"You taste so good... Even better when it's right from your veins."

[\|<>|/]

It was another day. Another day of no customers. Namjoon had to admit that hope was starting to leave his hands.

The town wasn't all for the unknown unique things. If it wasn't normal, it wasn't liked. Not even the two-headed twin would be able to bring the crowd.

With his hands in his pockets, Namjoon looked around town. Soft sniffles caught his ears. He looked to the side, in the dark ally, a vague shadow sat on the floor.

Namjoon tilted his head. "Hello?" The cries died down into a gasp. "P-please leave..." The broken voice begged. "Why?" Namjoon asked. "What's wrong?"

The voice hissed at him. "S-stay away from me!" He cried. "I'm a monster!" Namjoon smiled slightly. "No one is a monster where I come from." "B-but... I'm... different..." The boy cried. "So am I." Namjoon smiled. "But aren't we all?"

The boy shook his head. "N-not like me..." "Than what makes you so different from me?" Namjoon asked. "And why are you here in the dark?" "I live in it..." The boy replied. "I... I don't know what happened. I got bitten and I passed out... I woke up in the sun and was badly burned. I hid in here..."

Namjoon tilted his head. "Would you let me show you something?" "Depends..." The boy mumbled. "Are you selling me for money?" "Of course not." Namjoon replied. "I want to show you my home."

"H-how can I trust you?" The boy sobbed. "Do I look like someone who would lie to such a pretty boy like you?" Namjoon asked gently. "Kinda." The boy mumbled. "How so?" Namjoon asked. "You're very tall... and..." The boy stopped.

Namjoon tilted his head. "Let me at least take care of you for a little while. You're all dirty. I bet you're hungry too." He smiled. The boy finally looked up at him, taking Namjoon by surprise. "Fascinating..."

The boy looked down again, shutting his eyes tightly. "I'm sorry..." He sniffled. "I-I know... I'm a m-monster..." "You aren't." Namjoon said softly, turning the boy's head back to him.

The ruby-red eyes stared at him, shaking slightly with soft tears that streamed down his soft cheeks.

"You're beautiful..." Namjoon smiled kindly. "I'm not afraid of you. Why should I be?" "M-my parents... send me out..." "Why?" Namjoon asked. "Because you're like this?" The boy nodded. "I-I woke up... I couldn't remember it... I hid here... I called to my father who passed by..."

The boy wiped his tears. "He called me a freak... A m-monster... He left me here..." Namjoon sighed softly. "You are not a monster. Please... Trust me, I want to help you."

The boy sniffled, nodding softly. "O-okay..." Namjoon smiled, moving a lock of hair from the boy's eyes. "What's your name?" "Hoseok... Jung Hoseok..." "You're just Hoseok. If your parents left you here for how unique you are then they don't deserve you. I'll take you under my wing. I'll cook for you, buy you new clothes, anything."

Hoseok smiled widely, showing a heart-shaped smile that made Namjoon's mouth fall agape. "Such a beauty..." Hoseok flinched when Namjoon reached out to touch his small fangs. "Too soon?" Namjoon asked. Hoseok nodded. "Maybe in a few years..."

Namjoon just smiled at him. "Can you walk?" Hoseok nodded. "Is it night?" "Evening." Namjoon replied. Hoseok nodded again. "Than I can go out..."

Namjoon reached his hand out to him, which Hoseok gladly took. "You're... really not afraid of me?" "Of course not." Namjoon replied. "All my friends are like you. I just can't get along with humans." He chuckled. Hoseok sniffled slightly. "Where do we go? Is it far?"

"No." Namjoon shook his head. "I have an apartment around the block." Hoseok looked up at him. "So no one will see me like this?" "Don't be scared." Namjoon smiled. "This is you. Be proud of it." Hoseok smiled slightly. "Thank you..."

Namjoon smiled, leading Hoseok through the streets. Only in the gentle moonlight, he could see Hoseok clearly. His messy brown hair sprung every way, his pale face hidden in the collar of Namjoon's jacket. His ripped shirt showed wounds of burned skin that were slowly healing, new skin layering over the burned one, and dirt that smudged all over him.

