🎞Mystery to be unfold pt. 3🎞
Jungkook stared at his father with an angry frown. "They're here dad. I saw them." He growled. "They are as you described. Irresistible, old-fashioned, true murderers and vampires of their kind. I've never seen some so ruthless as Jung Hoseok, or as dark as Kim Taehyung. I've never felt such rage towards Kim Seokjin or Kim Namjoon as I have now that I've seen them."
His father looked down at him with a scoff. "You look like your mother. Always jumping to conclusions and emotions without knowing your enemy." He spoke coldly. "You know what awaits you."
Jungkook nodded. "I do." His grip around the metal rings tightened. "I will make sure I'll be their perfect prey-" "No." His father snarled. "We are hunters. We kill them." Jungkook frowned. "As you say."
Jungkook's dull grey eyes were the only thing that screamed the Jeon family. He always hid them, but he knew that a bit of cologne could never hide his obvious scent. It amused him to see vampires struggle to what smelled so good as he just walked past them.
From his tenth he had been learning different kinds of fighting sports. Taekwondo, Judo, Kung Fu. He could do anything. In fact, he could do nothing and still beat the hell out of you with just the gaze of his lifeless eyes.
Just like his father, he had grey eyes. His deathening stare from his mother. He looked a lot like her, his father said, when she was still alive. Jungkook saw her die. He saw the vampire ripping her heart out of her chest, through her ribs as the ribcage broke, ripping her lungs in the process.
Biology was one of Jungkook's favorite subjects. He would know anything about the human body. After all, vampires are immortals in a human body.
Here they were. Iron weapons in their hands, both of their scents roaming loosely for the vampires to find. They would have no mercy. It was something the Jeon's didn't give, because what you can't receive, you can't return.
Jungkook took a deep breath, his eyes roaming by the vampires. He followed his father upon the roofs, watching them from far above.
Jungkook had to admit that there was something about them. There was something about the two vampires that warmed his body. Perhaps it was their gaze. The same sickening gaze he had.
His father frowned. "Don't attach to them." "I'm not." Jungkook replied. "I'm observing them. Look." Jungkook pointed at Taehyung, who whined and rubbed his shoulder when someone bumped into it. "His arms are weak. He probably has more fang strength if you look at how much he moves his jaw."
His father nodded. "Clever boy." "I got it from you." Jungkook smiled. "Of course you did." His father chuckled. "I love you Ggukie. If I die, give me a nice funeral." He said, placing a hand on Jungkook's shoulder. Jungkook smiled and nodded. "If I die, give me a nice one." "You won't die." His father said softly. "I'm sure of it."
The first of September. It was only one day away. One day until Jeongguk became twenty years old. And his father was afraid. Jungkook barely knew his mother, but if he did, he would have left the world a long, long time ago.
Taehyung growled. "I smell him!" He snarled. "His scent roamed all over this place." Seokjin replied. "No. I mean I smell him." Taehyung hissed. "Junyo..." Seokjin widened his eyes. "Is it really him?!" Taehyung sniffed again. "Your old friend has finally returned..."
Seokjin smirked slightly. "Junyo... My old friend... We meet again." He growled.
Junyo frowned as he stared at his son. He was the one who brought Jungkook into this. And so, they will finish it..
"Yoongi! Give that back!" Hoseok hissed, chasing after the younger vampire, who held the memory card of Hoseok's phone. "Jimin! Catch!" Yoongi threw the small card towards the newborn vampire, who caught it with a mischievous smile, running through the house.
Hoseok's chest was heaving up and down in anger. They had just finished from getting blood and already he felt like needing some more. These two were like kids.
Namjoon pulled Jimin's arm, yanking him back. He forcefully pushed Jimin's chin up, his blood-red eyes burning into Jimin's. "Give. It. Back." He hissed lowly. His tone was so dark and deep, it made Jimin shiver in his spot. He was frozen in fear, not wanting to be punished again.
He handed the memory card to Namjoon, who handed it back to Hoseok. "I'm sorry..." He said softly. Namjoon shook his head. "It's okay, you just need to behave." Jimin frowned. "But behaving isn't fun." He whined. "Do you want me to bite you again?" Namjoon hissed lowly. Jimin shook his head.
