[|Eating You|JungHope|]
"You're Samjang?!"
[\|<>|/]
Was Jungkook planning on holding back a possessed puppet from eating him?
Absolutely not!
And it's all the fault of himself for his curiosity and the demon he accidentally freed, exactly twelve years ago.

Jungkook was a small boy, silently crying in his classroom seat with his yellow poker dot umbrella over his head.
"He's a ghost!" Children yelled.
"Jungkook is a ghost!"
"Creepy!"
"Stay away from him or you'll die!"
Jungkook looked up once his teacher walked in. "Good morning children, let's all greet each other! Stand up." The teacher said.
Jungkook stood up, and everyone looked at him.
"What?"
"He's doing it again."
"There's no one there."
Jungkook frowned, widening his eyes when the teacher's skin turned grey and her eyes a pitch black. Sharp, crooked teeth formed in her black mouthed smile as her head turned one full round on her body.
"You're the only student that listens." She said in a high pitched monstrous tone.
"You deserve a reward!"
Jungkook quickly sat back down and covered himself with the umbrella. New tears streamed from his eyes as the students ran out of the classroom. No one knew what those glowing Chinese signs were, but it wasn't in their alphabet.
"What's going on here?" The real teacher asked as she came in. "Oh? Jungkook? Are you alright?" "Go away." Jungkook muttered in tears. "Go away..."
That same day, the teacher's demon flew around him when he walked home. "Are we walking to school together?" The demon asked, floating with him. "No, go away!" Jungkook whined. "But that's skipping class! That's for bad students!" The demon shrieked, grabbing Jungkook's open umbrella and pulling at it.
Jungkook yelled and whined for the demon to let go and go away, but it didn't.
The man behind Jungkook raised an eyebrow, lifted his umbrella and let the tip stomp onto the ground. The falling leaves whirled around the demon, sending it high up into the air, until it turned into ash and dust.
Jungkook turned around and looked at the man in a fancy blue blazer. "Did you make her disappear?" He asked. The man nodded. "I did." "How?" Jungkook asked pouting.
The man chuckled and lifted his umbrella once again, letting the leaves whirl around.
Jungkook tilted his head and tried the same. "Mine doesn't do that!" He whined. The man chuckled. "If you do something for me, you can have my umbrella." "Deal!" Jungkook yelled immediately.
They walked to a passage, a tunnel covered in leaves, inside and outside. "On the other side you'll find a house. In that house is something I need. It's a fan named Pancheon. You know about the fires on the north mountains. I need it to put them out." The man said.
"And why don't you do it yourself?" Jungkook countered. "Let's just say that I'm not human. Only special humans like you, can see me and enter the house. Let's call me a fairy for now." The man replied.
Jungkook smiled and nodded, walking through the tunnel. "I'm the special human." He said to himself. As the man said, on the top of the hill stood a house. A summer house.
With a slight bit of hesitation, Jungkook entered the house. He was met with candles spread all over the house. No lights, just candles.
The house was mostly white, marble and stone details to the brick of the Chinese syllables he didn't know.
At the end of the hallway, hung a fan. Feathers white like angels', and the wood smoother than that of his own skin, the red and orange sunset-colored feathers overlapping made it seem as if it was snow that fell onto the mountains.
Jungkook took it with a smile, turning back and walking down the stairs. He was almost at the door when he heard a deep sigh.
"Aish... This human probably can't hear me either." The male voice growled. Jungkook ignored the voice and continued walking, when his poker dot umbrella suddenly fell onto the floor.
"Hey, your umbrella fell." The male snarled.
Jungkook turned around and picked it up, quickly turning back.
"You can hear me, can you?" The male smirked.
Jungkook looked up at him. The man had long dark brown hair like pure chocolate, eyes brown like hazelnut, and a red silk robe around his strong body that showed off his pale collar bones and the chain tattoo around his neck.
"Ah... You can." He chuckled. Jungkook gulped nervously when the man pushed his jacket aside slightly. "Why is that fan in your pocket?" He asked. "It's mine." Jungkook pouted. "A fairy asked me to bring him this to put out the fire on the mountains." He replied.