His jeans were dirty, only covering until his knees, his bare feet hopping over the stone tiles. Namjoon felt sorry for him. No unique boy like him should live like this. "You said you were bitten." Namjoon said softly. Hoseok nodded, lifting his head out of his jacket and tilting his head. "There..." He said, pointing at the two holes in his skin that were stained with blood.

Namjoon sighed softly. "I'll take care of you. I promise. No one will hurt you anymore." Hoseok sniffled, a single tear falling down his cheek. He smiled. "Thank you..." "Let's get you washed up." Namjoon said, a kind smile on his face as he wiped some dirt off Hoseok's cheeks.

Opening the door of his apartment, Hoseok sniffed slightly. "It smells good..." A red glow fell over his eyes, a soft whine slipping past his lips as he felt his fangs sliding out to their full length, his senses sharpening. A hiss erupted from his throat. A sharp thirsty hiss that caught Namjoon's attention.

"Are you thirsty?" Hoseok just looked up at him. Namjoon smiled gently. "I'll tap some blood for you. That's what you want right?" Hoseok nodded. "Alright. I do have a cat so... please don't kill her." Namjoon chuckled, closing the door behind Hoseok.

Hoseok's fear slowly faded, an instinct coming in place. His head snapped to the feline who came to rub her head against Namjoon's ankle, who was greeted with a caring pet.

Hoseok hissed at the feline, the two finally making eye contact. The cat hissed back, her fur standing up. Hoseok hissed again, flashing his fangs at her. The cat hissed again, so did Hoseok.

Namjoon chuckled, taking a syringe from the kitchen counter and gently sliding it through his skin, taking his blood and releasing it in a cup, doing it three more times.

He came back to the living room, chuckling to himself when he saw his cat and Hoseok hissing at each other like predators.

Hoseok's head shot up at the scent of Namjoon's blood, ignoring the cat scratching his leg. "Is that... yours?" Namjoon nodded. "Drink up while I fill the bathtub, okay? We need to clean you."

Hoseok sped to the cup, snatching it from Namjoon's hands and throwing it down his throat, his eyes wide at the taste. "More?" He asked shyly, a soft voice replacing his hungry one. Namjoon smiled. "First the tub, okay?" Hoseok nodded with a smile.

While Namjoon went to the bathroom, Hoseok looked around. The apartment was full of pictures. Many of him with... other creatures...

A picture of Namjoon and a broad-shouldered man, who's eyes were white and his ears long and pointy. A gentle smile stood on both their faces.

On the second stood a pale boy with Namjoon, who's eyes were red, like Hoseok's, and fangs revealed in a gummy smile.

The third showed a wolf. A rather large wolf with wild fur and a playful smile. Namjoon lied under the wolf. It was clear the picture was overcome by the wolf's excitement.

The fourth showed a man with antlers. The man looked magical, with fawn ears and lower body. A centaur in a fawn-form. Namjoon sat on a log beside him. The picture was taken in the forest.

The last individual photo showed a man with wings. One dark feathered and one light feathered. He stood proudly next to Namjoon, one of his eyes black and one of his eyes blue.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Namjoon asked. "These are my friends." "Who are they?" Hoseok asked. "These are Seokjin, Yoongi, Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook." Hoseok tilted his head. "Why does he look like me?" He asked, pointing at the photo with Yoongi.

Namjoon smiled, tapping another cup of his blood. "He is a vampire, just like you." Hoseok smiled at him. "Can he teach me about this life?" "He probably can." Namjoon replied. "Let's meet him tomorrow. Or tonight. I'll invite him."

Hoseok smiled widely. "Thank you!" "Here. The water is flowing, I'm glad you and Soomin get along." Namjoon smiled. "The cat?" Hoseok asked. Namjoon nodded, handing Hoseok another cup, who greedily drunk it up.

"Can you bathe yourself?" Namjoon asked. "I'm twenty-five!" Hoseok whined. "Oh?" Namjoon smiled. "You're my hyung!" "I am?" "Yeah." Namjoon chuckled. "Take your time then. I'll call Yoongi."

Hoseok hopped to the bathroom, smiling at Namjoon before closing the door. Namjoon smiled, taking the phone off the wall and ringing a familiar number. It rung a few times.

"Yes, hello?"

"Yoongi hyung, hello." Namjoon smiled.

"Namjoon. What'd you call me for?"

