"Hyung, will you come back?"

"Of course I will. All I need is to go out for food."

He swore he was careful enough. He was sure that he was safe. Reaching for the one thing they both needed had gotten his end.

How could he have been so stupid?

Of course you run when you see half of a zombie's body twitch on the ground with only an arm stab wound.

Reaching for their package of instant noodles, Yoongi was screaming in pain when the entire thing was knocked over, every item falling down as the twitching and shrieking deadman lunges towards him with a broken leg.

It cracks violently at every step, both his hands reaching for the human who was crying, having almost been crushed by the domino of displaying shelves, scratched his knee fully open and was in too much pain to stand on it.

There were two options as the being lunged at him.

Accept to be bitten and maybe eaten.

Or run with a harmed knee and risk a horde coming for him with exposed blood.

There was no way he'd make it back to Hoseok alive.

And that pained him.

So, closing his eyes, Yoongi waited for the pain of the bite. Screaming when teeth sunk into his ankle, cracking the bone.

Collapsing onto the floor, Yoongi screams and cries out in pain as the zombie tears the skin off his bone with flesh, creating the burning sensation of the dead skin that was slowly intertwining around the bone to keep it weakly steady.

It was a thing that zombies had.

Crying out in pain, the zombie lays down besides him, taking a few deep breaths before patting Yoongi on his shoulder.

"Don't worry." The zombie grunts in a broken voice of Korean. "You'll be able to feast soon enough. We have a whole stack of humans laying around."

Yoongi's sobbing stops, almost immediately turning to look at the zombie. "Than why did you come for me?!"

"I was starving!"

"I don't care." Yoongi growls. "I have a buddy back at home who I promised I'd return!"

The zombie's dead red eyes grow wide. "... Buddy...?" He licks his lips. "... Food..."

Yoongi immediately grabs the hair on the zombie's scalp, pulling it back so hard that the zombie's back snaps.

"You touch him with one dirty finger of yours, and I will fucking eat you." He growls threateningly, pushing the zombie back to have his spine snap back in place.

The zombie smiles at him.

Dead veins are beginning to blossom in Yoongi's skin, going up his neck, his cheeks, reaching his ears. His skin is a dirty, sickening grey, mixed with the green mash of veins and pressuring of blood.

Yoongi groans, his skin pulsing around his muscle and bone, his heart clenching, gasping for air.

The zombie pats his back, allowing the growling shriek in Yoongi's throat to release, the around being accompanied by the sound of nails on chalkboard screams.

His eyes, dark and brown, have turned light and white. A bit on the dead side. The very, very light blue in his iris can tell them apart, yet when his body stops shaking, there is darkening aqua over the color, his iris filling up with red.

His throat pulses, his body is skinny, and his brain can only think about one thing.

The flesh and blood of something nearby.

The zombie besides him stands up with a groan, fixing his leg with a whine before helping Yoongi up.

Saliva hangs from Yoongi's teeth as he murmurs a growl, licking his much too dry lips. Even his tongue is dried out and rough.

"Don't worry." The zombie says again, this time in growls, groans and grunts that Yoongi understands.

He just nods, but his mind is set on wanting to eat one man.

"He promised he'd come back." Hoseok mutters at the group of survivors. "But he never did."

"And he was what? Roommate, friend, lover?"

"Jimin!"

"What?!"

Hoseok chuckles at the eldest scolding the younger. "It's fine hyung. He was my best friend... But I've had an eye for him for a while. We just never really got to that phase of lovers, you know?"

Jimin nods, understanding where Hoseok is coming from.

The oldest of the group, Seokjin, sighs deeply. "At least you were still friends when you lost each other."

"It still hurts."

Seokjin glares at him. "Of course it does. I saw my husband be bitten right in front of my eyes. I escaped him after refusing to run when he screamed at me to do so. I saw his skin die, I saw the life fade from his eyes, and I saw the hunger for my flesh change him right in front of me. It's scarier than any horror movie, because this is real."

Realization dawns upon the group at his words.

This is real.

