So, first thing came first, it was December, 5th. So, I had some shopping to do. Christmas shopping for people I barely know? Sounds like a great idea! I see nothing wrong with that! So, today was gonna be my trip to the mall to find gifts for the guys and gals on MyStreet. To like, welcome them I guess. Even though they were here before me? So, a knock came to my door and I was surprised to see that it was just a large dog. My dog. The pet mover sat outside watching up until I opened the door. Then they drove off leaving me with my faithful German Shepeard.

"You gonna come with me boy," I say, "Let's go get some Christmas gifts!" I giggle as we begin on our walk to the mall. I didn't need to leash him or hold onto his collar. He was trained since he was a Pup and is very well behaved. His black collar read off Diego, and he came to me as I whistled for him just at the entrance of the mall. "Diego! Come on!" I smile as he charges in, myself behind him. We end up walking about the mall, looking through any and all the stores we could and nothing! I guess it is hard to shop for someone you don't know. "Hmmm, come on boy. We can find something, we just have to try a little harder. I know Aphmau likes purple and Katelyn like blue... we'll start with them." Suddenly Diego bolts down the hall and tackles that guy from the other night. The one we threw that huge snowball at. "DIEGO! Get off of him!" I pull him off and hold him back a bit. "I am so sorry. Diego isn't normally like that."

"UGH! He got dog slobber all over me! Just watch your dog would you!?" They snapped.

"I will and again I am so sorry," I finish as he walks away with a scoff, "Well he was a Grinch wasn't he Diego. Anyways we need to get to those gifts... But, maybe we should get some food first." Diego lets out a large bark in agreement and we head over to the direction of the food court. Sitting down with some fries that I'll feed him every now and again.

"Hey Kya," Someone says. I turn my head and catch Laurance standing over me, "I didn't expect to see you here."

"Oh, hey Laurance," I say, "Yeah I'm here trying to get Christmas gifts for everyone but it's proven to be really difficult."

"Christmas gifts?" He asks, "For everyone on MyStreet, well, of course, that'd be difficult. You just moved in this week. Do you even know everyone yet?"

"I think so, but hey! I'm trying! I wanted to be nice," I protest. Diego chimes in with a helpful bark and I giggle, giving him a little pet.

"This your dog?" He asks.

"Yeah, this is Diego. Diego shake," I tell him and he reaches his paw out to shake Laurance's hand. Laurance takes his paw and chuckles a bit.

"He's a good boy, well do you need any help, I know most of everyone pretty well," He offers with a kind smile.

"Yeah that'd be great, but I wanna go and get a few things by myself first. I'll meet up with you when I'm done with that," I say as Diego and I go to leave, "See ya around Laurance!"

"See ya later Kya!" Laurance says and I walk off again. I catch a glimpse of the girl crying along the side wall and Diego's smart move is to nudge her with his nose to make her stop. This girl is a Mefi'wa with pink hair, a pink bow, pink winter dress, pink boots. Her eyes are this bright yellow.

"Are you okay?" I say as Diego comes back to my side.

"Kawaii~Chan, are you okay?" Aphmau asks coming up from the side. I don't even think she noticed I was there. Not the first time, oh well.

"Kawaii~Chan just wanted to buy Reese a beautiful present! But all those salesmen were so nice and said all these nice things! Kawaii~Chan felt bad if she didn't buy anything, so she bought everything sold to her," She cries, "Now she has no money for a nice present for Reese!"

"Kawaii~Chan..." Aphmau says in a friendly concerning voice. Laurance came over and began to talk to Aphmau as I dug around in my pocket and took out some money.

"Kawaii~Chan? I'm gonna guess that's your name?" I say as Aphmau and Laurance look over to us, "Here. Take this. It should be enough to buy this, Reese guy, a nice present." I bend over and hand her the money I had, standing back up with a caring smile.

"W-W-What?" Kawaii~Chan asks.

"Kya you don't have to do that," Aphmau says.

"Yeah, weren't you saving that money to buy everyone Christmas gifts?" Laurance says.

"I was, but, I think she'll need this more," I say, "Christmas is a great time of you to show people how you care, and honestly, if she likes this guy, I'm on team Kawaii~Chan for it. It's only 20 bucks, but, it should do."

"What's going on over here?" That guy with the one eye says walking over to us. He's dressed as a security guard now.

"None of your business," Laurance snaps. Diego barks in agreement. "See, even the dog agrees with me!"

"Oh someone's still mad that I owned them and Garroth in that little snowball fight," He says with a smirk hidden under the mask.

"YOU KEPT AIMING FOR OUR EYES!" Laurance shouts.

"What do you want Zane?" Aphmau asks, clearly annoyed.

"You're loitering," Zane answers, "I'm working part-time security here for the holidays. So leave, or I'll destroy you."

"I'm pretty sure you aren't allowed to do that," I tell him.

"I can, but, why is that cat girl crying?" He asks.

"It's not your business but since you're security," Aphmau sighs, "She got sold all these things she didn't want."

"Kawaii~Chan got all these pony things!" Kawaii~Chan whines, "I already have too many pony things, to begin with! I didn't need more!"

"Wait, are those the limited edition sets?" Zane asks. Quickly he pays Kawaii~Chan for the ponies and runs off without another word. Laurance began to state how nice that was of Zane. Kawaii~Chan gave me back my money. Then, Aphmau, she was saying that Zane was up to something since he's not that nice.

"That's true Aphmau~Senpai, but thanks to Zane~Kun, Kawaii~Chan can start saving for a better gift for Reese~Senpai!" Kawaii~Chan giggles and runs off with Aphmau.

"Hey, how about we look in a couple stores and then I'll walk you home," Laurance suggests.

"Sounds good. I wanna try to at least get a few things before I leave. So, what do Dante and Garroth like?" I say as Laurance leads Diego and me through the mall.

On the way home, Laurance kept on cracking jokes about past things that had happened between him, Garroth, and even Dante a couple of times. It was like I had always been a part of MyStreet and the lives of the clearly close friends who lived here before me.

"Ya know, I never knew that a Casanova could actually be this funny," I say as we near our two houses.

"I'm more than just funny," He winks as he talks as if the whole thing is some crazy joke.

"Oh well, I don't need to know the rest of that punch line," I say with an eye roll and a smirk.

"Awww, well this was fun," He states, "Don't worry. I won't tell the guys what you got them."

"Thanks, Laurance! I'll see you around?" I say with a smile.

"Or I could hang at your place tonight?" He places an arm around my shoulders and wiggles his eyebrows making me laugh harder than I have tonight. Harder than I have in a long time.

"Bye Laurance," I say and walk off with Diego.

"Bye Kya," He sighs and heads up the walk to his house. I head inside to mine and see someone sitting on the couch staring at the TV. It's not on, they're just, staring at it. "What the-" Diego sits at the table and I can see him through this guy. Messy blonde hair, tan skin, red and... black, hoodie. I shake my head and jump on the couch next to the figure. Only to see, there is no figure. It was all in my head... I pull the strings on my hoodie and look to Diego. I guess no memories can stay surfaced if I'm gonna move on from... everything. "Looks like this needs to go in the closet tonight too."