There was something about Namjoon's tone that made Jimin shiver in fear. It forced him in obedience, not daring to disobey after the three bites from the pureblood.
The bite marks were still there, covered by soft and gentle hickeys.
"Than listen." Namjoon growled. "I love you, but you have to listen to me." Jimin nodded. "Okay..."
Hoseok grabbed Yoongi's throat, pulling him back at the small strains of hair. His eyes were spitting fire at Yoongi, absolute rage and anger roaring through him. "WHAT IS IN YOUR STUPID MIND THAT MADE YOU DO THIS?!" He roared angrily.
Yoongi frowned and scoffed. "You're always so busy. Lighten up a bit. Have some fun!" He yelled back. "I don't do fun." Hoseok spat. "I'm a dangerous vampire. A pureblood of over seven hundred years old, experienced with modern tech and the vampire lifestyle under human society." He hissed. "I'm your boss. You listen to me. I own you now, Min Yoongi. That mark, belongs to me."
Yoongi smirked. "It does. But that mark, also belongs to me." He hissed lowly. "So I own you as well, boss." He spat. Hoseok growled. "Why am I even putting up with you?" "Because you want to." Yoongi purred. "No." Hoseok spat. "Get out. Leave me alone for some time."
Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Fine. Don't come crying to me when you die old and alone." He hissed. "I'm not old, and I've always been alone." Hoseok protested. "Sure." Yoongi spat, before disappearing from Hoseok's sight. Hoseok took a deep breath, releasing the one he had been holding.
Finally. Some peace and quiet... Why didn't he like it?
Jungkook growled. "When do we attack?" "When they come towards us." His father replied. "I don't see why I can't walk up to them and say hey, come with me." He spat. "Too obvious." His father replied. "Don't be so naive, Jeongguk."
Jungkook growled. "I'm nineteen dad. I can make my own decisions." "But you're also careless, and don't know when to stop." His father added. "Listen to me, and wait."
Jungkook huffed and stared at the two vampires, when a sharp pain went through his body. He groaned and clutched his stomach. His father paid no mind to him. It was normal to be in pain. Get over it and balance out, he said. Jungkook agreed.
After hours of waiting, he finally saw Taehyung look up at him. Very slowly and carefully, the two made eye contact. Jungkook watched with a grin as Taehyung's eyes flashed a ruby red, pushing Jin's shoulder and pointing up at him slightly, not warning the people passing by.
Seokjin looked up at them, pulling Taehyung with him to the alley and behind the building. "Wait." His father growled. "Let them see how big you've become."
Soon enough, Jungkook saw Taehyung staring at him. It was true, vampires were inhumanly fast and stronger than humans.
The two were only a few feet away from enough other, Taehyung's ruby red eyes staring with blazing anger towards him. Jungkook stayed unfazed, grinning at him. "Surprised?" He chuckled. Taehyung just hissed. "Mortals are all the same." He spat.
Seokjin raised an eyebrow. "Junyo... You've grown old." He chuckled. "Missed me?" "Not at all." Jungkook's father growled. "Too bad. I missed you and your..." Seokjin raised his upper lip in annoyance. "Speeches.." He hissed. "They were facts." "And so you passed them to your son? Not very smart to let him on the internet for us to see." He chuckled.
Jungkook rolled his eyes. "Right. Because my scent didn't give me away." "You don't smell like your father." Taehyung growled. "You smell like your mother. Half breed." He hissed. "Disgusting." He spat, spitting on Jungkook's face.
Jungkook wiped the spit away, anger raging in his eyes as he lifted his fist and punched Taehyung right on his nose. Taehyung hissed and winced, holding his bleeding nose and bruised lip. "What the hell?!" "You spit on me!" "So?!" "SO?!"
Taehyung's eyes were locked with Seokjin's, begging for permission to rip his lungs from his body. Seokjin shook his head. He raised an eyebrow when a dark silhouette appeared behind Junyo, eventually lunging at him.