The man inhaled sharply. "A fairy you say?" He raised an eyebrow when Jungkook nodded. "Black hair, slightly curly, pale, looks expensive and has a black umbrella with a devil horn on it?" Jungkook nodded again.
The male growled. "Listen human! My name is Jung Hoseok, and that fan is not helping that fairy." He spoke. Jungkook tilted his head. "Why not?" "That fan belongs to me, so it only works with me."
Hoseok furrowed his eyebrows. "I can take you to the mountains and put the fire out, you just have to put the candles out." Jungkook smiled. "What do I get in return?" Hoseok sighed annoyed. "If you put those candles out for me I'll protect you when you call my name."
Jungkook smiled. "Deal!" And as Hoseok told him to do, with wide anticipating eyes, he watched as one by one the chain tattoos on his limbs faded into ash, freeing him.
With a roar of freedom, Hoseok snapped his fingers. The house disappeared, and Hoseok's appearance had changed.
Hoseok widened his eyes, looking around him. "Am I... free?" He smiled, touching the grass that waved over his fingers. "I'm free! The prison is finally gone!" He smirked, pulling the fan from Jungkook's pocket.
"I'd kill for some alcohol, you probably don't want that, so goodbye!" Hoseok yelled, about to leave when Jungkook's small arms wrapped around him. "You promised to protect me."
Hoseok clicked his tongue. "That's right. When you call my name I'll protect you. And do you remember what my name is?" He smirked.
Jungkook pouted. "Of course I do! It's-" Hoseok snapped his fingers, a small orange glowing orb flying from Jungkook's head onto Hoseok's fingers.
Jungkook frowned sadly. "It's... It's..." "You can't remember, can you?" Jungkook shook his head. "It's because I erased it." Hoseok smirked, blowing the memory of his name into the air, laughing mockingly as Jungkook tried to reach out to it.
"Aigoo! It's gone!" Hoseok laughed. "Well, since I'll only protect you when you call my name, I have nothing to do here." "But sir!" "What now?!" Hoseok growled. "Where is the house?"
Hoseok sighed deeply. "Okay. Human, you seem smart enough to know what a prison is. Who gets locked up in those?" "Bad people." Jungkook replied. "And I was trapped there. What am I?" Hoseok asked. "Are you a bad man?" "Correct human." Hoseok smirked.
"I'm a jerk!" He laughed. "And so we will never see each other again. Goodbye!" Hoseok laughed, waving the fan at himself and disappearing into a cloud of smoke.
Jungkook frowned sadly as soft tears streamed from his face. "What was his name... What was his name? Where is my home?"

"Mister Jeon?" Jungkook looked up. "Yes, Namjoon?" He asked. "We have to leave to Gwangju. Like... now." Namjoon, his personal assistant said, holding a tray of coffee.
Jungkook nodded, taking one before walking with Namjoon to the car, stepping into the passenger's seat.
Jungkook sipped his coffee every now and then, watching the road. He was constantly watching for demons. He figured if the man from twelve years ago wasn't going to show up, he might as well save himself, while Hoseok was getting well acquainted with a possessed child.
"Yah! Listen, I can never become the God of the Underworld and Spirit Realm if you don't work with me!" He yelled, leaning his hands on the bat. In the dark room laid a child, chained and tied to the bed. Grey skin and sharp crooked teeth with pitch-black eyes laughed at him in a mocking manner.
"I heard Samjang has come to life." The demon spoke. Hoseok scoffed. "A myth." "No! I smelled it! I left a mark on the one with Samjang's blood!" The demon yelled. It bit the child's arm and smirked. "I left this mark on him. If you let me live, I'll possess a different child, and I'll help you find him."
Hoseok tsked three times, grabbing the bat tightly and began to smash what he could. "No! No! Please! I promise!" The demon shrieked. "Aish! You demons promise everything! I'm one too you know!" Hoseok snarled. "Do you know how annoying it is to do good?! Once I become God nothing will be the same anymore. This earth will become a second Hell. Global warming will be infected with your souls and eventually end up infecting humans, creating demons from everywhere."
