"It's not what you think!"
[\|<>|/]
Hoseok smiled as he watched his boyfriend sleep. He was always tired at day. It only made sense he'd be tired. Being a 'maid' in a night-cafe is tiring and needs energy.
Hoseok always loved how whiny Yoongi was when he'd wake up. It was currently 6 AM, Yoongi just came back from Yaburama. A Japanese club for gay men. Yes, Yoongi was Korean, but he was cute so no one had a problem with it.
Yoongi had trouble finding work. An employee came up to him once and asked if he was interested in a job like that. Hoseok refused at first, not liking it when other's looked at what was his. After Yoongi's begging, Hoseok finally agreed.
Yoongi was one of the least liked maids there. Mostly because he was snappy and rude. Other men found it cute and a challenge to be served by this specific maid.
Last night was no different. And after Yoongi's sleep, he woke up grumpily as always. A smile found its way to his face when he saw Hoseok's sleepy face.
Hoseok was adapting to his new sleep schedule. He wanted to be home when Yoongi came back and woke up. He worked at night instead of day, just to see Yoongi.
"Morning baby." Hoseok mumbled with a smile, moving strands of bed hair from Yoongi's face. "Morning." Yoongi groaned. "I don't wanna go to work!" He whined immediately.
Hoseok chuckled. "I'm working too. We need to get money. It's all the world's about." "Sadly." Yoongi sighed. "Do you want me to come over tonight?" Hoseok asked. "Would you do that?" Yoongi asked, his eyes wide with happiness. Hoseok nodded. "I'd want to be served by you."
Yoongi flushed red, giggling shyly. "I'd like that..." Hoseok smiled. "I've never seen you in a maid outfit actually. Is it comfortable?" Yoongi shook his head. "It's revealing and it's itchy..." Hoseok bit his lip. "Aw, baby."
Hoseok wrapped his arms around Yoongi's waist, pecking his lips. "Don't go soft on those men. Only go soft on me." Yoongi nodded. "I'm Min Yoongi, no one sees my soft side except for my one and only."
Hoseok chuckled. "I love you, sweetheart. Stay safe, alright?" Yoongi nodded. "I love you too, Sunshine."
Half an hour later Yoongi had to get out of bed. He showered and brushed his teeth, did his skin-care-routine, and grabbed his bag.
He gave an almost sleeping Hoseok a deep loving kiss before whispering a soft bye and left the apartment.
Yoongi never had breakfast at night. He didn't need it. At least a few of the customers asked for a private service or a theme-maid.
Of course, Yoongi was the vampire theme. Why would it be different?
Yoongi took the opportunity to flirt and bite into his unsuspecting preys, coming up with the excuse of them leaving and tipping him. He just took their wallets.
It was only lucky to be chosen. Not many men were exactly... excited to be served by a vampire maid, continuously asked to suck their blood. But some liked it.
"Hello, Yoongi."
"Taehyung..." Yoongi mumbled. "Got enough sleep?" Taehyung asked. "You look dead." No kidding. Yoongi rolled his eyes at him. "I woke up early." He replied. "An hour or two ago."
Taehyung sighed. "My husband's coming over tonight! He even set an alarm to stay awake so he can see me work." He sighed deeply. "Best husband I could ask for."
"Your husband is a fucking police officer, don't say he never has time for you." Yoongi spat. Taehyung looked at him with a pout. "I didn't say that. He usually spends his time in the police car or undercover." He mumbled.
Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Thank you for the information, captain obvious." Taehyung sighed. "Clearly not enough sleep..." He mumbled, before walking away and grabbing his outfit from the closet with his name.
Yoongi did the same. There were exactly three outfits in his closet. His regular maid outfit. A black dress, white apron, and a red satin bowtie around his waist and a black choker to make it even more... kawaii, as those who owned it would say.
There was his vampire-themed outfit. Which was a black dress. It came until his knees and was skin-tight, hugging his body shape. It was also sparkly. Something Yoongi would assume was a stupid reference to another vampire movie. His boots were heels, black heels and a pantie that was barely hiding his pale skin.
There were fake fangs and contact lenses, but Yoongi never used them. He had his very own beautiful pair.
