Chapter 4
Mitchel looked nervously at his fellow classmates. His heart beat quickly against his rib cage. They all stood against the wall, either looking sophisticated, lazy, or, in Michal's case, stupid. Leyna elbowed him, and he stood up straight.
Mitchel's father patted his back. "This will be good training for when you get older, son."
"But I don't want to be a Principal."
"I know, but for now, just pretend you do, alright?"
"Yes Father..."
Troy grunted. "This is getting boring, will someone explain why we are here?"
"Yeah," Charlotte said. "why are we here?"
Mitchel examined her. Her hair was long and red, and her eyes sparkled with power. Witches tended to do that. her blue eyes burrowed into him, probably examining the state of his soul. She was wearing a purple skin tight top that was kind of like a tank top, but also a turtle neck. There was no neck line, but nothing to cover the shoulders either. She had on black leggings and purple boots on as well, making her look a bit more like a professional witch.
"We have something to discuss..." Mitchel finally said.
Aristide smiled at him. "Yes, Mitchel?"
"It is about Andrea."
"The human?" a smooth voice asked. Mitchel looked over to see Estal.
He had light blonde hair with blue eyes. His skin was tan, and he wore a light blue jacket with white cuffs. He wore blue jeans and white converse. Mitchel noticed his hair was tied in a low ponytail. It got longer He thought to himself. Estal hadn't talked to Mitchel in what seemed like eons, and he hadn't seen him around either.
"What about that wonderful woman?" Troy asked, clearly thinking of drinking her blood.
Mitchel clenched his jaw. He was tempted to yell at him, but knew it wouldn't help. "Yes, well, there is a reason why she is allowed to attend the school."
"Really?" Fai asked. "I thought it was just an integration thing-y like your father said."
Mitchel shook his head. "What is this 'reason', Mitchel? I have things to do, people to see." Zoe said, sounding impatient.
"Yes, well-"
"So there is something up with Andrea? She smells like a normal human." Michal said.
"I get what you mean, Alpha, but I don't know what this humongous reason is."
"I was about to ask about that..." Troy said. "Why gather the top people in the main species that attend here to talk about Andrea?"
Mitchel opened his mouth to speak. "Well, I think it is because she is close to finding us out." Charlotte said, sounding certain.
"Nah, I bet she isn't human at all!" Michal cried out.
Leyna covered her face with her hand, sighed exasperatedly, and shook her head. "Michal...she is definitely a human. Why would they lie about being a human if they weren't?"
"Point taken." Michal said. "Though, why not lie? What if she is, dare I saw it, a demon?"
The group fell silent, so Mitchel took the opening. "No, she is not a demon."
"Then what is she?" Fai asked.
"Be quiet so I can tell you." Mitchel growled through clenched jaws.
"I think we made him angry, you should all apologize." Estal said.
"It's fine, just please don't interrupt again, alright?" Mitchel asked, hoping they would oblige.
Once everyone agreed, Mitchel began explaining. "Andrea is not an ordinary human. Her family, including her parents, were, and still are, monster hunters."
"Really?" Everyone asked.
Mitchel nodded. "We have her at this school not only to befriend her, but to protect her as well."
"Protecting a Monster Hunter? Have we really stooped that low?" Troy asked, clearly annoyed.
"It is not lowly to help someone out, Troy. The family is being targeted by...other creatures that would harm her."
"Okay, why her?" Zoe asked.
"Yeah? Why her specifically?" Charlotte echoed.
"Well, she is one of the...uh, I forget what it's called to them..." Mitchel said, turning to his father for help.
His father stepped foward. "In Monster Hunter families, every century, a child is born with the power of defeat royal monsters."
"That's pretty tough to do, are you sure Andrea is one?"
"Yes, Troy. I am not an Angel just to say I am."
"So how are we going to protect her?"
"Well, we have to first start off by befriending her." Mitchel said, pacing back in forth in front of the group as he listed off the steps.
"After we have done that, we ease her into the idea that we exist, but we don't show her or tell her directly yet. Then, once she believes we exist, we show her. Once she isn't freaking out that we are mythological beings, we explain her heritage. And, finally, we teach her how to use her powers and protect her at all costs."
"Okay then." Estal said.
"My son has already gained her trust." Mitchel's father said, stepping foward.
Mitchel nodded. As he thought about her, he remembered gym class, and his face reddened. The other teens burst into laughter. "What, you like her?" Michal asked, laughing hysterically.
Mitchel shook his head. "No...just thinking of gym class..."
His father nodded. "Those gym clothes for girls are short, huh?"
Mitchel nodded, his face getting redder and redder.
"Wish I could have seen that." Troy said, licking his lips.
Mitchel glared at him, tempted to slit the Vampire's throat. As soon as he thought this, he began to get worried. Was he falling for Andrea? No, it wouldn't work out anyways. He was an Angle and she, a Monster Hunter.
Mitchel did have a human in his family though. Victoria was human, but she was a Step Mom. His actual mom ran off to be with some other Angel, and Mitchel hadn't seen her since he was five.
"When should we start?" Leyna asked, saluting Mitchel's father.
"Ia-o încet, Leyna." Troy said, probably forgetting he wasn't in his castle in Romania.
Leyna glared at him, making Troy realize what happened. "Sorry, forgot where I was. I said Take it slow, Leyna."
Leyna scoffed. "I know that." She spat.
"I know that." Troy mocked.
Soon, the two were arguing, and Mitchel sighed. "What are we going to do with these people?"
"Not sure, but I think you should have chosen different ones." Aristide said, walking over.
"Agreed." Estal said, following Frank's son.
Mitchel and Aristide's father's sighed. "This is going to be one wild ride."

Thanks for reading! What did you think of Mitchel's POV? I wanted to change it up a bit, and I thought Mitchel would be the best for this chapter!
I feel like a broken record, so I won't repeat what I usually say each chapter, but if you don't remember, just go to one of the other chapters to see what it says.
Also, if you couldn't already tell, the picture is of Troy.
