That night I went on to help Aaron with his lights. He gets really into it, unlike myself right now. I'm not big on decorating my own house, especially by myself. But I'm all for helping Aaron! He wanted to do this musical strobe light show so, I was on board pretty quick.

"Hey Kya, how about I help you decorate your house? As a thank you?" Aaron said while I passed him up a string of lights.

"I'm not sure about that," I respond, "But if I change my mind I'll let you know."

"You already decorated, didn't you?"

"Yes..." He said and started laughing. I looked down at my house and he looked as well. It was colored in basic decorations. Lights, reef, fake snowflakes. I knew Aaron was gonna hunt me down later on though, so I'd put up that mistletoe I had in a box upstairs. I'd either wear it secretly or stick it somewhere in my house where it wouldn't bother me. Like in a closet. "Oh, Zane's coming. He's the Judge for the contest, jump down." Aaron doesn't even let me move. He just jumps and takes me off the ladder himself. "Thanks, Cous, but don't touch me."

"Heheh, alright," Aaron said as Zane stepped up to his house. He had that disapproving stare as Aaron flipped on the lights and the mashup began. It was amazing. And way to neon.

"200," Zane said and walked off, "Kya, 75." I nodded and looked back to Aaron giving him a thumbs up. Soon enough, Zane, Aphmau, Katelyn, Kawaii~Chan, Garroth, Laurance, and Dante were outside watching the lights going off. I turned and saw Aaron was already inside. I shook my head and walked over to everyone.

"He's single right Aph?" Katelyn asked.

"Oh those Christmas Decorating skills though," Kawaii~Chan sighed.

"I think, I want, to marry him," Aphmau chimed in. Like yes! Maybe! I don't know how he feels about her actually.

"I quit, I'm ordering a pizza," Dante said and walked off.

"It's okay Garroth," Laurance said as Garroth started crying, "There's nothing that Grandma's Reef could do to compete with that." I just shook my head and left, waving goodnight to the only person that seemed to notice me. Zane.

The next few days came rolling in and things were, normal. I got all my Christmas Shopping done and even got some extra things for my house. Not many jobs came in, which was fine by me, for now anyway. Aaron was coming by almost every day now and when he didn't. He'd send me a message. He's about the most caring cousin I've ever met. Then it came to be, the 13th or 14th and I got a letter from Aph in the mail.

Dear Kya,

You are invited to a party Katelyn, Kawaii~Chan, and I are hosting at our place! It's a special party that is more of a housewarming party, but since it's also in the season we're doubling it as a pre-holiday party! No gifts are required to come-feel free to bring a plus one!

It was for I think, tomorrow? I would've brought gifts anyway. I have a bunch for everyone so, why not? I'd be able to meet some new people anyways! There are so many people on this street I've yet to meet!

The day of the party, previously I had, no intent on bringing any friends with me. I had no friends in this town honestly, but, I did have Diego... who I was gonna bring with me whether they wanted me to or not. Aaron told me that Aphmau had a little husky so I thought her dog could play with him. I left the house in the cute little Santa dress I found buried away in my closet with black leggings. It was sorta cute. Though I'm not a dress fan. I was bringing all of the gifts since, why not, and I had a mountain of boxes in my arms. I couldn't see my feet or where I was going.

"Here, let us help," I heard a charming voice call. Some boxes were lifted off my head as I tried to look around them. Still couldn't see, until another couple was taken off my stack. Finally, I could see where I was going.

"Oh, thank you two so much!" I say with a smile. Catching myself to seeing a man whose skin was pink and the other whose skin was blue. Everything about them was their skin color. Eyes, hair, clothes, and all.

"Oh don't mention it," The blue one said.

"I'm Reese and this is my brother Marsh," The pink one said.

"Kya," I tell them, "You two heading to the Christmas Party at Aphmau's?"

"Yeah," Marsh says, "We'll bring these boxes over for you."

"Thank you!" I smile bright and head along the street with Diego at my side. He jumps at the door enough to make it seem like a knock. Suddenly another man appears. One with an eyepatch and red hair. The only eye he has is colored yellow. Long story short, a pirate who had little interest in talking to me.

"Hey, Reese!" Aphmau says as the door opens.

"Hello Aphmau," He responds, "Thank you for inviting me, but you really didn't have to. We barely know each other."

"Umm... duh, that's why I invited you. So we could all get to know each other," Aphmau says welcoming them in.

"Okay, I suppose you're right," Reese said, "Well anyway I brought my roommates with me. This is my brother Marsh and my friend McCloud. Then this is Kya who we were helping a moment ago."

"She already knows me, Reese," I say as I head in behind them, "Now, where do I put the presents~" I chime.

"It's a little early for presents but you can put them over in the corner there," Aphmau says and directs me to the corner. I set down all the presents and walk back over to her, waiting for her to finish her conversation with McCloud and Marsh. Who, actually, Marsh was sorta sweet-seeming. He brought these scented candles as like a housewarming gift. He even asked if should take off his shoes. It was, okay, it was cute.

"Hey Aph," I say stepping forward, "Is it okay that I brought Diego? I thought he could play with your little pup?"

