(Last Part)

You burst into tears in his embrace. He keeps stroking your hair and kisses your head, erasing all your fear.

“Op..paa.. I’m so afraid. I…”

“Sshhhh… I’m here now…”

Both of you sitting, leaning back on the trees. He is putting his jacket around your body. Jumin doesn’t release his hug for a second. He rests you on his chest. When you can control yourself, you ask him.

“Oppa, why do you know I’m here?”

“When I call you, maybe in accident the answer button was clicked. I can hear your scream. I know something is wrong. Are you okay now? Can you tell me what happen? I was so worried of you…”   he looks at you with very sad eyes.

Then you explain to him what has happened back then in your apartment.

“THAT BASTARD!”   Jumin is really angry and you can see he is clenching his fist.

“I should find him tonight!”   he release his embrace and about to stand up but you stop him.

“NO, oppa! He is a kind man.”

“You still can tell me he is a kind man??”   Jumin stares at you.

“He took care of me trough hard times.” You are not yelling at him but it seems you words has stunned him.

“I can’t even protect you. Damn.”   He throws his fist to the ground.

“You know what. I’m angrier to myself! It is all my fault. You don’t have to pass all those hard times if I treat you better… I…”   he stops his words as you can see the tears in his eyes.

You don’t say a word as you still remember how he dumped you that easy. You hate this. You’ve tried to forget him but in the end he is the one who you can hold on, who you can trust, who you can feel safe with.

“Why did you ask me to meet you?” you break the silence.

“It is already this late. You should go home. Your safety is my priority right now. We can talk about us later.”

His words move the deepest side of your heart. You really miss “this Jumin”. He helps you to stand up and he puts his hand around your shoulder protectively.

 ———

After arriving at your apartment, as what you have guessed before, KimJoo is already gone but he leaves a note on the door. It is written “Sorry. I’ll never disturb your life anymore.” You sigh at his note. You know he is actually a kind man and you are glad if he can be your brother.

Jumin takes you inside and lead you to your bathroom, choosing not to be bothered by that note.

“Take a bath first with hot water.”  he smiles at you gently. A simple smile that sends a vibration to your whole body.

You’re doing what he asked you. After you dress up with a night gown, you headed to the living room. Jumin is there waiting for you. He stands up, walking towards you and push you gently to the bedroom.

“You have to sleep.”   He ordered you to go to bed and he pulls the blanket around you.

“I’ll sleep outside. If anything’s wrong, just find me there.”   He smiles at you and kisses your forehead. You are really amazed of all the things he’s done. You feel all of your self-defense to hate him is now breaking down. You can see the real him, the side of him that makes you love him and makes you willing to wait for him in his super busy days.

He whispers to you before he closes your bedroom’s door.   “I love you.”

You are awaken from your sleep and it is just 3AM. It’s raining really hard outside and the thunder is striking. You hate this kind of weather. You started to be afraid, plus, tonight you are still unstable since  that accident   last night. You decided to find Jumin. But when you come to the living room, it’s empty…

It’s only my dream?

You lose all your strength and falling on the floor. As the thunder keeps striking harder, you started to tear up. But suddenly someone opens your apartment’s door, it’s Jumin.

“Oh my God!”   he quickly approach you, helps you to stand up, and leads you to your bed and hugs you.

“This is not a dream, right?” you say as you stopped to cry.

“I’m so sorry… Jihyun(V) called me all of sudden, I just searched for signals outside. Since it’s raining so the connection is worse.”   He releases his embrace and stands up.

“Go sleep again. I promise to not going out of your apartment.”

But you hold his hand, not letting him go.

“Stay here, Oppa. I’m afraid.” You beg him.

“Please…”

He stuns for a moment then he goes up to your bed, pulling you to his side, leaning your head in his chest. You only need minutes to fall asleep again.

- Next morning –

You can feel the sun shines through your window. You open your eyes and you can see Jumin is looking at you.

“Sleep well?”   he smiles at you gently.

“You already wake up, Oppa?”

“I’m not sleeping. How can I sleep when I can see your innocent face right in front of me?”

You hit his chest playfully. “Liar!”

“Why? It’s true.”   He is chuckling. Suddenly he stops his laugh and holds your hand.

“I’m really sorry… I should’ve been more grateful to have you by my side… I’m such an idiot to ever doubt our relationship, to ever let you go and cheating on you…”   he says as he stares at you tenderly, honestly.

“You’ve been through a hardship with me. You understand me and all my busy works but I end up giving up our relationship.”

“I should’ve been more mature too, Oppa… I…”

“No. You have all your rights to mad at me. I’m the hole of our relationship… But I promise you I would be better as your man. Will you forgive me?”

“I miss you so much, Oppa. No matter how hard I’ve tried to forget you, I end up needing you by my side. Just stay the same. Be Jumin who I loves.” You smile at him.

“I will never disappoint you again. I will never waste the chance you give to me.”

He pulls your chin up and kisses you passionately as you kiss him back. His lips go down to your neck and he whispers   “I miss you more.”
