[|The Day I Dreamed Of|JinKook|]

"MY LIFE WAS PERFECT!"

[\|<>|/]

"Prince Jungkook..."

"No."

"But-"

"I don't want to marry her!" Jungkook snarls. "She hoes around with everyone!"

"But she is royal bloodline..."

"I can make someone royal bloodline. Do you know who I am?! I'd rather marry that elf prince than her! Her ugly zombie face isn't worth my throne." Jungkook yells angrily, fangs long and sharp as he threatens to his royal adviser.

"I understand..." He speaks softly. "I'll go and report it to Rith immediately."

"You better. Then you do something useful."

The vampire prince is ruthless, cold and heartless. Quite literally. He gave his heart away. It was the stupidest mistake of his life.

The zombie who now has his heart is head over heels for him, even though she fucks every good and bad pair of legs.

Jungkook needs someone obedient and wise. Someone smart and independent. Someone who knows what he needs and will gladly give it to him, no matter the costs.

Someone... weak. Who he can outshine in power.

He smirks at the thought of a man or woman by his side. He imagines them almost as ambitious as him, shivering in fear when he's angry, laughing with him when he's hurting someone innocent, carrying his heir with pride.

He might be curious for the next desperate vampire to walk up to him and bow down to him, begging him to marry them.

Seokjin sighs dreamily as he reads, a soft breeze running through his hair. He may have a strange style for a prince. Especially for an elf.

He reads a book, written by a vampire, about the zombies.

"Seokjin hyung." His younger brother whines. "Put that horrible thing down and come out with us. The kids miss you."

Seokjin frowns slightly. "But I like this book. It brings me joy."

"Well, father doesn't like it. Please just... behave normally again before he dies. We don't want a... freak at our throne."

"Yoongi. I am not a freak. I just enjoy things like this."

"I hear you jerking off moaning that Jungkook guy's name." Yoongi snarls. "That's irresponsible and inappropriate."

Seokjin's frown turns into frustration, slowly closing the book and standing up. He towers over his younger brother, eyes green with a hint of anger. "I am allowed to do as I please." He growls. "If prince Jungkook is the man I want, then you will not act differently on how you want that little werewolf. Taehyung, wasn't it?"

Yoongi's face flushes red, denying his words before Seokjin leaves with a smile, as if nothing happened.

Yoongi immediately grabs the book and rips it apart, burning it with his eyes and leaving nothing but ashes and dust. His brother will not become like their mother once was.

But when Seokjin returns, and he sees the state his book is in, he's furious. No... He's enraged.

His power is growing out of control as vines with thorns and white roses cover his entire room, closing him off from the rest of his family, staying with the ashes of his book for days.

Yoongi can't burn his brother's vines. He just sees him there, rocking his body back and forth in a desperate attempt to fix the book with a power only the dead have, but those spirits have been extinct for decades.

Seokjin screams, hurting himself at his own thorns as he slams around himself, arms flailing in every way as he pulls at his hair and rolls around on the floor.

That book was the only thing that kept him satisfied. He hates kids. He hates happiness. He hates this elf life.

He hates Yoongi...

Slowly, the vines pull back, Seokjin angrier than ever before. No one, not even Seokjin knew he was capable of such a thing.

When Yoongi carefully enters the room, he's immediately pressed against the walls by vines, thorns stabbing into his sensitive skin as Seokjin glows with rage.

"You..."

His voice is deeper, and so much scarier than before. It echoes and darkens with every word. Speaking to Yoongi with venomous eyes.

"You did this... You'll pay for something so great, so beautiful, so satisfying..."

Yoongi gasps for air when a particularly thick vine wraps around hid throat and chest, tightening.

He's about to collapse, when his brother begins to glow. Seokjin hovers in the air, eyes a deep green and he looks like someone you'd see in movies out of control. But this is real...

Seokjin's hair flows with the spiritual energy, and his hands are balled tightly into fists. The vines tighten again, and Yoongi chokes, feeling the thorns stab in his skin.

"My life is nothing now because of you."

"H-hyu-ng..."

"MY LIFE WAS PERFECT!"

"P-please..."

"You must pay for it. To be punished. I'll forgive you, only if you give up your own life for me."

Yoongi hears him scoff, eyesight starting to blur, blood dripping out of his mouth.

"You have no choice anyway."

And with that, the vine around Yoongi's neck snaps his throat, and the youngest prince is numbly bleeding in Seokjin's vines.

Yoongi died.