"I found a vampire in an alley. Very young. He said he just turned. He has no idea how to control his instincts. Can you help him?"

"Seems like a job for me. I'll be there soon."

"Thank you, hyung."

"No problem."

Namjoon smiled as he hung the phone back to the wall, letting himself relax on the couch as his cat curled up in his lap.

A few minutes passed by before the doorbell rang, and in walked the vampire Namjoon called.

The man was small but cold, his gaze hard and stern, but a smile quickly spread across his lips. "Namjoon, good evening." "Evening hyung." Namjoon greeted him with a kind smile.

"Just a minute, Hoseok's bathing." "I have patience." Yoongi said, petting the feline, who purred at the contact of his cold skin. "So, just turned?"

Namjoon nodded. "He said he was bitten, woke up badly burned, hid in a dark alley, and stayed there after his father left him to rot, what I assume happened today." Yoongi frowned. "Some humans are not worthy of a life." "I know..." Namjoon mumbled.

"Did he drink?" Yoongi asked. Namjoon nodded. "I have him two cups. It seemed enough to calm his thirst for now." "Good..." Yoongi mumbled. "Has he been burned?" "Quite badly." Namjoon replied. "His chest is full of them."

"Aish..." Yoongi hissed. "You should keep him inside for now. Take care of him. Make sure he gets used to blood and the changes in attitude and instincts. He is a predator kind." Namjoon nodded. "I will. But Hoseok wanted you to come over. You should tell him that once he gets out of bath." He said.

Yoongi chuckled. "I have all night. No one wants to see freaks like us anyway." "But you're my freaks." Namjoon smiled. "And everyone who is as special as you and Hoseok, Seokjin, everyone. They're so unique and inspiring." He sighed deeply. "If only the world would see it like you do." Yoongi mumbled.

"Uhm... Namjoon?" Hoseok's voice squeaked. "Yes?" "Can I have some clothes?" Hoseok asked pouting, his head peeking past the door, his hair dripping wet. Namjoon smiled. "Of course."

He stood up and walked to his room, fishing a pair of comfortable sports jeans and a hoodie from his closet with a pair of boxers, and walked back, slipping the clothes into Hoseok's hands, who thanked him with a bright smile.

"He seems to be controlling himself just fine." Yoongi observed. "Maybe his stomach hasn't fully adapted to the need of his body yet." "Perhaps." Namjoon nodded. "Or his self-control is just very good."

Hoseok soon hopped out of the bathroom in Namjoon's clothes, feeling pretty comfortable in the big hoodie. "Look who's there." Yoongi chuckled. Hoseok stopped and tilted his head. "Are you the boy from the picture?" "I'm a man, and yes. I am." Yoongi replied.

"My name is Min Yoongi, it's a pleasure to meet you." "Hoseok, likewise." The two smiled. "No last name?" "Namjoon says my last name isn't the right one since they left me there." "Right he is." Yoongi nodded.

"Can you teach me more about what I am?" Hoseok asked softly, hope in his voice. Yoongi nodded. "I can." Hoseok smiled widely. "Really?!" Yoongi nodded. "But to show you some things Namjoon might be in danger. His thirst and stuff." Namjoon nodded.

"Some things will have to go without me. Can you be good for me and listen to Yoongi hyung when that happens?" Namjoon asked, caressing Hoseok's cheeks. Hoseok pouted but nodded. "Okay..." "Thank you." Namjoon smiled.

Hoseok looked up at him. "But I won't like it!" He whined. "I won't either, but you need to control your thirst. I've known Yoongi hyung for quite a while, he told me the inside of your body has to change too." Namjoon said softly.

Hoseok's face went pale. Paler than he already was. "I-inside?!" Yoongi nodded. "Your stomach needs to adapt to the fact that you'll only be drinking blood, your heart will eventually stop and your lungs will have to adapt to breathing on their own. And of course as an immortal, your organs and skin change."

Namjoon chuckled softly at Hoseok's wide eyes. "I'm... terrified!" He yelled. "Don't worry." Yoongi chuckled. "You'll just feel every bit of it." Hoseok stared at him with fire-spitting eyes. "You're not helping!" "I'm not trying to help you." Yoongi said in a deep stern voice. "I'm here to teach you things you should remember for the rest of your immortal life."