And lastly, his schoolgirl. He'd usually play the bad girl so he wouldn't have to act differently. It was a school uniform, blue skirt, brown jacket and grey t-shirt with the club's logo on it. His hair would be pinned with a skull clip, perfectly matching his recently silver dyed hair.
They came with high platform sneakers with high knee socks and many bracelets and fake piercings and earrings.
Yoongi despised that outfit the most. It was revealing and every time he put it on he felt like some girl trying to get hooked.
There was one major rule in the club.
Don't touch the maids inappropriately.
And Yoongi had many preys because of it.
He put his usual maid outfit on, applied a light shade of make-up like he does every night and sighed, grabbing the notepad and pen, waiting for someone to walk inside.
He greeted the customers that came in, asking them if they'd like something to drink, or be served by a specific maid.
Lucky for Yoongi, many didn't choose the specific one. He was in charge of the shows, personal maids and firs round of orders until 12 AM.
And then his luck spiraled downwards.
When one of the customers said he'd have a specific maid, Yoongi mentally sighed. "Please choose a maid from the card to your right."
"I want you to serve me."
The man had a perverted grin on his face, and Yoongi knew what he was in for. A disgusting meal.
"Is there any theme you'd like?" Yoongi asked, trying his best not to spit at the man. "I'd like the schoolgirl one. See how desperate you really are."
Yoongi frowned, stepping away and turning to the manager. He promised not to attack in front of others. There was no way he'd let this go by.
"Jimin? Sir?" Yoongi asked. Jimin looked up at him. "Yoongi? What's wrong?" "One of the customers might be trying to fuck me tonight." Yoongi growled.
Jimin frowned and stood up. "What did he say to you?" "See how desperate I really am in that stupid school girl outfit." Yoongi hissed.
Jimin nodded slightly. He knew of Yoongi's origin. He was fine with having a few customers gone, especially if they treated him wrong. "Show me who."
Yoongi returned to the table, where the man with the sickening grin began to whistle once Jimin came in view.
"Sir. I'm going to have to ask you to leave my cafe." Jimin growled lowly. The man raised an eyebrow. "And why's that, pretty boy?"
"I am not one of the maids. I'm the owner. If you have read the rules, inappropriate conversations and or actions will be punished by one of our maids themselves or by me. Please leave my cafe and don't return." Jimin spat.
The man frowned. "And what makes you think you have such power over me?" Jimin smirked and snapped his fingers.
The two men who were the only ones dressed like men and owned by this club, except for Jimin, turned towards the sound, their eyes flashing a bright gold before walking towards their boss in big steps.
"Sir." The tallest growled. "Throw him out, will you, Namjoon?" Jimin smirked. "And Seokjin, please make sure he stays away." The second nodded as Namjoon threw the whining and cursing man on his shoulder, mercilessly and unbothered walking towards the back exit.
Seokjin's eyes never turned back to their brown color. Canine-fangs falling over his bottom lip. Yoongi knew the man was in for a hell and sickening ride.
"Thank you for telling me this Yoongi." Yoongi just nodded. "You know we don't tolerate this behavior, right?" Yoongi nodded again. "Do you need anything?" Yoongi shook his head. "My boyfriend might be coming by today. If he is, send him to my showroom. It might be more comfortable for him." Jimin nodded. "I will, Yoongi."
Yoongi nodded and continued to serve, as he was expected to do. And of course once again someone asked for a private maid. Him, once again. This man was nice though.
He smiled a lot and treated Yoongi as if he was one of the customers. Yoongi liked him. Luckily it wasn't the schoolgirl one. This man had a dark imagination. He wanted the vampire one.
Yoongi sighed as he went into the changing room once again, changing his clothes and doing a darker style of make-up. He hissed to himself as he felt his fangs poke into his bottom lip, his eyes red with the color of his own blood, his ears slightly pointy and his nails sharp, ready to cut off the skin he didn't need.
He pushed his bloodthirst to the back of his head, going to the reserved room, where he bowed for the customer. "I hope this is to your liking."
The man smiled. "Whatever you're okay with." Yoongi returned a soft smile. "Well then." Yoongi licked his lips, flashing his sharp fangs at him. "Where's my meal?"
