🌸 A little discovery 🌸
Namjoon POV
I sighed deeply as I reread the lyrics again. It was tough trying to make lyrics for every song. As a rapper, you can't leave the vocalists out.
"So like... Jimin and Taehyung do this, and you and me collab with this?" I asked Jin. I looked to my side. He looked over my shoulder at the lyrics, tapping my desk with a pen.
"Maybe move Jimin's vocals to Jungkook's. Since it's a lower song I think they'll give a better vibe." Jin said pointing out the mistake. I nodded. "Sounds logical." I said with a sigh.
"Are you tired? You've been sighing a lot." Jin asked concerned. I nodded. "Yeah. I've been worrying about a lot of things. Jimin's health is going down and Taehyung's dog is sick. Yoongi is sick and I haven't been able to get any sleep." I whined.
Jin tilted his head. "Why's that?" "I keep having a feeling as if someone or something is watching me. But that can't possibly be true. I share a room with you and I know you sleep like a rock." I said looking at him. Jin looked away slightly.
"You didn't see anything, did you?" I shook my head. "No. It was way too dark. What should I have seen then?" Jin quickly shook his head. "Nothing. Never mind."
I frowned. "Jin." He shook his head again and stood up. "I have to go to the bathroom. Let's... forget this subject." He said softly and ran towards the bathroom, locking it.
I narrowed my eyes. He's been acting weird. He's barely showered, neither has he eaten. He keeps wearing high sweaters and turtlenecks too. I shook my head and chuckled. I don't know what's going on with him, but that is also none of my business. It's his life, and my job as a leader to worry about their well being. Jin is a responsible man, he tells me when something is wrong.

I looked into the mirror, my eyes wide as I grabbed my hair tightly. "No, no, no! Why now?! Why here?!" I whisper-yelled trying to look for a way out.
It's been five minutes and all I've been doing was staring at my own reflection. Even a troll could see I was a miserable creature.
I sighed. No windows, no second doors, only one way out. I took a deep breath. "It's okay Jin. Hold your breath, don't talk, don't let Namjoon notice. Breathe." I took a few deep breaths and looked in the mirror again.
I gulped and shut my eyes tightly, controlling the temptation to jump through the wall. I quickly unlocked the door, ignored Namjoon his calls and ran outside. This life was a nightmare...

When Jin finally came out of the bathroom, I smiled. "Jin, I have some questions- Where are you going?" I asked seeing him run out of my room, holding his sweater over his mouth and nose. "Jin?"
I leaned in the doorway watching Jin run outside. He took a turn left. I immediately went to my window and saw Jin running. He let his sweater drop and breathed heavily. His chest was heaving up and down and it was clearly showing.
He suddenly took off, running into the park with an inhuman speed which was invisible to the naked eye. I widened my eyes. What in my destruction's name did I just witness?
Hours passed, and Jin had still not returned. I had been worrying for the past two hours, waiting for him to come back to the dorms. It was night for goodness' sake! I looked up with happiness once my door opened. But that was long gone and replaced by worry when I saw Jin walk into the room, blood dripping down from the corners of his mouth to his chin.
I widened my eyes and ran towards him. "What happened?! I've been worried sick! What's with your mouth? Are you hurt? Are you-" Jin held his hand in front of my mouth and shook his head. "Shh. Be quiet, Namjoon. The others might wake up." He whispered lowly.
The corners of his lips formed a mischievous smirk. "I'm fine, Namjoon. Really. But... you seem to feel a strong emotion of fear.." He said lowly. Jin slowly took his hand away from my mouth. He observed my every move, my every expression, everything. Jin slowly walked a circle around me and stopped behind me once he had.
He chuckled lowly. "It was you who wanted to be roommates, wasn't it?" He asked lowly. I nodded. "Words when I speak to you." Jin said sternly and grabbed my throat tightly. I gasped. "Y-Yes! Jin what has gotten into you?! You're never like this." I asked starting to panic. Something was wrong with him, and I want to know what.
Jin let a dark chuckle escape his lips. "I've always been like this. You just... never saw it. No, wait, that's not true.." He smirked and leaned into my neck. "You have, at night. Whenever you couldn't sleep.."
I widened my eyes feeling something sharp and pointy trace my skin. "J-Jin, what is that?" I asked gulping nervously. "Do you want to know?" Jin asked with a chuckle. "Of course I do! I'm the leader of the band and your friend! Out of all the people you are the one I'm most concerned about!" I yelled pushing him away.
I turned around to him, but regret instantly replaced the sudden anger. I widened my eyes and parted my lips of both fear and disbelieve. Jin let an inhuman sounding hiss leave his mouth and gritted his teeth angrily, his fangs clearly visible. His dark pink mixed with red eyes stared into my brown ones.
"You... pushed me?" Jin laughed lowly. "You made a mistake Namjoon. A very, very big mistake." I slowly backed away from Jin, feeling the doorknob behind my back. I tried to reach for it, but before I could Jin was already in front of me, holding my arms away from it.