"I lost my brother..." The youngest whimpers. "We were going to a theme park that day a-and we had a lot of fun! But... the zombies managed to get in without any sign of how. We were playing tag in the maze, and... we got chased."

Jimin wraps an arm around the tearing-up boy, who sniffles.

"I managed to escape the maze... I was always last because I always forgot the way. But... Tae wasn't there." He sniffles. "I heard him scream, crying out my name, when I got dragged away by a staff member who escorted us to the exit and ordered us to go home. I... I..."

The boy bursts into tears and lands his watery eyes in Jimin's shirt.

Hoseok signs. "We've all lost someone. Your husband, your brother, my friend... And your...?"

Jimin shakes his head. "My mom. I'm a single son with a father who died when I was a kid from drinking problems. My mom gave me this..." He ruffles through his survival bag to show us a necklace. It's broken apart.

An open-close locket with the picture of his mother inside of it.

"My mom has the other part with me in the locket. I just hope she still has it."

"My brother and I had funny little earrings we made for each other!" Jungkook says, lighting up a bit. His eyes are red from crying, but he points at a silver stud in his ear in the shape of a Chinese symbol. "I have the earring with little and he has the one with brother."

Seokjin smiles slightly, twisting the wedding ring on his finger. "I hope he still has it." He mumbles. "I'd be... heartbroken, if he lost it again, or broke it by accident, or worse..."

Hoseok sighs. He doesn't have anything for Yoongi or him but the weird bracelets they made when they were young. They don't fit anymore though and they left them at home.

With a sigh, the men sit around the crackling fire, the little food they have keeping them healthy.

It's important to always check for bites in the package, since even the single scratch can carry the virus.

Hoseok mumbles something under his breath, looking through his bag. He sighs sadly after finding it.

His heart pounds in his chest at the picture he printed out at prom years ago. Neither of them had a date so they thought why not go as friends.

He misses him.

All four men look at each other, until Jungkook speaks up.

"Why do we try to survive?"

Seokjin looks at him. "We're human. We always have been."

"But we risk more change of getting eaten or getting turned than surviving..." Jimin mumbles. "He's right. If we at least get turned than I could try to find my mother."

"My brother..."

Seokjin and Hoseok look at each other and sigh.

"My husband... I want to know how he's doing. If he's fed right, if he's been careful... I want to tell him that I love him. Even as this... dirty monster."

Hoseok nods, agreeing. "They couldn't have just... become entirely different beings right? They should still be in there... somewhere..."

°•●•°

Grunting and groans, yet audiable lauguter. Zombies are having great times, whether you may think it or not.

Yoongi has never been able to relate to so many other... dead people.

He's been having fun. The guy who turned him apparantly was some sort of mood-maker, having everyone happy in one place was his goal.

There was this one guy who was just all bark and no bite. He would constantly yell and laugh about everything, yet be clumsy and knock something over and sometimes even break a bone.

He's constantly twisting the ring on his finger too.

The man looks like he's been through some rough times and he still has bite marks all over him, where as Yoongi's mark has been ripped off and left the bone.

Taehyung's mark was on his back, hidden by his shirt. He's been pushed over and trapped before being bitten and fed from. His entire body was covered in scars and bite marks, ripped skin and exposed bone.

Yoongi still looked... reasonably acceptable.

It's been weeks since he's turned, but the society was simply misunderstood.

People who accidentily got turned miss their friends and family. The only reason why humans are so scared of them is because of the way they look and of the way they can get bitten.

Namjoon is one of the zombies who misses a loved one more than anyone Yoongi knows.

The zombie is constantly hugging his hand with the ring close to him, as if he's scared to lose it.

His eyes are empty when thinking about the person who owns the other side.

"Joon, who has the other one?" Yoongi asks him, sitting down next to the zombie, who sighs deeply.

He lets his hands drop in his lap, looking up at the moon. "My husband... I'm married."

Yoongi looks up at him. "Really? You never told me this."

"I... I'd like to forget it." Namjoon mutters. "But I can't. He's told me so many times how disgusting these... things are. I don't dare look for him I doubt he'd remember me. I doubt he'd love me again..."