Jungkook widened his eyes when he heard his father's muffled screams. He quickly turned around, widening his eyes even further. He backed away, bumping into Taehyung. "Y-Yoongi hyung?" "Evening Kookie." Yoongi smiles, licking his lips clean as he let the body drop. "Thought you needed some cleaning up."
Utter hate and rage roared through Jungkook's body. His breathing hitched as he stared at his father's dead body. "I hoped to pick an even fight, not a cheating game... I... I'm all alone now..." He mumbled.
Seokjin frowned. He knew what it was like to feel alone. He suggested. "Take him with. He's a half breed anyway." Jungkook frowned. "Half breed?" "Half human and half vampire." Seokjin replied. "Your mother died by your father's hands, after she gave birth to you after three years."
"How do you know this?" Jungkook asked. "I was her caretaker... a long, long time ago..." Seokjin mumbled. "Come. I'll explain everything. First, you need rest. Yoongi, come on!"
Yoongi whined, standing yo from poking the corpse's arm. "But it's so fun!" "You and Hoseok are the insane match..." Taehyung mumbled. Yoongi scoffed. "He send me out." "Really? Tell you something, he does that when he needs to think." Seokjin chuckled.
Jungkook frowned. "Why haven't you killed me yet?" "We won't be able to kill you with a bite." Seokjin explained. "We can kill you with a knife, but only weapons of actual iron, and only iron can cut through your skin."
Jungkook nodded slightly. The walk continued in silence. He was kinda sad that he never got to fight. He liked it a lot. They, once again, came back to the house. No one was in the living room, but the sound of water running and voices in the bathroom had enough, and the fast typing noises from a keyboard filled the house.
"It reeks of blood." Jungkook whined. "I know." Yoongi grinned. "It's mine." "How?" Jungkook asked. "How did you become this way?"
Yoongi shrugged. "I was in a hunter family too, but they took me, even though I wanted nothing to do with it. I went to clean a bite mark, but grabbed a towel with vampire's blood on it and ended up turning myself, and a few minutes later, Jimin."
Jungkook frowned. "So... no one here is fully human?" Seokjin shook his head. "Sit down Kook." He said lowly, falling onto the couch. Jungkook hesitantly sat down as Taehyung moved with Hoseok to a different room.
"Your mother was a sweet little girl. Innocent and playful. A true wonder to the world. She grew up, and I proposed to her... I loved her with all my heart, and she rejected me for a hunter. Your father. He tried to kill me, but your mother stepped in the way. It was right at your house. I could see you, peeking from the corner at how ruthless your father was on his wife." Seokjin hissed.
"On my love."
"So is that why you're after us?" Seokjin nodded. "I loved her. If your father would have never come in my way we'd be happily married and have a grown-up child or two." Jungkook chuckled. "Love is mad. Isn't it? It destroys so many beautiful things, and returns many unwanted feelings." He said softly.
"Envy, anger, greed. The need to have something other people have, that emotion that pressures your soul to darkness. That builds the anger, that makes you want more and more. But inside you'll always stay empty."
"It's like a book." Seokjin mumbled. "I am like a book. You read me like an open mind, and yet I never told anyone except for my friends." "I have it from my father." Jungkook smiled. Seokjin shook his head. "From your mother."
Jungkook sighed. "I didn't really know her. I was a child." "I know. I remember you." "You do?" Jungkook asked. Seokjin nodded. "You were the most adorable child I've ever seen. I don't think it changed." He said softly.
Jungkook laughed softly. "How fortunate. Us coming together again. Knowing the truth..." Seokjin chuckled. "How do you know I'm speaking the truth?" He asked. "I see it in your eyes. You mean your words." Jungkook growled.
Seokjin smiled and nodded. "You really look like your mother." He said softly. Jungkook smiled. "What was my mother like?" He asked. Seokjin clutched his shirt. "Perfect..." He mumbled.
"She was all I needed. We hunted together, we laughed and we cried together. She was good at everything, she smiled just like you. We talked about everything and... I almost swore she loved me too. But then your father came in the picture. Six hundred years down the drain. Then you were born, and I couldn't stay angry at your mother."
