"You can't even say it without the Geummango."
[\|<>|/]
Jimin winced in pain, the knife skinning the palm of his hand. "Yoongi!" He yelled, whining slightly. His boyfriend came running towards him, grabbing his wrist immediately. "Jimin! Look at the mess!" Yoongi yelled, hissing slightly of the large puddle of blood on the floor. "This looks like a stab wound and not a cutting wound."
Jimin giggled slightly. "I'm sorry..." "Don't do it again." Yoongi growled. "You know it's attractive to my kind." Jimin smiled. "I know." "The wrong kind, Jimin." Yoongi growled. "Not just me. And such a big wound," he blew softly on the wound, watching it heal up, "can attract the wrong kind of vampire."
He snapped his fingers, watching the drops of blood on the floor take shape into a small insect with two wings. Butterflies.
Jimin watched with awe as Yoongi send them flying out of the window with little to no care in the world.
"Be careful next time, okay sweetheart?" Jimin nodded. "Okay hyung. I love you." "I love you too... Only because of this stupid bracelet you gave to me..." Yoongi sighed, embracing his boyfriend in a tight hug. "Sure." Jimin giggled
But somewhere else the love wasn't as great...
"How long until I get to play Mario Kart again?" The broad-shouldered man asked his partner tiredly, leaning on his shovel. "We've been digging for hours. The ground is rock solid! Can't we just dump the body somewhere?"
"No. We can't." His partner snarled. "Seokjin hyung, this body has to be hidden. It was the man's order." Seokjin rolled his eyes. "Fuck the man's order." He growled. "I'm tired as hell, Taehyung!"
"Well, Satan would say otherwise." Taehyung snapped. "Very funny. You were the one accepting the offer. Now we get to bury the body of a guy, still covered in blood, with our uncovered hands in the ground that's dryer than your jokes!" Seokjin yelled.
In the midst of the killers' arguing, a familiar red-winged butterfly made its way. It fluttered down onto the body on the dead male, right in between his collarbones. It faded, a red butterfly shape forming with veins in the body's skin where it had landed.
The male's eyes opened. Wide and uneven, the eyes rolled themselves into place, the red iris brightening in the dark. He hesitantly lifted his head, the cracking of his neckbone and spine loud and clear.
"What was that?" Taehyung snarled. "The floor you step on. Now be quiet." Seokjin spat.
The male cracked his arms back in place, cracking his spine in form and pulling his legs and feet from their broken position.
He slowly moved his fingers, one by one, bending his knees, slowly getting up from the dirty bloodied sheet.
His head fell to the side at the scent of its own blood, slowly dragging itself away to the black van.
He recognized it from somewhere...
He opened the door, peeking inside, only to end up tripping over his own feet and landing in the back seat with the door slamming closed behind him.
"Did you hear that?" Taehyung asked. "Of course, I'm not deaf." Seokjin snapped. "Go look. I'll keep digging."
Taehyung mocked his words childishly before throwing the shovel down and climbing his way up to the stained sheet.
His eyed widened and he clamped his hand in front of his mouth before screaming into it. "Seokjin! Hyung!" "What?" Seokjin snarled. "T-the body! I-i-it's... It's gone!"
"What kind of drugs are you on?" Seokjin growled. "Want me to check? Again?" He asked. Taehyung nodded vigorously. "Please... This can't be real!"
Seokjin sighed annoyed, climbing his way up to his partner. "What's the problem?" His eyes widened when he looked at the bloodied sheet. "What kind of drugs am I on?!"
"And you heard the car door right?" Taehyung asked. "Yeah..." "What if it came back to life and took our stuff?!" Seokjin rolled his eyes. "It probably rolled off somewhere. I'm too tired to deal with this. Let's just go home and find it tomorrow."
Taehyung slowly nodded. "I think I need more sleep..." "You think?" Seokjin snarled, opening the port and getting in behind the wheel, unaware of the... extra pair of eyes...
Taehyung quickly jumped in next to him, shivering slightly. "I have a feeling we're missing something you know..." "Me too, but it'll come later." Seokjin mumbled, starting to drive.
