____________♧ ACE POV ♧____________
--
Waking up was always the hardest task Ace made every day; being asleep was the happiest period he spent Every night for he dreamt all types of the possible dreams he wished to have in reality. In his boring prince life, he never had any fun during the day so he preferred sleeping instead to swim in the unknown world of the most extraordinary sceneries he saw during those periods.
But today wasn't like any other morning he had to get up to, today he actually anticipated walking up which was odd enough for him to raise eyebrows.
"Am I hallucinating or is Ace actually cheerful this morning?" Called Aron loud enough to get Ace's attention from looking deeply at the gate of the garden beside them.
"Is it a sin to be happy?" Questioned Ace smiling merrily.
It was indeed a rare occasion to witness their little prince smile this happily, morning or not. He was never this happy since their mother died which made them optimistic for him.
Little did they know that the cause of their brother's joy was because of a mysterious girl he has met last night. In fact, Ace spent the night thinking about a possible friend he might have or haven't made. Ace had never any friends for he was never interested in making friends out of his inner circle. He was insecure for maybe they will not like his weird likings. But he felt promising about yesterday's event for she looked kind of interested in him or maybe he was hallucinating? It didn't mind as he already took an interest in her.
He wanted her to come tonight, maybe she will agree to be his friend? Or will he seem so demanding? Will she be grossed off is she knew about him? He hoped that won't be the case for he was already hoping for too much. What would she think if she knew he was a prince? Will she anticipate much bigger things money could do? He hoped she won't like him for his wealth.
"Hey!" Said Aron waving his hand looking for Ace's attention.
Coming out from his daydreams Ace looked at his annoying brother. "What?" He said annoyingly rolling his chocolate-brown eyes.
"I said that April's fiance is coming to our territory tomorrow!" Aron cried out excitedly finally taking a seat beside Ace.
"Why are you this much eager?" Blurted out Ace questioningly before looking back at the maid watching her clean.
They were currently sitting at the stools of their mother's gardens staring off at the space in front of them. It was a quiet morning with the court's birds chirping around them creating beautiful tunes.
"Your sister has been dreaming of this so I'm just happy for her" shrugged Aron in a hassle.
"I'm just-" hesitated Ace not as delighted as Aron. "I will miss her" wondered Ace staring into space.
Aron then giggled briefly "you forgot about me?" He then proceeded to push Ace jokingly.
"Stooooop" whined the other boy cutely "I'm serious! I'll call April" stomped Ace whiny.
Aron laughed hysterically but when Ace stood up from stool they were both sitting at and began running inside, he ran after him stopping him before telling their sister. April had a bad temper that scared the alpha himself "Ok ok I'll stop sorry"
"You better!" Shouted Ace from inside.

____________♧ ZIA POV ♧____________
--
"Good morning Auntie," said Zia politely.
"Good morning dear" replied her aunt preparing the breakfast.
They just woke up and were preparing the breakfast for the new day "Aunt can I ask you something?"
"I'm all ears" her aunt lowered her glasses looking at Zia from under them.
Zia scratched her hair nervously "um, can I go to Iris's hut today?"
"You always go so why are you asking all of the sudden?" added her aunt confusingly.
"I was hoping to spend the night"
"Oh" The older one in the room looked as if she was thinking deeply before adding "alright but come by the morning I require your help"
Zia was beyond excited "Thank you!" She hugged her and went to change her old night's dress into a fresh one.
Zia actually wanted to do something new today thus the overstaying. She wanted to go out with Iris today to the market secretly but she knew Iris will not let her so she planned to convince her.
-
The weather today was chillier than yesterday's so she had to wear an extra layer of clothing for she always had colder skin then everyone she's met.
"Iris!" Zia tried to call her friend from outside their farms but due to the cold, her voice wasn't quite hearable.
Zia got frustrated so she kicked off the gate in hopes of getting inside her friend's cottage. Once inside she knocked on her door loud to be considered audible.
"Ye- Zia? What brings you here in this coldness??? Are you quite insane?" She shook her head in disbelief.
The coldness was unbearable for Young Zia too for she couldn't come up with a proper reason too "i- wan- me!"
"What?" Shouted Iris from inside
"I-" tried Zia again
"For God's sakes! Come inside and talk!"
Iris pulled Zia's hand inside making her stumble for a second but she instantly regained her balance "I want to go out"
Taking off her thick coat, Iris looked at Zia confused "Where to?"
"To the market"
"Impossible" Iris half-shouted as she failed to maintain a straight face to the statement she just heard.
"Not fully, you will come with me" added Zia smugly.
"Nooooo I don't want trouble Zia!"
"Please please please"
"No"
"Pleaseeeee"
"No. And that's final" Iris concluded sternly.
Zia sighed fakely trying to confuse Iris "well, I will have to stay inside forever! Like belle" she faked crying out loud.
"Who's belle?" Asked Iris worriedly.
"Someone I know" Zia started pouting "perhaps I'll get the plague!"
Iris's eyes widened for a second "really????"
"Haven't you heard? Young adults have been dying because of it!"
"And why is that?"
"Because they stayed home for a long time!" Continued Zia convincingly.
"Oh really?" Challenged Iris raising her blonde eyebrows.
"Yes? And that's why the urge to go out"
"Stop fibbing will you? You only know me and your aunt" Iris started punching Zia jokingly.
