Septimus' P.O.V.

Samuel showed me into his Lab which like his Study is filled with vials of Pure Arts and I was still in awe to be honest. "Make sure not to touch anything," Samuel said. "Got it," I said. Samuel went over to 2 empty vials. "Release the Power into Existence," Samuel chanted. 2 star symbols appeared over the vials and blue and purple liquid appeared in the vials. "Whoa," I said. "It's an Extraction. The kind of spell Mystyks use to create the Pure Arts," Samuel said. "Interesting," I said. "Yeah. Also don't touch the vials when the Pure Arts have been recently Extracted or your hands will burn to a crisp," Samuel said. "Got it," I said. I stepped back as Samuel poured some some Pure Fyre into the newly made Pure Magyk and it created a mist. "Same reaction as always," Samuel said. "As always?" I asked. "Yep. It happens whenever I mix Pure Magyk and Pure Fyre," Samuel said. "So Samuel how long have you been the Mystyk?" I asked. "2 years and call me Sam. You've earned it," Sam said. "O-okay," I stuttered while blushing. Sam chuckled and went back to work. I looked around and saw notes. I took 1 down and read it mentally. It said: 'Dear Sam, I know you must be busy. You know being the Mystyk and all but I just wanna say hi. Hi! I've missed you so have your mom and siblings. Please don't forget me. Your own, Nicholas'. "Who's Nicholas?" I asked. Sam blushed and said "An old friend,". 

Time Skippers 

I was in a different part of Sam's house when I saw more notes from this Nicholas character. I saw a picture of Sam and some other guy who had brown hair,green eyes,and peach skin. The guy next to Sam in the picture was wearing an over coat a shirt that exposed his stomach and that's all I could see. I saw that in the picture Nicholas had his arm around Sam's shoulders. "Are they.......together?" I asked myself. "Not anymore," I heard Sam say. "Oh hey Sam. I didn't hear you come in," I said. "Yeah. But me and Nicholas aren't together anymore. We used to have the strongest love in the Castle before......he left to the Forest and started sending me letters everyday. He stopped after I broke up with him but I kinda miss them," Sam said. "And him?" I asked. "No. He was wild and decided that the Forest was the only place for him. I have to accept that," Sam said "You know I never got Nicholas' fashion sense. Wearing that overcoat and shirt. I never got it,".
