🌹Reflections🌹
In another dimension maybe, a library had been build. It was bigger than normal libraries. They had books in all kinds of languages and genres.
The owner of this library was Kim Seokjin.
The place was supposed to be accessible for immortals. That was until there was a slight twist.
K.TH 🍂
I frowned as I read through another book. Misplaced in a school and now forced to study as well. I can't even execute spells! What's the point of wizardry...?
I sighed. "Something wrong?" Namjoon asked. The man had an IQ of 148, no wonder he had straight A's across the board. Just like he claims himself to be: the smartest warlock in school.
I find it odd. I've been here for half a year. I'm human. Like, I've read Harry Potter but this is a whole new level of strange.
"Yeah. How am I exactly going to set fire to something with a spell that I can't cast!?" I yelled. Namjoon shook his head. "You know that you can still study."
I scoffed. "I'm not a wizard or a warlock Namjoon." "And I'm not saying you have to be." Namjoon replied. "I'm better at sleeping." "Like a vampire." Namjoon winked, nudging my arm.
I rolled my eyes. "If I had fangs I'd almost believe you." Namjoon grinned. "I can fix that." "Don't you dare." I snarled.
I left the class after the weird bell rung and split ways with Namjoon. He followed a specific schedule meant for his kind. Then there is me.
Human.
I have no way back home and no other way to go unless I pass the exams. I met up with a friend of mine...
"Taehyung..." "Jungkook." I nodded at him. "How are you?" He asked softly. "Fine. You?" I replied. "Had no souls. I'm hungry as hell." He growled. "You're not getting mine." I chuckled.
Jungkook whined slightly. "Really? I'll make your next test." He offered, nudging my arm. I shook my head. "You won't need to because I'll die." Jungkook sighed. "So you do pay attention..." "Of course."

The vampire tilted his head at the human through the mirrors. Any reflections... It's been a while since he had fed on human blood. A dark grin spread across his lips.
"Hoseok?" The vampire turned around. "Seokjin hyung, what's up?" "Are you spying again?" Seokjin asked annoyed. Hoseok rubbed the back of his neck with a shy smile. "Sorry..."
"We need to clean this place up too. If you are just going to stare than why are you here?" Seokjin chuckled, looking into the portal with the younger vampire.
He went silent at the sight. A mere human... with a demon? Seokjin tilted his head. "What is this?" "A human." "I see that." "There's your answer." Hoseok grinned.
Seokjin sighed deeply. "What is a human doing there?" He asked. "I don't know." Hoseok shrugged. "He suddenly got there. Been keepin' an eye on that kid ever since."
Seokjin bit his lip. "Why is he with a demon?" "Might be his friend. He's got merely a few. Isn't a talker I guess." Seokjin just nodded. "Interesting." He slapped Hoseok's back. "Now come sort these books."

I was bored for the rest of the day. It was cold. Especially in the fairies room. It's specifically designed for those stupid beautiful tiny winged creatures. Yet it felt like I was freezing.
Jimin had kept me slightly warm, even though it didn't help. It was kind of him to say the least. The fairy had been a good friend of mine ever since I arrived here. He was shy at first, and then opened up like a book.
Not like most people I've met. Namjoon was my tutor in wizardry and magic. Jungkook was a good friend. Jimin was my 'first-year-best-buddy'. And than there was this odd kid. Min Yoongi.
He was a werewolf, but definitely not a weak one. The boy would get in fights at one point and in a few seconds he was a cute childish kid.
It was as if he didn't know who was him...
Multiple Personality Disorder perhaps. Who knows? All I know is that I'm currently warming myself up in a thick blanket that Jungkook had left, a warm cup of tea from the lovely Namjoon with some spice which supposedly would calm down the cold, and a friendly time with Jimin as he told me about where he came from, showing some hand-drawn paintings.
"I didn't know you could paint." I said softly. "It's a talent I guess." He mumbled. "Jungkook taught me how to draw when I was a little fae. We split ways after he moved." Jungkook nodded. "Glad you kept learning. The best he could draw was a stick figure." He chuckled.
