🥀Beautiful secrets🥀
Small-Jungkook shyly walked into the classroom, his plushy tightly wrapped in his arms. It was a bunny. A white bunny with blushy cheeks and a smile, unlike how its owner looked.
Small-Jungkook was shyly looking at his feet, pouting and thoughts running through his head.
"This is Jeon Jungkook, be nice to him and don't use your magic!" The teacher said sternly. "Now, pick a seat Jungkook."
Small-Jungkook hesitantly looked around and decided to sit down in the furthest corner of the class. Small-Jungkook mumbled some words with his bunny plushy. He may be a six-year-old, but he was still small, and particularly smart for his age.
The door opened and in a fast rush, a boy with cute round glasses ran inside. "Sorry I'm late!" He squealed. "My alarm didn't go off!"
The teacher chuckled and crossed her arms. "Did you break it again Namjoon?" Small-Namjoon looked down shyly and nodded. "It was annoying..." "Well, go to your seat. We have a new student, he's sitting next to you."
Small-Namjoon looked at his partner table seats. There at the window sat a small boy talking to his plushy. Small-Namjoon smiled and sat down at his place. "Hello." He smiled as the boy squealed shyly, a red blush spreading over his cheeks. "H-hello..."
"My name is Namjoon, what's yours?" Small-Jungkook smiled softly at him. "Jungkook..."
The two began to talk sometimes. They had a lot of common interests, and slowly Jungkook started to open up to Namjoon. He told him things as his favorite places to hide, or his secret hobbies.
One thing however had made Namjoon gulp down a nervous secret.
"I don't really like Elves..." Jungkook told him. "They're kind of creepy..."
Namjoon had stayed quiet. Just nervously agreeing with him.
At high school Jungkook had started to mess around a lot. He was drawing and scribbling in his notebooks. Namjoon had simply smiled and told him to use it in the Art class.
So Jungkook had found another passion. They never spoke about elves again ever since the day Jungkook revealed the secret. Namjoon had nervously been keeping a diary. Asking his parents for advice.
Not only that...
Namjoon gladly watched as Jungkook's brush painted the canvas in a beautiful scenery. The sun between the clouds as it shines upon the lake between the forest trees. Somewhere Namjoon found himself quite often.
Jungkook was focussed on his canvas, his wrist and fingers painting without actually looking at the colors. Namjoon had always found himself lost inside of the paintings and drawings.
"Say... hyung?" Jungkook mumbled. "Hm?" Namjoon hummed. "What do you think? More light or more dark?" Jungkook asked, holding his brush just above the mix of auburn brown and golden white.
Namjoon tilted his head slightly. "Light. It brings more to the lake." He stated. Jungkook bit his bottom lip but nodded. "I see... Thanks hyung! You're the best!"
Namjoon smiled at him and pushed his glasses further up on his nose, sighing deeply.
He found himself observing Jungkook a lot. His heart thumped in his chest and he couldn't bring out what it was.
Jungkook however, found himself doing the same. Watching Namjoon focus on a math problem or reading a book. He loved dogs and cats and would love any other animal. Even rats.
Jungkook came home at the end of his exams, waving goodbye to Namjoon before running his hands through his hair and groaning in frustration.
"What is wrong with me?!" He yelled. He didn't notice his sister wrapping an arm around him. "What's wrong?" "Namjoon is..." Jungkook mumbled. "Did he do something?" His sister asked.
Jungkook shook his head. "He makes me go insane! Everything he does is perfect and I can't seem to get him out of my mind!" He whined. His sister giggled. "You're in love!" She laughed. "You're not able to say that! You don't know!" Jungkook protested.
"You don't know either. Just ask him!" His sister said smiling. Jungkook shook his head. "I need to know more before I suddenly go and say: I love you."
Namjoon, however, had a bigger problem. He was panicking. "Mom! What if he ends up turning away from me?!" He yelled. "Than he will tell you, sweetheart." His mother replied. "I've never felt like this before..." Namjoon mumbled.