Hoseok gulped and nodded, feeling Namjoon's arm around his waist. "You'll be okay. I'll introduce you to the others once you're ready." Hoseok nodded again. "I'd like that..."

It took a few months, five or six. Namjoon had been dealing with a thirsty hostile Hoseok for the past few days. And just like the first day, his cat and him had a hiss-off again.

Hoseok's eyes had changed from a blood red to a darker red. Crimson like the night. His fangs had grown and so had his attitude. He seemed like a teen in his puberty.

"Hoseok, please stop, I'm getting neighbor complains." Namjoon chuckled, watching Hoseok hiss at his cat in a pair of loose sweatpants and bed hair. Hoseok's head snapped towards him. "Fuck the neighbors." He hissed.  "Language." Namjoon mumbled.

Hoseok rolled his eyes at him. "Oh, because it's so important that the people who live above you and underneath you like you?!" He snarled. "No, but I could be sent out by your loud ass hissing." Namjoon mumbled. "Language." Hoseok smirked.

Namjoon chuckled slightly. "Yoongi's coming over soon." "Again?" Hoseok whined. "I wanna meet the wolf guy! Or the demon!" "They're... fine." Namjoon mumbled. "When do you want to meet the crew then?" "As soon as possible." Hoseok smiled.

With a slight nod, Namjoon smiled. "Alright. I'll call them." "Tonight?" Hoseok asked. "Tonight." Namjoon confirmed with a smile.

It was sooner than expected. Namjoon had called Yoongi, who suddenly said it would take a little longer to get there.

And here he was, a smile on his face as the other five creatures stood beside him, engulfing Namjoon in a tight hug.

"Hyung!" The boxy-smiled male yelled, his furry wolf ears from his hair twitching happily. Namjoon chuckled, petting him. "Hey Taehyungie." Taehyung purred at the soft touch.

"I've missed your company." Seokjin said gently, in a voice that was as sweet as sugar and as light as a feather. "I was wondering when you were going to invite us over." "Here we are." Namjoon smiled. "Thank you for being here, hyung."

Jungkook flew inside, immediately observing the new vampire in the room. He smiled, bunny teeth revealing. "Hello! I'm Jungkook!" Hoseok was taken back by his enthusiasm, but smiled widely. "I'm Hoseok!" "It's a pleasure!" Jungkook said happily.

Jimin carefully stepped inside, scraping his hooves carefully over the doormat, not getting the apartment dirty. A kind smile stood on his face. "Namjoon hyung." He said softly. "I hope I'm not coming in unattended?"

Namjoon shook his head. "I called all of you to meet my new friend." He said, smiling at Hoseok who was already happily chatting with Taehyung and Jungkook.

"Guys, this is Hoseok. A vampire who Yoongi tutors. He wanted to meet you." Namjoon said smiling, watching Hoseok laugh. It gave him a fluttery stomach.

Seokjin smiled at him. "Do you like him?" He asked. "Who? Hoseok?" Namjoon asked back. Seokjin nodded. "I do. He's a good guy." "I mean more than that. Your heart's pounding."

Namjoon frowned slightly, placing a hand over his heart, feeling it bonk against his rips. He must admit it could be something along that direction.

"I don't know." He replied. "Maybe..." "Well. He has a good heart, even though it doesn't work and is basically useless." Seokjin chuckled. Jimin nodded. "Look at how happy he is." Namjoon nodded softly, smiling at Hoseok's enthusiasm and happiness. "Is it normal to feel his warm?" He mumbled.

The night went on. Hoseok enjoyed his time, laughing and smiling with everyone. Namjoon seemed to only become happier with him. The night was perfect.

When the sun rose, everyone left, Yoongi and Jungkook quicker than the others. Night creatures shouldn't be out in the day.

Hoseok was slightly sad that they left, but even his yawns told Namjoon enough.

"Come on, to bed." Namjoon urged. "But the mess?" Hoseok asked. "I want to help!" Namjoon shook his head. "I'll do it, you go to bed." Hoseok sighed and stood up, grabbing three glasses, staring Namjoon is his eyes.

Hoseok could feel a spark of adrenaline run through his veins at that moment, a shine in Namjoon's eyes. "I'm helping." He said determinedly.