Hoseok yawned slightly, smiling as he approached the cafe. He waved at a few of the maids, asking them where Yoongi was. He smiled when the owner walked up to him.
"My name is Park Jimin. You must be Yoongi's boyfriend?" "Yes, I am." Hoseok said proudly. "Where is he?" Jimin smiled. "Yoongi asked me to bring you to his showroom, please wait there for him. If I'm right he currently has a private customer."
Hoseok frowned. He didn't like those words. He followed Jimin, who opened the door, and closed it once Hoseok was inside.
He widened his eyes, his breathing hitched and his voice stuck in his throat. "B-baby...?"
Yoongi shot up from the body, his eyes wide of fear at Hoseok's voice. "S-Sunshine! It's not what you think!"
Hoseok backed away. "I'm pretty sure I know what it is!" He yelled. "How long were you going to hide this from me?" He mumbled.
Yoongi looks down and gulps the blood down his throat. "I... I wasn't going to tell you." Hoseok frowned. "I'm your boyfriend! I should at least know about this!" Yoongi didn't reply.
"I don't want you hurting innocent humans anymore." Hoseok growled. "They've done nothing to deserve to be sucked empty by you." Yoongi looked up at him in shock. "B-but-"
"Did I stutter?" Hoseok snarled. Yoongi shook his head. "No..." "Than listen to me, please. Don't hurt any more humans..." Yoongi nodded sadly. "I won't hurt anyone anymore... I'm sorry."
Hoseok caressed Yoongi's cheeks, wiping the blood off his lips. "I still love you. Just... You should have told me." Yoongi nodded. "I know..." Hoseok pushed Yoongi's head up to look at him. "I still love you, my Suga." Yoongi smiled at him. "Even if I'm this monster?" "I don't see a monster. I see a beauty." Hoseok said smiling, pressing their lips together.
Yoongi immediately kissed back, smiling at him. "I won't bite humans anymore. No one... for you, Sunshine." "Thank you, baby." Hoseok smiled.
He finally eyed Yoongi up and down, biting his lip. "You look very beautiful in a dress. Why don't you ever wear one at home?" Yoongi pouted. "I kinda don't like wearing them. But they feel comfortable."
Hoseok smiled. "Let's go home." Yoongi smiled and nodded. "I won't drink your blood either." "I hope not, it's already as scary as it is." He chuckled.
Yoongi, as promised, didn't drink blood. Not from anyone. Even though he needed it to stay healthy and strong, he could survive without it. He'd only get sick.
Hoseok asked Yoongi not to hide his true form. Yoongi was relieved to hear it. Even with fangs, slightly pointy ears, and red eyes, Hoseok found Yoongi the most adorable vampire he'd ever seen.
He was also the only vampire he's ever seen.
But it was only too good to last.
"Fucking Hell! Again?!" Hoseok yelled angrily. Yoongi frowned. "What is it?" "You left your clothes all over the bathroom floor! Again!" Hoseok yelled.
Yoongi scowled and huffed. "That's what this is about? I'm sorry that I keep forgetting what basket for which kind of laundry is!" He yelled back.
"You know I hate it when it's all spread out like this! There's nowhere to walk!" Hoseok snarled. "On it!" Yoongi snapped.
Yoongi hissed lowly, his fangs aching to sink into his skin to remind him of what he was. He showed his fangs threateningly, an act of dominance. Hoseok was unfazed by this. "Don't think I'm wetting all your dry clothes when I'm getting out of the shower. For an immortal being, I figured you were more responsible."
Yoongi hissed loudly. "I died before I turned!" "And so you should know how to clean your clothes!" "Fuck you!" Yoongi yelled, tears brimming in his eyes. "Fuck you..." He sniffled, wiping his slowly falling tears away.
He turned away, stomping to their shared room. Hoseok widened his eyes sadly. "Baby, Suga..." Yoongi turned his head to him, hissing lowly. "Don't even try to reason with me." He snarled.
Hoseok grabbed his shoulder. "Sweetheart..." Yoongi frowned. "I died, Hoseok. I died. I crawled myself out of my grave and lived on my own for centuries. When you came in my life... I hoped you were different..." He sniffled.
