Title- "Phases Eight" is a great title. It makes you want to read more. It makes you question what kind of phases are being talked about here. It definitely makes you want to read the description.

Description- The description is very interesting. I like the fact that the main character's personality traits are listed there, giving us a brief idea of how insane yet strong she is. Everyone wants to read something different yet good and that is what this book promises to us. The only complaint I have is that since you have mentioned the street racer, the book may come across as a cliche love story between a bad boy and a good girl.

Beginning- The prologue starts out well. It is very sad of course but it also gives us a clear idea of what has happened in our characters' past making it easier for us to sympathise and understand them. A few punctuation marks have been missed out here and there but it does not infer with our understanding. The way a few things have been described is beautiful and it is written with such imagery. It makes us picture every scene right in front our eyes.

Plot- A little after the beginning, I felt that the chapters were a little stretched and confusing. I felt that a few parts of the story could have been left out. Quite a few times a different personality would come out but I felt that maybe instead of bringing them in for the comic relief, you should have proceeded with the plot. Of course, the cliffhangers and plot twists that followed left me astonished. I found a few mistakes in the grammar and the vocabulary which could be worked upon. I liked how this story depicted the theme of a broken family in a different way. The ending was twisted and unexpected yet sad. I feel that the ending was one of the best parts because it depicted the characters' development very well and was also written very well. It was quite unexpected yet it depicted how broken the main character's friend was and how much a loved one's death can affect you.
