☁️A portal to their will☁️
Jungkook's POV
I bit my lip, adding a bit of the red serum. I closed my eyes and waited for another explosion. Nothing.
I gasped. I did it... The little tube filled with the shining black substance. I quickly opened the safe and got out the other three different tubes. One in blue, one in red, and one in yellow.
I quickly mixed all the four liquids, widening my eyes when the final result came to my eyes. "Oh my Lord... Hyung! Hyung I did it!" I yelled loudly, running towards the laboratory of my partner.
"Hyung!" "I heard you Jungkook. Please, calm down." Namjoon chuckled. "Did you find out the calculations for the last formula?" He asked, putting his safety goggles down and the syringe.
I nodded quickly. "I did! I finally will be able to open the three portals! We can finally leave the human world hyung!" I yelled. Namjoon smiled widely and stood up immediately. "Let's not waste any time!"
We quickly ran back to my laboratory, Namjoon widened his eyes, seeing the three already set up portals, about twice as large as a normal human.
"When do we start?" He asked impatiently. "Now!" I carefully grabbed the tube, sharing the substance evenly in three different cups. "Which one do you want to activate the stones with?" I asked, grabbing two of the cups.
"The portal to Heaven, definitely." Namjoon replied smiling. I nodded. "Then the vampire realm and Hell are for me." I smiled. Namjoon carefully took the cup and kneeled down at the white portal, filling the diamond-shaped hole with the substance.
I did the same to the red and black portal, as we stepped back, waiting for the three creatures to step out.
We watched with wide eyes, as the portals lit up, three silhouettes behind them, slowly appearing into our vision. We were absolutely breathtaken. Three gorgeous men, each with their own aura.
An Angel, with white feathered wings, a smooth skin, plump lips. Crystal blue eyes looked into ours as a gentle smile greeted us. "You called for me?"
The demon sighed annoyed. "Stop being so nice to everyone. No one has a pure soul these days and clearly not them." He spat. He carefully swiped his hair back, avoiding his horns.
"Ah, please Taehyung. I'm trying to make these young men feel comfortable under the presence of us." The Angel said. His voice elegant and yet a light tone of frustration.
"Shut it Seokjin! I just want this to be over with so I can get back to my boyfriend!" Taehyung yelled with a loud threatening growl.
The vampire rolled his eyes. "Why did you call us? We have jobs to do. Some of us." He said lowly. I widened my eyes ever so slightly at the vampire. I hadn't gotten a good look at him until now.
The vampire's black bangs fell over his pale forehead, his blood-red eyes standing out from the others. His almost light grey like skin illuminated in the laboratory lights. The vampire's lips were parted, revealing a pair of two sharp white fangs.
Namjoon didn't hesitate to reply. "We want to leave the human world. We want to join yours." He said immediately, his eyes glued on the Angel. Seokjin chuckled lightly, caressing his own wing gently.
The vampire scoffed. "Always the same with humans. They think they find something to summon us just to become one of the so-called mythical creatures of fairy tales and fantasies and to become a legend. I won't fall for that." He spat, a threatening hiss escaping his lips.
It was beautiful. His looks, his voice. I couldn't take my eyes off him, and it was clear that both of us had a vision on the creatures.
"N-no. We have spent years trying to find the right formulas to your dimensions! We don't want to become any legend or mythical known!" I corrected him. "We are tired of what the human world is. We want to simply... disappear from it. But dying is not worth it." Namjoon said.
Seokjin gasped in sympathy. "Oh, you poor being." He tried to step off the altar but immediately stumbled back when electricity shocks hit him. Taehyung growled and laughed amused. "You keep forgetting. You moron."
Seokjin frowned. "Excuse you." Taehyung growled and sighed. "Hey. You two." He spat. We both snapped our heads to the demon. Taehyung fake gagged. "You two look disgusting. Anyway, make this quick and just walk towards one of us so we can leave. I have an impatient boyfriend waiting in the bedroom." He growled.