Jimin smiled softly. "This was my birthstone. Where my momma gave birth to me..." He said softly, pointing at an odd circled stone. It was a snowy landscape, but in the snow that covered the rock you could see small little symbols.
"K-Kim Seojid?" I mumbled. Jimin shook his head. "Kim Seokjin. I don't know, but its the one thing I remember on the many marks on the stone." He said softly. "Taehyung, I know that name somewhere..." Namjoon mumbled.
"I've seen it in one of my books. A creator of many kinds... He was also called an angel, yet for his kind..." He said lowly, thinking deeply as he tried to remember more. He frowned and waved his finger around, mumbling something Latin.
An old dusty book fell into his hand, almost pushing his arm down at how big it was. My guess might have been over the 3000 pages.
(I've read a book that big in 2 days. And it wasn't even non-stop reading.)
He began to flutter through the pages, smiling at one. "Here it is!"
"Kim Seokjin, one of the very first vampires. He is older than the dimension itself and even helped to create it. Seokjin was known for his odd deeds. Vampires at his age and time were bloodlust filled, blood craving creatures, doing anything to get what they desire.
Seokjin had no interest in this. He told them he'd rather drink from those in great suffering and pain. To do the humans a favor."
I listened with interest. This Kim Seokjin might be a good one to remember.
"Kim Seokjin has lived for over ten thousand years, and looking at his youth, it won't stop any time soon. He grew tired of the human world, and studied magic to gain power for himself. Seokjin created the immortal dimension together with his friend, who is now missing ever since 1542. Jung Hoseok, a brilliant scientist, who just like Seokjin didn't want to drink from healthy humans."
Namjoon skipped through a few pages.
"After the year of 2000, no one had seen the two ever again. Rumors go that they communicate to the immortal realm and the human realm by reflections and heartbeat. There have been rumors of a library they own, but no one has ever seen them in there."
There were a few scribbled words in there.
나는 그들을 느낄 수 있습니다. 그들은 나와 함께 있습니다. 김석진 및 정호석은 민윤기에 있습니다.
(naneun geudeul-eul neukkil su issseubnida. geudeul-eun nawa hamkke issseubnida. gimseogjin mich jeonghoseog-eun min-yungie issseubnida.)
(I can feel them. they're with me. Kim Seokjin and Jung Hoseok are within Min Yoongi...)
So... Maybe this weird dude does have something about a MPD? "Should we talk to him?" I asked. "About this?" Jungkook shook his head. "He'll ask questions." "But what if we need it?" I snapped back.
Jungkook stayed silent. "I'll do it." Jimin offered. "I can defend myself against a werewolf's body. Yoongi hyung won't be able to hurt me." He spoke softly. I reached for his shoulder but he shook his head. "I need to know more than what this is. That name was on my birthstone."
Namjoon nodded understandingly. "Very well. Take Taehyung with you. He may be immune for Yoongi hyung." I nodded. "I want to." "Than let's go."
I hesitantly walked after Jimin. This Seokjin seemed like a wise man. I wonder why he hid from this world.
The closer we got to the place where Jimin said he saw Yoongi sit, the louder his laughing got. It wasn't his normal voice. This was a happier kind of laugh, in a voice so unknown and unique I even had to think if I ever heard it before.
Yoongi was staring at his reflection in the waterfall, but the water didn't show his reflection...
Two men instead.
One wore a pair of round copper glasses with plump lips with a beautiful shade of pink, and a skin so pale I had to be dreaming. Friendly red eyes stared back from the reflection, and long brown hair that was tied up in a messy man bun had been fixed neatly.
He wore a kind smile, one that said trust and comfort. A very attractive blouse covered his chest, his hands behind his back and his posture straightened as the small diamonds on the pink collar wrinkled in the light.
Beside him stood a man. Pretty red hair was parted in two ways, a heart-shaped smile sending waves of happiness to the younger werewolf. His skin was just as pale as the taller man. Fangs were showed off as his red eyes were almost closed.