It was a dangerous environment to drive. It was wobbly and bumpy, dry and not meant for cars that they drove.
Slowly, the body of the male leaned over Taehyung's chair, taking a good look at them before asking in a raspy, deep voice, "Me?"
The two serial killers widened their eyes, turning around to the undead body that they tried to bury that night. They screamed loudly, trying to push it out of the car, when the car hit a nasty bump, sending the car down the hill and upside down with a loud crash.
The windows were shattered and the top of the car pushed down, the wheels were popped and smoke came from the motor.
The two men inside...
The undead male crawled from the car, cracking his limbs back in place once more. There were no heartbeats. The men had died.
He was about to leave when a familiar scent struck him. He looked up, watching a wave of red butterflies fall over them. Two of which parted from their pack, flying down.
The male watched as they squeezed through the door, placing themselves between their collarbones.
It wasn't long before their eyes snapped open, making eye contact with each other before crawling out of the car.
Taehyung's breathing was unbalanced and ragged as he popped his shoulder back in its place, cracking his spine straight and rolling his head around his neck to get rid of the stiffness.
His red eyes fell on the male. He recognized it from somewhere. He stood up, sniffing him. "Not... human?" The male shook his head slowly. "No."
Seokjin hissed as he cracked his spine and his knee cap in place. Popping his fingers in their position one by one. He found something in the car.
Files.
One of which looked like him. A photo, with age, birthdate, name, occupation, family, relatives, and boss.
"Kim... Seokjin..." He mumbled. His voice was raspy. His vocal cords may have suffered from the accident.
The other two undead men turned around to him. "What do you mean?" Taehyung asked. Seokjin pointed at himself. "My name... is Kim Seokjin."
Taehyung snatched the files from him. He tilted his head at his own picture. "Kim... Kim Taehyung." He said lowly. He moved to the last file. It looked like the undead male.
"Kim Namjoon..." Taehyung read. "You are Kim Namjoon."
The undead male tilted his head. "Kim Namjoon... Joon... ie..." He mumbled. Their eyes widened, snapping open when the strong scent of blood filled their nose. Licking their lips, they looked at each other before running towards it in a speed faster than a human could see.
"Smells good..." Namjoon hissed. "Need it.." Taehyung hissed at him. "Mine!" Seokjin snarled.
"Hello?!" A loud voice yelled. "Is anybody out here?! I broke my leg and I'm stuck!" The three looked at each other, their fangs emerging from their teeth.
"We're here." Taehyung replied to the voice. "Oh, thank God! Please help me!" "We will." Seokjin hissed, like a predator hiding in his surroundings to attack at any given moment. "But it'll be more fun for us than it will be for you." Namjoon snarled.
Seokjin hissed loudly and lunged at the man, sinking his sharp fangs into his neck, taking long greedy tugs of his blood, finding the screams amusing.
Namjoon sunk his fangs into the man's skull, enjoying the blood that was flowing into his mouth.
Taehyung took the other limbs, making sure to mark every single one of them with his bite mark.
The human's heartbeat became slower, until it died into nothing. The human male laid there, dead.
Namjoon's head shot up. "That... I've seen it before." Seokjin tilted his head. "Really?" He asked as it flew down onto the man's chest, making the same mark as the other three vampires had.
Namjoon pointed at their marks, then his own, and the man's on the ground, who's eyes snapped open with a hungry gaze.
"We're like him." "Or he's like us." Taehyung countered. "I'm... thirsty." Seokjin hissed. "I want blood." Just the word seemed to trigger something in them. Their mouth began to water only at the thought of it. "More..." Namjoon hissed. "Need more..." Taehyung sniffed. "I feel empty without it."
Their eyes snapped to the New-Blood, who fixed his broken leg with a strong tug, hissing at them.
"Let's find more of those creatures.."
Yoongi frowned. Maybe it wasn't such a good thing to send them out... He knew Jimin liked them, but it was a lot of blood. He just hoped it didn't get out of hand.