Seokjin sighs in relief, but it's not enough. He slowly lands back on the ground, letting the vines pull back and leave Yoongi to bleed out. What a magnificent sight...

He leaves the castle, taking a walk into the nature of his kingdom. He walks for hours and hours, finally coming to the delightful scent of the kingdom he always wishes to be.

He trespasses the border, and immediately, he feels more at home. He belongs here...

He makes his way to the castle near, and enters it, scoffing at how easily the guards bow for him.

Jungkook looks up from his work when the door slams open, revealing his older brother and younger sister.

"Prince Seokjin has come to see you."

"He's very angry..."

Jungkook raises an eyebrow but nods. "Thank you Namjoon, Soujin."

They nod and leave. Namjoon, being the older brother, should be king. But he's married to the king of the demons, Hoseok. That makes Jungkook next in line.

"Prince Seokjin." Jungkook says with a grin at the sight of the older's heaving chest. He doesn't look angry. He looks upset and troubled.

"Why are you here?" Jungkook asks.

Seokjin's eyes are wide, and a smile replaces his frown. "Baby, I thought you would refuse me."

"Baby?"

"Yes?"

Jungkook frowns. "Why so mysterious suddenly, Seokjin?"

"I killed my brother." Seokjin says, he giggles.

Jungkook's eyes grow wide, mouth falling agape in shock. The prince of the elves... killing? His brother?

This must be a joke.

Jungkook scoffs and begins to laugh. It's loud and dark, making Seokjin frown.

"What's so funny?"

Jungkook takes a second glance at the prince, but when sees his unfazed face. Nothing but perfection.

"You're... serious?"

"Of course I am. I wanted to."

Seokjin is slightly confused by Jungkook's shock. There isn't any amusement found in his gaze as his red eyes just observe him. Seokjin wonders if it is because of his looks or because he was afraid to look him in the eyes.

In fact, Jungkook wasn't scared. It's a normal thing, for him at least, to want to hurt something. But that the prince of the elves would do such a thing did leave him baffled. And his own brother...

The situation was slowly getting tens, more stressful. Seokjin starts to get nervous, wondering if the kill was a slip-up... So he came with a lie.

"My father doesn't want me in the kingdom anymore... He says I could be a danger to everyone. My first thought was you. I hoped you would lend me a place to stay..." He says softly.

Jungkook sighs deeply and runs a hand through his hair. He pinches the bridge of his nose, thinking deeply.

If Seokjin were to stay with him, what good would he do? He could be just as well when knocking at the werewolves' doors.

On the other side, Seokjin is handsome and experienced. He's almost just as old as Jungkook and he's a kind-hearted man with a curious snake under his skin.

That snake could also be a problem though. What if the prince decides to dig through his files, finding his personal notes and important files for the economics and alliances? He would be in so much trouble...

He looks at Seokjin again. There is desperation in his eyes, begging the crown-prince for a place.

Jungkook takes a deep breath. "Answer me this. Why this kingdom?"

Seokjin tilts his head. "What do you mean?"

"You can go everywhere. Shoya, Geju, Pia. Yet you choose this place. Why?" Jungkook asks. His voice is cold as ice and as hard as steel, unfazed by Seokjin's mocking laugh.

"Because it was close?" He replies with a giggle.

"You're a terrible liar, Seokjin."

"I know."

"Than why are you really here?" Jungkook snarls, baring his fangs in an instinct reaction, showing dominance.

Seokjin doesn't do anything back, letting Jungkook know he has control of the situation at hand. It honestly pleases the vampire prince.

This is what he wanted. Someone obedient, maybe even submissive. Of course he would give his partner a little power, but he still wants to control the strings. He wants to be the puppet master.

Seokjin smiles. It's far from kind and friendly. It's dark and mischievous, full of trouble and evil. "Because I heard you were still looking for a queen."

Jungkook looks up at him with a suspicious frown. "What are you implying?"

"I could be that someone."

"No."

"Give me one reason why not."

"You're not a vampire. Not dark enough."

"Does my brother's death prove differently?"

God, that smirk. Jungkook wants to slap it off his pretty face. Seokjin is right. He can't find anything why Seokjin shouldn't be the one to marry him.

"Fine." He spits. "I'll think about it. Just... keep yourself calm and mannered while you're in my castle."

"But of course, darling."

Jungkook hisses at him, growling in frustration at the nicknames. "Know your place, Seokjin."

Seokjin smirks and slowly ghosts his fingers over Jungkook's clothes. The vampire can feel the sensation of tingling all over his skin. It's an unsettling, itchy feeling.