Yoongi smiles at him. "Don't think like that. He'll still love you."

"I still doubt it, Yoongi." Namjoon says, his voice small and silent, looking down at his hands. "I'm... I'm the monster he fears."

Yoongi sighs deeply, patting his shoulder. "The only thing they are afraid of is our bite and the way we look. You still talk and sound the same for as much as I know."

"We talk in groans and grunts, Yoongi." Namjoon snaps at him. "My Korean has sunken so far that I can't even remember what hello is! I won't even be able to talk to him..." He mumbles sadly.

"Joon..."

"I don't know where he is. I'd love to see him. I want to tell him how much I miss our time together, but he'd run away from me. Our way of talking is our hungry growling to them."

Yoongi smiles. "What if we go find them?"

Namjoon looks at him. "Do you really think we'll be able to find him?"

"Not only your husband. I want to find my friend. Taehyung wants his brother."

A soft smile makes a way to Namjoon's lips. "Alright... We'll be able to sniff them out eventually."

Nodding, Yoongi gets up. "That's the spirit."

Namjoon also gets up, pulling Yoongi in for a tight hug, of which the older awkwardly hugs back.

They go back to meet Taehyung, who immediately smiles at them and at their next words.

"Grab your arm, we're going to find your brother."

But before they can leave, a middle-aged woman grabs Taehyung's wrist gently, a worried gaze in her dead eyes.

"Can I come?" She asks softly. "My son... He never stays alone. The chance of him being in a group might be bigger than staying here."

Looking at each other, Yoongi nods. They can use every nose they can find.

°•●•°

A shriek in the middle of the night. Yeah, sure. One way to stay up unnoticed.

"Thanks a lot Jin!" Jimin snaps. "I had just cleaned my pipe!"

"I can't help it! This ugly thing tried to take my handsome face!"

Hoseok sighs, slamming the barrel of his gun against an approaching walker's head.

"Let's just run, there is a train station nearby, we might be able to get on it."

Jungkook nods. "I know how trains work. I can see if I can start it."

"Good." Jimin sneers. "Because clearly sweet Jinnie won't be quiet!"

"And in what trickery movie do you think we are?!" Seokjin yells back. "This is almost like Train To Busan so don't fuck with me. I've seen the movie and I know how to kill people who annoy me."

"Try me." Jimin growls.

Hoseok quickly jumps in between them, panic flashing within him. "Guys! Shut up! We are never alone so leave your bickering until we get to somewhere safe."

With a huff, Jimin crosses his arms. "Fine."

Seokjin merely scowls at him, nodding before sliding his dagger back into his pocket.

Hoseok sighs deeply. "Besides, in a train we have metal around us. It'll block our scent for a bit and it'll give us time to sleep."

Jungkook nods happily. "I'm tired..."

"Let's move then." Seokjin mumbles. "Before more infected get into our way."

Nodding, the group moves. The train station wasn't too far away. It would only take a few hours of walking before they'd reach a safe spot to rest.

Although of course that would not be without any trouble. This is a pandemic. A war between the undead and the living.

It's not worth calling it a society any longer. The human race is being exterminated.

Jimin bites his lip, tapping his elbow from time to time. He knows they've been walking for a while and would rather not stop. But he's been holding it for the past fifty minutes!

"Guys! Guys stop! I gotta take a leak!" He whines.

Seokjin groans. "Seriously?! Now?!"

"I've been doing you a favor by holding it in but if I don't go now I'll piss my pants and not from fear this time!" Jimin says, looking at Hoseok with big eyes.

Sighing, the man smiles and nods. "We'll wait. Go."

"Thank God!"

Jimin immediately rushes into the bushes and already messes with the buckle of his belt.

A sigh of relief passes his lips when he is finally able to let go, his release being more than satisfying now that he'll be able to run with the others.

But all of that turns into pure panic when he is still busy, and the groaning growl of a familiar being runs in his ear.

Fuuuuuck...