He sighed and looked at the golden bracelet around his wrist. The Geummango. A bracelet that chained his heart. It forced him to love Jimin. Slowly he just started to accept that he had feelings for the younger. With and without the bracelet.
(금만고 - bracelet that ties and locks itself around the wrist of the one who wears it by the first kiss they share of the one who put it on him.)
((It basically means that Jimin put it on him and kissed him to lock it))
He smiled slightly. The Geummango made him realize what he felt and helped him express it. He kind of liked it...
His senses were put on sharp when he saw something flash by his window. It was fast. Inhumanly fast.
His question was quickly answered when the body pressed itself against the window, trying to bite at the glass to break it.
Yoongi sealed them in case this would happen. He looked at the collarbones. A familiar mark.
His eyes widened when he saw the horde of butterflies fluttering by. Suddenly his decision didn't seem so pretty anymore.
He could feel his own mark burn, wanting to follow them. But he refused. He had the source of the blood right there with him.
He quickly left his room, pulling Jimin close to him. "Hyung?" "Quiet." Yoongi whispered. Jimin obliged, knowing very well that when Yoongi says something you should do it. Especially if he's being so cautious.
"Shit." Yoongi cursed, seeing another few butterflies fly by. "I think I created an apocalypse, Jiminie..." Jimin's eyes widened. "You WHAT?!" "Remember those butterflies I made?" Yoongi asked. Jimin nodded. They were one of his favorites of Yoongi's abilities after all.
"Those infect recently died humans."
"COULDN'T YOU HAVE TOLD ME THIS EARLIER?!" Jimin shrieked. "What will happen now?!" Yoongi shrugged. "There might be hundreds or even thousands of those out there... Every human that dies in at least an hour of which the blood is still fresh, can be turned by them. Out of control and a danger for humanity."
"How I met you." Jimin smiled. "This isn't a pretty picture, Jimin." Yoongi hissed. "This story has no happily ever after. Those vampires out there will kill whatever they find that has blood in its body, and those butterflies will turn them. The more they make, the more danger it causes." He said lowly.
He held up his wrist with the bracelet. "The Geummango prevents me from wanting to suck you dry, Jimin. My heart won't allow it. Your hurt, is mine." "So you've said. Quite a few times." Jimin mumbled. "I don't understand why you're with me if this relationship is just... ending in death."
Yoongi's heart ached. He could feel Jimin's insecurities and fear. "Jiminie..." "You'll live on. You'll find another and start all over. Perhaps after a few years you'll have a kid and a wife. I won't be part of that because..." "You won't live to see it." Yoongi finished softly. "Yeah..." Jimin mumbled.
"I'm sorry baby..." "You don't even want to call me that. Do you?" Jimin spat. "You're just giving in to the Geummango and leave me loving someone who pretends to love me back." "Jiminie..." Yoongi said again. "I love you-" "You don't! You don't love me Yoongi!" Jimin yelled, tears brimming in his eyes. "If you did you would have turned me! I wouldn't have to put that stupid bracelet on you to make sure you don't rip me apart!"
Yoongi frowned sadly. "Jimin... Please, listen to me." "Why?! You keep saying the same! I love you Jiminie. This makes me love you, Jiminie. It's constantly the bracelet! You. Don't. Love. Me!" Jimin shrieked, tears escaping his eyes.
Yoongi could feel his sadness, it hurt him. Not only because of the bracelet, but because it hit him... "I love you... I really do!" "You can't even say it without the Geummango." Jimin spat, wiping his tears away. "Than take it off and let me show you that I love you." Yoongi said softly, his voice cracking slightly. "Please... Don't hurt me like this."
Jimin scoffed. "You'll kill me if I do that." "There are two sides to that. Either I love you and let you stay human, or I love you but kill you and you'll get turned." Yoongi said softly. "So please, I beg you Jimin, let me show you that I love you. Not the Geummango. Me."
Jimin frowned sadly, looking at the gold bracelet. "You promise it's just that?" "I swear on my life, Jimin." Yoongi said, in barely a whisper. "Let me love you like I want to."