Namjoon and Seokjin both turned away from disgust. "Now that is inappropriate to say to these young gentlemen!" Seokjin yelled. "Agreed." Namjoon gagged. Taehyung sighed. "Ey, Yoongi. Help a Demon out!" He yelled.
The vampire sighed and hissed annoyed. "Look Taehyung. I hate this as much as you, but I wait for them to make a decision instead of fooling around to stretch time. If you two would not be fighting each other like woman right now than this would you been with your boyfriend already, and you could have one right back to the art gallery Seokjin!" Yoongi hissed.
Namjoon widened his eyes. "You have an art gallery?" He asked the Angel. Seokjin chuckled lightly. "No, I do not own it. I place my art in it." He chuckled. "So you're an artist?" Namjoon asked again. Seokjin nodded. "I am."
I chuckled. Namjoon had seemed to find his soulmate. I heard Yoongi burst into laughter. My heart raised, it was beautiful. He was beautiful.
Yoongi looked at me with confusion before chuckling. "We have no soulmates around here. Only in Hell you do. That's probably how little Tae got his boyfriend in the sheets. No one else wants him for sure." He laughed.
Taehyung growled threateningly. "In the vampire realm, all you search for is the blood of your own kind. It isn't quite the pretty picture. Is it, Jin?" He spat. Seokjin frowned. "Only close friends call me by that name."
Soon, all of the three creatures we're back fighting each other. I frowned and grabbed one of the many little failed projects, slamming it on to the ground. The attention got dragged to me, to the mixed colored liquid on the ground, and the broken glass.
"Y'all listen! I want to leave earth, right now! I'm choosing, so I won't have to listen to your stupid fights any longer!" I yelled. My eyes fell to the vampire, who looked at me in surprise and satisfaction.
I walked towards him without hesitation, feeling the vampire aura the moment that I stepped inside of the barrier, with no way out. I had chosen him. No way back.
Namjoon smiled, making eye contact with the Angel, who returned him a gentle smile. Namjoon passed the barrier, almost closing the space between him and Seokjin.
Taehyung growled. "Can we leave now?!" "Yes, Tae, we can." Yoongi sighed and grabbed my arm tightly. I watched as Taehyung rolled his eyes and stepped back in the portal to Hell, which immediately closed and shattered, leaving no trail of a portal ever being there.
Seokjin gently took Namjoon's hand, leading him through the portal. Just like the Gate of Hell, the portal to Heaven, shattered. Yoongi sighed. "Listen up. What you're about to feel is not painful, but it will be if you resist. I need you to stay calm and act like a vampire for once instead of a Demon. Okay?" He asked.
I nodded. "Good." "Did I act like a Demon?" I asked with confusion. "No. I was kidding. That was a total Vampire move. You impressed me." Yoongi said hesitantly, pulling me through the portal.
I took a deep breath. I wanted this. I wanted nothing else. I soft tingling spread over my body, my eyes, and my mouth. I could feel fangs with my tongue, and my skin had significantly changed. I was like Yoongi now.
Yoongi hissed lowly. "Back home." He let go of my hand and sighed of relief. "How are you feeling?" He asked lowly opening a cabinet of wine glasses. "I'm feeling alright. Slightly unusual, but alright." I replied. Yoongi grabbed two of the glasses and nudged his head, telling me to come with him.
I followed him, slightly nervous of what was to come next. Yoongi looked at me from the corner of his eyes. "Was the other boy your friend?" He asked, trying to get rid of the tension.
I nodded. "He was. A wise scientist too. He was the one who told me about the portals." I replied. Yoongi gave me a simple nod, gesturing me sit. "I'll be right back. Feel free to look around the living room for a bit."
Yoongi left towards the kitchen through an open doorway. The place was dark, yet it had a personal touch to it. There were small frames with pictures taken from high mountains with a beautiful sunset, and waterfalls that would steam off into the sky, some even were plain pictures of forests with animals that roamed. But it all looked so beautiful.