"Namjoon, you can't hide from him forever. One day he'll grow up. He'll respect you, and you have to tell him before that time comes." His mother said. Namjoon sighed. "I'm scared..." "We all are on moments like these, but remember that you are Kim Namjoon. My son." His mother smiled, embracing Namjoon in a tight hug.
In the upcoming years, neither of them said anything about their feelings. They still hung out and went to the same college. Namjoon kept hidden. Fear overtook him every time and it scared him.
He crouched down at the edge of the river in the forest at dawn. He had been in his human form for too long, now he must regain his energy.
His skin was soft and smooth as marble, his brown hair mixed with streaks and highlights of the elements. Blue, green, white and red, mixed with each other as evenly as possible. His ears were pointy and decorated with elegant jewels, as were the rest of his clothes. There were multiple rings around his fingers, a piercing around his lip that connected with his earring.
He still wore his human clothes, a jacket over a t-shirt and blue jeans. He had taken his shoes off and let his feet sink into the water.
His crystal grey eyes shimmered with rest and peace, his head leaning against the trees. He did this daily now, and it made him feel better. More calm and sorted.
He had found something. He heard animals. They talked. Apparently, Namjoon could speak their language too. Without knowing it.
His mother and father were surprised when he suddenly started talking to their pet cat. Different kinds of purrs, meows and hisses sometimes left his lips.
And Namjoon didn't even know the language. It sounded like Estorian to him. He found himself talking to more animals. And by accident, the school dog.
He tended up when Jungkook gasped in surprise. He thought he was busted. Jungkook was going to hate him forever.
"Hyung! You can make animal sounds! Why didn't you tell me?" Namjoon let out a sigh of relief. "Yeah... I've been practicing it..." He smiled. Jungkook returned him a bright bunny smile. One that Namjoon adored. "You're so cool hyung!" Jungkook said happily.
After college things began to get interesting. For the both of them.
Jungkook began to question his whole sexuality. He went out with girls, asking them what love was for them. When they explained, Jungkook found none of them in any woman. He saw them, they're pretty, that's it.
Namjoon spend too much energy. He worked two jobs to keep up with his parents and help them out. He kept his human appearance longer than he should and had to go out more to regain his energy.
"Why not go home?" His father asked. But Namjoon shook his head and explained that nature did it best for him. That he could think and calmly breathe in all of what he bothered with.
Jungkook was still one of those things.
Eventually the two lost contact. Namjoon was so caught up in work that he forgot about visiting him. Jungkook was caught up in curiosity, that he forgot to ask Namjoon about them.
A year or two passed by, and Namjoon was reading a book about the ancient ruins of Estora, when his mother came in. "Namjoon, sweetheart?" Namjoon looked up from his book. "Yes?"
"I haven't seen you going away to that boy recently." His mother said. "Jeon... Jung... something like that. I haven't heard you talk about him either. Did something happen between you two?"
Namjoon had slammed his book closed, wincing in pain when he slammed it closed with his finger still trapped in it. "How could I forget him?!" He yelled. "Oh god... I've been too hardworking. What if he thinks I'm weird now? What if he doesn't want me anymore? What if he hates me?!"
His mother chuckled. "There he is. I'm sure He will be fine. Perhaps you can take him for a walk to catch up?" Namjoon nodded. "I'll visit him right away!" He placed a kiss on his mother's cheek. "Thanks mom! I love you!"
Namjoon grabbed his spring jacket and ran out of the house, when all sorts of thoughts boiled in his head.
What if he moved?
Will he recognize him?
Does he even remember him?
He bit his lip, about to turn away when the door opened. Namjoon gulped nervously. "Yes?"
Namjoon was breathtaken. Jungkook had grown quite a bit, and from his sight, Namjoon swore Jungkook worked out a lot. His eyes still had their innocent glimpse and his lips still formed his kind bunny smile.
"K-Kookie! Hey..." Namjoon smiled shyly. "Hyung!" Jungkook smiled widely and wrapped his arms around Namjoon's taller body. "I thought you would never come again..." Namjoon chuckled softly, petting Jungkook's soft hair and hugged him back. "I'm sorry."