He wore a similar attire to the taller man. He wore a white blouse with a night-blue blazer, which was decorated with gold flowers sewed into the fabric. His hair mismatched from his clothes, but he seemed to care for nothing.
"Really. I try to control myself dad!" Yoongi smiled. "You better be behaving!" The red-haired laughed. "I'm gonna get out of her once or you'll come here!"
The brown-haired elbowed him teasingly. "Hoseok. Be nice to your son." He grinned. The red-haired, Hoseok, stuck his tongue out childishly.
"Do they still believe your last name trick?" He asked. Yoongi nodded. "No one knows. Everyone thinks I'm crazy." He smiled. "I mean, you are my son- Ow..." Hoseok rubbed his arm when the taller hit his elbow. "Seokjin! What the hell was that for?!"
Seokjin...
The vampire stared directly at me and Jimin. "Yoongi. Turn around." He ordered. His voice dropped a few octaves, making him sound more threatening.
Yoongi immediately did as told, growling at me. Jimin simply tilted his head. "So... last name trick?" He asked calmly. Seokjin's eyebrow twitched in interest, while Hoseok seemed to be tense.
"Stay away. Not a word." Yoongi snarled. "This is my family." "Than why are they trapped there?" I asked coldly. "Kim Seokjin..." I mumbled. "Namjoon has mentioned a lot about you. It seems that the book had some secrets as well." I chuckled.
Seokjin didn't say anything for a bit. Then he sighed deeply and smiled slightly. "You are the first in a few thousand years. Human." He spoke darkly. "It's been a while since I've been fed with human blood." He licked his lips.
"Really?" I sat down next to Yoongi, who growled and threatened to punch me, but Jimin held him down. "Shh." He whispered. "Let him speak..."
"What's it like in there?" I asked, tilting my head. "Isn't it lonely?" Seokjin simply nodded. "I have Hoseok." Hoseok elbowed him. "Don't tell him my name." He hissed. Seokjin sighed. "It's educative." He said lowly.
"The books make my knowledge stand out from others, and my help to the dead is always exciting."
Jimin tilted his head, petting Yoongi's hair just behind his furry wolf ears, which had popped out the moment that Jimin had started to brush his hand through Yoongi's hair.
Hoseok squealed inside at the sight. He didn't like fairies himself, but the sight he had missed.
"What do you mean help to the dead?" He asked.
"Do you know Dia de Los Muertos?" Seokjin asked. Jimin and I nodded. "The dead get a second chance here. Those who believed in the immortal and the unknown come here. They get to choose a life in your world, or become a spirit in the true afterlife."
I tilted my head. "How come you have no phones?" "Do you think I would be able to learn how to use it when I've never even heard of it until Yoongi mentioned it three years ago."
I chuckled. "Such an old man." "Watch your words. I stand higher than you will ever be." Seokjin scowled. "Really?" I tilted my head. "Than why am I here? A mere human, alone in this dimension. You'd say I'm powerful that I'm here." I grinned.
Seokjin sucked in a breath, clearly starting to get annoyed. "You brat." He growled. "My name is Taehyung. Not brat." I chuckled. "You have some nerve to talk back to me." He snarled.
A smirk crawled onto his face. "I like it." "Kim Seokjin is not as nice as in the books. Let's be honest Jin." I leaned back. "Legends get remembered. Are you afraid to be forgotten?"
Seokjin frowned. "You're an observer. Aren't you?" I simply nodded. "When you're alone we'll continue this conversation. As for you, Yoongi. Be careful where you sit when talking to your father."
Yoongi nodded, purring softly. It was true that they said that Jimin could do wonders.
I grinned, watching as Seokjin disappeared from the reflection. "Where does he want me to be Hoseok hyung?" I asked. "He likes mirrors. Maybe the bathroom." Hoseok shrugged. "Now shoo! Let me talk to my boy!"
I chuckled, waving them goodbye. Jimin whined. "His ears are so soft!" "Like you are going on him." I chuckled. "You like that wolf." "No I don't!" He yelled, his face flushing a bright red.
