Nine Months Later...

"Hi, Melissa!" I chirp as she walks towards Aphmau's house. She stops and turns to me, her eyes lighting up when she sees me.

"Violet!" She calls, running over and hugging me. "How're you?"

"Fine! Are you here to visit Aphmau?"

"Yep! I wanted to tell her that Aaron is ready to finally go to Starlight. We'll be leaving in less than three months!" Melissa says, her cheeks going pink with giddiness.

"STARLIGHT?!" I scream, jumping three feet in the air. "STARLIGHT WONDERLAND?!?"

Melissa grins. "Yep! Aaron and Aph are going soon!"

I beam, clasping my hands under my chin. "I can't wait until they go. They've been waiting for so long... I wish I could be there to see it happen so I can geek about Aarmau's reuniting."

Melissa gives a sneaky grin.

"Melissa....?"

"EEE!" She squeals. "I can't hold it back. You, Zane, Lucinda, Garroth and Kim are all coming to Starlight Wonderland, too!"

My heart stops and my grin stretches to my ears. "SERIOUSLY?!"

"Yes! Dad wants you guys to be there for Aphmau and Aaron, since you were there for him when you didn't have to be at the lodge." Melissa says.

"Technically, I was under a potion." I point out. "But yeah, looking back, I would still be there for him if I was given a choice."

Melissa smiles sadly. "I never did thank you guys. You all went through a lot up at the lodge... especially Aphmau..." She glances towards Aph and Aaron's house, "And you still kept Aaron's secret. And our family's. It means the world to us."

I smile, hugging her tight. "I know. But all I had to do was think of the look on Aaron's face when... when everything happened, actually. No specific moment. He was always just so... determined to get Aph, and the rest of us, back."

"And he always will be. He'd do anything for you guys." Melissa assures me. "He won't stop talking about any of you."

"Mostly Aphmau?" I snicker.

"Mostly Aphmau." She giggles.

"So all of us are going?" I prod.

"Yup! So get packing soon! Or, start packing. Whichever. Just GET READY, CUZ WE'RE GOING TO STARLIGHT, BABY!" She whoops and hugs me, then dashes for Aphmau's house, still giggling hysterically. I shake my head.

Melissa will never grow up.

And hopefully she never loses that part of her.