Jungkook frowned slightly. "For what?" "For being so busy with work." Namjoon replied immediately. "I've never felt this guilty in my life..." "Really?" Jungkook chuckled. Namjoon's face flushed red. "I said that out loud... Didn't I?" "Loud and clear."
They hesitantly parted from each other, and Jungkook was sad that it had to end. Namjoon had only become more handsome in his eyes, and he wasn't sure if it was his face, body, smile, or all.
Jungkook shook his head slightly, snapping back to reality and stepping aside. "Come in!" Namjoon smiled once again and stepped inside.
Namjoon learned that being a fairy comes with a lot of self-control when it comes to love. He forced the need to protect the younger in the back of his head and did as he always has done near Jungkook.
Be human.
"Do you want something to drink?" Jungkook asked. "No, thank you. I'm just happy to see you again." Namjoon smiled. "Me too! It's been so long!" Jungkook said happily. "You've become a handsome young man!" Jungkook chuckled.
Namjoon blushed slightly at those words. "Y-you too..." "Thanks hyung!" Jungkook smiled. "How have you been?"
Namjoon smiled widely. He wanted to tell Jungkook all about what he had learned and all of his new abilities. But what if Jungkook still hated Elves...? He bit his lip.
"I've been alright. Some ups and downs, but I got above them. How about you?" He replied. Jungkook smiled widely. "I've been amazing! I'm leaving the house soon after I find my own home and I have a boyfriend!"
Namjoon's smile faded. Again that feeling. The worst, and most dangerous feeling to Elves. He felt it in his heart.
Heartbreak. The only true curse that could kill an Elf.
"Hyung?" Jungkook frowned when he saw Namjoon's sad face, how his breath quickened and his body tensed. "Hyung are you alright?" He asked.
Namjoon didn't reply. There was a burning pain over his body, and it wouldn't stop. He tried his best not to scream out in pain.
"Hyung? Why are you crying? Is it something I said?" Jungkook asked concerned. "Hyung, please answer me." He begged. Namjoon's bottom lip quivered as he bit it. "I-I'm happy for you Kookie..." He said softly. "Really." He faked a smile towards him. "I'm sorry. I have to go."
Jungkook frowned sadly. "So soon?" Namjoon nodded. "My mother is sick. I'm sorry, I really am... I hope I can visit again soon." He said softly. Jungkook nodded. "Yeah, I hope so too. I hope your mother gets better." "Thank you..." Namjoon mumbled, before he went out the door and ran home.
Jungkook watched with a sad frown. He didn't know what to do. He made his hyung cry. But why? What did he do?
Namjoon found it harder to breathe. His chest tightened and he felt his skin scraping over his shirt. He shut the door behind him with a loud bang, falling onto his knees.
His family was in shock when the door was closed so loudly, and when they came to look, their hearts ached. The emotion of heartbreak was everywhere in the room, and they didn't need to ask what was wrong. It would only hurt him more, and would even kill him.
"Call Seokjin." His mother said hurriedly. "We need him cured." "Mommy?" The small teen walked towards his mother. "Is Joonie okay?" He frowned at the pained feeling in the room. "What's going on?"
"Namjoon has been heartbroken Taehyung." His mother sobbed. Taehyung couldn't breathe. He fell on his knees next to his older brother, who was lifeless in his mother's arms. Tears began to fall from his eyes. "Joonie..."
In only a few minutes of time, the doorbell rung, calmly and yet in a hurry. The door opened, revealing an Elf with plump lips and broad shoulders. He seemed casual, and yet there was so much more to him.
"Seokjin! Thank you!" Their mother cried. Seokjin gave her a gentle nod. "He'll be alright." He assured her. "Lay him on his bed, I'll examine him and come back to you with a result."
Their father picked Namjoon up as gently as possible, taking him upstairs and laying him on his bed. Namjoon was weak, but not yet fully unconscious. He just couldn't move, and breathing was a pain. He wanted it all to end.