Namjoon sighed and chuckled. "As you wish." Hoseok and Namjoon picked the dishes, filled the sink, and got to drying. Hoseok placed the wet dirty towel on Namjoon's head, giggling at Namjoon's pouting lips.

"Hyung!" "Sorry!" Hoseok laughed. "You're going to kill me..." Namjoon whispered. Unfortunately, Hoseok heard that. "How so?" Namjoon looked at him. "Well... I- uh... Never mind. Let's just finish this and clean the rest tomorrow."

Hoseok tilted his head, watching as Namjoon placed the plates on one pile and set them in the cabinet they belonged in.

Hoseok mindlessly followed Namjoon into the bedroom, grabbing Namjoon's wrist roughly.

Namjoon flinched, letting out a whine at how tight Hoseok's grip was. "What was that about?" Hoseok asked, his voice deep and demanding, sending shivers down Namjoon's spine. "I... I-" "Just tell me." Hoseok said softly. "Please?"

Namjoon couldn't refuse the large puppy eyes. "I... I'm sure you hear my heartbeat." Hoseok nodded. "Seokjin hyung thinks it might be more than a friendship I feel with you."

There it was again, that shock of adrenaline. Hoseok's gaze dropped from Namjoon's eyes to his lips, observing them with anticipating eyes.

Namjoon wondered what Hoseok was thinking. The silence was delightful, taking their time to observe each other's handsome faces. Every curve, flaw, shine.

Hoseok gulped nervously, feeling the need to lean in. The rush of adrenaline seemed addicting, like he wanted to feel more than just his aching fangs for Namjoon's skin and blood.

Hoseok closed his eyes shut, closing the gap between their lips, almost sighing of relief when he felt Namjoon's plump lips against his own.

His actions took Namjoon by surprise, his heartbeat increasing. His breath stuck in his throat when he felt Hoseok's hands on his waist, gripping his hips to pull him closer, pushing his lips apart ever so slightly to place another kiss on them. And another, and another, until the soft smooching of their kisses filled the quiet room.

Was it an accident? Namjoon had no idea, but it felt so god damn right to feel Hoseok against him.

Hoseok could hear Namjoon's heartbeat speed up, the adrenaline rushing over his body, almost making him want to rut his hips against Namjoon's.

"H-hyung..." Namjoon mumbled, gently parting their kissing session. "What was that?" Hoseok panted slightly, just slightly. He gulped, feeling the adrenaline slowly fade.

He didn't want it to fade!

"I... I don't know." Hoseok mumbled. "But it felt... so right..." Namjoon nodded in agreement. They made eye contact again, another silence filling the room, the air thickening around them.

Namjoon grabbed Hoseok's shoulders, pulling him closer to him to connect their lips once more. Hoseok felt it again.

That adrenaline...

Hoseok cupped Namjoon's cheeks, kissing back as he felt the adrenaline increase, becoming bigger and bigger with the temptation.

Their loving kiss turned into a make-out session, soft squelching of their wet lips and tongues colliding seemed louder, the feeling of the heat in their body becoming more addicting with every kiss.

It wasn't until Hoseok pushed Namjoon back on the bed he realized what the temptation was.

Thirst.

A big wave of thirst filled his throat. Swallowing his saliva, Hoseok's eyes devoured Namjoon's vulnerable body. Seeing the embarrassment on his face from getting a bit excited from just  make-out session made Hoseok chuckle.

A deep seductive chuckle.

"Am I that good?" He teased. Namjoon's cheeks tinted with a heavy pink. "S-shut up..." "Why don't you tilt your neck for me?" Hoseok asked lowly, climbing on top of Namjoon's body, licking his emerging fangs.

Namjoon's eyes widened. "H-Hoseok!" "Hm?" He hummed, his lips kissing both of Namjoon's cheeks, his jaw, his Adam's apple, to his collarbone, where Hoseok took a whiff of Namjoon's blood.

The wild heartbeat made him even thirstier, his eyes glowing a crimson red.

"Stop Hoseok. You don't want this." Namjoon said, his voice shaking. Hoseok scoffed softly against his skin, kissing his collarbone before leaning to his ear and whispering. "I want you."

He could hear Namjoon gulp nervously. "So tilt your head for me. I'm thirsty for your blood." Hoseok hissed softly. Namjoon didn't want to do it. He didn't want to listen and show Hoseok that he was weak to his commands, but the offer was tempting...