I chuckled. "I have an appointment with a certain vampire. Can you be a dear and tell the others to get the hell out of my dorm?" Jimin nodded.
I made my way to the bathroom, ignoring the calls from Namjoon and Jungkook while Jimin shoved them away rudely.
I grabbed a pillow, laying it on the edge of the tub and sitting down. As soon as I sat down, my reflection changed into Seokjin's, a dark frown on his face.
"You're so brash." He hissed. "If I could reach out and drag you in here I would." I chuckled. "Do you want my blood that much? Or do you just like me?" Seokjin scoffed. "Think again. You were right."
He hissed lowly. "I killed the three vampires before me. I am the only true vampire!" He hissed. "I believe that." I said lowly. Seokjin's frown faded to a surprised and confused glance. "Excuse me?"
"Vampires should crave what they want. I bet you killed them for blood. To stay strong." I chuckled. "That's why you are attracted to me. Isn't it? My blood drives you into bloodlust."
Seokjin took a deep breath. "Last time I saw a human I didn't think they'd evolve to grow so smart." "Some aren't." I shrugged. "I'm just interested in learning things that I'm interested in. Vampires just so happened to become one."
Seokjin tilted his head. "I can become your tutor." "Would a vampire that wants to kill me do that? I'm sure you just want my blood." I chuckled. Seokjin smirked. "Your blood for tutoring lessons."
"Deal."
"How am I getting it to you?" I asked. Seokjin's smirk grew. "I never said humans couldn't go through my reflection. Join me in the library." He hissed lowly. I hesitantly reached out to the reflection.
The moment that my hand faded through the mirror, Seokjin grabbed it roughly and pulled me through. Really for an old man he was really strong.
I groaned when I fell flat face on the old wooden floor. I growled, looking up at him.
His skin wad almost glowing in the library light, his arms crossed. "You innocent-looking monster..." I mumbled, standing up. Seokjin smirked, leaned his mouth to my ear. "I am a monster.."
He bit into my earlobe, I could feel his sharp fang piercing through my skin, blood dripping down. I smirked. "So you lied?" "Of course I did." He growled. "Vampires are supposed to deceive and lie. We're the devils of hell." He snarled. "And you dare to talk back to me?"
I grinned. "Of course I do." "And why are you so stupid? The last one who did that died.." He growled. "Because you won't kill me. A human, bitten by a vampire in this dimension, no matter if they die, will wake up. As one of them."
Seokjin tilted his head. "You're smarter than I thought. I underestimated you, human." "Call me Taehyung." I chuckled. Seokjin growled lowly. "You're reckless. It amuses me."
I grinned. "I'm a freak. I like being bad. Though some see me as the boy who doesn't talk much, I can be a real troublemaker." I purred.
My eyes fell on the millions of books. "You like reading?" Seokjin nodded. "I find it delightful." He turned around, his back to me as he pulled a book from its place.
The red cover felt like fabric, rough underneath the touch of his fingertips. The words of the title were sewed in with a thick and yet thin threat, in fashionable elegant golden letters.
It was a big book, certain of a few thousand pages as Seokjin buried his mind within it. He read through the pages.
"It has been my soul from my birth. I've always loved to lose my mind in these simple words pressed onto the pages. You can imagine anything. It's all your own world." He mumbled, flipping the page as if the book weighed nothing in his one hand.
I tilted my head. "You are not one to live in reality." Seokjin shook his head. "Not at all." He mumbled. "If I could have chosen my life I'd be a human. I would be studying in acting and singing. I'd stand on a stage, singing my own written songs and telling my story to the world. I don't want to be in this position."
"Than why do you find vampires to become evil?" I asked. "Because I want others to see me. I became famous after I disappeared. Like most famous singers or actors. I want to be alive again. Not trapped inside of these walls-"
He looked up, as did I. There was a gentle voice that called out.
"Hello?"
Seokjin closed the book with a loud thud, a soft layer of dust jumping from it as he placed it back. "Follow me." He said lowly, walking towards the voice.