Heartbreak can kill an Elf, but most heartbreak deaths are suicides, because of the horrendous pain.
Seokjin asked their family to leave the room, leaving him alone with the heartbroken Elf.
First things first. Seokjin looked at Namjoon's clothes, carefully pulling his shirt off. Any kind of non-Estoric fabric would cut his skin and bruise it.
To his pain, there were already a few scars on Namjoon's body, but the one bleeding cut on his chest at his heart had almost made Seokjin burst in tears. Being a doctor sure was a lot of self-control.
The cut was leaking in blood, crystal blue as ice and white as snow. Seokjin was at a loss for words.
Namjoon fought.
He fought, trying to forget what happened and move on, but he has relied so much on Jungkook, that after all these years, it hurts him too much to see him rely on someone else. Love someone else.
Seokjin laid his hand on Namjoon's chest, waiting patiently as his hand began to glow a gentle spring green, spreading the color over Namjoon's body in Estoric symbols.
Namjoon had tiredly opened his eyes, energy filling his body, but not enough to pump his blood fully on its own. "Just let me go..." He mumbled weakly.
Seokjin shook his head. "Your family loves you Namjoon. I do as well. I've been taking care of you ever since you were a little Fae." He said determinedly. Namjoon looked away from him. "You're married, you have a lot to say." He whispered.
"Not at all." Seokjin replied. "Love is a pain, Namjoon. It really is. Have you told this man that you are an Elf?" Namjoon shook his head. "No... He hates Elves." "Than how haven't you had a heartbreak when he said that?" Seokjin asked.
Namjoon sighed, inhaling a short breath. "I didn't know I loved him at that time. I thought it was a simple crush. Turns out it might be my death..." He scoffed. "Not if your life lies in my hands." Seokjin replied.
"Rest Namjoon. Let your family take care of you and stop using your human form. You have to recover your energy and you can't think of this human. If you want I can introduce you to a friend who can help you." Seokjin said softly. Namjoon scoffed. "Who?"
Seokjin smiled. "You'll see. All you need is rest and painkillers for now. I'll check on you tomorrow." Namjoon smiled weakly at him. "Thanks Jin hyung." "Seokjin." "Yeah, yeah." "Respect your elders Namjoon." Seokjin chuckled.
The doorbell rang, and Seokjin had just walked downstairs, smiling at their mother and saying he'll open it instead.
What he saw was feeling tense.
The young man looked worried and sad, peeking inside. "Is Namjoon home?" "Have you ever been here?" Seokjin asked. Jungkook shook his head. "Namjoon didn't want me here, but he told me his address. Is he home?" He asked again. Seokjin sighed and nodded. "He is."
"Can I see him?" Jungkook asked. "I really need to apologize." He tried squeezing past Seokjin, who grabbed his arm. "Seeing you might be his death. I advise you to return to your home and leave Namjoon be until he is ready to live under human society."
Jungkook frowned when the door closed. Why was there an Elf? What did he mean with Namjoon's death? Human society? Jungkook rolled his eyes and ran to the side of the house. He climbed up one of the trees in their back yard and tried to look through the window, but the blinds were closed and all that he saw was a dim green light and a few weak voices.
He sighed and went back home, confused and hurt. Did he get a boyfriend? And why an Elf?
"Are you okay?" His sister asked. Jungkook shook his head. "I think I did something wrong... Something terribly wrong." He mumbled. "What happened?" His sister asked. "I did what you and Yoongi advised me to do, but Namjoon said he had to leave. I went after him after half an hour and this Elf opened the door, saying I might be Namjoon's death. I don't know what to think or do." Jungkook whimpered hopelessly.
His sister sighed. "You said an Elf right?" Jungkook nodded. "Why do you think he said you'd be Namjoon's death?" "I don't know. To get me away." Jungkook grumbled. "What if, and listen to me, what if Namjoon is an Elf?"
Jungkook looked at his sister and burst into laughter. "Right! Because he'd lie about his own kind!" He laughed. "I'm serious." His sister said. "If I remember correctly, Elves can die of heartbreak. What if you broke his heart?" Jungkook scoffed. "He'd tell me. He would never lie to me."
