(*SUICIDE WARNING!*)

The girls awoke to the sound of birds chirping, and got out of bed just minutes later. Emily packed all her belongings and readied herself for the long journey back home. If there even was a place to call home anymore, that is. "You guys ready?" She asked as she turned to see her friends standing with their bags packed, and ready. "I'll take that as a yes!" She said. 

They paid for their room, and left the Inn. They walked through the small town, and saw a courier running towards them, he didn't stop, he ran right into the girls. "I am so sorry!" he apologized quickly. "It's alright, why are you in such a hurry anyways?" Zoe asked, "I'm looking for a few girls...hey! You match the description the wizard gave me!" He exclaimed, "Are you Zoe?" He asked the girl with the spell book in hand. "I am." She replied.

"Here. Gotta run!" He said quickly, and then began running again. Zoe opened the letter, and read aloud: "Dear Ms.Zoe i hope this letter finds you well. You and your friends need to hurry back to Mystic High! Something's happened, and i need your help! Sincearly, Mr.Dunmerb." She read. "The wizard?" Abi asked, Zoe nodded.

"Well, what the hell are we waiting for!?" Emily asked, "Let's go!" She yelled. The girls all began running, they ran out of breath about half a mile later. "We're never gonna get there at this rate!" Abi complained. "Um, i could warp us there?" Zoe suggested. "Your telling me...you know how to warp...and you never told any of us this!?" Emily shouted, "The topic never came up!" She shrugged. They all began laughing. "Your such an ass." Candy stated. 

Zoe grabbed her friends hands, and warped them to the front gates of the town below the school. They looked around, and saw everyone, but something seemed wrong, building were burnt, and there was debris everywhere. The people seemed...off. They stepped into the town, and passed through some form of barrier. 

Suddenly, Emily collapsed on the floor, clutching her head in her hands, she let out a pained scream. Zoe's eyes went white, and a ball of energy shot out of her hands. Candy was swapping between animals, and Abi's hands began growing ivy on them, and then began burning. "What's happening!?" Zoe asked, "I don't know!" Abi replied, her hands starting to hurt and burn up. "There must've been a barrier of some form!" Candy shouted as she transformed into an owl. 

"Emily? Are you okay?" Zoe asked, "I can hear...everyone's thoughts!" She yelled, tears began falling from her eyes, her head filled with the thoughts of every person in the town. She stood up slowly, and tried not to puke. "W-we have to keep m-moving.." She said shakily, and they made their way to the school. 

They reached the gates of the castle, and were careful not to destroy anything on the way there! They tried opening the door, but to no avail. It was locked and barred from the inside. "Crap!" Yelled Emily. "How're we gonna get in?" Abi asked, "Maybe i could use magic!" Zoe said, she tried every spell she knew. But it didn't work. "We have to find another way in." Emily stated and began running to the other side of school. 

"Look! There's a door!" Candy exclaimed, she turned the knob, and it opened! The girls rushed in, and looked around. They were in the basement. It was dark, damp, and gross. "I've never seen the basement before.." Abi said, taking a step closer to Candy. "I've been down here, i used to help Mr.Dunmerb down here all the time!" Zoe said as she led the way. Emily drew her sword, and kept trying to ignore the thoughts of a few hundred people. 

Abi and Candy and Zoe also tried to control their powers. It wasn't easy. "There's the staircase!" Candy pointed out. They darted towards the stairs and ran up them single file. They were in the main hall. "We gotta find the Principal!" Emily stated, Guards rushed into the Hall, and ran towards them. "Hey, stop right there!" They yelled, "They've been brain washed! Run!" Emily yelled, they each took off a separate ways to confuse the guards. 

Zoe took off towards the kitchen, and Candy towards the library, Abi ran to the green house, and Emily went up the stairs towards the artifact hall. Two guards went after each girl. But, since the team was smarter then the dumb guards, they were able to get away from them and lose them somewhere during the chase.

Emily looked at the smashed glass, and the pain in her head got worse. "Damn." She hissed. Zoe felt a pain in her chest, and it spread to her hands, they lit up white, and shot a ball of light into the ceiling. Candy was switching between cat, hawk, and crossbreeds. Abi was setting things on fire everywhere she went, that or making plants grow everywhere. 

Zoe didn't look where she was going, and she ran into someone, she scrambled to her feet and saw an old man. Mr.Dunmerb! "Mr.Dunmerb! Your okay?" She asked, "Yes, i am. Are you?" He asked, Zoe nodded. "What are you doing?" Zoe questioned, "I was trying to see if you had arrived, i sensed a surge of power, i figured you had warped." He stated. "We did, my friends are waiting, i need to run. You'll be safer if you stick with me." She said. 

They began running to the Principals office. Candy was in the hall of artifacts with Emily, Abi arrived soon after. And then Zoe with the wizard. They snuck to office. And there they stood, at the door of Principal Ray's office. "There you are!" A group of guards yelled. Mr.Dunmerb used a spell and pushed them all into a wall, and knocked them unconscious. 

Emily kicked the door in, their weapons and magic were at the ready. Emily looked around the dark room, and saw something in the corner of the room. Abi flipped the light switch, and shrieked at what she saw. Candy felt sick, Zoe gasped, and Emily stood in disbelief.

In the corner of the room, a rope was tied onto a beam, and at the bottom of the rope, a noose was tied. And there hung Principal ray. "what the-" Candy started. "Why would he kill himself?" Abi asked, "This doesn't make sense.." Emily muttered. "Seize them!" The captain of the guard yelled. The guards had cuffed the girls, and Mr.Dunmerb. "Take those treacherous girls to the dungeon! Leave the wizard!" He ordered. 