Jungkook bit his lip.
"Because somewhere in my mind, I still thought you were my son. That you could have been my son..." Seokjin frowned. Jungkook smiled slightly. "You're not so bad as I thought you were." "None of us are. We have scars that can't heal, but have to be filled with something." Seokjin frowned. "It affected our nature."
Jungkook tilted his head. "Your nature?" Seokjin nodded. "It made us bloodthirsty. More than usual. We became a sin of our own. Something that got us to where we are now." "Like the Seven Deadly Sins? You know? He anime?" Jungkook asked. Seokjin raised an eyebrow. "What is... ani... me?" "Anime." Jungkook corrected. "It's a Japanese series and artstyle."
Seokjin shook his head. "The idea of the sins is good, but never based on what you see. You can see Taehyung filled with Wrath. He has so many things he wants to avenge, but it has taken over him. It filled him with undeniable anger for humans. Even those who don't know anything." He said softly.
"Namjoon... perhaps Gluttony. He is thirst all the time. With any kind of angry emotion he gets thirsty and it won't go away without being satisfied, unlike me." Seokjin said softly. "My thirst still fades after a bit of time, but comes back twice as hard the next time I crave for it."
Jungkook laughed softly. "And you are Envy." He said lowly. "Wanting to own what others have. A family, love. You envied my father for taking what you wanted, and you felt angry. It was all his fault. But... never have you ever thought about my mother's happiness... Have you?"
Seokjin hesitantly shook his head. "I was overwhelmed. I was possessed by the greed of wanting more of what others had, so much that it began to change me. I became ruthless, and sometimes even reckless." Jungkook suddenly wrapped his arms around Seokjin, leaving the vampire in a state of utter shock.
"W-what are you...?" "I'm sorry if I did anything bad. I... I didn't know. I didn't want to know." He mumbled. Seokjin hesitantly wrapped his arms around Jungkook's body, slowly starting to embrace this warm feeling. Jungkook had a lot from his mother. Seokjin, once again, fell for it.
"You didn't do anything wrong." Seokjin mumbled. "It was me." Jungkook shook his head. "It wasn't you." "It was." "It wasn't." "It was." Seokjin hissed lowly. "Even now... Even now I am falling in love with who my mind swears Is your mother." He mumbled.
Jungkook hesitantly parted from him. "Falling in love?" Seokjin looked away. "Yes..." "Hyung... Are you... in love with me? Because I look like my mother?" Seokjin sighed deeply. "Yes..." He said again.
Jungkook widened his eyes. "H-hyung..." "I know." Seokjin growled. "I shouldn't feel this way. I should be in your shadows. I should be weak under your gaze, but instead I see those shining orbs that your mother had. And it makes my body weaken on my knees. It makes my heart thump in my chest. And I'm sorry for it."
Jungkook shook his head again. "I'm glad. It lets me know that after all those years... you still remember her... and love her." He said softly. Seokjin smiled slightly. "Even without words it would be obvious." "I know." Jungkook smiled. "But I don't care."
"I TOLD YOU NOT TO TOUCH THAT!"
Seokjin groaned and rolled his eyes. He pouted annoyed. "Who are they?" Jungkook asked. "Hoseok and Yoongi. Ever since he's been turned he's been pissing our engineer off like a madman." "Your engineer?" "Our computer genius."
Jungkook chuckled. "Wow..." "I know." Seokjin chuckled. "He's become a real troublemaker."
Soon enough, Yoongi came running through the living room, Hoseok right on his heels. "GIVE THAT BACK!" He hissed. Yoongi just laughed and hissed back at him playfully, speeding away just as fast as he came, Hoseok following right behind him.
"I'll kill him." He muttered.
Jungkook chuckled. "Newborns..." "Trouble in a bag." Seokjin smiled. "It feels nice to have some life roam again. I've never been so long in one place before. I'm always on the move. But... this feels nice... To talk." He said softly. Jungkook smiled. "I thought the same..."