But a soft voice inside Jungkook's head told him he needed to find out what was going on with Namjoon.
Namjoon hesitantly sat up, frowning at his mother. "But what if I don't want to know him?" "Sweetheart please." His mother begged. "We don't want to lose you." "And I don't want anyone else." Namjoon growled. His voice was low and deep, something he only did when there was no talking back to him.
His mother sighed. "Namjoon, just get to know him." Taehyung was watching from a distance. He didn't want his brother to die. His grey-blue eyes almost leaked with tears again that day. His brother was all he had. His only brother, the only one who he opened up to.
The next day, Seokjin came again that morning, and a young Elf came with him. Not that young, maybe one year younger than Namjoon.
"Namjoon?" Namjoon stirred, turning around to meet Seokjin's lilac eyes, and then the emerald green eyes of the unknown Elf. "Who's that?" He spat weakly. "This is Jimin, who I wanted to introduce you to." Seokjin said softly.
Jimin waved shyly. "Hello..." Namjoon huffed and turned around again. "I told my mother already, I don't want someone else." He snarled. Jimin frowned sadly. "I don't want a boyfriend. Just a friend to talk to." "Go to my brother." Namjoon spat. "I only want Jungkook."
Seokjin quickly laid a hand on his shoulder, feeling Namjoon's heated body. "Calm down." Namjoon scoffed. "I want Jungkook." He snarled. "And Jungkook only!" Seokjin felt how Namjoon's veins pulsed and his body heat up.
There was a possession in Namjoon. Something that had to claim and protect Jungkook. If Seokjin wasn't careful with his next words, Namjoon would lose it.
"I know you do Namjoon, but Jimin is just here to talk. He doesn't want to take Jungkook away from you." Namjoon's gray eyes burned into Jimin's before he growled. "Fine. Make it quick."
Jimin smiled slightly. "I just want to know what the human world is like. Are the schools really boring, or are they similar to Estora?" Jimin asked excitedly. Namjoon stayed quiet for a bit. "It's boring. They have no magic and no powers. They're weak and normal. They all are the same. But Jungkook..."
Jimin tilted his head. "Is Jungkook the human that did this to you?" He asked softly, caressing the scar on his heart. Namjoon sighed, biting his bottom lip. Tears welled in his eyes, and he tried so hard to seem strong.
He nodded quickly. "I'm sorry..." Jimin mumbled. "Do you want to take a walk?" He asked. "Just in the park?" Namjoon sighed, exhaling deeply. "Yes please..."
Jimin and Seokjin smiled, helping Namjoon sit up and stand. He was still weak and in pain, but fresh air would do him well. He was an Elf after all. They waved goodbye to Namjoon's mother and Taehyung.
Jimin let Namjoon lean on him as the sun hit their skin. Namjoon didn't think twice to put on an Estorian shirt and pants. The pain from human fabric was unbearable. Namjoon began to feel slightly better at the sight of the trees and animals. The park went much further than just a small bit of trees. It was a hiking trail more than a park.
Not that they mind.
Namjoon's body tingled when the grass brushed his bare feet. He smiled. "Does it feel nice?" Jimin asked softly. Namjoon hummed and nodded. "Yes... Thank you."
Jungkook grumbled some words to himself, kicking a rock into the little river. He sat at the river with mini-waterfalls, watching the water stream. Was this how he would live?
He turned around when he heard the grass move and soft voices. He held his breath. Namjoon... leaning on another Elf. Jungkook growled and turned away again. His eyes shifted towards Namjoon and the Elf again, who walked past him, not noticing his presence. It kinda hurt Jungkook to be honest.
He frowned and squinted his eyes to look better. Were those... Elf ears? He shook his head. He must have been confused with the Elf. Had Namjoon grown over his hate for them? Jungkook didn't mind, he didn't hate them as much anymore, but why...?
Perhaps Namjoon did have a boyfriend... Then again what did that have to do with heartbreak?