I mean, he can't really stop taking a leak by force. If it were possible he would have done it the second he heard a bird in the trees.

He decides to pressure, trying to get it done as fast as possible. His breathing becomes faster, his heart pounding in panic as he zips back up and runs away, screaming when his ankle gets grabbed.

He trips, landing head first against a large trunk. His head spins, a cry of pain leaving his lips, feeling disgusting hands crawling over his body. Boney fingers that lift his shirt, before he passes out, limp from the hit.

°•●•°

"Jimin...?"

"Jimin!"

"Jimin wake up before I hit you with my bat!"

"That's my bat, hyung!"

"It's mine now Kookie!"

Jimin groans, turning and jolting. He gasps, shooting awake and feeling his shirt, sighing in relief when he still has it.

"T-there was a zombie!!" He screams, crawling back. "D-did I get bitten?! Do I have a bite?!"

"Nope." Jungkook smiles. "No bites."

"My back? My booty?"

"Why would be check your ass?" Seokjin gags. "I don't wanna see you butt."

"I was taking a leak and I felt this zombie at my shirt!"

Hoseok shakes his head. "I didn't see any bite. I think you're safe."

Jimin sighs in relief. "Thank God... I just need a moment..."

Hoseok nods, Seokjin taking a seat next to Jimin as he runs his hands through his hair.

"I carried you here." Seokjin mumbles. "You took to long. I came to look and I found you bleeding. There was a walker trying to get you but I hit it before it could sink his disgusting teeth into you. I may not like your attitude, but you're still my friend. We're in this together, you know..."

Jimin looks up at him, smiling. "I'm your friend?"

Seokjin nods. "Of course. You're funny and you laugh at my jokes. You're very caring and even though your attitude is something I can't stand, I still like you."

Jimin smiles, rubbing his head, feeling a bandage.

"I patched it too." Seokjin says. "I wanted to become a doctor, but I never made it through the education."

"Oh... Thank you." Jimin smiles.

Seokjin pats his back, smiling as well.

A friendship might still blossom.

°•●•°

A few hours later, Jimin sighs as he looks up at the moon. He needed a little time for himself.

He frowns. His back has been itching for hours. His throat has been hurting and his skin burning.

He looks down, his head starting to spin. But fear runs down his spine when he notices the veins in his hands pushing and pulsing against his skin. It pushes against his bones and flesh before becoming normal again, before a sick blue spreads, an unhealthy pink and green mixing in his skin.

He gulps, raising his sleeves. It goes up his arms. His muscles are starting to hurt, his throat burning like he's losing his voice.

"Jimin! Come on! We're going to sleep!"

Jimin feels tears in his eyes, biting his lip when he sees Hoseok peek his head up, smiling to get him inside.

But the older gasps at the sight.

"H-hyung... Where didn't you check?" Jimin asks, almost breaking down into tears.

Hoseok gulps. "We never checked where we didn't want to see..."

"YOU MEAN A ZOMBIE BIT MY ASS?!!"

Hoseok stays quiet, watching sick veins blossoming in Jimin's neck, going up his cheeks.

"Jimin... I... We can't..."

"I'm not going back inside." Jimin whimpers. "I understand, hyung. I'll run away. I won't eat you... I can never."

Hoseok smiles sadly at him. "It was nice having you with us... I'm sorry we never checked earlier."

"It happened. I'm sorry for not going back. I'm sorry for taking that break! This is all my fault!"

"Jimin, this is not your fault." Hoseok says. "I'll tell the others that you... got the unfortunate."

Jimin nods sadly, his eyes slowly becoming lighter. With a last sad smile, Hoseok rushes down the stairs and shuts the door from the train, leaving Jimin there, left to let out a rising growl.

A hungry one.

And with a sad frown, Hoseok explains what he saw to an almost crying Jungkook and a hopeless Seokjin.

°•●•°

"So... Where do you think they could be?" Namjoon asks softly. "It's been days..."

Yoongi shakes his head. The search started almost a week ago and not a trace of their beloved humans.

What if they were eaten?

None of them wanted to believe that.