"I know my place, prince Jungkook." He whispers, plump lips so close to Jungkook's ear that he can feel them against the shell. "It's next to you, on the throne. I'll be by your side loyally and obediently. I'll be your queen."

Maybe it was his voice, his manipulation, his looks.

Jungkook was fast, but also dumb and irresponsible.

His hands grab onto Seokjin's elbow, twisting it so that Seokjin is right in front of him, and pushes him roughly against the wall, hands pinning his wrists, and lips on lips.

Seokjin melts, his body tingling when he feels the cold sensation of Jungkook's lips on his own. He whimpers and submits to the one year older vampire, who roughly uses his fangs to bite his bottom lip.

Seokjin gasps, hissing in pain. That's when Jungkook immediately moves back. Seokjin bites his lip, tasting the metallic fluid and grins as the prince, who looks at him with infuriating eyes.

"Soujin!" He yells loudly. Immediately his little sister sprints towards him, a sickening grin on her face as soon as she sees the elf prince. "Make sure that his room is ready by this morning. I'm disappointed in him, so don't shower him in compliments or gifts. Just because he's an elf, doesn't mean he's all good nature."

And Jungkook loves it. His lips still tingle from the contact and he wants nothing more but to hold and dominate over Seokjin's fragile elf body and mind.

The elf prince sends him a flying kiss down the hallway before he disappears with Soujin behind a corner.

Immediately, Jungkook hisses out loudly. He lets all his frustration out as he punches whatever he can hit, biting into anything, even his own skin. His blood is bitter and dark. For him it tastes disgusting, but to everyone else, it's the best.

That's royalty. Jungkook can only have a taste towards good blood. Anything bad, he can't really taste, leaving a sticky feeling behind in his mouth. It's bad enough if it's sticky on its own.

His mouth waters at the thought of the prince's blood. He's never tasted an elf's before... Would it be sweet? Leave a mark on his pale skin? Would it heal quickly?

The thoughts strangely calm him down, and he returns to his room to think for a good few minutes.

He greets Namjoon and his husband along the way, wishing them a happy long-lasting marriage.

When he comes inside his room, his eyes widen for a short moment before he frowns and shuts the door loudly. "What you're doing is not what I asked of you, Seokjin."

The elf shrugs. "You never told me not to wear your shirt."

"It's a button-up blouse for formal occasions. I can't wear it with your scent all over it." Jungkook hisses.

"Why?" Seokjin smirks. "Because it's my scent that drives you insane?"

Once again, Seokjin is much too close to Jungkook. The elf's arms wrap themselves around his neck, pulling the vampire closer and pecks his neck, making Jungkook growl lowly at the unfamiliar feeling.

"Is it my blood?"

Yes. It is. Jungkook wants to speak. He wants to talk and explain himself, but all he does is run out of control again and sinks his sharp fangs into Seokjin's tilted neck, moaning at the taste that drips out of the wound.

It's indeed sweet. It's the most delicious thing Jungkook has ever tasted, wanting more of him.

Seokjin tilts his head and sighs deeply, admiring how the vampire's adam's apple bobs with every gulp, how his muscles are tense from the taste and clearly holding back.

Jungkook hesitantly pulls his fangs out quickly, licking up the blood on Seokjin's collarbones and shoulder.

"Tasted good?" Seokjin asks with a grin. His skin feels like it's pulsing at the bite wound, but it's a wonderful sting.

Jungkook glares at him but nods. "Very..."

"Want me to be feeding you?"

Jungkook nods again. "For an eternity."

"Than we'd have to marry." Seokjin smiles darkly. "Of course I won't accept being your bloodbank as long as you're still single. Your fangs are the only ones that may ever touch me."

Jungkook likes those words. Seokjin just said he'll be his, and his only. He grins at the elf. "So desperate for me. And yet I am for you as well. The kiss was rather pleasing, and your blood is the perfect taste. You're everything I need in a queen."

"So is that a yes?" Seokjin asks with a smirk.

"Kim Seokjin, prince of Shalo, will you stay by my side as my queen?" Jungkook asks. His voice is soft, gentle and kind. For the first time, he actually wants something.

Seokjin smiles and nods. "Of course, Jungkookie, my darling."

Not even a week later, there is a ring on both their fingers. An engagement ring.

The people were shocked when they heard that Seokjin of all people would be their queen, but the elf quickly proved to be worthy of the throne.