"So you talk to animals?" Jimin asked happily. Namjoon nodded. "I do!" He chuckled. Jimin smiled widely. "That's so cool! What do they say?" He asked excitedly. "Mostly things about food." Namjoon chuckled.
"The park always makes me feel better." Jimin said smiling. "It's always so peaceful." Namjoon nodded in agreement. "It's where I go to regain my energy and rest. Being in my normal form is a lot more comfortable than my human form."
Jimin smiled. "You are an Elf. I don't understand why you would hide your form." Namjoon's smile faded into a frown as his skin heat up, breathing got harder for him. "I'm sorry." Jimin mumbled.
Namjoon shook his head. "Jungkook hates Elves." He swallowed his tears away. Jimin frowned. "Don't change for him. You're perfect as an Elf." Namjoon smiled. "Thank you Jimin." "I'm always there if you need me."
Jungkook gulped. He bit his bottom lip and rushed home, ignoring his sister and Yoongi's calls and hiding under his blankets. Perhaps his sister was right... and he almost caused his death.
The next few days, Namjoon went out to the park with Jimin. Namjoon showed him his favorite spots, his animal friends, how he relived his freedom as an Elf.
Jungkook followed him. He was scared and curious. Namjoon in his Elf form was either a curse to Jungkook or a blessing, and he couldn't decide which.
Namjoon seemed so happy when he was with Jimin. But Namjoon constantly felt the pain on his body. "Are you okay?" Jimin asked worriedly. Namjoon shook his head. "My body feels like it's tearing itself apart."
Jimin frowned. "You have to think about something else Namjoon hyung." "I-I am... I don't know why it hurts..." Namjoon's bottom lip quivered. "The pain makes me think about him." He whimpered.
"Is there anything I can do?" Jimin asked. Namjoon nodded. "Please sing for me..."
Jungkook gritted his teeth. He always used to sing for him. Not this Elf he didn't know.
Jimin smiled and nodded. "Of course."
Jungkook had to admit that Jimin's voice was beautiful, and even magical. He was slightly jealous. Just slightly. He stood up from his hiding spot about to walk towards them, when he began to second guess...
How Namjoon enjoyed Jimin's voice, the pain stayed. He looked around, gasping and gulping in fear. Jimin abruptly stopped, following Namjoon's gaze. "Is that...?"
Namjoon nodded. He hesitantly stood up, and with the pain in his body, he walked towards the shivering boy.
Jungkook shivered in fear. He was going to get scolded, beaten, killed even. He shut his eyes tightly, waiting for any pain. Namjoon just stood in front of him. His body hurt and breathing was almost impossible.
"Please leave... Let me move on..." He whispered. Jungkook looked st him with wide eyes. "B-but I..." "Don't let me live in pain Jungkook." Namjoon begged. "I don't have a boyfriend hyung." Jungkook said immediately. "I was trying to make you jealous and confess. But you ran away..."
Namjoon swallowed his tears. "I'm sorry..." "No, hyung, I'm sorry." Jungkook mumbled. "I thought you hated me for it, and when you ran away I asked to come in but this Elf opened the door and said seeing me might be your death. I was so worried about you!"
Namjoon smiled slightly. "I'm alive." "But not alive enough! Why are you in such pain hyung?!" Jungkook yelled. Namjoon looked down. "Elves... can die of a heartbreak." He said softly. "Than who broke your heart?" Jungkook asked.
Jimin frowned. "You did." He growled. Jungkook widened his eyes. "M-me?" He asked. Namjoon hesitantly nodded. "Should I go?" Jimin asked. Namjoon nodded again. "This is between him and me."
Jimin rubbed his back comfortingly and left.
Jungkook stared at Namjoon. "How did I break your heart?" Jungkook asked. Namjoon bit his lip. "When you said you had a boyfriend, I was heartbroken. I... I wanted to protect you and claim you and... I fell in love with you for the longest time." He said softly.
"I know you hate Elves. That's why I never said anything. I didn't want to destroy what we had." Jungkook wrapped his arms tightly around Namjoon's chest. "You idiot! I would never judge you for being an Elf!"