The demon laughed again. Hoseok smirked. "But that time hasn't come yet!" He yelled, smashing the groomsmen's doll, letting it light up in smoke as the demon shrieked out in pain and disappeared from the child.
Jungkook frowned when the car stopped in front of the lights, waiting for everyone on foot to pass.
And then his eyes fell wide. His doe eyes fell onto the man he saw. Twelve years ago, and he didn't change one thing. He still wore the same clothes and he still wore the same fur coat, that same sickening grin and those same hazelnut brown eyes with his now short brown hair.
The man's eyes fell on him, and his grin grew wider. He stopped at the end of the lights, waving his hand in a fan-like manner, tilting his head slightly with an amusing grin as he walked away.
Jungkook opened the car door and ran out, following the man he hadn't seen in twelve long torturing years, ignoring Namjoon's yelling.
"Yah! Hey!" The man scoffed and stopped, turning around to Jungkook, who gasped. "It's you..." "Hello human, you've grown older." "And you haven't changed at all." Jungkook spat. Hoseok chuckled. "You should've tried harder to find me."
Jungkook scowled. "I didn't try to find you!" He countered. A lie. The biggest lie he ever told. "Sure." "I'm serious." Jungkook snarled. "Over time I've learned that there was something called a Kumi, an angry spirit trapped for something unforgivable. Were you one of those?"
"Are you comparing me to an angry spirit?" Hoseok said, offendedly clutching his fur coat. "Ouch." Jungkook huffed. "Well. I don't need you." "You never called my name." Hoseok countered. "I didn't need to." "You don't know it." Hoseok growled. "I do!" Jungkook yelled.
Hoseok widened his eyes and looked at him. "What?" "I know your name." Jungkook smiled, knowing he had the demon's full attention. "Oh yeah?" Hoseok growled. "Say it. Say my name."
Jungkook scoffed. "I don't need to." He said and turned around and walked away. Hoseok chased after him. "Hey! Say my name! Say the three syllables of my name!" He yelled. Jungkook gulped. He couldn't get out of it. The demon had trapped him in the corner.
"Fine... I don't know it." "I knew it." Hoseok chuckled. "I knew you couldn't." Jungkook frowned. "I didn't need you anyway." He spat, walking past him. Hoseok scoffed and growled, walking the other way.
But that night something horrible happened...
The bride's doll had found her victim. Her husband had been taken away, so she will have revenge..
Jungkook sat in the living room with a cup of tea, frowning when the lights flickered. He stood up and grabbed his poker dot umbrella.
"Hello?"
No one answered. Of course, no one would. Jungkook screamed when the light bulbs shattered, one by one dimming the light. The glass cut through his skin, the scent of his blood roaming through the house, and further away...
Jungkook ran to the bathroom, tying a piece of cloth around his bleeding arm and pushed the doors closed when he saw the bride's doll hop towards the door and began to pound at it.
Jungkook began to cry, soft tears streaming down his cheeks. "What's going on?!" He yelled, tightly grabbing his umbrella.
Hoseok widened his eyes, sniffing the air when the rich scent of blood filled his nostrils. Samjang's blood. He licked his lips and immediately sped towards it. He knew he would become a God.
Every demon knows that Samjang's blood and flesh can give a demon Godly powers that even the leaders of the galaxy would be jealous of. Hoseok was dead set on getting them.
He growled at the other demons, some in their black shadow, unable to find a body or earned one, others in their human form or their possessed human.
Hoseok growled at them, bursting through the apartment door where the scent came from. He widened his eyes when he saw the bride's doll. Scoffing, he grabbed it and twisted its neck, throwing the ash transforming doll in the corner.
Jungkook hesitantly opened the door, widening his eyes. "Did you..."
Hoseok turned around at the voice, his eyes wider than plates. "You're Samjang?!" "Samjang?" Jungkook asked. "Did you come to protect me?"