With the slightest of hesitation, Jimin reached out to the bracelet around Yoongi's wrist, gently pulling them apart to create an opening to slip it off.
Yoongi inhaled sharply, finally feeling free of the chains around his heart. But it didn't go away. He still hurt that Jimin didn't believe he really loved him.
With a soft grip, Yoongi cupped Jimin's cheeks, tilting his head to place a passionate kiss on his lips. It wasn't forced. He loved Jimin with his heart, body, mind, and soul. He was going to give it all to him.
"I don't want a wife or a kid. I want you." He said softly. "You, and you only. My Jiminie..." A soft tear slipped down his cheek. "I love you, Jimin. I love you so fucking much. Don't you dare leave me for some stupid make-believe rumor you made up."
Jimin's lips quivered. "You really love me?" "Yes. I do Jimin." Yoongi replied immediately. "I never want to lose you." "There's only one way to make it happen." Jimin giggled softly, wiping his tears away. "But I don't want you to be like me." Yoongi protested. "You'll be insane for the first few months... You'll be like a kid. And I hate kids."
Jimin chuckled. "I know. They cry all the time and break everything. They eat your food and wake you up. The only time they're good is asleep or... well... asleep." He smiled. Yoongi chuckled lightly, placing another kiss on his lips. "I love you, Jiminie... I really do." "And I love you too, hyung."
(That was 743 words of drama for you. That's what I get for watching too man K-dramas. It delivers quality!)
Seokjin hissed loudly, his fangs bloodied just like his lips and mouth. He was on a rampage. He wasn't sure who he was. There was a boss name on his file before he threw it away, and the logo on it must be of the company.
BigHit... something.
"Namjoon." He growled. The taller vampire came standing next to him. "Can you remember the logo on the files?" Seokjin asked. Namjoon shook his head. "I didn't see it. All I know is that my name is Kim Namjoon. I don't even remember what language this is."
Seokjin looked down at the ground. "Me neither. What happened before we became this way?" "Simple!" Taehyung chimed in. "We died!"
"What do you mean we died?" Seokjin snarled. "Look at all the people we killed." Taehyung chuckled. "Those winged animals fall onto them and make this mark." He said, pointing at the butterfly-vein mark between Seokjin's collarbones. "We have them too. We died, and came back to life as this."
"I never thought you'd say anything useful." Namjoon grinned. "I'm still an adult." Taehyung hissed. "The logo was just the name in gigantic letters. Shouldn't be hard to find."
Seokjin rolled his eyes. "Let's ask someone." "And what if we kill them too?" "Than we had a great meal." Seokjin snarled. Namjoon nodded, walking up to a shivering human female. "You." Namjoon hissed. The woman gulped. "Y-yes?" "Where is this BigHit company?" Namjoon asked, the need to rip her apart throbbing in his veins.
The woman pointed at a large building, where, as Taehyung said, was the name of the company spelled in big capital letters.
"Ah..." Namjoon mumbled. "Thank you. Oh! One more thing." He said quickly. "Where are we and what language is this?" He asked. "S-South Korea, in Seoul, a-and you speak Hanguk!" The woman said shakily. "Thank you." Namjoon said again, before walking back.
The woman helped him... She could live.
(한국 - Instead of saying: He speaks Korean, they say: He speaks Hanguk. This can be put in senses as: Hanguk-i (한국이), Hanguk-eo (한국어), and Hanguk-a (한국아). Depending on the vowels, informal and formality, and question or not.)
"Okay." Namjoon said lowly. "We speak Hanguk, we are in South Korea, Seoul - wherever the hell that may be - and BigHit is there." He said, pointing at the building. Seokjin growled lowly. "Let's see who this boss of us is." He hissed.
The three saved their appetite for their boss. The building was almost empty. Just a few humans remained calm and collected. "Where is... what was his name?" Seokjin asked. "Jung Hoseok." Taehyung replied. "Where is Jung Hoseok?" Seokjin repeated.