He handled everything like Jungkook wanted him to. With power and mind. And at the great day, Seokjin was finally at his happiest.

"You'll look so pretty! Jungkook will be stunned!" Hoseok says happily.

"I know he will." Seokjin smiles. "I've anticipated this day ever since I first saw him! He grew up into such a powerful handsome vampire..."

"He's my husband's brother. If anyone is powerful it's them."

Jungkook growls as he fixes his suit. He's nervous. Very nervous. "God- hyung, what if I mess it up?! What if he decides not to marry me anymore?! What if-"

His brother slaps his cheek, gently but still hearing a slap. Jungkook hisses at him. "Namjoon!"

"Shut up! He loves you, and I can tell. Hoseok and I are literally filled with life now that you're finally getting married after sixty-eight men and women!"

Jungkook sighs and rushes his hand through his hair. "Still... He's always so beautiful. What if I'm suddenly not?"

"Than you'll be his ugly king." Namjoon chuckles. "Seriously, Jungkook, he really loves you. I've never heard a heart beat any faster than his whenever he's with you, and you know that. You love him too, I can see it. Just admit that you're completely smitten and get out there to marry your true queen!"

Jungkook smiles as his hair is once again styled into place after way too much hair-pulling.

He doesn't have a big ceremony. He didn't want the entire kingdom to be there. Just his family, friends, leaders and Seokjin's family.

Seokjin only had a few family members left. His father, aunt and cousins. He doesn't even miss Yoongi.

Jungkook stands nervously at the altar, his heart pounds in his chest and his hands are shaking intertwined behind his back.

His eyes are a red mixed with pink, and Namjoon pats his shoulder reassuringly. "Calm down, little brother."

"I'm shaking!" Jungkook whisper-yells. "I've never been so nervous before in my life!"

He quiets down immediately when the doors open, his breath taken away when Seokjin takes his sweet time to walk towards him, with Hoseok and his older sister following.

The white suit brings out his elfish features, his magical green eyes, his fluffy brown hair, pointy ears, smooth skin and dark gaze with a smile.

Finally, Jungkook can take Seokjin's hands and feel the warmth on his skin.

Seokjin smiles at him. Jungkook can hear his heart. It's magical and fast.

It's almost done... Seokjin thinks. He's almost mine...

"I do not approve of this marriage."

Everyone turns their head to the old elf, who frowns.

"Father. Sit back down and let me become a happy man!" Seokjin snarls.

"You are not my Seokjin." His father says. "You are someone manipulated by this freak!"

And that breaks Jungkook's shell.

The vampire's hand clutches around the old elf's throat, squeezing tightly. "I do not manipulate anyone. We are not freaks. This is why we cannot form an alliance. You are much too picky. Your son is more perfect than you will ever be or have been, and I wish to spend the rest of my eternal life with him!"

Seokjin smiles at him. "Thank you, my love."

Jungkook returns a gentle smile before setting the king down with an angry frown. "Sit, or leave. If you leave, you will not be welcome in this kingdom anymore, and you will be executed the moment you even set foot in this palace."

The king frowns, but sits down.

Jungkook returns to the alter, smiling at Seokjin, as they announce the kiss that will make this all happen.

Jungkook's lips firmly press against his lover's, sharing a kiss full of passion and trust. Seokjin doesn't even hear the cheering, he just feels Jungkook love him.

"You did awesome back there." Namjoon grins, holding a champagne glass half-filled with blood.

Jungkook holds the same drink, whilst his lover is having something else which might be alcoholic. Not that Seokjin minds.

"I had to. I didn't want to lose the one I love with my soul just by a miserable old man."

"And you saved my life with it as well." Seokjin smiles. "I love you, Kookie."

"I love you too, Jinnie."

The night goes on and on and on, dancing, partying, a few people who passed out and Jungkook drew on with markers like a child.

And then, when the sunrise begins, the newlywed couple has arrived at the castle.

Jungkook suddenly picks Seokjin up, kissing him for the thousandth time that night. He doesn't let go, neither does he stop when he pushes the door to his bedroom door open with his shoulder.

Seokjin is thrown onto the bed and watches Jungkook lock the door with a seductive smirk, slowly walking closer to him.

"Isn't this what elves do, on their first night?" He asks, his voice a low whisper. "Making love?"

Seokjin shrugs. "It depends on the couple."

"Well, do you want to be such a couple?"

"Yes..." Seokjin whimpers. "I want to feel you today, Jungkook... I want you to make love to me."