The girls were escorted to the dungeon and locked in separate, cold, stone cells. The guards pushed them into cells, taking all their weapons away. They locked them, and sealed with with magic. Luckily Zoe had used magic earlier and turned the artifacts into ear rings, which now hung from the girls ears, aside from Candy because the dagger was still missing. So at least they couldn't take those away. 

Emily quickly stood up, she tried to see through the small barred window on the front of the gate. The others had been taken to other cells far away from hers. Boxed in, with no way out, only one way to see out. 

Emily slowly slumped down the door and sat with her back rested on it. "What do we do?" was all she could hear, along with the few hundred other thoughts in her head. She clutched her head again, and began to quietly cry. "I've let them down.." She thought to herself. 

They had no weapons, no way to use magic, and they were probably going to die. But the worst thing to each of them was that they weren't together. The girls always thought that if they went down, it'd be fighting together, side-by-side. Not caged like rats. 

Emily could hear their thoughts, they were scared, and trying to figure out a way to escape. They all knew that was impossible. They needed a plan, but if they weren't together, then how would it work? They needed each other. 

Emily's sobs got louder, and the girls panicked thoughts did too. 

Abi soon started giving up, she sunk to the floor, and sighed. 

Candy sat down, and tried thinking up a plan.

Zoe kept trying to use her magic, trying to find a way out.

Emily didn't want to give up, she tried thinking up ways to get out.

After some time, they all fell asleep from exhaustion. Emily woke up after a nightmare, and didn't fall back asleep, not wanting to hear the screams of her dreams again. Zoe woke up from the same nightmare, and stayed awake. Candy jolted up with the same dream, but managed to fall back asleep, same for Abi. 

Once what they assumed was morning came, guards came down, and took each of the girls to a room. They tied them to chairs, and began questioning them. The brainwashed Captain interrogated them one by one. Zoe looked to her left and right, and saw her friends. She sighed, relieved to see them. 

The Captain started with Candy, "Where are the artifacts?" He asked, "I don't know!" She lied. A guard in the corner shook his head, and the Captain nodded. Candy felt a shock through her body, and she let out a scream. "Where are they!?" He asked a little louder. "I...d-d-on't know." She lied again. And that earned her another painful shock. "Tell me!" The Captain yelled. Candy cried out in pain as she was shocked again.

"She's useless. Take her back to the cell, maybe she'll be more cooperative later." He ordered, and walked over to Abi, "Where are the artifacts?" He asked. Abi kept her lips sealed. He sent a burning sensation through her body. She screamed. "Where are the artifacts you scum!?" He yelled, "We don't have them!" She screamed, "Lies!" He yelled as the burning sensation got worse. Abi let out another pained scream, and collapsed from the pain. 

"Get her out of my sight!" The Captain ordered. He walked to Zoe, "Are you going to tell me where they are, you little-" He was cut off by spit in his eye. Zoe smirked, and kicked him back. Trying to break free, she felt a searing pain in her arm, they had inserted a needle, and began putting a venom into her. She screamed as it seared into her. "I will ask one more time. Where. Are. The artifacts!?" He yelled, "Th-they were destroyed!" Zoe lied. She then felt another prick, and more venom was put into her blood. "Unless you tell me where they are, this venom will kill you slowly, and painfully." The Captain stated.

"Th-they're.." She started. "Yes? where are they?" He asked, "Up your ass to the right." She said sarcastically. Nice to know even though she could die, she still has a sense of humor. The guard slapped Zoe, and pulled her from the chair, "You little-" "Lay one more hand on her and i'll kill you!" Emily yelled. The Captain looked at Emily, and threw Zoe to the side, signaling his men to take her back to her cell. 

"You think you could kill me? That's adorable. Your just a wimpy little girl." He said, Emily clenched her fists and jaw. "I'm not wimpy, and i'm not little, you prick!" She yelled, "Feisty, interesting. Now, since you seem so protective of your friends, you'd better tell me where the artifacts are." He said. "Why do you want them so badly anyways!?" Emily asked. "My master wants them, because when their all together and not contained, they hold an unimaginable power!" He explained. 

"Well, don't get your hopes up, because i ain't gonna tell you where they are!" Emily hissed. "So you know where they are?" He asked, eyes wide. "Crap." She muttered. "Where are they?" He asked, pulling out a knife and holding it to her arm. "If i told you, i'd have to kill you. But once i get outta here, i'm gonna end up doing that anyways." She replied cockily. 

The Captain sliced a cut into her forearm. Emily let out a yelp, "Damn." She hissed. "What were you saying? You were about to tell me where the artifacts were." He said harshly. "I'll die before i tell you!" Yelled Emily. "That can be arranged." He said, and sliced another cut into her arm. Emily hissed in pain again. This went on for a while.

Emily had run out of sarcastic remarks, and she'd lost quite a bit of blood. Another guard took her back to her cell, and threw her in. Emily took off her flannel and held it over the cuts. There were a lot of them.

She figured they would interrogate them until they got what they wanted, but she'd be damned if she gave it to them. She knew the others felt the same way, they'd rather die then give up what they worked so hard to get, just so someone could use them for power.

"But who is their 'master'? Principal Ray did this, right? But he's dead." Emily thought aloud. She sighed, confused, in pain and tired. She fell asleep. Candy and Abi had fallen asleep a while ago, but the gears in Zoe's mind were still turning, she was trying to come up with ideas of who could've done all this. She soon fell asleep, too, though. 

Before they all fell asleep, they thought to themselves;"We need to get out of here, we will get out of here. We can do this."

A/N: Ayyyee! I updated! Happy now!? I really like this chapter, got a little dark and confusing? But i like it! So, if Principal Ray didn't do it, who did? Honestly, i don't really know yet! XD Oh well! I'll figure it out, enjoy! *Sexy end screen dance* XD