Yoongi shortly returned with the two wine glasses, half-filled neatly with a thick red substance. The scent was strong, and it already gave me the one clue I needed to find out what it was.
He set the glasses down on the coffee table in front of us, stretching his arms behind his head. "Why did you want to be a vampire? You could've gone after your friend. Have a normal life with wings." He asked, a low hiss of disgust leaving his lips.
"I... I mean look at the others. Taehyung was right when he said that I wasn't a pure soul. I won't deny it. My experiments have cost many lives, sometimes even a part of my sanity. A Demon frightened me. And his attitude was not speaking to me one bit. An Angel was too risky. I didn't want them to find out all of the terrible things I've done." I said softly.
I hesitantly took the glass in my hand, swirling my finger on the edge of the glass. "So you picked me because you had no other choice?" He asked confused. "Sort of. Technically that is the right answer, but physically and emotionally, that answer is incorrect." I replied.
Yoongi hissed lowly. "Stop speaking scientists. I don't know it." He said annoyed. "I'm sorry..." "Explain." Yoongi said, picking up his own glass. "I knew that this was my only safe option, but my emotions told me this was the right one too, but not because of the same reasons." I explained.
Yoongi raised an eyebrow at me, sipping his drink lightly. "And those reasons are?" I took a deep breath. "My heart went faster when I saw you. When I heard your voice, when you laughed. I loved it all. My heart followed you." I said softly.
Yoongi scoffed. "Were you drunk?" He asked laughing. "See? This is what I mean. Your laugh. It makes me feel so warm." I said softly. Yoongi his smile faded into a cold frown. "Don't get used to that feeling." He sighed. "I'm only here to bring you into the Vampire realm, to guide you through the basics, and to leave you out on the streets like a New Blood vampire."
My breath was shaky as I sighed. "Very well. Then I won't." I said softly. Yoongi gave me a small nod before gulped the rest of the glass down. Probably in stress.
"Drink that. It'll get you started. Tiny sips, when you think you can handle more, do it." He said lowly, back the cold Yoongi that I had heard the first time.
I hesitantly picked up the glass. "Tiny sips..." I took a deep breath before gently sipping on the liquid. To my surprise, it tasted... delightful! Absolutely delicious and tasty.
I slowly got to drinking bigger sips, to normal gulps in seconds, quickly finishing the glass. Yoongi looked at me with surprise when I set the empty glass down.
"Have you drunken blood before?" He asked impressed. I simply nodded. "My own, and a few of my old friends'. No more." I replied emotionlessly. "Why?" Yoongi asked, frowning. "They deserved it. They stole my project, claiming it as theirs." I spat.
I balded my hands to fists, feeling a boiling rage at the memory of them. Yoongi grabbed my shoulder. "Calm down. You're an immortal being of Satan now, nothing can get past you as long as you're able to keep in control. Then no one will die." He said with a chuckle.
I hissed lowly. "But they have to die! It's their fault!" I hissed loudly, my chest heaving up and down from the outburst. Yoongi sighed. "Alright. Let it out." He said lowly.
"I want them to die. I want them to die over and over and over! Like a cute little Ferris wheel. Until they fall out of the peak.." I hissed. Yoongi raised his eyebrow at me. "They were so high. So close to containing their goal. And then it broke." I let a dark chuckle past my lips
"They crawled beneath my feet.. Screaming... Help Jungkook, help us! Make us a new invention Jungkook." I hissed in a mocking voice. "But I didn't. Instead, I created something that was meant for them to go. I watched them die. I laughed. I remember their blood, spread all over my room. Remember crawling in it, yelling of happiness! Drinking it.." I hissed.
Yoongi chuckled. "Crazy scientists. Always out for something new when it's right in front of them." I frowned. "I'm a man of science, not a man of facts. We summoned an Angel, a Demon, and a Vampire tonight." I said, crossing my arms.
