We had to take a bus back to town.
It took 30 minutes to get back into Paris.
Mandy wasn't as calm as the bus driver was in waiting for anything.
" Can't believe it took thirty minutes to get back into town. The bus driver should have gotten there faster." She says complaining.

" Well you can't blame him for having to drop off other people." I say, trying to calm her a little.
Mandy just rolled her eyes.
" So where are we going to stay the night?" I asked.
" We're spending a night at a friend's house." She says coolly.
"Oh." Was all I said.

We walked though the streets of Paris until we arrived a small house in the outskirts of town.
Mandy, jasmine,and I walk into the house.
" Hey Annie. I am back. I brought a couple of friends with me." She says.
" Oh. Back already. Glad you're home. I can't wait to meet your friends." Annie shouts. Annie walked into the room.
Annie had black hair and green eyes. She wore a flower printed shirt and white jeans with pink shoes.
" Annie. This is Dawn and Jasmine." Mandy says.
" It's nice to meet you, Dawn and Jasmine." Annie says smiling. 
" Here let me show you to your room." She says.
I nod.

I hear Mandy dial someone on her phone.
" So Dawn. I heard rumors about you." Annie says.
" Oh, what kinds of rumors were they?" I say a bit confused.
" Oh nothing bad. Just that I heard you left Dylan to be with another man or you ran away because you grew tired of him. The rumors are endless." She says.
" Sorry to disappoint you but the rumors are not true. I just left to look for my mom's killer and to use my angel powers." I say.
" That's ok. I knew they weren't true the minute I saw you walk into the house." She says cheerfully.
She opened the door to my room.

" Here we are. I hope everything will be to your liking and if you need anything just ask." She says.
Before she can leave, I say " hey Annie. I know this might sound rude but are you an angel?" I say.
She turns to look at me.
" Yes I am an angel." She says.
She winks at me before finally leaving me alone in my room.