Seokjin and Jungkook stared at each other for a bit of time, Jungkook's eyes shaking slightly. His moon grey orbs twinkling in Seokjin's sight. "I... I..." Jungkook stammered slightly. Seokjin's colorful red eyes were the opposite from Jungkook's dark grey ones, the match almost wanting Jungkook to see them better.
Like a magnet, the two leaned towards each other, Jungkook's heart thumping in his chest like an animal. Seokjin had no control over his body. He did as Jungkook did. Lean forward until eventually their noses touched.
Seokjin felt Jungkook's hot breath on his skin, and he couldn't hold back. He gently tilted his head to place his lips on Jungkook's, his hands holding his waist.
Jungkook wasn't shocked or even surprised. It felt comfortable to him. He gently kissed back, their lips moving in synch like a dance as their bodies pressed against each other, feeling each other's body heat up, their hearts beat, and slowly... Jungkook's love grow, as he slithered his arms around Seokjin's neck and pulled him closer to him.
"Really? I thought you wanted to kill him?" Namjoon chuckled. Seokjin hesitantly parted. "It doesn't matter. He looks like Jisoo..." He smiled slightly. "And I fell for her once again, in a different body. Her son's."
Jungkook smiled. "And... I guess I fell for you in one way or another." Seokjin smiled slightly. "I'm glad..." "How adorable." Namjoon chuckled. "I guess Taehyung is the only single one now." Seokjin looked up at him with a raised eyebrow. "And the two fighting morons?" "Also a couple. Claimed, remember?" Namjoon said smiling. "And Jiminie and I, we work it out better than thought."
"How old are you Kookie?" Jimin asked, smiling. "Huge fan by the way." He giggled. Jungkook laughed softly. "Nineteen, tomorrow is my lucky day." He said smiling. "Really?! Then we have to go get presents now!" "Too late Jiminie." Namjoon chuckled. "It's over midnight."
Jimin pouted. "I hate not being tired a night anymore..." "You'll learn to love it. Stars are beautiful. Did I ever tell you how stars are tiny mistakes? They always tell a story when it's storming."
(Remember that ;)
Jimin smiled and shook his head. "Tell me!" He yelled, hopping towards him. Namjoon chuckled softly, hooking an arm around his waist. "Come on."
The screaming back-fighting of Yoongi and Hoseok silenced down, and soft snores echoed through the silent room. They probably didn't close the door.
Jungkook took a deep comfortable breath. "It's over midnight..." He mumbled. "I'm twenty..." Seokjin smiled, pecking his lips. "Happy birthday, Jeongguk." "Thank you hyung, your lips are the best present I could have. You are the best present..." Seokjin smiled widely. His heart filler with that feeling he always felt with his mother. He never felt this happy to kiss his lover.
The small rays of moonlight fell through the blinds, falling upon the couple. Jungkook's grey eyes shimmered in the light, and Seokjin was sure that a soft red glow shone from them.
He was right...
They never lost eye contact as Jungkook's breathing hitched. His grey eyes faded and lit up into a beautiful rose-red, fangs slipping past his parted bottom lip ever so slightly. Seokjin tilted his head. "Half breed." He chuckled. "An official grown up." Jungkook said proudly.
Seokjin smiled. "Your immortal life begins here." "I'll happily live it with you." Jungkook said softly, snuggling his body in Seokjin's chest. Seokjin pressed his lips against Jungkook's forehead, running his fingers through his soft hair. A wide smile rested on his lips. He was happy...
He was in love.
Taehyung growled and ran through the woods of Gwangju. He went back. Back to where you were. After all, he wasn't single.
He managed to climb into the open window of your apartment, something you always did. In the hope he would return.
Taehyung smiled as he saw you sleeping on the couch. Another restless night, waiting for him when he warned you not to wait. You were always the stubborn kind. And the sleepy kind.
Taehyung let himself fall on the couch next to you, laying your head in his lap and stroking your hair. His low voice rung through your ears, his melody filled with magic and emotion as your eyes fluttered open.
You knew that voice.
You turned your head up to meet his red eyes, his iris glinstering with happiness as he smiled at you.
"I'm back, my love."