I widened my eyes. There was a literal skeleton in the room. This was way too much like Coco... without the face paint and clothes.
"Ah, ma'am." Seokjin smiled kindly. "Welcome." The skeleton let a soft smile past her lips. She was a woman, very small and thin. Her bones were a soft white, healthy. She must have been young.
"Please, tell me how you died and if you'd like a second chance." Seokjin said. The skeleton tilted her head. "Why is my story so important?" "To see where I need to send you." Seokjin replied.
The skeleton nodded. "My family was rich. Many men had wanted me for marriage-" "I just want to know how you died. Not your life story." Seokjin growled. The skeleton seemed slightly offended. "How dare you? Do you know who I am?!"
"Lee Geongchan. Daughter of Lee Jinhyun and Park Sooho." Seokjin replied dryly. "I'm not interested in woman, ma'am. I'm proud to say that women like you are the reason some of us men are homosexual."
The skeleton, Geongchan, seemed shocked. She scoffed. "How pathetic." "Indeed. Now if you tell me how you died I can let you fill the paperwork and you can move on."
Geongchan scoffed again. "I was killed and abused. I'd like a second chance as a Fae of the North." She said arrogantly. Seokjin nodded, pulling a few files from the desk. "Fill these in, honestly, else it won't work. Then return the way you came."
He left the woman there. Turning around and taking my hand and walking away. "Not many people die during the holidays." He growled. "Life's tough with woman." I chuckled.
Seokjin nodded. "Life with men is easier. Sexual encounters, talking about problems, physical contact. Women see everything as sexual harassment." He scowled.
(Not true I know. It's how book-Jinnie thinks about it)
I chuckled. "Rude." "No. I'm honest." Seokjin growled. "Does life get lonely with Hoseok hyung?" Seokjin stayed silent for a bit. "Hoseok is a nice man. He is just very overprotective of his son. After the trouble with his ex-wife, he turned the tides around. He sometimes takes control of his body to see what is happening without using reflections."
I nodded. "A trauma perhaps. Let him cope with it. People find the best of themselves after a good train of thoughts." I said lowly. Seokjin nodded. "Exactly."
There were a few minutes of silence between us, the both of us picking out multiple books and placing them back. Some were old and barely used or read, dust coming off the hard covers.
One specific book...
A black leather cover, a small clip to keep the thick paged together. They all seemed to be written on in an old Chinese with a brush, causing the pages to be slightly folded and bend. There were old black and grey photos, multiple stains of blood and sometimes even alcohol.
I opened it further, reading through the ancient letters. I never learned it, but the symbols were familiar to me.
Seokjin snatched it out of my hands, placing it on the desk and closing it off. "Don't." He hissed lowly.
There were a lot of desks around this old library. "How do you find everything in this place?" I asked. "Literature is on one side, horror on the other. Then the multiple rows of books in the drawers behind them are the different languages, such as English, Spanish, old Latin, or even African and Jeju dialect." Seokjin said coldly.
"This old thing was my own notebook. I started writing it when I had just turned. It's a life story of more than ten thousand years without love, affection or respect." He growled. "I had killed my wife because of my thirst. I killed my son." He chuckled. "I loved the way they screamed and how they feared me."
I tilted my head. "Are you someone who enjoys torture?" Seokjin nodded. "Very, very much.." He grinned. "How would you torture me?" I asked, crossing my arms.
"You?" Seokjin chuckled. "I'd tie you up with chains so tight that they'd scrape across your skin. I'd lick your blood and make you watch as I'd sink my fangs into your skin and drag them all over you, drawing beautiful blood from your veins. I'd hit you in every way possible and I'd even force you to eat your own skin.."
I smirked slightly. "Did I tell you I'm a masochist?" Seokjin tilted his head at me. "Really?" He purred. "That makes this encounter more interesting.." "It sure does." I chuckled.
