✒Marked pt. 2✒
Namjoon's POV
The tattoo in my neck was almost done. The pain had long faded after the first hour. In fact I could almost fall asleep. I looked at the door when it opened, revealing the guy from behind the cash register. Hoseok I think.
"Hey, Jungkook said I should get in here until the tattoo was done." He said confused. Jin nodded. "He said the same to me. Look." He pulled the tattoo gun from my skin to reveal the art to Hoseok. "The mark? Interesting." Hoseok smiled.
Jin nodded, continuing to work as precisely as possible. "I know." He said shortly. "It hasn't even been like... five years or something." "Than why did he call me here?" Hoseok asked. "To mark him." Jin said coldly.
Hoseok widened his eyes. "He wants me to mark him?!" He almost shrieked. I frowned slightly. "What is all this marking you're talking about?" I asked. Hoseok yelped slightly. "I thought you were asleep!"
"Me too." Jin chuckled. "I don't sleep a lot when someone or something is touching me. It makes me shiver." I said lowly. Jin chuckled. "I should expect that. You have bags under your eyes." He stated. Hoseok pouted slightly. "It's bad not to sleep."
I nodded. "I know that. It's just something from my body." "Oh..." Hoseok said softly. "Now explain me about the marking." I chuckled. Hoseok gulped shyly. "The mark... Is something that Jungkook tells us to do. We... I can't explain this. Jin?" Hoseok looked at Jin for help.
"If Jungkook says we'll mark someone, we bite them. We turn them into on of us, the ones who wear our tattoo." Jin explained. "Bite them? Explain?" I said. Hoseok shook his head. "Don't. Jin don't!"
Jin chuckled. "Like it's phrased. We bite them. Hoseok will show you soon." "Why do you say that?!" Hoseok yelled through gritted teeth. Jin ignored him, wiping the tattoo clean, clapping his hands together. "And we are done!"
Hoseok bit his lip, his posture was tense. "Jin. Can I talk to you for one second?" He asked through gritted teeth, a fake smile on his face. He pulled Jin away into the hall, leaving me alone.
Weird... Marking, biting. Before you know it all those horror games are true. After a few minutes Jin and Hoseok came back, Hoseok with a cute pout and frown, and Jin as coldly as he always was. "Fine. But if something goes wrong I'm hitting you and Jungkook." He spat.
"Jungkook is-" "Never wrong. I know." Hoseok cut Jin off, looking to his side. "It's just that I've never done this..." I chuckled. "If you think that I'm going to let myself get bitten you better think twice." I spat lowly.
"Vampires smell terrible." I growled. Jin raised his eyebrow. "What do you mean?" He asked. I growled lowly. "It hit me late. The ink scent is covering you entirely. If you think that you're taking my wolf gen from me than you better think twice." I growled.
Jin chuckled. "I thought something was odd about you." Hoseok frowned. "And why exactly are you here then?" He asked, hissing lowly. I scoffed. "Are you kidding? Vampire flesh is the best. I'm just here for a meal." I growled. Hoseok grabbed my wrist roughly. "Touch them and you're messing with my family." He hissed.
"Jin, go and warn the others. I'm going to tame this dog." I growled at him, pulling my wrist from his grip as Jin left. "I am not a dog." I snarled. Hoseok scoffed. "Right." "I'm a wolf." I growled. Hoseok burst into laughter. "Than where is your pack?"
I frowned, inhaling sharply. "I left." Hoseok's frown turned into a small sympathetic tone. "Why? Isn't it boring on your own?" He asked. I scoffed. "A pack is worse. Everyone relies on your position and if you fail, you'll be a free punching-bag for your whole pack." I snarled.
Hoseok sighed. "Do you have any scars?" He asked. I nodded. "A few. Now, which one of you bloodsuckers will become my meal?" I asked growling. Hoseok his sympathetic look immediately turned into a scowl. "None. You touch my family and you're screwed!" He hissed loudly.
I growled lowly, my skin itching to break free from it. Hoseok hissed at me, his red eyes staring into mine as his white fangs revealed to me, biting towards me threateningly.
I growled back at him. "It's a shame you're such a dirty wolf, I would have liked having you with us." Hoseok hissed. I laughed softly. "Really? Wouldn't it be better if I'd turn you into one of mine?" I chuckled.
Hoseok frowned. "Leave all my family and friends behind? No thank you." He snapped. "Wouldn't it be better if you turned into one of us?" He asked. I shook my head. "I hate vampires like you." "Do you hate vampires, or me?" Hoseok asked.
I blinked at him. "What?" "Do you think I willingly chose this life?!" Hoseok hissed. "I learned to live this life. I never chose this. I don't have the vampire gen. I have the DNA. Do you still hate me? Do you still want to eat me when I say that I never wanted this? I was a meal for someone. In fact, Jungkook saved me."
I gulped nervously. "W-why are you so protective over them then?" I asked. "Because I want them to feel safe. None of us chose this life. Jungkook found me through that crazy-luck-trick. After that we found Taehyung. He was literally dying. Stabbed in his back. Jungkook saved him too. Taehyung then turned Jimin by accident. And after that Jimin got with Yoongi. They got in a fight and Jimin turned him of anger. Lastly Jin was turned by Taehyung because of a bet from Yoongi." Hoseok sighed.
"I never turned anyone because I hate blood. It's delicious, but I hate it." He said softly. "We're a family. We're saving ourselves. We saved each other. If Jungkook says we should turn you then you must have had a terrible experience that needs us."
I looked down. "Maybe. Perhaps." I growled. "Come on Namjoon... I won't be able to sleep with this on my mind." Hoseok whined. "A terrible experience? My mate rejected me. Three times. Just because I wasn't alpha worthy. I thought maybe if I worked harder they would accept me. I ended up killing the alpha of my pack and left in fear of myself." I growled.