Hoseok scoffed rudely. "No." He shook his head, baring his sharp flesh-tearing teeth. "I came to eat you."
Jungkook widened his eyes, about to run away when the windows shattered, demons flying in, chanting the same words.
"Samjang's blood!"
"I smell Samjang's blood!"
"Samjang's here!"
Hoseok growled at them, trying to push them away. His eyes widened sadly once he realized that he couldn't stop them. There were hundreds of demons coming this way, and Hoseok couldn't protect his prey...
He snapped his fingers with the wildest of regret. "Jungkook! Yell my name!"
"But I don't know it!" Jungkook yelled back, his umbrella not enough to curse and bless the demons away from him.
Hoseok blew the orb in his fingers towards him. "Call my name, Jungkook." He mumbled.
Jungkook gasped once the orb hit him, and he wasted no time to scream it out. "JUNG HOSEOK!"
Hoseok weakened for a slight moment, power flowing through him. A promise with a human was sacred. It can't be broken.
Hoseok growled loudly, sinking his sharp teeth into the demons and ripped them apart, their souls vanishing into nothing as his claws dug through their shadowy skin.
He felt like a God.
Jungkook smiled and shook as the demons had set their sharp crooked teeth into his skin, not deep enough to eat him when Hoseok had already pulled them away and killed them.
His eyes were red like fire, his sharp teeth covered in the blank inky blood of his own kind.
And then his eyes met Jungkook's.
"I'm still going to eat you." He growled lowly. "But I'll give you a choice, human." He spat. "Die, or turn."
Jungkook gulped. "Hoseok... in what way turn?" "Turn into a demon." Hoseok replied. "You keep your body, your soul will just be torn apart and replaced with a part of mine, replacing your humanity."
Jungkook winced. "It sounds painful..." "Of course it does, I'm eating your skin and pushing my soul in you." Hoseok snapped. "You have three seconds, human."
"Three..."
Jungkook was scared.
"Two..."
But he didn't want to die.
"One..."
So he looked up into Hoseok's eyes.
"Zero.." Hoseok growled, smirking as he bared his sharp teeth. "Turn me." Jungkook mumbled. "Eat me, and turn me. I want to be able to take revenge on you."
Hoseok chuckled. "Foolish human. You've made a contract with the new Devil." Hoseok growled, his voice dropping a few octaves lower, causing Jungkook to gulp and shut his eyes tightly.
He screamed out in pain when he felt Hoseok rip his skin off his arm, his teeth sinking into the flesh of his human body, ripping it off his bones and swallowing it with a groan.
"It tastes as good as it smells." He smirked, licking his lips. "Now..." He bit into his own skin. "You need to eat my flesh."
"But that's yucky!" Jungkook whined. "I'd have to pass my soul by a kiss and I'm for sure not kissing your pretty lips." Hoseok snarled. "So eat my fle-"
Jungkook pulled Hoseok's lips onto his own, with furrowed eyebrows, he waited for any pain. Hoseok had widened his eyes, slowly getting back up and cupping Jungkook's face as he passed a part of his soul to the human male.
Jungkook gasped loudly and shrieked, grabbing his throat. Hoseok touched his own lips softly. Did they really just kiss?
Did he really like it?!
Why didn't he pull away?!
He pulled Jungkook into a soft hug. "Calm down." He mumbled. "It hurts! It hurts!" Jungkook screamed, his eyes twitching and his body weakening. He became light-headed, licking his lips as he began to smell a delicious scent.
With a sudden raspy growl that erupted from his throat, Jungkook set his growing sharp shark-like teeth into his own skin, gnawing on his arm.
Hoseok quickly pulled his arm away. "It's only mine to eat." He growled lowly. "Your skin is mine. Your flesh is mine. You are mine. You belong to me, Jeon Jungkook."
Jungkook's red eyes stared into those of Hoseok's, tilting his head far to the side, licking his lips again as a dark hungry smirk formed on his lips.