"You're talking to him." The brown-haired male said annoyed. "I am Jung Hoseok. I assume you've hit your head on your way here if you forgot me." He chuckled. The three stayed quiet. "I see you've brought the victim! How's he doing? Nothing popped out of place like how you left him?" Hoseok chuckled darkly.
"What do you mean?" Namjoon snarled. "Dear, stupid, vampire." Hoseok spat. "You were not supposed to be alive. In fact, these two should have buried you!" Hoseok yelled angrily, pointing at Seokjin and Taehyung. "If we had known we would have left him." Taehyung said lowly.
"Speak for yourself..." Seokjin mumbled. "I like that he listens to me." "I just find you very smart and strategic." Namjoon replied. "Blah-blah-blah!" Hoseok snarled. "Listen up, do you have any memory of me?"
They shook their heads. "I saw your name on the file in the crashed car we crawled out of." Seokjin replied. "You crashed my car?!" Hoseok yelled. "And you dare walk up to me and bring the victim, alive and well, immortal and smart?! He was as dumb as a goldfish before you killed him!"
Namjoon frowned angrily. "I don't like that tone." "Easy tiger." Seokjin growled. "We want to know who we were before we became this way."
Hoseok chuckled. "Of course. Not like it will matter. It will only be a matter of time before the world of humans is lost, taken over by creatures no believed existed." He snarled. "Sit down."
The three vampires sat down hesitantly, feeling uncomfortable in Hoseok's presence. Especially with their bloodthirst. But if they kill him now he'll be just like them. Too distracted to care and will probably have forgotten it all.
"You, Seokjin, were my best man. Always on time, finishing all the chores and duties. Never once a mistake. You were partners with Taehyung. Serial killers. A split part of the money went to your bank account. You were not the jokey man. Serious and a workaholic. Any stupid joke could ruin your day, as well as a time delay or unwanted attention. You're not the social type. Never had a girlfriend or boyfriend. Not even after you confessed that you were bisexual."
Seokjin listened closely, it wasn't far from how he was now. Perhaps... the other two were the same...
"Taehyung, you were the joker. Always being a clown around everyone. You're observant and notice the smallest of details. You're a good actor, but take things loudly and noticeable. Partnered with Seokjin, you seemed to have grown up a bit. From a toddler to a child. You're playful and like being in the spotlight of attention. Whether that'd be in jail, or silently by all the weird items in your closet."
Taehyung tilted his head. Was that really how he was? He liked the thing he wore now. Nice and colorful. He did feel rather playful. Perhaps this human was right.
"And Namjoon. I don't have much to say about you, since you were a victim and target. You used to be spoiled and rich, a momma's boy and rude. All I know is it changed when you grew up. You became a detective for a job. That's why you were our target. Else you would figure us out. When I saw you for the first time you were thoughtful, but jumped to conclusions very easily. You weren't the smartest, but you were good at figuring out clues. You were also a bookworm."
Namjoon stayed unfazed. Of course this man would know little to nothing about him. But it was a step forward...
Yoongi sighed deeply when he got outside. He could smell the blood all over town from a mile away. It made him thirsty. As someone who suffered from the same fate as most of these vampires now, he would easily get triggered by their thirst.
He promised to protect Jimin. He was his priority.
His eyes glew a blood-red, his fangs ready to sink into a human's skin and flesh. With bloodthirst in his veins, he ran off to find some humans to feed off. Something he hasn't done in a long time.
He had five... Five humans and it still wasn't enough. There was too much... Too much thirst and blood around him. Without thinking he went back to his house, the scent of his beloved Jimin seeming more delicious than ever.
He licked his fangs, bursting through the door. "Hyung! Close it! It's cold outside!" Jimin whined, his eyes widened slightly when his eyes reached Yoongi.
His shaking body. His chest was heaving up and down, his fangs bloodied and on full display, his eyes screaming in bloodthirst and hunger. "Jiminie..." He smirked, pinning his boyfriend to the wall.
