True Beauty

Almost all of us have looked inside the mirror one day it another and thought: "are we beautiful. Are we pretty enough?" It's a common concern but what is outer beauty.
Is it having long hair, cream or other fashion products. But than why do Inuit think beauty is being fat while American think of it as begin skinny. Why is there no universal meaning for outer beauty. Does that mean that if we go to one country to another, we have to change ourselves so that people say we're beautiful?

But than lets look at inner beauty. The meaning of inner beauty is having a good heart, bring kind, generous, as well as smiling. Where ever you go inner beauty will remain the same. Similarly, Allah does not look at our outer beauty, he only looks at what is on the inside.

Many of us are so busy trying to show our looks to others so that they think about us in a specific way, trying our hardest to set an image others will praise you for. But many of us also forget that it doesn't matter how much we try to steer people to think a specific way, you will never succeed.

A story comes to mind about a King and a poor man. There was once a king and he decided to go through his kingdom and get to know his people. Everywhere he went, people would run up to him. A time came when he went to a village and saw a poor man who didn't run up to meet him. He went up to that man and asked him "do you not know who I am?" The man responded by saying: "yes I do." The King than asked: "why did you not come up to me?"
The man answered with a story. He said: "some while ago, a king and a poor man died I this village. They were buried side to side. A flood overtook the land they were buried in, causing their bones go scatter. When the people tried to identify who was who, they could not." The King was very deeply moved by this story.

This proves to us that outward appearance does not matter if the inside is no better than a rotten apple. This is why instead of trying to be pretty on the outside, we should try our best to focus on the internal spiritual being inside of us, perfecting our selves in term of piety.