Yoongi chuckled. "No need to be. I'm just saying that no matter what you try to get, without trying it'll never work." "And where is that supposed to lead me?" I hissed. Yoongi rolled his eyes.
"Jungkook, the Vampire Realm is dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. A young vampire like you can't take that world yet." Yoongi said lowly. "That does not answer my question." I spat back, hissing at him. He snapped his fingers. "There. That is the attitude you should have. Cold and heartless."
I frowned. "Cold and heartless-" "We are basically monsters, Jungkook." Yoongi started. "We kill for our own bloodlust and we don't care who it is, because of that bloodlust. We are despised by both humans, and Heaven and Hell. And if you thought Hell was bad then you should rethink your decision." He said lowly.
I shook my head. "No. I can't and I won't. If you'd do me a favor, teach and guide me through this new life. The new form that I'm about to take." I said softly. Yoongi stared at me for a bit. "Very well." He grabbed both the glasses and refilled them this time to the edge of the glass.
"Drink, and with no problems. Drink it as if it's normal." He ordered. I nodded, taking the glass from him. He watched my every move closely, not taking his eyes off me. I set the glass to my lips and drank. I mean, it was just blood. It tasted fine to me.
Yoongi nodded slightly in approval. "Good. Open your mouth." He ordered, crossing his legs to sit face to face. I set the glass down carefully, opening my mouth to him.
Yoongi grabbed my chin gently and brushed his thumb against the edge of my fangs. He caressed my bottom lip slightly and sighed. "They're good. Give me your wrist." He said lowly, holding his and out to me after letting go of my chin.
I let my wrist drop into his hand. Yoongi looked at me for a few seconds before feeling my pulse, he smiled softly, intertwining his hand with mine.
I looked at him with confusion. "What were you doing?" I asked. "Checking your pulse of course. Vampires have none." Yoongi replied softly. His cold voice had a more gentle tone to it. More friendly.
"Oh. Are we undead then?" I asked, tilting my head. Yoongi nodded. "We are supposed to be emotionless or at least not able to feel happiness or love towards other vampires unless they were turned." He explained.
I smiled slightly. "So you and I can date?" He nodded again. "Because you were human, feelings for you are not impossible. If it were to be you and me, then all I had to do is love you back." Yoongi said smiling.
"I don't know this feeling Jungkook. My heart beats so fast it's about to explode, my body feels so warm when I touch you... It's unexplainable." He said with a deep sigh.
I smiled. "It's called love Yoongi." I said. Yoongi raised his eyebrow at me. "So fast?" "It's possible." I replied. He groaned and rushed his hands through his hair, holding it over his forehead. "My Satan. Jungkook what are you doing to me?" He whispered.
I shrugged. "I can ask the same to you." I chuckled. Yoongi looked at me with confusion. "Do you feel it too?" He asked. I nodded. "Since I laid my eyes on you."
Yoongi took a deep breath. "What... What do humans do in this situation?" "They kiss." I replied shyly. I would feel my face heat up. The thought of him and me kissing was too good to be true.
Yoongi nodded understanding. He pushed my chin up to meet his slightly and gently placed his lips on mine. It felt so right, so meant to be. I kissed back, feeling his soft lips on mine.
He moved closer to me, his hands grabbing mine. We broke the kiss shortly, looking into each other's eyes. "That was a kiss, right? I saw it in movies and-" "It was. Don't pressure it Yoongi." I said smiling. "You did amazing too."
His eyes lit up with happiness, giving me a gummy smile. "Really?" I nodded. "I enjoyed it." Yoongi quickly embraced me in a hug. "Those... sparks that I felt, what do they mean?" He asked softly. "Where did you feel them?" I asked, quickly snuggling in his arms.
"Everywhere. My lips where they touched yours, my hands when they intertwined. My body felt so weak..." Yoongi said softly. "That is love. If you can feel weak by just one touch." I replied smiling. "Did you feel them?" He asked nervously. "Of course I did."
The End
I'm sorry if the end was confusing, but I've been struggling with a few things, please do not kill me.