"That's fine Kya! I have no issue with it," Aphmau says, "She's running around the house right now. So if he can, Diego can go and find her." I nodded and I sent Diego off to find her.

"Thanks, Aphmau!" I smile and walk back to the party, quickly being joined by Marsh who stood beside me staring around the living room.

"So, Kya, how do you know Aphmau already?" Marsh asked. His voice was like, this Prince Charming thing. Calm, sophisticated, and as the fairy tale name says, charming.

"I live on this street. I have for a couple of weeks now," I answer with a smile, "Your brother, Reese, he's like the Pizza Guy right?"

"Yes, he is," Marsh says, "Now if you don't mind me asking-" He begins before McCloud shouts from the kitchen. I look over and giggle when I see him dancing on the table. "Excuse me for a moment, M'Lady. McCloud get down from there!" He heads off to the kitchen, leaving me still laughing at McCloud's actions and Marsh's reaction. I soon flipped myself over the side of the couch and landed there watching the TV Fire Place.

"Sick flip," Garroth said. I didn't even have to look, his voice is so unique I knew it was him.

"Thanks, Garroth," I say and smile as he jumps next to me. I turn to see Marsh shaking his head as McCloud is dancing on the table. Reese and this Mefi'wa standing beside the table.

"Look at all those presents in the corner!" Garroth shouted in my ear.

"I brought them," I said and shook my head, "Also, please don't shout in my ear."

"Sorry about that Kya," He apologized and I just shrugged it off. I kept, glancing over to Marsh, he's shaking head was laced with a smile as he held in his chuckles on McCloud's dancing. "Ooh, you like him!"

"What?" I question, "No way. I just met him. So, no."

"So, yes. The constant stares you give him, and don't think I didn't see you talking to him before you sat down! That smile and giggle were adorable!" Garroth began making a kissing face causing me to break into laughter. After the whole talk with Garroth, Laurance came over and pulled him aside, talking to him about, something. I sorta just sat on the couch alone after that. For maybe about 10 minutes before Laurance invited me upstairs to mess with something. I shook my head, but, he carried me upstairs after throwing me over his shoulder.

Apparently, Katelyn had a One Direction Poster that was signed and they stuck a photo of Zane's head on one of the guys. I began cracking up dying when I saw what they were doing.

"This is perfect!" Laurance shouted, "So much better than the Reindeer Butt prank!"

"What did you guys do to her poster! She's gonna kill you guys! And by extension, she'll kill me!" Aphmau whined as Garroth immediately pointed to Laurance and claimed that he did it.

"It's just a prank bro!" Laurance defended.

"We have to fix this before she sees it!" Aphmau shouted.

"Well, if you come with me, I can show you how to fix it," Laurance said in this voice, that made me know he was up to something that had nothing to do with this poster.

"Really Laurance?" Garroth questioned before the gears in his head clicked, and then mine did as well. "HEY WAIT A MINUTE!"

"Aphmau, I have another poster, this exact one at my house," I tell her, "I grew out of One Direction so, I'll bring mine over, to replace this one."

"NO!" Laurance and Garroth screamed at the same time, "FOLLOW US!" I just shook my head and stayed there looking at the poster. Easily I could fix the poster without needing to give her mine. Good thing I always have my swiss army knife. Which I used to quickly cut off the sticker of Zane's face. I step out of the room, only to see Kawaii~Chan growling and leaping down the stairs, blocking Laurance and Garroth from Aphmau who was under the... mistletoe. OH!! THEY LIKE HER!!! I started laughing from up the stairs, casting a smile down once Marsh flashed one towards me. He slipped his way past the mistletoe and up the stairs to me.

"Where'd you run off to?" He asked.

"Oh, just to talk with some other people," I answer. He gives me another smile as I hear a bark. Suddenly seeing Diego behind me, pushing me down the stairs, with Marsh. I ended up landing on top of him, holding myself from his body with my arms as he used his to keep me up. I never thought his face would get so... purple. It must've been the blush. Mine, I knew straight away it was a flushed out red. "Hey."

"Hello," He said quietly as I slipped off him and sat next to him. Diego walked over to us and began licking my face. Aphmau doing the same with Celestia.

"Diego," I chuckled, "You're such a sloppy kisser." I finished with Aphmau saying the same thing to Celeste. I heard everyone near the front door shouting as we just laughed. Celestia ran upstairs and Aphmau followed, Diego sitting down right next to me. "Heh, sorry about Diego."

"It's fine M'Lady," Marsh said and kissed my cheek, "Rules of the mistletoe." I looked up to see the mistletoe hanging over our heads.

"Oh," I said dumbfounded.

"Awww, Marsh, you're cute with your girlfriend," Reese said standing over us.

"Not his girlfriend," I said and Diego pushed me up. I stepped out from under the mistletoe and smiled sheepishly. Marsh following out of the way. Then that pink haired girl stepped out under the mistletoe and cleared her throat to Reese.

"Hello there handsome," She chuckled as Reese looked up. I shook my head and walked off.

"No more mistletoe," I say and left the room.