There aren't a lot of walkers around here. Not in Gwangju.

Neither have they smelled any humans.

But when a panting walker stumbles by, there is suspicion rising.

The woman joining the group gasps at the face and immediately takes the boy in her arms.

Just in time, as the zombie almost faints in her arms.

"Jimin?! Jimin!"

The group stops for a moment as Taehyung kneels down, checking his pulse. He looks up at the woman.

"Barely. He needs flesh."

"But we haven't seen a human around." Yoongi says softly. "Who is he?"

The woman looks up at him. "My son."

Namjoon looks at the weak walker, who is clawing at his clothes, growling and groaning.

"Jimin, what happened? Can you hear me?"

The zombie only groans weakly, his lips forming a small smile.

"Mom..."

Yoongi kneels down with Taehyung, reaching for the boy's head. He has a dried patch of blood on his forehead.

"He's fine, he needs anything to keep him from going ballistic. Any blood or flesh or skin. Something to keep him sane."

As a response, Jimin lets out a loud hungry shriek, reaching to grab Taehyung's hair.

The zombie jerks his head away, giving him an annoyed growl, but Jimin replies with one of his own, his eyes barely keeping themselves open.

His mother hugs him close, just feeling how weak his muscles are when he simply lays there, hanging almost dead.

"I'll go and find something. You guys keep him sane." Yoongi says, quickly getting up and sprinting away, breaking down into every store and house there is to find, screaming in relief when he finds a human.

Yes the guy was almost fully devoured, but that never stopped anyone from eating.

Hell, having searched for hours without flesh has made him hungry as well. And probably also the other three.

He throws the human over his shoulder, the scent of his flesh only making his eyes grow wider with hunger.

Thankfully they left most of the head and torso. The head has always been Yoongi's favorite part to eat.

Quickly returning to the group, he can already see their hungry stares on him, even Jimin is growling for blood.

Yoongi holds the human close to him, growling to say it's his, but Jimin swaying head makes him refuse to even release those words.

He drops the body in their middle, hungrily growling for them all to eat, whilst Yoongi rips a large piece of the torso, including flesh, and offers it to Jimin, who wastes no time to set his teeth into the human meat and tear it to shreds, groaning for another piece.

Yoongi gives it to him, sharing with himself this time. If he had nothing he would become insane.

Jimin pants, piece by piece the human gets torn apart and fed to him, until he sits up for himself to reach out for the brain.

Taehyung stops him and shakes his head. "No. Don't. This guy has been dead for a while, that brain doesn't taste good anymore."

Jimin nods, retreating his hand to the heart, uneaten and not beating.

He feels the soft flesh sinking against his fingers, how the blood drips all over his arm and how he can feel the inside by squeezing just a little.

Growling, he attacks the piece, ripping it apart and swallowing it whole. The soft texture melts in his mouth with the warm blood on his tongue, each room tasting a bit different, but hollow and full of blood. It's almost a big donut with filling.

"It's good..."

Jimin looks up, smiling widely when his sight is finally clear. Those loving eyes of his mother are staring back at him. He quickly engulfs her in a hug, just happy to see someone familiar.

"You wouldn't have seen a few humans by any chance, did you?" Namjoon asks. "We're looking for our partners."

"And brother." Taehyung interrupts him. "Please tell me you saw my brother! His name is Jungkook and he's a black-haired immature little tease who is too shy and nice for his own good and--"

"Likes to play video games? Yeah..." Jimin smiles. "He wears the earring with Little." He says softly, reaching out to the golden ring around the shell of his ear, with the Chinese symbol Brother. "So then you must be Taehyung..."

A small tear wells in Taehyung's eye as he nods at his name. "Where is he? I have to know if he's safe."

"I was with him for a long time." Jimin says, sitting up. "He misses you a lot. We were a small group but not yet dead. Almost a quattro survivor squad."

"Quattro?"

Jimin nods. "Me, Jungkook, Seokjin, and Hoseok."

Namjoon and Yoongi's heads both shoot up at the names.

"Hoseok?!"