"Alright I'll just go aloneee~~~" teased Zia turning to the door she came from taking a few steps.
"I will go with you" whispered Iris sighing at her wicked fate.
"What's that? I didn't hear you"
"I'll GO WITH YOU!" yelled Iris scornfully.
Zia turned again with a mockery smile plastered on her rosy cheeks.
-
Zia never had the chance to see people she's been living with since she was eight winters. Imagine her enthusiasm for seeing a considerable amount of humans than she's ever in the whole plain life she's lived. No words could ever interpret the feelings she is feeling right now as she is observing faces she thought she would never come across.
"Holy heavens!" Exclaimed Zia with excitements buzzing through her like a living fire.
"Why are you so fascinated? It's the plainest market I've been to????" Asked Iris trying hard to understand Zia's desire to go out. Nothing is safe outside! And what's the fun in going to the market out of all places she could have thought of!
"You don't get it Iris!" Pouted Zia camouflaging behind her friend as if everyone was too evil for her.
Iris sighed tucking Zia's hand into hers as a sign for protection. "You are your own head I guess" trailed off Iris thinking about the warm bed she longed for even if she had just gotten up.
Abruptly, a growling voice was heard which startled both of the companions making them take few steps backwards as a reflex of defence.
"What was that?" Zia panicked struggling to conceal her anxiety.
"High possibility of it being a wolf's" shrugged Iris nonchalantly.
"A WOLF'S?????" Cried out Zia frighteningly.
"What? Haven't seen one?" Asked Iris shocked.
"Is it supposed to be a normal thing to great one every day or what?
"Of course! You are literally living in the wolves' territory" Iris didn't stop walking which made Zia miss out a little.
"Why haven't I heard of that?"
"Maybe your aunt never told you about this country's history"
"So are you a one too?"
"I am but not officially"
"What does that mean?" Zia finally catching up Iris's longer steps.
"I haven't presented yet"
"When will you?"
"I'm 18 so let's wait"
"Does that makes me a wolf too?" Asked Zia genuinely curious.
"I suppose? You can also be a vampire"
"That's thrilling!" Chuckled Zia excitedly punching the air.
"You are lovely Zia!!!" Cried Iris punching Zia's extra rosy cheeks due to the raging weather.
And the for the first time in years, Zia finally learned something about her Existence but that couldn't still explain her unexplainable individuality.
-
Zia didn't forget her rare encounter last night, she just decided to stop overthinking about the meeting with another human she had. That boy seemed completely harmless
Or maybe she had a poor judgement but if looks could deceive, he would be the top tier.
Zia thought of informing her best friend everything that occurred but for the first time, she was intimidated. Iris was the kindest soul she will ever meet but she speculated that Iris would tell her aunt. Nevertheless, she decided to meet him today again for she was simply curious and curiosity killed the cat right?
When both Zia and Iris returned home, it was already late. Zia didn't want to leave the freedom so Iris allowed her to stay for a few more hours. Iris was a coward, she spent the whole journey looking for the evil eye watching the innocent poor kids but Zia reassured her that her aunt doesn't go out of the house on Saturdays. Nonetheless, better be prepared than not.
When Zia was certain Iris went to sleep, she took her coat to protect her from the deadly coldness of the night and headed to the forest she knew too well.
It was undoubtedly a dreadful night for a young lady but Zia had a fearless heart so she managed just fine to go back to the unclear route she had to take due to the snowy grounds. Upon arrival, she noticed no one at the crimson tree they met at yesterday. Nonetheless, she sat down and waited for his arrival. She couldn't deny her excitement but she also had pride that if he didn't come she wouldn't be upset, for they just met yesterday and she shouldn't be this eager to meet an anonymous boy.
"So you came?" A familiar voice said breaking the vacant silence which made Zia look at his face that was currently not distinguished from the darkness of the night.
"You remembered?" She questioned back challengingly.
"I was the one who planned this, of course, I fulfilled my decisions" He smiled sitting beside her.
"So what's your name?" Zia asked confidently.
"Eager much?"
"I came here just for this, of course, I am!" Rolling her sapphire-blue eyes that were shined at by the moonlight.
"I'll tell you at the end of this meeting so that you stay with me"
Zia huffed at his stubbornness but managed to maintain the ongoing talk between them.
"Are you a wolf?"
He seemed quite startled by this question "no one usually ask this here"
"Why not?"
"You are in the north dummy"
"Don't call me dummy" Zia rolled her eyes for the thousandth time this night.
"I am mixed"
"What's that?"
"I'm both a vampire and a wolf, or what they call it a hybrid nowadays"
"Oh like the king's children?" She questioned innocently. Iris told her this information this morning which raised many questions from Zia's sides.
The boy, on the other hand, seemed to be in a lot of conflicts right now as she is waiting for his answer.
"Um- yeah..."
"You seem conflicted"
"Me? No no" he denied her suspicions.
"Alright, " she thought for a while "I need to head back to where I've come from"
"oh" it came off sad a little "you coming tomorrow?"
"I hope so" she smiled standing up ready to go.
"Ace" he shouted.
"Ace?" She replied hesitantly.
"My name's Ace" He waved goodbye before running back out of the forest.
Zia smiled to herself "Ace?" She tested the name on her tongue "I like it"
Zia finally found a name to the nameless boy and little did she know that he will be the Ace of her future adventures.