Jin hissed again and pulled me away from the door, locking it and pushed me against the windows. I groaned as I felt the hard material of the wall hit my back. Jin pinned me again. His breathing was heavy. "... You aren't human." I said quietly. I didn't dare to anger him more than I already had.
Jin shook his head slowly. He looked up at me and stared at my neck. "You'll be a great vampire Namjoon... You'll be a good predator.." He chuckled and brushed his fangs against my neck. I could feel him sniff and hiss against my skin. "Why are you doing this Jin?" I asked terrified.
He chuckled. "Because of the night. Tilt your head. Don't make me hurt it more than it has to." He hissed looking up at me from the corner of his eyes. I gulped and tilted my head slightly. "Does it hurt?" "Yes." Jin said smirking and forcefully tilted my head further.
I gasped and groaned out in pain, but it only became worse when Jin sunk his fangs into my skin. I tensed up, only making the pain worse. I screamed in pain. Jin quickly silenced them with his hand, covering my mouth.
It felt like knives were digging their way into my skin, cutting my whole body in little pieces. I could feel my blood leaving my body and a strange fluid replacing it. I felt my legs get weaker and slowly the rest of my body did too. I was giving it all my might to keep my eyes open. But with no success, I closed my eyes and passed out.
I groaned. I slowly felt strength flow into my body together with something sweet through my mouth. Instinctively, I grabbed whatever it was and began to taste more of it. I sat up, managing to open my eyes. I widened them the moment I saw Jin sitting on the edge of my bed, his wrist bleeding heavily in front of me.
"D-Did I-" Jin nodded. "I'm sorry." I gulped. "How long have I been gone?" I asked. My eyes didn't leave the vampire once. "A bit over 3 hours." He replied. "What did you do?" I asked softly. Jin looked away from me and rubbed his wounded wrist, which immediately began to heal up.
"I drank from you. You passed out and I was thirsty. I couldn't hold it any longer. The closer I got to you, the more tempting your blood became. This was the last time I drank your blood though..." Jin said hesitantly. I frowned. "What do you mean?"
Jin looked at me and handed me his phone. "Look for yourself." I narrowed my eyes and switched to selfy mode on the camera. I widened my eyes when I saw my reflection.
My eyes were a dark red with an autumn yellow gradient, my skin was paler than Yoongi's and almost as pale as Jin's. I opened my mouth slightly only to be met with the terrifying sight of sharp long fangs. I quickly handed Jin his phone back carefully. "Y-You... turned me?"
Jin nodded slowly. "I'm sorry." He said, quietly looking down. I sat up again, this time a bit more up with the energy I regained. The moment that I came in touch with the moonlight, a rush of animalistic thirst washed over me.
My breathing hitched as I felt my throat. It was dryer than a desert, only my saliva kept it hydrated. I looked at Jin with worry, who looked back at me with his normal expression. "Jin?" I whimpered. He nodded. "Come on. I'll take you outside." He said lowly and stood up.
He opened the window and jumped down from it. "Jin wait-!" I looked down the window only to see he had landed on his feet, with no damage or injuries. He nudged his head and gestured me to come down. I gulped and looked outside first, observing my surroundings.
I widened my eyes slightly when a scent struck my nose like a bomb. I sniffed, only feeling more tempted to take it. Without hesitation, I jumped down and quickly followed the scent. Jin grabbed my arm roughly and pulled me back.
"Resist. It's not worth what you're about to drink tonight." He said smirking. I pulled my arm out of his grip. "What am I going to drink then? Bunny's blood?" I asked hissing. Jin chuckled. "Funny how you mentioned bunny."
I frowned. "What do you want to say Jin?" I asked lowly. Jin's smirk only grew wider at that question. "Do you know where Jungkook goes at night?" I shook my head. "Of course I don't. Why would he... Why would he go away at night?" I growled. "Let me show you. Follow me." Jin said with a chuckle at my confusion.
He was just trying to kill me. I could smell everything and it was as tempting as the most delicious treat in the world, but Jin did not allow me to go after them.
The moonlight had... changed me. My attitude, I mean. I felt more frustrated, I felt mischievous, I felt more like a troublemaker than anything. I just wanted to disobey Jin, I wanted to go after what I wanted. It made me the opposite of what the human me was. That caring, nice and worried Namjoon was gone. Literally thrown out of the window as soon as I came outside.
Jin stopped at the hospital, a few open windows here and there. "Follow my lead, and you'll survive." Jin said lowly. He began running from a high speed and grabbed onto some of the bricks, climbing his way up without even having a hold of the wall. Almost as a snake or a gecko.
I frowned when he climbed through one of the windows and stood there as if it was nothing. "You expect me to do that?" I yelled annoyed. Jin nodded. "Don't worry. Your instinct will wall up." He chuckled, laughing at his own joke. I growled and stepped back a bit. I took a few deep breaths.
When I get up there he is going to get it... I ran towards the wall and grabbed onto a few of the loose coming bricks. I set off from one of them, feeling the climbing go easier and easier with every step I took up. That was when I realized I was barely holding anything.
I hissed and jumped through the window, pushing Jin down to the floor. "Couldn't you have explained this earlier?" I snarled coldly. "You sound like Yoongi." Jin chuckled and got up. "Calm down. We're here." I growled lowly. The scent of blood was stronger here, and definitely more tempting.