"Seokjin?!"

Nodding, Jimin smiles. "They told me a lot about you." He looks down at their hands for a moment, then looking into Namjoon's anticipating eyes.

"Does he miss me? Does he still love me?" Namjoon asks, fiddling with his fingers.

"He can't stop bragging about you. When there is even a bit of silence, he starts renaming conversations you had, tells us stories about you, and even shared us your wedding. He told me he loves you, no matter how disgusting you may look."

Namjoon lets go of a breath he didn't know he held, sinking his head into his hands, he laughs softly, Taehyung patting his back, knowing how he feels.

"And Hoseok?" Yoongi asks. "How is he?"

"He..." Jimin pauses.

Does Yoongi know of Hoseok's feelings towards him? If not, should he still tell him? What if this makes the search a turnaround?

"He misses you a lot." Jimin says softly. "He says that he wants to be the leader because you always were for him, and now he needs to be there for others like you did. You were his big brother and best friend, and maybe even more than that to him. At night, I sometimes heard him crying over how he misses you, how he would simply just want to hold you. He was an open, respectful person."

Yoongi smiles. "He is... Always will be." He takes a moment to let the words sink in, before he looks back at him. "Something more than best friends?"

Jimin nods. "When we spilled secrets about who we lost... He told us he had a best friend, but he feels more for him. It's like it's there, but never confirmed to the next stage of a relationship."

Yoongi sighs and nods. "Yeah..." He smiles. "Than we need to find them quickly before someone else gets a bite of him."

Jimin nods as well, as does Taehyung and Namjoon.

"Jimin, will you come back home?" His mother asks, still holding his hand.

Jimin nods. "I will. I'm coming with you. The last time I saw them was at the train station. They were planning on heading somewhere, but I don't know where. They might still be in one of the trains."

Taehyung smiles at him. "Thank you. Really. If we can ever repay you, just tell us and we'll do it."

"You already kept me alive and sane." Jimin says. "I think that's more than enough."

Yoongi nods. "Come on. We need to hurry before they actually do go somewhere."

Namjoon gets up, quickly brushing his clothes clean before Taehyung pulls at his arm.

With a final wave to Jimin, the walkers sprint to the train station, hoping for them to still be at place.

°•●•°

Jungkook is shivering. The train is cold and no blanket is available. All they have is their bags but those aren't big enough to hold them warm.

He's curled up against Hoseok, who cuddles him warm. He feels bad for the kid. He's still so young.

A loud bang against a train makes both of them yelp and flinch, whilst a sleeping Seokjin jumps up with a scream.

The reply is a zombie groan, and immediately fear washes over the humans.

The banging comes closer, and every time Seokjin clamps his mouth shut with his hand.

That is, until the banging on their train makes Seokjin squeak.

Hoseok glares at him, telling him to stay quiet.

Seokjin feels tears in his eyes when the banging starts again, much louder this time.

He crawls closer to the other two, quickly finding himself in Hoseok's arms. He knows it's best to stay quiet.

Hoseok's eyes widen and he covers Jungkook's eyes, who's shivering in tears as well.

They're trying to break open the door.

Hoseok knows that they will be able to do it. Zombies may still be human, but they're much stronger and have killer instincts.

With every hit the door becomes less stable, and with a scared scream, the metal is pulling from its place, thrown back and away against another train.

Hoseok looks up, gasping at the zombies. A familiar black-haired stares back at him with just as much shock and relief as he is staring back.

"Yoongi?"

The zombie grumbles a grunt, his lips turning into a smile.

Slowly, Jungkook peeks from Hoseok's fingers, gasping when he sees his older brother, smiling at his face.

The boy wastes no time to jump from Hoseok's grip and into the zombie's arms, not caring about their monstrous looks and smells.

Taehyung hugs his younger brother tightly, almost crying at seeing his baby brother again after months of being separated.

"God- Kookie! Never leave me alone again!" Taehyung whimpers.

Its just too bad that all that Jungkook hears is grunting and growling, groans and whines. He wants to understand his brother.