Hoseok's heart shattered. "Yoongi..." Yoongi shook his head. "Baby, what can I do to make you feel better? I'm sorry for hurting you. Please, forgive me..."
Yoongi gulped his sobs away. "I haven't been drinking for over two months, Hoseok. I did that for you."
Without hesitation, Hoseok tilted his head and pulled his T-shirt down. "Then drink from me." He said softly. "Please Yoongi. If it makes you forgive me, then drink from me."
Yoongi gulped, staring at Hoseok's neck. "Is it... really okay?" Hoseok nodded. "Drink from me."
Yoongi hesitantly leaned into Hoseok's neck, inhaling sharply. His thirst could finally be stilled. He took one more glance at Hoseok before licking over his skin and sinking his fangs through the epidermis, moaning of satisfaction when blood leaked from the wound.
Hoseok gasped loudly, wincing in pain, tears brimming in his eyes. He could feel Yoongi sucking at his skin to get more blood from his veins.
Soft sobs and painful cries left his lips, tears leaking from his cheeks. Yoongi quickly retreated his fangs, making sure not to take too much.
"Hoseok..." Yoongi wiped Hoseok's tears with his thumb, not liking the way how sad his boyfriend looked. "I'm sorry..."
Hoseok shook his head. "Is your thirst stilled?" He asked. Yoongi shrugged. "It might come back soon. I really don't know." Hoseok frowned. "What can I do, Yoongi. Tell me..."
Yoongi looked up at him. "The only way to understand is to be one of my kind, Hoseok. I don't want you to be cursed with such a burden."
Hoseok huffed and pulled his shirt off. "I want to understand my boyfriend. I must understand. What will that wedding ring do for good if I can't even understand you?" He chuckled.
Yoongi looked up with wide eyes. "Wedding ring...?" Hoseok smiled and nodded, reaching into the pocket of his jeans. "I was thinking about taking you out tonight, but since the surprise is spoiled..."
Yoongi didn't let Hoseok continue, pressing his lips roughly onto Hoseok's own, jumping into his arms. "Shut up... Shut up and marry me."
Hoseok quickly kissed back, holding Yoongi tightly in his arms. "Turn me into one of your kind Yoongi. Please."
Yoongi smiled and pressed his lips against his own wrist, cutting through his skin to feel his own cold blood flow off his fangs onto his lips. "Drink it. The more you take the less painful the transformation will be."
Hoseok smiled, licking the blood off Yoongi's wrist and sucking on the open flesh to get more.
His mind went black for a split moment, his body tingling with a cold rush. He began to gnaw and bite at Yoongi's wrist, causing the vampire to whine and pull away. "Sunshine!"
Hoseok panted, his neck twitched slightly. Yoongi was breathlessly watching as Hoseok's eyes became white, his very own blood filling the iris' color.
A hesitant hiss erupted from Hoseok's throat, the sound unfamiliar to his vocal cords. It sounded raspy and low. Yoongi parted Hoseok's lips, smiling at his growing fangs.
Another hiss slipped from Hoseok's lips, this one dark and deep, a low rumbling growl remaining in his throat.
"Fangs hurt, don't they?" Yoongi asked, smiling slightly. "I wasn't alive when I got turned. I was dead in my coffin, the vampire smirked at me when I opened my eyes, and the first thing I saw was the coffin being slammed closed. I crawled my way out, through the dirt and the rain. I never thought I'd meet someone as special as you, Sunshine."
Hoseok managed to form a smile. "Even though my fangs are aching, and I may be light-headed, I love you, Yoongi." "I love you too, Hoseok." Yoongi smiled, pressing their lips together.
"Now here's the important question." Yoongi chuckled. "What's our last name going to be?" Hoseok chuckled. "I proposed, it's mine. Jung Yoongi sounds good." "And Min Hoseok?" Yoongi pouted.
Hoseok chuckled, flicking his tongue across his fangs. "Will you hunt with me?" He asked softly. Yoongi nodded. "But we'll marry... right?" Hoseok nodded happily. "Of course, give me your ring finger."
Yoongi's gummy smile couldn't become wider when Hoseok slipped the black diamond ring around his finger.
After centuries of being alone, Yoongi was finally going to spend eternity with someone he loved. Forever.
