🗝Two demons🗝

Yoongi growled as he stared up at the man he cornered against the wall in a dark alley. The man seemed unfazed. Yoongi raised an eyebrow.

"Aren't you afraid of me?" He said in a growling tone, demonic horns sharp and smooth pointed up out of his grey skin. Red markings covered his face, like a demon would have from a human's imagination.

He wore a dark blue winter jacket, black jeans covering his legs as his claws held one of the man's arms to the wall. He had sharp teeth, two fangs at the top that grew over his lips and two a the bottom that grew over his upper lip.

The man shrugged. "Eh, Not really." He said coldly. "In fact," He chuckled. "I think you and I aren't that different."

The man lifted his head, deep black eyes staring back at Yoongi. Just like himself his voice had become deeper and more demonic.

Yoongi stared at the man before growling and letting him go. Without a word, he walked away.

The demon raised an eyebrow at him, following him. He didn't even try to be sneaky to Yoongi. He had nothing to hide for one of his own.

After a few minutes of the demon following Yoongi, he had enough. Yoongi growled and turned around to face him. "Stop. Following. Me." He growled lowly.

The demon grinned, his taller body walking next to him. "Can't help it. You don't meet your own kind every day." How bad it hurt his pride, Yoongi had to agree. Though it had not been his own kind. His silence made the demon smile.

"The name's Namjoon." Yoongi stared at him blankly for a few seconds. "Yoongi." He replied. The two continued walking.

Yoongi frowned slightly. He had never seen a demon other than himself before. Was this truly all Namjoon had to offer?

"Is this your true form?" Yoongi asked coldly, not even looking at Namjoon when he asked it. Namjoon turned to look at him though, rubbing the back of his neck. "Well... yeah... Pretty much. No crazy horns or markings if that's what you mean..." Namjoon replied.

Yoongi huffed in response as Namjoon kept staring at him. Namjoon's black eyes had turned into a beautiful chocolate brown iris, looking human. Yoongi had pulled back his demon form when he left Namjoon in the alley. He was ashamed.

Namjoon grinned to himself and wrapped an arm around Yoongi's neck. "What do you say, wanna go for a reap?" He asked. Yoongi pushed his arm off. "You are free to do so. I will keep my appetite fed with human food."

Namjoon raised an eyebrow. "Human... food? No souls or flesh?" Yoongi shook his head. "No." Namjoon shrugged. "Why don't you show me one of those after I ate?" "Who says I'll wait for you?" Yoongi snarled.

Namjoon moved his jacket aside slightly, revealing a gun. "I don't think you'd like a bullet in your eye, darling." He chuckled. "Threatening me to stay with you. How pathetic of you." Yoongi scowled. Namjoon chuckled. "I'm a demon. I love doing what I do."

Yoongi didn't want to continue talking to the demon. He wanted to walk amongst the humans in peace. When he pinned Namjoon it was because he thought he could take small pieces of the human soul and leave. Turns out luck wasn't on his side.

Namjoon's eyes spot a lonely man, smoking in an alleyway. Perfect for him to go unnoticed.

He walked towards the man, pulling the gun from his jacket and pushing it against the man's chest.

The man widened his eyes at the sudden demon in front of him, dead black eyes staring at him. Namjoon smirked, watching ad the man fell down lifelessly and disappeared into ash.

Yoongi had widened his eyes ever so slightly. "How did you do that?" "Do what?" Namjoon asked, placing his gun back in his jacket and smiling. "Kill that man without doing anything to him." Yoongi growled.

Namjoon laughed softly. "Don't play dumb Yoongi. I got powers too you know." He grinned. Yoongi scoffed lowly and turned his back, walking away. Namjoon ran after him. "Now. About that human food..."

Yoongi happily chewed on the lamb skewers, his mind being at peace with the taste, while Namjoon had been staring and poking at the food. "What in the Devil's name is this?" "Lamb skewers." Yoongi replied. "It's the best food you'll ever taste."

Namjoon observed the food, again poking it. Yoongi sighed deeply, beginning to get annoyed with him. He picked up a piece that Namjoon had pulled off and held it in front of Namjoon's lips. "Open up you big baby." He snarled.

Namjoon growled lowly before opening his mouth. Yoongi placed the piece of meat on his tongue and moved back to eating his own food.

Namjoon chewed, tasting the weird human food before tilting his head. He picked another piece with his fingers and ate it. After that came another, and another, and another, until the whole skewer was gone.

Yoongi looked at him with confusion. "Humans do not eat that fast." He growled. "They take it easy to enjoy their food, and enjoy the time if someone's there with them."

Namjoon looked at him, wiping his lips clean. "So, humans are socialites?" "Not exactly." Yoongi replied. "It really depends on the person-"

Yoongi's eyes widened, his chopsticks fell out of his hand and clattered onto the table. He abruptly stood up and ran out of the cafe, running after the shadow as fast as he could.

Anger rose within him, his body aching as he yelled out in the middle of the street. "COME BACK HERE!" His demonic voice roared through the streets.