"This is where Jungkook goes to every night, and why? This is why." Jin smirked and walked into the room next to it. I followed him curiously, but also out of thirst. I frowned and let a low his escape through my gritted teeth seeing the one thing Jungkook should have told me.
Jungkook looked up from his work and smiled. "Hey Jin hyung, why did you bring Namjoon hyung here?" He asked happily. "I turned him, by accident, but I did." I looked down at his work. Bags that were used for blood donations were everywhere. Most of them were filled and sealed closed.
"What are you doing exactly? And why didn't you tell me this earlier?" I asked lowly. Jungkook gulped and looked down at the bag which he was about to close. "I'm a blood donor." "I can see that." I hissed. "What kind?" Jin held his arm in front of my chest so I wouldn't attack him. And he did it at the right moment because I would have jumped on top of him and ripped him to shreds.
"I'm a blood donor. That's it. Just for vampires. Mostly just the people I know like Jin hyung and now you." Jungkook said, shyly rubbing his arm. "Jungkook has blood which regenerates faster." Jin explained sitting down on the doctor's chair. "No matter how much blood he loses, he regains it faster than he loses it. That is also why it's tempting for other vampires. Jungkook had Bangtan at day, and donations at night."
I hissed. "Why didn't you tell me this before?" "Would you believe me if I said that I was a vampire-blood-donor? Don't think so." Jungkook replied crossing his arms. "I would have believed that you were a blood donor, and then you also didn't have to lie about it." I yelled grabbing his throat tightly. "Namjoon-" "No."
Jin frowned and stood up. "Excuse me?" "I said no!" I hissed. "I always thought it was my fault that you always came home in the middle of the night with bags under your eyes the next morning! If I had known this I would not have the temptation to kill you right now.." I said lowly.
Jungkook pulled himself out of my grip and offered his wrist. "Just drink hyung." He said lowly, a cold expression on his face. I sniffed and hissed. It was tempting as Jin said. I grabbed his wrist and sunk my fangs into him with no hesitation.
I widened my eyes being able to feel his blood flowing into my mouth. Every drop, every sip, it was so good. Jungkook scrunched up his face every now and then. He looked at Jin in worry, but he only shook his head. When I finally managed to stop myself, I pulled my fangs from his skin, licking the blood away that had dripped down to my chin.
Jin looked at me and smirked. "How was it?" "Do you really want to ask me that?" I hissed and pushed Jungkook away slightly. "Yes, and I just did. Reply to me or I'll drink your blood again." Jin hissed lowly. "Fine. It was good. Tempting, yet sweet and sugary." I sighed, crossing my arms.
Jin tilted his head and chuckled. "Namjoon, welcome to my life." "The vampire life?" I asked lowly. Jin nodded slowly. I scoffed and chuckled shaking my head. "I'm just glad to be able to join you in that life than, hyung." Jin smirked and thanked Jungkook, pulling me away and back to the dorms.
Years had passed ever since that day. Eventually, when Jin and I didn't age, everyone else got suspicious. We had to tell them. They respected our decision of not turning them, well. Mostly all of them. Jimin and Taehyung were the whiny kind.
I had trouble controlling myself around them. Until then, Jungkook kept offering himself. In 2 years, I had learned to control myself, and Jin never left my side, and neither did the others.
Sadly, they passed away. From the year of 2083, when it all ended, to the year of 2579. Jin and I still live together, and the vampire donations still exist. But Jin and I prefer to hunt our own prey. And sometimes that means each other, if you know what I mean.
"Hyung?" I yelled loudly. I looked all around the house but he wasn't here. I sniffed and followed the scent of Jin, which I have been learning over the years. I sighed deeply seeing Jin struggle again with the financial papers. "Hyung, lay that down. Stop worrying so much. That was my mistake 560 years ago." I said smiling and sat down next to him.
Jin sighed. "I know. It's just- when the others were here we didn't have to worry about it. Both of us have to work, we barely can afford the water anymore. We don't even need to shower!" He whined. I chuckled. "Jin. Calm down. I'm here for you, and the others too. Watching over us probably yelling at us, or at least Jimin would scream: NamJin."
Jin laughed. "True. He always used to ship us. It was just freaky. But you shipped YoonMin so. You're as creepy as him." He stuck out his tongue childishly. "Come on. We have to go." "To where?" Jin asked tilting his head. "Hunting? Aren't you the one always starving?" I asked confused.
He shook his head. "This time not, no. I'm... craving something for sure. You wouldn't like it though." He said with a sigh. "Tell me." I said smiling. Jin grabbed the nape of my neck and pulled my head towards his, connecting out lips together.
I widened my eyes for a moment, but all the shock faded as soon as it came. I closed my eyes and pressed my lips against his, melting into his touch. He slowly broke the kiss and looked at me. "You... didn't pull away." I shook my head and caressed his lips. "I honestly always wondered what your lips would feel like. Now I know." Jin frowned. "Was it a one-time thing?" I shook my head. "No. I want to feel that for as long as I live."