Slowly, without noticing it himself, Namjoon had tilted his head, exposing the smooth tan skin of his neck and shoulder, making Hoseok hiss out in thirst.

His hands caressed Namjoon's chest kissing over his neck before he settled his fangs at the right place to bite, sinking the sharp blades into the epidermis of Namjoon's skin, groaning once he felt Namjoon's flesh and veins so smoothly around his fangs, blood leaking from the cut into his mouth, spilling onto Namjoon's chest.

Namjoon gasped, wanting to scream out of the sudden pain. But he didn't. He kept quiet, except for his heavy fast breathing and soft sniffles of silent tears that rolled down his cheeks.

Hoseok looked up at him from the corner of his eyes, wiping the tears away with his thumb. He carefully slid his fangs from the wound, careful not to cut it further open.

"You taste so good... Even better when it's right from your veins." He said softly, panting lightly. Namjoon turned his head to him weakly, seeing the blood dripping down his chest, the cold fluid making him shiver.

He weakly pulled Hoseok's chin up to face him, placing another quick kiss on his lips. It felt so tight to do it, he didn't want to stop. So he did it again, and again, and again.

"I love you..." He mumbled in between the kisses. "I fucking love you Hoseok..." "Language." The vampire chuckled. "Screw that." Namjoon snarled, placing a deep passionate kiss on Hoseok's lips. "I want you to turn me into a vampire like you, hyung."

Hoseok's eyes widened. "But I don't know how." "But I do." Namjoon smiled. "I need to drink your blood." Hoseok tilted his head, smiling slightly. "Wait here, don't move." Namjoon smiled, watching Hoseok sprint to the kitchen.

He felt his lips, the tingling of their wild kisses still leaving a magical feeling behind.

After five minutes or so, Hoseok cane back with a cup and a wet towel. "Here." He said softly, handing Namjoon the cup, who recognized the substance inside as blood. He smiled. "What's that for?" He asked, carefully sitting up to sip from the cup. An immediate rush of pain filled his veins.

"To clean you up." Hoseok replied, tapping the towel on Namjoon's open wound to clean it slightly, before carefully cleaning the rest of his chest. "Thank you..." Namjoon's voice was hoarse and husky, his heart pumping wilder than it ever had. It made him exhausted. With the last sip and a kind smile, he felt his eyes close as he passed out.

Hoseok managed to grab the cup before it shattered on the ground, his eyes wide as Namjoon's heartbeat weakened. He wasn't dying... was he?

"Joonie?" He asked softly. "He's fine." Yoongi's voice called softly. "It's part of the transformation of his skin. His heart slows down, his skin gets paler, his blood gets thinner. You know." The man shrugged. Hoseok sighed of relief. "When will he wake up?"

The vampire shrugged. "Depends. Anyway, I'm going now. I forgot my keys. Try to lock the door next time you... kiss like that." Yoongi chuckled, waving a flustered Hoseok goodbye.

Hoseok smiled, sitting at the edge of the bed and listening to Namjoon's slow and steady breathing, his weak heartbeats calming him.

His head laid on Namjoon's chest, feeling relaxed and calm. A hand stroked his hair, a deep chuckle snapping him out of his thoughts.

He looked up, seeing Namjoon's half-lidded red eyes stare at him. "Comfortable?" His husky voice asked. Hoseok nodded. "Very." "Good." Namjoon chuckled again.

"How do you feel?" Hoseok asked softly, caressing his cheek. "I feel thirsty, but not enough to go wild. I guess I'm still adapting." Hoseok nodded at Namjoon's calm reply. "Want to hunt together later tonight?"

Namjoon smiled, nodding gladly. "I'd love to." Hoseok sat up, pressing a deep loving kiss on Namjoon's lips, seeing small fangs poking from his teeth. A cute chuckle escaped his lips. "So small!" "So were yours. Watch out with your next words because when they've grown I'll bite you." Namjoon teased.

Hoseok smiled. "Small fangs... You're so cute." Namjoon smiled, letting Hoseok brush his messy hair from his eyes. "I love you, Joonie." Hoseok said softly, gently leaning in to kiss him. Namjoon wrapped his arms around his waist, pulling him closer in his embrace.

He was never going to let go.