Hoseok pouted sadly. "You have shed blood, sweat and tears. Just like us. Jungkook knew you need company. A new family." He smiled slightly, opening his arms. "Family hug?"
I embraced myself in his arms, sniffling slightly. "Please turn me..." I whimpered. Hoseok gulped nervously. "Are you sure? I don't want anything you don't want." He asked. I nodded. "I have no one... I am no one. I need family Hobi..." I said softly.
Hoseok nodded. "I will have to drink your wolf gen away, and you will have to drink my blood for the DNA." He said softly. I simply nodded. "Just do it... I want a new life. Something doesn't involve me ripping clothes and breaking stuff." I sniffled softly.
"I'm going to bite you, okay? It will hurt... a lot." He said softly. I scoffed. "Don't care. Bite me." I growled. Hoseok nodded, grazing his sharp fangs on my skin. "I'm sorry if it hurts..."
I screamed in pain when he sunk his fangs into my skin. I could feel the need for the outside and flesh slowly fade. Feeling of growling faded and I began to... feel human... No weird growling, no need to rip out of my skin to run, no need to eat flesh. I felt normal.
Hoseok pulled his fangs from my skin gently. "Just drink my blood now Namjoonie." He said softly, biting into his wrist. He whined of pain, offering his wrist to me. I pressed y lips around the wound, licking the falling drops away.
I began to shiver as I felt my body get colder. Hoseok wrapped into a tight hug. "You're okay. I'm with you. We're with you." I nodded, feeling a burning boiling feeling in my throat. I hissed lowly, feeling my own fangs bite into my lip.
Hoseok let go of me hesitantly, smiling widely. "I have a few bottles with blood if you're thirsty." I instantly nodded, licking my fangs. "I have a family now... right?" I asked softly. Hoseok nodded. "You'll always have us. And we live for eternity. I won't leave you. Neither will the others."
I smiled as Hoseok took me back inside, causing eyes to fall onto me immediately. "No more dog?" Jin asked with a chuckle. I rolled my eyes at him, catching the bottle that Hoseok threw at me. "Shut up Jin." Hoseok hissed.
"He killed the alpha of his pack, in fear of himself he ran away. He had no one." He growled lowly. I frowned. "Hoseok said that I'd get a new family... someone to rely on. Someone to talk to. Like Hobi." I said lowly, opening the bottle and drinking the delicious tasting liquid inside.
Hoseok smiled. "We at BB's are a family Namjoonie. You're part of our family." I smiled widely. "I'm glad... my old pack was stupid anyway." I scoffed. "So, you up for a job?" Jungkook asked smiling. I hesitantly nodded. "What is it?" "Just another artist here." Jungkook said.
I tilted my head. "But I can't... draw quite well..." I said softly. "No need to. I can tutor you. You can stay with us if you want to-" "Am I late?" A husky voice called out.
I turned my head to the door. "Yoongi hyung!" "Jiminie!" Yoongi chuckled, embracing the smaller artist in his arms, kissing his forehead. "What are you doing here?" Jin asked. "Am I too late to apply for a job?" Yoongi asked grinning.
Jungkook smiled. "We were just about to get another artist, but I guess we have one more shop for you." He smiled. Yoongi chuckled. "I've been practicing. I'm back!" He yelled, holding his hands up in victory.
I couldn't help but laugh. "What about my tutoring?" I asked. "Yoongi here has been here for a few years already. He just had to take a break. I can still help you while you and Hoseok kiss- I mean, work." Jungkook chuckled.
Hoseok widened his eyes. "Kook!" He yelled, hiding his face with his shirt. "Why would you say that?!" "Because it's gonna happen anyway!" Jungkook yelled happily. "If you don't mind, I'm on break." Taehyung growled. "I want to drink something." Jin rolled his eyes. "Go. I'll be with you in a few."
A year or something past. Currently, I was still being tutored by Jungkook, and Hoseok would never let me out sight. He would practice with me, compliment me whenever he could. He made me smile. I had no control over it. He would step in sight and I'd smile.
I bit my lip, tapping my pencil onto my empty white sketch paper. I had to come up with a design that said a story. Something small, but meaningful. Homework from Jungkook. The guy has me all riled up for my next task and I can't seem to get any ideas!
"Namjoonie!" Hoseok smiled, hugging my back even though I sat. "Hey Hobi..." I sighed. He pouted. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Jungkook gave me this new homework and I can't get any ideas." I whined. Hoseok frowned slightly. "Will this help?" He asked, turning around to my front.
He pushed the paper and my hands down, leaning on them to place his lip on mine. I froze for a little. His pretty soft lips on mine... It took me only a few seconds to kiss back, letting go of my pencil and sketchbook, shoving them away.
I pulled Hoseok onto my lap, tilting my head slightly to deepen the kiss just a little. "I knew it!" Jungkook yelled happily. "It may have taken a year, but it happened! I am right, again!" He cheered. I rolled my eyes. "Shut up. You just wanted it to happen didn't'cha?" I teased.
Hoseok chuckled. "Let him be." He said smiling. I nodded happily. "I'm taking the day off. You too?" I asked softly. Hoseok nodded vigorously. "Yep!" "Good. I'm taking you on a date tonight." I chuckled. Hoseok smiled. "No need to. We can watch movies and enjoy each other's warm presence!" He exclaimed happily. "Just you and me." "It always will be."
The End
This one is short because I have a stupid class and I'm pissed. I'm sorry if this was bad. I'll try to make a better one if possible.
Can I have inspiration?