"Yoongi!" Namjoon yelled. Yoongi's chest heaved up and down, trying to calm himself. "Don't. Start. Namjoon." He growled demonically. Namjoon shrunk down a bit. "You're... uhm... starting to show... a little." He mumbled quietly, pointing at his forehead, indicating where Yoongi's horns had begun to grow.

Yoongi stared at him for a few seconds before kneeling down in utter panic. He hid his face in his arms and his arms between his legs. What was he thinking?

Namjoon wrapped an arm around him, rubbing up and down his back before pulling him up. "Come on. Let's get you some rest."

In the shadows, a young boy panted, his black hair fell in front of his right eye, covering it completely. He pulled his mouth mask down and let himself slide down the wall.

"Jungkook?" The boy looked up. "Seokjin hyung..." The young man smiled at the Jungkook. "What troubles you?"

Jungkook's eye went back to the street where he saw Yoongi crouching down, with Namjoon rubbing his back. Seokjin peeked with him. "Interesting. That man is also a vessel." He spoke softly.

Jungkook's eyes flashed a bright red. "What?" He spat. "A demon." Seokjin said again. Jungkook reached for the sword on his back, a katana, more specifically, but Seokjin grabbed his wrist calmly. "Look."

Jungkook watched with pain in his heart. "I'm going to kill him. Both of them." Seokjin shook his head. Jungkook widened his eyes when Namjoon pulled Yoongi up, finally getting a clear sight of him.

"Yoongi is alive?! But he was executed!" He yelled. Seokjin shrugged. "Perhaps it was not yet his time. You should know." He spoke calmly. Jungkook looked at Yoongi, a sudden protection taking over him. He clenched his hands to fists.

"Do not worry brother. I won't let you down again. I will save you from that monster."

Yoongi rolled his eyes at Namjoon. "Stop being so overdramatic when you kill." He snarled rudely. Namjoon looked at him with a sarcastic frown. "Why? Did you forget what we are?"

"Of course not!" Yoongi spat with a frown. "But I think you don't have to scare them." Namjoon shrugged. "It's not my fault. They look at their worst nightmares." Yoongi rolled his eyes. "We are not that bad."

Namjoon frowned. He could clearly remember Yoongi saying things like: "Let this one live, Namjoon." "Go a day without killing, Namjoon." "Leave this one alone, Namjoon."

Namjoon growled lowly. "It's true." He pointed at his black eye. "A man's just gotta look me in the eye, and his soul belongs to me." He said demonically. Yoongi blinked at him. "What makes you think I'm scared of that?"

Namjoon leaned against an abandoned building, covered in wood loose pieces of brick and planks. "Well, I thought we-" He let out a small yell as the bricks were he leaned to shoved back into the house.

He looked up, hearing the bricks crumble down. His eyes widened when a huge brick wall (still stuck together) fell down, aiming directly for his head.

Namjoon kneeled down, waiting for the crash. But it never came. He looked up to find the wall inched above his head, and a grey claw holding it up.

His eyes drifted to Yoongi, who lifted the rock with ease at his new form. He was taller, stronger. His horns were longer and his muscles seemed more buff, when really he just grew in length. His face had more red markings and his fangs had grown a bit too. His eyes were an empty white. Soulless.

"Stop. Staring. Namjoon." Yoongi growled. Namjoon stared at Yoongi with eyes wider he thought was possible. He quickly scrambled from the rock, watching as Yoongi let it fall.

Somewhere Namjoon thought Yoongi might like him. Why else would he save him?

Yoongi returned to his human form, hiding his hands in his pockets. Namjoon breathed a wow, making Yoongi growl. "I do not favor this form." He snarled.

Namjoon rubbed the back of his neck. "Well... I- You just always make yourself look like such a pretty boy. It's different..."

Yoongi scowled at him. "I am not a pretty boy. This what I looked like when I was human." He said lowly. Namjoon stared at him. "You were human?" "Fool." Yoongi spat.

He avoided eye contact with Namjoon. "When I was human, I did something unspeakable. Becoming this is my punishment." He growled. "Now I seek redemption."

Namjoon bit his bottom lip. How was he supposed to respond? Nice kill? Sorry? Good luck? He was in a circle of choices. So he decided with saying nothing.

A loud yell jumped from behind them. Namjoon and Yoongi turned around faster than ever, only not fast enough as a sharp sword penetrated Namjoon's throat. A katana.

Blood was flowing out of the wound like he was killed, but he stumbled back and slid down against the wall. "God it stings!" He yelled. Yoongi crouched down next to him, growling at the mysterious masked ninja.

He carefully pulled the sharp katana from Namjoon's throat, inspecting the flesh and skin. Namjoon hissed in pain. "Are you okay?" Yoongi asked. Namjoon growled lowly. "I'm fine. I'll heal. It just stings really bad."

Yoongi tightened his grip on the handle of the katana, standing up and looking at the ninja. His eyes widened when he pulled his mask down.

His hands trembled. "How are you alive?" He asked lowly. "The same way you are." Yoongi growled at his answer, sprinting towards him. "I killed you!" He yelled. He had to know.

Just before the sword penetrated the ninja's skin, the ninja grabbed the sharp blade. It didn't hurt him. Yoongi stumbled back. "I... I killed you... How are you... this?"

