and his canines show. A threat of dominance.

Yoongi sniffs him. His eyes widening when he realizes something. "You're not human either! Why the fuck have I never noticed that?!" "It happened this morning." Hoseok growls. "But already I know that I stand higher than you."

Yoongi hisses. "How so, dog?" Hoseok growls loudly at him, jumping on top of him. Yoongi merely laughs. "Such a sensitive little puppy." He mocks. "Where's your alpha, little pup?"

"I am the alpha."

Yoongi's eyes widen at his words. "You?! An alpha?!" "Believe it or not." Hoseok growls. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to hunt with the pack. We need food of course."

"Wait up!" Yoongi yells. "Pack?!" "I'm an alpha." Hoseok replies. "I'm the one they rely on." "I know, but pack?!" Yoongi hisses. "You should travel alone. It's the best way to kill."

Hoseok sighs. "That's the difference between you and me, Yoongi." He says. "You want to kill. I do it because I need it." He growls and pushes the window open with his paws before jumping outside and running towards his pack.

Yoongi hisses and follows him. He doesn't believe it. He can't.

Hoseok smiles at the cubs and rubs his head against theirs, greeting his pack members with a polite nod.

He still smells Yoongi.

"Alpha?" Yoshiro asks. "There is a Xuile nearby." "I know." Hoseok replies. "He won't harm us." "But alpha-" "Did I stutter?" Hoseok growls, towering over the grey wolf, who shakes his head and drops his ears. "That's what I thought." Hoseok chuckles, shaking his fur. "Get the pack ready. It's time." "Yes, alpha."

Hoseok's head snaps to Yoongi with a cocky smirk. "Still think I'm not an alpha?" He growls.

Yoongi's mouth falls agape at the tone Hoseok set up. Even he had to admit that it sounded rather hot. He bites his lip, hissing lowly.

He yells out in pain when claws penetrate his back. "A wolf, smaller than Hoseok and him claws at his back and bites in his shoulder.

"Get away you stupid bloodsucker!" The wolf yells. It's a teenager. Yoongi hisses loudly at him and bares his fangs as he fights back.

Hoseok's low deep growl pulls their attention. Slowly, the brown-black wolf walks towards them, his gaze spitting fire at him.

"Step away from the Xuile, Tatsumi." He growls lowly. Yoongi stares at him.

God, that tone... It had him almost fall to his knees. Tatsumi gulps and obeys, walking backwards and laying down with droopy ears. "I'm sorry, alpha..."

"Don't hurt those who have done nothing to you or those who you love. And you hurt someone I love." Hoseok growls. "But I don't hurt cubs. I hope this was a lesson worthy of remembering."

Yoongi watches with wide eyes when Hoseok turns to him with big puppy eyes. "Are you alright? Are you hurt badly? Let me see." He urges.

Yoongi gasps when Hoseok licks over his wounds and gulps nervously when the wold bites and claw marks start to heal.

Hoseok's furry head rubs against Yoongi's chest. "Do... you love me?" Yoongi asks. Hoseok nods. "Have for a while." Yoongi blushes furiously. "Really?" Hoseok nods again and licks over his cheek. "I was just too afraid when I was human."

Yoongi hesitates to pet him... but he looks so vulnerable. Slowly, Yoongi's hand caresses Hoseok's thick fur, his deep purrs rumbling in his throat as his tail lazily wags. "Do you love me?" Hoseok asks.

Yoongi hesitates again. His mind is in two places, but his answer is confident. "I know I act like a bitch sometimes, but being a writer is hard work. I like how you are and I even love it. It's just so annoying when I'm trying to work."

"Don't worry." Hoseok chuckles. "The only time I need to play is outside or in my rut." He purrs. Yoongi's face flushes a bright red. "Shut up..." "but do you love me?" Hoseok asks again.

Yoongi looks at him, smiling slightly. "I do." He whispers. "But if someone calls me bloodsucker again they'll be my next meal." "Permission granted." Hoseok chuckles. "I'm joining."

"I thought you had to hunt."

"My mate is more important."