Namjoon's body heat up, but the pain had already soothed and almost fully disappeared. Jungkook wasn't angry at him. He didn't have a boyfriend...
Namjoon hugged him back tightly. "I would never judge you for loving me." Jungkook added. "Because God bless your precious soul! I love you more than you can imagine!" Jungkook rubbed his face in the crook of Namjoon's neck.
Namjoon's heart thumped in his chest, but not of pain. His heart fluttered and his body weakened slightly of Jungkook's warm body against his. Jungkook laughed softly. "I love you hyung. I don't care what you are or who you are, I just love you."
"Can... Can I kiss you?" Namjoon breathed. Jungkook nodded happily. Namjoon pushed his chin up and gently connected their lips. Jungkook kissed back, his heart thumping wildly as he finally felt Namjoon's lips. The warmth he had always dreamed of.
Namjoon rested his hands on Jungkook's waist. As they parted, Namjoon's iris' were surrounded with a soft pink, a smile on his face. "I love you." Jungkook smiled. "I'm sorry that I lied to you." "You can make it up to me." Namjoon chuckled. "Meet my family." Jungkook smiled and nodded. "I will."
With a wide smile, Namjoon pecked Jungkook's lips once more, before taking his hand and leading him home. It was in an Elf's nature to be kind and gentle. Perhaps that is what Jungkook loved about him.
"Mother? Father?" Namjoon asked, peeking in the living room. Taehyung was the first to perk his head up. "Hyung?" He smiled. "You sound better. Where is Jimin?" "Oh, he isn't here?" Namjoon asked. "No, I haven't seen him at least. You look healthier. Are you heading well?"
Namjoon smiled. "I'm cured." Taehyung gasped. "Who...?" Jungkook rubbed the back of his neck, smiling and waving. Taehyung tilted his head. "But... how?" Jungkook frowned slightly. "I lied about having a boyfriend. I wanted to make him confess because I was too shy. I didn't know that he was an Elf... If I knew I would have never done such a thing. I love your hyung, and I don't care if he's an Elf."
Taehyung just smiled. "Welcome to the family Jungkook-ssi." "Am I younger than you?" Jungkook asked. Taehyung nodded. "Born in '95." Jungkook smiled. "You are my hyung!"
"Namjoon?" His mother came from upstairs, smiling widely. "Who is this?" "Mother... This is Jungkook, my lover." Namjoon hooked an arm around Jungkook's waist, who smiled. "It's nice to meet you, Mrs. Kim."
His mother frowned slightly. "You are the one who send my son into a heartbreak?" "Mother, please-" His mother just smiled. "But I see that you also saved him."
Jungkook smiled. "I can see how my son fell for you." His mother said again. "You have a kind soul." Namjoon caressed Jungkook's waist. "He's perfect."
"Where is father?" Namjoon asked. "With Seokjin and Hoseok. I'll enlighten him on the news." His mother said smiling. "Thank you mom." "Anything for my little Fae."
Namjoon gently grabbed his mother's hand. "May I enchant him?" His mother seemed taken aback for a moment, but nodded. "If he allows it, and please be careful." Namjoon smiled and nodded. "I will."
Taehyung smiled. "You really love him." Jungkook nodded. "With my heart and soul."
Namjoon gently took him upstairs, smiling when Jungkook immediately began to bounce on his bed and fall down. "What did you mean with enchanting me?" He asked. Namjoon sat down beside him. "Enchanting you. It means I will claim you and protect you until you die, or until I die. We'll be bonded. It turns a human body and mind into that of an Elf. Of course only with your permission."
"Do it." Jungkook said smiling. "Are you sure?" Namjoon asked. "Yes, I am hyung." Jungkook pecked his lips. "I really love you Namjoon, and if anything I never want to lose you." Namjoon smiled.
"I need you to lay down, and this might hurt a bit, but I'll be here with you." Namjoon said smiling. "How do we start?" Jungkook asked. "We have magic, you know." Namjoon chuckled. Jungkook smiled. "Than enchant me."