Jungkook. It was his brother. He also had horns, long fangs, and grey skin, but with different red markings.

A young man stepped behind Jungkook, laying a hand on his shoulders. "Do not attack the demon. You came to talk, Jungkook." He said. Jungkook nodded.

"Brother, come with me." He said lowly. Yoongi snarled. "Why should I?!" "He is a demon brother!" Jungkook protested. "He will kill you!"

Yoongi's breathing hitched, his horns growing from his skin, his eyes returning to their white and lifeless state.

Jungkook stood in shock. "But... how-" "When I killed you, I got executed. Almost. Someone had the brilliant idea to offer me. So they did."

Namjoon listened quietly. This was his chance to get to know Yoongi a bit.

"I had been judged, but I am not done on my journey. For killing you, this is my punishment. I became an Oni, and I seek redemption to die in peace."

Jungkook frowned. "Do you kill humans?" He asked growling. "No." Yoongi replied immediately. "That would not be human." Jungkook nodded. "How are you alive?" Yoongi asked lowly.

"When I died, I got pulled back. I felt a fire, a fury. I knew that there was something I had to do before I could rest." Jungkook answered. "I met Seokjin hyung, who taught me to control my anger."

"You're not doing a good job at it." Yoongi growled, pointing at Namjoon. "You hurt him." Jungkook nodded. "If I knew he was close to you I would have never done it." "Maybe he should teach you observation." Yoongi snarled, turning his back to his brother.

Jungkook sighed. "I missed you, brother." Yoongi hesitated. "I... I missed you too." Namjoon growled, standing next to Yoongi protectively. "Than why did you make him worry so much!? If I knew this I wouldn't have been so annoying as you call me all the time."

Yoongi sighed, grabbing Namjoon's jacket. "It doesn't matter. We have to split ways." He said lowly. Without a word to Jungkook and Seokjin, he walked away, pulling Namjoon with him.

Jungkook frowned. "Let's go Seokjin hyung." Seokjin nodded and followed Jungkook back home. It was clear to him they both needed time before they could see each other again.

Yoongi rubbed over the wound with a wet napkin, cleaning the blood away. Namjoon hissed at the feeling. "Come on Yoongi! I can heal myself!" "No. It looks inhuman. We have to make it look normal." Yoongi growled.

Namjoon rolled his eyes. "Stop trying to be human Yoongi!" He growled loudly. "Have you ever thought about that maybe you became a demon because you were meant to become one?!"

Yoongi stopped and shook his head. "I have not." "Than think about it. Maybe it was... fate." He snarled. "I don't believe in it, but I'm happy that I met you Yoongi." Namjoon said softly. Yoongi sighed. "I... Likewise." He mumbled.

There were a few minutes of silence. "Thank you." Namjoon mumbled. "For taking care of this... and saving me from that wall..." Yoongi stayed quiet, but uttered a simple: "Don't make such a big deal from it."

Namjoon bit his lip. Yoongi was not in his human form. He had relaxed his muscles and had to regain his energy. Turns out his demon form was the one he did not favor, and Namjoon couldn't help but stare at Yoongi's chest of which the shoulders were too big to fit a shirt or it'd rip.

Namjoon found it really cool. He was kinda jealous that he didn't have it. Yoongi stood up. "There. Not please be careful. And let it heal." He crawled onto the bed. They had moved into Yoongi's house.

Yoongi crawled onto his bed, his body spread out like a rug, his horns almost impaling his pillows. Namjoon looked at him. "You're really beautiful. No matter if you're human, demon, or how you are now."

Yoongi raised an eyebrow at him. "I've never heard of a gay demon before." Namjoon chuckled. "I didn't think I was. Then I met you." "So? Do you expect me to be gay for you?" Yoongi scoffed. Namjoon grinned. "Not necessarily. It'd be nice. I'll pay for the lamb skewers next time if you kiss me."

Yoongi bit his lip. They were quite expensive... He shrugged. "A kiss won't beat lamb skewers." He grumbled, pulling Namjoon closer to him and pecked his lips before pushing him back. Namjoon growled lowly. "Not a peck, Yoongs. A kiss."

Yoongi scowled. "You're evil." "I'm a demon darling." Namjoon chuckled, crawling over Yoongi's body. Yoongi frowned coldly. "If you think that you are going to get me to kiss you then you'll have to try harder."

Before Yoongi could mutter a curse, Namjoon had pushed their lips together. Yoongi squirmed, trying to get away, but Namjoon growled and cupped his face to keep him in place.

Yoongi's lips were surprisingly soft and cold. Yoongi struggled a bit, first even wondering if his fangs hurt his skin. But sooner than expected, he began to like how Namjoon's lips felt. He slowly began to kiss back.

He could feel Namjoon smirk. "Did you finally give in?" "It took ten minutes." Yoongi snarled. "Ten minutes of me loving your lips." Namjoon chuckled. Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Right."

"So. Are you gay now?"

Yoongi growled. He did want to feel Namjoons lips more. He huffed annoyed. "I guess..." He grumbled. Namjoon immediately connected their lips again. Jungkook would come later. Now it was Namjoon and him.

The End