"You smell so good..." Yoongi hissed. "So sweet and pure." Without a protest or more words from the two, Yoongi had sunken his fangs through Jimin's skin, hearing his choked scream.
Jimin smiled to himself. He finally knew how it felt to have fangs piercing through his skin. He felt weak, knowing Yoongi wasn't going to stop. Taking the Geummango off was one of the best decisions he had ever made.
Yoongi widened his eyes when Jimin's heartbeat died down, the last beats being full of hope and love, before Jimin breathed his last breath.
"J-Jiminie...?" Yoongi asked softly, shaking his body gently. There was no use, he knew. He was thirsty... He let it get to him... The man he swore to protect was now dead in his arms. Dead by his boyfriend's fangs.
Yoongi's eyes landed on the weak, small butterfly. The blood-red color sending a wave of relief over him as it landed on Jimin's skin.
Vampire or not, he would always love Jimin. He could only hope Jimin thought the same about him...
Jimin's eyes snapped wide open, their red color piercing through Yoongi's. His breathing was ragged, having to get used to breathing without a pumping heart.
"Who are you?" He hissed. Yoongi's heart sunk in his shoes. He forgot about that. "Jimin..." "Jimin? Weird name." "It's your name." Yoongi chuckled. Jimin blinked. "Oh... Does it fit me?" Yoongi nodded. "Very well..." "Than who are you?" Jimin asked again.
"I'm Yoongi. Your boyfriend." Jimin tilted his head, sniffing at his skin. "You smell familiar." He hissed. "Like... sweetness... and sugar..." Jimin sniffed again. "You smell good."
Yoongi smiled. "Thank you." "So... If you really are my boyfriend, then why am I in your arms and are your cheeks stained with water?" Jimin asked. "Those are tears. I cried." "Why?" Jimin asked. "Because I killed you..." Yoongi said softly. "And you came back to me."
Jimin smiled slightly. "You seem nice Yoongi." "It's hyung to you." Yoongi chuckled. "Oh... Older than me?" Jimin asked. "By eighty-three years." Yoongi chuckled. Jimin rolled his eyes playfully. "Whatever. I'll figure out how we were. Just... can we go out? I'm starving." He hissed. Yoongi chuckled and nodded. "Me too."
"Who is this... Jeon Jungkook?" Seokjin asked. "He is the co-CEO. Or a second me but much younger." Hoseok explained, leading the three vampires to a separate room. "He's been turned at an early age and keeps hissing, unable to speak right."
Immediately after they entered, a loud hiss echoed. Laughter, growling and hissing came from the black-haired vampire, who was stuck in a box glass cage. "Kill all..." He laughed.
Seokjin tilted his head. "He looks young." "He's eighteen." Hoseok replied. "And hot." Taehyung chuckled.
Jungkook let his head fall to the side. "Hot?" "Yup." Taehyung nodded. "Hot." Jungkook giggled and laughed loudly, sinking his sharp fangs into his own wrist. "Want?" He asked, holding his bleeding wrist against the glass. "Tempting." Taehyung chuckled. "But no, thanks. I'm on a human blood diet."
Jungkook pouted. "Kookie blood no good?" He whined. "It's probably good." Taehyung giggled. "Just... not right now. Considering that you're trapped. In a glass cage." Jungkook frowned angrily and hissed loudly. "Out! Me want out!" He yelled. "Calm down Kookie." Taehyung said quickly.
Immediately the younger sat back down, facing the elder with a pout. "Why they lock Kookie?" He asked softly, his voice a whimper. "I don't know." Taehyung shrugged. He placed his hand on the glass, watching Jungkook do the same. "I'll take care of you. Okay?" Jungkook nodded happily. "Okay!"
Namjoon sighed. "Eighteen and a vampire. What even is that?" He asked. Seokjin shrugged. "I have no idea." "Shouldn't we kill that boss of yours? He's kinda running away." Namjoon chuckled. "We'll get him later. He can't outrun us." Seokjin smirked.
"Because we're vampires..." Namjoon mumbled. "Whatever those may be."