He slowly got closer to me, biting his bottom lip with his fang. "Who are you really, Kim Taehyung...?" "A mere human who fits your desires." I chuckled. "Someone who enjoys the pain someone gives me, someone who wants to be seen enjoying the pain, a fighter for what can and will be bad."
Seokjin inhaled sharply, pushing me against the wall with such brute force it almost broke my bones. A soft groan erupted from my throat, looking up at the vampire who had pinned his hands to my wrists.
"You say that I'm a monster.. Maybe you are too.." He hissed lowly. "I'll gladly be one." I smirked. "Stop tempting me." He snarled. "Stop being so perfect!" I chuckled. "Does our Seokjin have a little crush?"
He shook his head. "Not a little.. You attract me that it's not normal. Not even for me. I want to hurt you so bad until you start begging me for more, until you scream my name when I bite into your skin and mark you mine.."
I bit my lip. "You say I tempt you. But you tempt me. I want you to break me until I'm crying of absolute pain, make me feel the sting.." Seokjin groaned softly, digging his nails into my skin.
I let out a soft gasp. His eyes were a deep red, filled with dominance and a gentle kind of lust. "You're testing me, Taehyung." He snarled. He smirked, leaning to my ear and licking the dripping blood away. "I like that.."
He bit in my ear a second time, this time in the shell. He was harsh and merciless, digging his entire fang through my skin. His nails dragged from my wrists over my arms to my chest.
I could feel blood softly trickle down my body, and looking at Seokjin's eyes, he could smell it too.
He licked his lips, growling lowly. "You don't know how bad I just want to infect you." "Than why are you holding back?" I chuckled. Seokjin hissed lowly, pulling my hair roughly to tilt my head and sunk his fangs roughly into my skin.
I groaned lowly, biting my bottom lip. A dying kind of warmth spread over my body, my skin almost clenching around my muscles. My eyes almost rolled to the back of my head, stinging violently.
Fangs slowly grew from my teeth, feeling every stretch and ever shape. I licked my lips, staring Seokjin straight into his eyes.
"Did I satisfy your thirst?" I growled. Seokjin stared blankly for a few seconds before nodding. "Very much so." The scent of old dust filled my nostrils. My guess was that the books that we were standing in were unused or had stayed in place for a long time.
I guess my senses have improved.
I licked my lips. "I'm thirsty." I whined. Seokjin chuckled. "Aw, how sad. We have no human blood here." He snarled. I lifted my shirt, some blood still dripped down. I fetched it with my finger, licking it up.
The taste was sweet. Like sugar, but so much better. I hissed lowly as Seokjin licked the other drops away. "Perv." I chuckled. Seokjin looked up at me, smirking. "You pulled your shirt up." "But you're licking my chest." I protested. "Would rather have me bite your nipples?" He snarled. "No thanks."
He chuckled, pulling away. "You can feed from me. Vampire blood just tastes different, but has no other effect than stilling thirst." I grinned, tilting his head. "So I can drink from you?"
Seokjin nodded, widening his eyes when I sunk my fangs into his neck, groaning when he sunk his nails into my waist.
"Seokjin hyung?" Seokjin looked up, frowning at the red-haired vampire. "What? Can't you see I'm busy?" He snarled. Hoseok rolled his eyes. "Jimin's obsessed with my pup."
He froze when he saw us, eyeing us up and down, left and right. "What happened?" "I bit him." Seokjin growled. "Now he's drinking from me." "Well... Try not to slack. Tae, welcome to the family, but you gotta go back." Hoseok hissed lowly.
"Why?" I looked up at him. "I want you to keep an eye on my pup." Hoseok snarled. "I don't like that fairy. He keeps petting and distracting him. I thought Yoongi would bite him and growl, but he lets the fool.." He hissed lowly. "I need you to bring Yoongi back to himself. I want my son to kill that fairy.."
I rolled my eyes. "Really?" "Yes. Really." Hoseok growled. "I'm a single father of a pup. I thought he'd be a vampire but apparently, he took after his mom. He is all I have and I'm not planning on weakening him to a stupid fairy." "Calm down dude." I snarled. "I'm on it."
To be continued...