"I sense darkness..." "Only now?" Hoseok scoffed. "It's in here." Jungkook grinned, tapping his chest where his heart should be. "If only it existed." Jungkook chuckled. "Such a dark demon." He pouted.
Hoseok growled darkly. "Don't start, Jungkook." He growled. "I'll kill you again." Jungkook chuckled again, much deeper and darker. "I'd gladly join you. If it were... others."
Hoseok bit his lip, his regular teeth already returned. "Are you hungry?" Jungkook nodded vigorously. "Very hungry.." He growled. Hoseok couldn't help but chuckle. "I'm starting to like this too quickly."
Jungkook smiled darkly. A part of his soul meant literally taking away his humanity. Nothing about his former life was left after that one kiss. Not even one gen, no blood, no flesh. Nothing.
The one thing that stayed, was the punishment for freeing Hoseok. Samjang's blood was Jungkook's punishment.
Hoseok scoffed. "Well then. Let's make a meal of this new generation." He growled lowly, an amused grin on his face.
Power rushed in his veins, the fire at his fingertips and his strength stronger he's ever felt. He didn't know the powers yet. He'd have to find out along his way.
Jungkook quickly began to bite at his own arm again, growling lowly when Hoseok pulled him away again. "I don't need someone to rule next to me." He growled. "But I'll keep you as my meal, my servant, and my prey."
Jungkook chuckled. "When is this new era beginning then?" "Right now." Hoseok growled. He knew the earth was dying. The global warming was caused by him and many other demons. The souls of the undead stacked up on the core of the earth, heating it up.
Once enough souls pushed against the magma, the world would falter in fire. It would be chaotic and painful. Humans would be taken by the undead souls and regain a new life as a demon, the soul belonging to the human.
There were many different kinds. Hoseok knew them all.
Those who had wings,
Those who had fangs,
Those who controlled ice or wind,
Those who were flesh-tearing monsters..
The world had changed. It changed too much for the leftover humans' liking. Hoseok sat on his new throne, an amused smile on his lips as his mentor kneeled before him.
Everyone feared the new Devil.
And they should..
"What are you here for, Yoongi?" Hoseok asked with a smirk. "I must thank you." Hoseok said quickly before Yoongi could speak. "Without you, little Jungkook would have never freed me." He chuckled.
Yoongi growled. "He still smells delightful..." "And it's mine." Hoseok smirked. "He's mine." "Of course." Yoongi scoffed. "I was asking permission to close the Spirit Realm."
Hoseok raised an eyebrow. "Why?" "Demons who have recently turned an are still partly human have tried to escape through the Spirit Realm. We can't have that happening." Yoongi growled.
Jungkook tilted his head playfully. "Why not just kill them?" "If only it were that easy, Kookie." Hoseok snarled. "But demons are smart. They know we will kill them and that's exactly what they want. The soul wants a new host to kill so I have less and fewer demons to control until my might has slipped from me."
Yoongi gave a simple nod. "Indeed." Jungkook frowned. "I don't like them. They make my body itch." He growled, the sound rumbling in his throat as the small black spikes in the back of his neck stood up alarmed.
He sniffed. "Someone's here." He snarled, baring his sharp teeth. "Kookie is a great guard and boyfriend once you have him." Hoseok chuckled, patting Jungkook's shoulder as a sign he had permission to look for the intruder.
Yoongi bowed once again. "Jimin and Taehyung are currently slaughtering two of the demon souls. If there is any more I can do for you, just tell me."
"Yes, what is Seokjin up to?" Hoseok asked with a grin. Yoongi looked up. "The previous Devil? Cleaning the castle as you requested." Hoseok smirked. "Perfect. You may leave. Tell Namjoon I said hello." "Of course." Yoongi bowed, taking his leave.
Jungkook hopped back, black blood covering his sharp teeth. "She tried to take you from me." He growled. "No one takes my Devil.." Hoseok smirked. "No one." He replied with a dark chuckle that echoed through the castle, a chuckle that would haunt Seokjin for a long as he lived.