Yoongi steps inside the train with a smile, taking a seat in front of Hoseok, who is still staring at him.

Seokjin whimpers and crawls even closer, but his eyes grow wide when another face peeks inside, the cheeks a light hint of blue.

"Namjoon?!"

The walker smiles shyly and nods, knowing he's better of not saying a word.

"How did you find us?"

Namjoon points at Yoongi and Taehyung with a smile, taking a cross-legged seat next to Yoongi.

Seokjin slowly takes distance from Hoseok, shuffling closer to his husband. He looks down, seeing the silver wedding ring still on Namjoon's finger. It's a bit dirty, but still there.

Smiling, he grabs the zombie's hands. "I'm glad you found me..."

At that, Namjoon smiles. He may be wounded, bloodied and sick, but he can still love his husband. And he always has from the moment he told him to run.

"Can I... Can I kiss you without you biting my brains out?" Seokjin asks softly, scooting just a little closer.

Namjoon snorts, chuckling and nodding. He ate a while ago. As another answer, he leans in and kisses his husband, sweetly and gently.

Seokjin immediately melts into his touch, finding the feeling of the butterflies still the same. What could a different exterior do to his beloved husband? Nothing. Because he still loves him.

"So... This boy, Jimin." Yoongi mumbles, trying his best Korean. It's messy, but Hoseok's weak smile lets him know he understands. "He told me you are in love with me."

Immediately Hoseok's smile fades, red dusting his cheeks. He simply nods.

Yoongi smiles and jumps forward, having Hoseok squeak, thinking he might be gone, but instead, hands grab his cheeks and lips hit his own.

Yoongi is kissing him.

Yoongi is kissing him...

Yoongi... is... kissing him.

It takes a moment for Hoseok to understand what is happening before it hits him, eyes widening and looking at Yoongi's closed eyes, which slowly open as their lips part.

A smirk crawls on the older's face as their foreheads touch, seeing how Hoseok's face burns in red.

"I've loved you for a while..." Hoseok blurts out. "But we never really got it on..."

Yoongi nods. "But now we can."

"But you're...--"

"A zombie. I know. I need to feed and so do the others. Over time I'll forget my Korean... I won't be able to talk to you anymore. I can barely remember situations what to say..." Yoongi mumbles. "We can't be together as human and zombie, it's simply not possible and unsafe. It's your decision. It's too late for me to go back."

Hoseok frowns, and Seokjin does too. He heard it as well and knows it's true. His husband is a zombie. But he can't spend his life without him.

The fact that Namjoon isn't saying anything already gives him the knowledge that he forgot his Korean speech.

Hoseok sighs and nods. "I know... What is life like as a zombie?"

"Not too bad." Taehyung mumbles in a half-grunt.

Namjoon nods, agreeing.

"We're a community. Just like humans. We just eat differently and we have cravings. But we're normal. We talk differently, we live a little different... But we're the same. Jimin is also still the same and he misses all of you... We went to look for you because we missed you. And we love you."

Hoseok smiles at that answer.

Jungkook looks up at his older brother who smiles softly.

"Your choice." He says.

Jungkook hits his shoulder, tears rolling down his cheek. "Don't you ever leave me again! Just bite me!"

"You sure?"

"Do it hyung! Please!" Jungkook whimpers, burying his head in Taehyung's neck.

With a soft smile, Taehyung raises his brother's arm and rolls the sleeves up a bit. He looks at the trembling Kookie, before sinking his teeth into his skin and drawing blood. The moment he feels the skin pulling and bleeding, he pulls away, the mark already infected with red veins pulsing.

"Easy..." Taehyung mumbles. "Calm."

Jungkook nods, being exposed to the open air has a lot more consequences...

Jolting, weakly losing his muscle, Taehyung holds his little brother up, feeling his body weaken.

Blue, purple, red, and green, sicken his skin, going up the bite and down. His hand, his arm, to his neck and the rest of his body. Blossoming his cheeks before the infection hits his brain.

