Cover: The cover is quite plain as it is just the book title on top of a blue background. The only thing that is slightly interesting is that the colour matches the title in a way.

Title: 'Cobalt: The red phantom' is quite an interesting title. It makes me wonder why two contrasting colours have been mentioned together. Who and what phantom is being mentioned here? We can only know that by reading further.

Description: The description actually made me laugh out loud. Káel seems to be quite a relatable character which is good for the readers. The book seems to be quite a wild ride which everyone wants nowadays. Even though this book is about being abducted by aliens, it doesn't come across as childish in any way.

Beginning: It has been described very well. I could feel the magic in the air and got the vibe of the place pretty soon. The prologue is quite mysterious but it does become a little confusing. I feel that the characters should have been given a name in the prologue so that we could have understood what was happening better. The playfulness in the chapter was quite good and it made me laugh again.

Plot: The plot develops at a good pace. The descriptions are great and cobalt as a place sounds great. There were a few confusing parts again such as the random appearance of the cat around chapter 2 or 3. Of course, as we go ahead we wonder when our character will realise the fact that he is interacting with an alien. Every character has their own personality traits and they all are so different from each other. There were quite a lot of grammatical errors so I encourage you to proof read before. There are also a few parts which are a little confusing to the non scientific mind. They could be written in an easier way so that the people who are not good at science but like sci-fi could read the book easily.
