Y/N's POV

I sat on the couch watching some TV when a thought came to my mind. I never noticed how lonely it is in my house. I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard my doorbell ring from downstairs. I walk down the stairs and open the door.

"Hey Y/N!" Dante greets me

"Oh hey Dante! What are you doing here?" I ask

"Just wanted to see if you were ok from earlier, you know?" Aww how sweet

"Thanks Dante, I'm fine thanks for asking. Hey uh wanna come in?" I ask since we are still standing in the doorway

"Oh yeah" he laughs embarrassed. We both walk inside and sit down at my table in the dining room.

"Dante, does my house seem lonely to you?"

"Huh? Why do you ask?" He asked with a confused yet concerned look

"I don't know, it just seems like something is missing or it's empty."

"Weeeeeellll I can move in if you want" he winks

"Umm no thanks" I quickly reply uncomfortable with the situation he put me in.

"Hmm maybe a pet?" He stated not knowing what else could solve the problem. I gasped

"Yes! That's perfect! Your a genius Dante!" I yell with a huge grin on my face while standing up off my chair

"Well thanks! Are you going now?"

"Yes!" I say as a grab his hand and pull him so he would follow me. His eyes widened in surprise and he yelped at the sudden movement. I shoved him in the passenger seat in my car and drove to the pet store.

"I'm thinking a dog!" I yelled ecstatically

"Wow ok calm down you can get whatever you want!" He said while covering his ears

"Heheh sorry" I said while rubbing the back of my neck sheepishly with my other hand on the wheel.

We finally reached our destination and hopped out. We walked across the street and opened the front doors. Once I got in I stood in awe, there were so many cute animals!!! I started running around looking at everyone cage or enclosure where the animals were being kept.

Then this one puppy caught my eye. There was a little bloodhound laying on the ground with its cute puppy dog eyes looking up at me. I couldn't hold back the "D'awwww!" That escaped my mouth. I need this little guy! Is it a boy or a girl though? I looked at the paper taped to the side that had all the information about the puppy on it. It was a girl!

"Dante look! C'mere!" I called. Dante came running over and looked at the puppy I was pointing at.

"It's so cute! Is it a boy or a girl?" He asked

"This paper says it's a girl" I stated while pointing at the paper.

"Oh, then it's a girl I guess!" He said putting on a grin. I rolled my eyes

"I want her" I said and he nodded. We went to find someone that worked there to ask what we had to do to get her. The man we found came to look at the puppy and said he would get her out for us. Dante and I waited patiently for the man to get her out. He walked up to us with the puppy in his hands and handed her to me.

"Here you go, she is all yours" the man said while I held her in my arms as she snuggled me. The man walked away to continue his work.

"Come on Dante! We need to buy some supplies for this little girl!" I said running into another aisle with Dante followed suite. I grabbed a bag of dog food, a pink collar and leash, a light blue fluffy dog bed, and some toys for her to play with. We brought them to the check out and walked outside through the parking lot.

While Dante was putting the supplies we bought in the back of my car, I carefully put the puppy in the back seat. She started to lay down and take a nap. I sat in the drivers seat while Dante got in the car. We drove back home and pulled in the driveway of my house.

"Hey Dante can you carry in that stuff while I carry the puppy in?" I asked politely

"Sure thing" he winked and I blushed. I opened the door to the car and lifted the puppy out. I closed the door and carried her in the house. I set her down and the sofa and she stared and me for a while.

"Hmm you need a name" I said concentrated on thinking of one. Dante walked into the living room and said;

"Hey I brought everything in!"

"Oh thanks! This little girl needs a name.." I said tapping my chin

"Yeah your right, you can't just keep calling her 'girl' or 'puppy'."

"Yeah thanks captain obvious" I rolled my eyes

"Well I got to go, I'll text you later probably. Cya later Y/N!" I waved goodbye to him and looked back at the puppy that was currently sitting on my couch. She barked and tilted her head.

"Hmmmm OH! I know. I'll call you....."
