Annie, Mandy, Jasmine, and I walked into town looking for the shop called stardust herbs where we might be able to find tommy. We were walking down a narrow alleyway, passing shops and other markets.
" Hey. I think I found it." Mandy says.
Annie and I both looked back down the alleyway at Mandy.
Mandy was standing in front of a old stone building with an old roof. Hanging from the roof was a sign that said Stardust Herbs.

Annie and I walk up to the building.
" Well should we go inside?" Annie says.
Mandy and I nodded at her in agreement.
Annie walks into the store first.
Mandy and I followed her inside.
The inside of the store was much nicer looking than the outside.
There were tables filled with baskets of herbs.

The shelves were filled with jars of them as well.
Mandy and I looked around the store while Annie went to Tommy's office.
" Tommy, are you here?" Annie says.
" Annie, is that you? Hang on for a minute." Tommy says.
Annie waits for him to done with what ever he was doing.
" Sorry about that. I was storing herbs in the storage unit." He says. 
" That's ok. I know how busy you are." She says.
" Can you close the door? I don't want Dawn and Mandy hearing our conversation." He says.
Annie closes the door to his office.

Mandy and I were looking around the store when I heard something crash onto the ground.
I turned around to see where it came from.
It seemed liked Mandy had knocked over a jar of herbs and it fell onto the ground.
" Mandy. Why did you knock over a jar of herbs?" I say.
" I didn't mean to. I bumped into it and it fell over before I could catch it." She says a little upset.
" Oh yeah. I forgot tell you something. Dylan is on his way here to pick you up." She says.

" What? But I can't go back now. Not until I learned something about my mom's killer and about my powers." I say surprised.
" Fine. Since you're so eager to learn how to use your powers, I'll show you how to move an object with your mind." She says.

She picks up a jar of herbs and sets it on the ground in front of her.
" Come over here." She says.
I walk over to her.
" First you need to focus on the object in front of you." She says.
I focus on the jar.
I just at it for a while but nothing happened.
" That's ok. You're going to get in no time once you practice some more." She says smiling.
I smiled back at her.
Then we heard the door to the store open.
The person who walked was none other than Dylan.
I quickly hid behind Mandy.
" Dawn, stop hiding behind Mandy and come here." He says.
I walk over to him.
" Dawn. Why did you leave New York?" He says.

" I left New York to find my mom's killer. I also wanted to know about my angel powers." I say.
" But you didn't have to lie to do all of this. You could have told me the truth. I would have helped you." He says.
" I know you would have. But why did you keep my angel powers a secret." I ask.
" Well you see, my dad was in love with your mom. He wanted to be with her but it could never happen because your mom fell in love with someone else." He says.
" Who did my mom fall love with?" I say.

" I don't know. My dad never told me that part. All he said was she fell in love with the guy and then just disappeared. My dad then figured out from a letter from her that she had a daughter named Dawn. And that was about it." He says.
" One more thing about my dad was that he was an angel too. Just like me." He says.
I just stood there stunned.

I was shocked that my mom left Dylan's dad for another guy without considering his feelings.
" Dawn. I thought when you left, I thought the same thing had happened to you." He says.
" Dylan. I will never do that to you. I am not like my mom." I say.
" Hey Dawn, I have a question. Why is there a ninetales on your shoulder?" He asked.
" Oh. You mean jasmine? She's my new friend and partner." I say.
" It's fine that you can keep her." He says.

" Dawn. Next time, just tell me when you're going to leave New York to go do something." He says.
" Ok. I will." I say.
I hugged him.
Annie walks out of tommy's office.
" Oh. Dylan. I didn't know you were coming. Mandy didn't tell us." She says looking at Dylan then at Mandy.
Mandy just shyly smiles.

" Oh. Annie what did Tommy say?" Mandy says.
" He said that the best place to look for the person behind all of the crimes is maybe in back in New York."  She says.
Dawn looks at Dylan.
" I guess we get to go back to New York after all." He says.