A growl rips from his throat, his hands pulling at his brother's skin as his doe eyes of sadness are quickly becoming wider with hunger.

His pupils and iris are so small that they could be mistaken for a dot, growling and groaning, clawing at everything he sees.

Taehyung lets him, knowing the pain.

But when Jungkook's pained groaning stops, the hunger turns to starvation.

The young boy, turning around to the two remaining humans, letting out a hungry shriek as he lunges for them both, wanting their flesh to melt in his mouth.

Namjoon quickly takes his wrist and pulls him back, shouting and scolding him in groans and grunts.

The sounds shock Seokjin. Having never heard his husband like this... He saved him...

Jungkook merely huffs after Namjoon's lecture and grunts something before stumbling back to his older brother, who takes him into a hug.

"Yoongi hyung..." Hoseok asks softly. "Where would you like to bite me?"

Yoongi looks shocked for a second, but then points at his neck. "Soft and tender... Feels nice around the mouth. It's like a hickey."

Hoseok lowers the collar of his shirt, leaning his head back. "Bite in then."

Smiling, Yoongi slowly takes his shoulders, licking over the spot he wants to bite before actually biting harshly into his skin. It draws a scream out of his mouth.

Seokjin gulps, watching Yoongi comfort a twitching and jolting Hoseok, a little disgusted at the drool that's dripping from his mouth.

Namjoon looks at Seokjin expectantly before the older nods.

"Where do you want to bite?"

Namjoon points at his lip, licking his own.

He wastes no time to place a heated kiss on his husband's lips. Deep and passionate before biting his lip harshly, having Seokjin squeak and pull away.

He can taste the blood in his mouth. He's going to turn...

Namjoon hears his heartbeat increase. He smiles at his husband, holding his hands. Seokjin looks up at him with big eyes full of fear, crawling closer until he's against Namjoon's chest, pulling his arms around him.

"Comfort me..." He mumbles.

Namjoon quickly feels Seokjin jolt, a scream coming from him as his mark begins to burn. He wraps his arms tighter around his husband, mumbling sweet words, knowing he'll understand soon.

Jungkook is cuddling his brother, who is quickly explaining him that he must control his hunger if he wants to survive within a world like theirs.

The younger listens, nods, and grunts an apology.

Soon enough, Hoseok is growling, whining about bring hungry when he just had bread.

Yoongi bursts into laughter at his whining, hugging him tightly before pressing another kiss against his lips.

"You're still beautiful."

Hoseok smiles at him, the sickening blue on his cheeks making Yoongi smile.

They turn to look at the last pair, of which Namjoon is still hugging a trembling Seokjin. Veins blossoming in blue and uncontrollable groaning and grunting.

"I'm hungry!" Hoseok whines to the older zombie. "Hyung, when are we eating? Do you have noodles?"

To his surprise, Yoongi nods. "We've made some known food made of flesh and organs."

Seokjin shoots up with big eyes, licking his lips. Namjoon still holds his hand, smiling.

"Seokjin? I'm not trying to be rude to you, but how did you survive as long as you did?" Namjoon asks softly.

His husband frowns at him. "A frying pan works fine against zombies." He grumbles. "It worked against you too."

"I came home from work late! I told you it was overnight!"

"You left a voicemail!"

"You were at the hairsalon, honey, I'm not allowed to call at work, you know that." Namjoon chuckles.

Sighing, Seokjin fails to fight a smile and pecks his husband's lips. "Fine... But don't you dare lie to me again or stay too late. If anything, you need to be with me at all times now. I might just eat you up."

"Of course." Namjoon smirks. "But who's been in this mess longer?"

"I have." Taehyung interrupts. "Now come on. Kookie is about to lose his mind if he won't feed soon."

Hoseok looks up at Yoongi. "I'm hungry too."

Yoongi sighs. "I heard you the first seventeen times." He mumbles, pulling him up. "Come on. Let's go find someone."

Seokjin quickly jumps up and pulls his husband up as well, whining for them to hurry before he eats them.

Chuckling, all the walkers go to look for their food, just happy that they are all together again and will be for many more years.