Namjoon carefully laid Jungkook flat on his back, intertwining their hands. Namjoon laid his hand on Jungkook's chest, pulling his shirt up just a bit. There was a gentle white spreading on Jungkook's skin, Estoric symbols spreading on his skin.
Jungkook felt calm for a few seconds, all of his worries and fear fading away. He felt at peace. One with his surroundings, almost like Namjoon's energy was pulsing through him.
His grip tightened around Namjoon's hand, a gasp escaping his lips as a sudden rush of pain spread over him. Namjoon smiled, pecking his lips. "It's alright to have pain. It hurts without a doubt. I love you, no matter how you look."
Jungkook smiled. Namjoon pulled his hand from Jungkook's chest, watching as the symbols faded and spread onto Jungkook's skin, making his skin just a slight bit paler, smoothing and softening it. Jungkook felt sensitive and weak, feeling how his body changed.
Namjoon held his hand, smiling and loving him as much as he could. After a few minutes, another wave of peace and energy washed over him. His mind was calm and clear.
He looked at Namjoon, smiling and caressing his thumb on the back of Namjoon's hand. "Thank you." He said softly. Namjoon smiled and pecked his lips gently. "I love you Jungkook." "I love you too hyung."
Half a year had passed, and Jungkook had adapted to his new life. However, he was confused. Whenever he would fill his glass with water, he didn't have to turn the tap on, it would just fill. Whenever he walked outside, the water calmed him.
Namjoon had suspected something, but to be sure he called Seokjin, and this time he brought a guest. "You called?" Seokjin asked with a chuckle. "Yes, I did." Namjoon smiled. "Hoseok hyung." He bowed. Hoseok smiled. "It's a pleasure to see you. And who is the lucky one?"
"That'd be me." Jungkook smiled. "Jungkook, I assume?" Seokjin asked. "You've changed quite a bit." He chuckled. Jungkook smiled. "I have. All for the better." "Can I have a word, Jungkook?" Hoseok asked. Jungkook tilted his head but nodded. He pecked Namjoon's cheek, squeezing his hand comfortingly and followed Hoseok to the living room.
"What is the matter?" Seokjin asked. "Jungkook seems to be... in control of water." Namjoon stated. "I think he might have his ability..." Seokjin nodded. "What kind of water controlling do you mean?"
Namjoon bit his lip. "He told me himself that he doesn't need to turn a tap to get water to flow, and he always feels comfortable near it. Whenever we walk through the forest and the park, the water seems to stir into small streams of the Estoric characters he's learned, and sometimes even symbols like hearts."
Seokjin chuckled. "Are you sure that you needed to call me?" Namjoon shrugged. "I'd rather be sure." "Let me look at his eyes." Seokjin smiled.
"What do you mean Yoongi's with Jimin?" Jungkook asked with disbelieve. "What it means. Jimin came to be two days ago with this human he introduced as Yoongi, when I began to talk to him about you, he freaked out, yelling things about you disappearing suddenly." Hoseok giggled.
Jungkook widened his eyes. "Well. Tell them to come by sometime. I think it's time for me to explain a bit." Hoseok nodded. "You might come across a very different Yoongi." He chuckled. "Is he...?" "Jimin might." Hoseok shrugged.
"Jungkook? May I check your eyes?" Seokjin asked. Jungkook shrugged. "Of course." Namjoon held his hand as Seokjin inspected Jungkook's eyes. "Well, well. You were right Namjoon." Seokjin chuckled. "Humans who watch cartoons would see him as a water-bender."
Jungkook tilted his head. "What is this about?" "Your ability." Namjoon smiled. "All of us Elves have one." "And so do you." Seokjin smiled. "What do you have?" Jungkook asked. Hoseok smiled. "Future visions. But they come at random moments." "And your husband has energy-manipulation." Seokjin chuckled.
Jungkook smiled. "I can't wait to see Yoongi and Jimin." Namjoon chuckled. "I bet they'll be delighted to see you." "And I'll be happy to see them again." Jungkook smiled.
