And so they walked out the door, beginning they're adventure. They walked down the steps of the school, to the town, where they could find the underground markets, where the artifacts could possibly be. "So, where do we even start?" Asked Candy. "Well, I think we should split up. Me and Abi, You and Zoe?" Suggested Emily. They all nodded and they headed into different parts of town.

Abi and Emily headed to the eastern part of town, the scummy part of town, where they could hopefully find someone who could point them into the direction of the entrance to the dark markets. "Emily?" Asked Abi, "Hmm?" Emily grunted turning her head slightly to the left to see her friend. "What if we don't find the artifacts? What if we fail? We'll be the laughing stock of the school!" Abi worried. Emily patted her on the back, "Don't worry. We'll find them, return them and probably have killed some dragons on the way!" Emily told her.

Abi nodded and walked on. When they finally reached an old tavern, Emily went inside, "Stay here, if you hear screaming... don't question it..ok?" She ordered Abi, she nodded. Emily walked over to the bar and cleared her throat. The Bartender looked at her, "What'cha want, kid?" He asked in a thick Irish accent. "I'm looking for the dark market entrance. Can you help?" She asked. The Bartender raised a brow, "Kid, it's dangerous down there, you know that right?" He asked. Emily nodded, "I know, but I'm looking for the very important things that were stolen. If I don't find them... I'd might as well not go back.." She told him.

He sighed, "Alright, i'll tell ya. But you gotta be careful down there." He stated, Emily agreed. "Ok, you just head down a few blocks from here and go down the alley way, take a left... you'll come across a door, knock three times and the guard should open it." He told her. "Thanks, um,..?" "Jack! The names Jack!" He said with a smile, she smiled back and headed out the door. She saw Abi peeking through the window, waiting for her return.

"Call Zoe, have them meet u-" "There you are!" She heard Candy call. "We know where the entrance is!" Zoe said with a smile, "I do too!" Emily said smirking, "we did it first you jerk!" Zoe stated. "Uh how about..no? I win because ya suck!" Emily said running away before Zoe could hex her or worse.

The other girls ran after Emily and then followed the Bartenders directions, They went down the street a few blocks and then down the alleyway and to the left. Candy spotted the door first. "Guys! There it is!" She yelled, they ran to it. Emily knocked three times, like Jack said, and it opened to reveal a dunked guardsmen. They walked right past him and headed down the stairs into the dark room. They heard an auctioneer selling things, they walked over to a locked room, "This must be where they keep all the items they're gonna sell." Zoe said. Just then, a guard stepped in front of the door, "What do you think your doing down here?" He asked, arms crossed. "We-.. uh, we were just" Candy stuttered. "We're looking for some stuff that was stolen from us by some low-life!" Emily spoke up.

He looked at her, "And what would that be? Little lady?" He asked, "None of your business, ugly." She stated, crossing her arms, "That's it.." He said stepping closer, Emily drew he sword, "Not one more step, I know you were gonna grab me, throw me and my friends out. You can't outsmart me." She said, holding the sword to his throat. "Zoe break the lock!" She said, Zoe walked over to the door, and used a spell to open it. She then used a sleeping spell on the guard, knocking him out cold.

They all went into the room, and searched, "How are we going to find it in all this crap!?" Abi exclaimed. "Don't whine. We gotta do this!" Emily said and threw stuff around, trying desperately to find the artifacts. A man walked in, the auctioneer it seemed to be. "What are you doing?!" He exclaimed. "Uh oh.." Candy muttered, "We need to find some items, maybe you can help." Zoe stated. "Ok?" The man said. "we're looking for a book, a knife, a sword and a crystal." Candy said, "You mean the artifacts of Mystic high?" He asked. They all nodded furiously. "I sold them all earlier today." He said. "What?!" They all yelled.

"Where did they go?" Emily asked, "Well, the sword was sold to a mountain man, the crystal was bought by an elf from the forest lands and the knife was sold to an ork from the swamps." He informed them. "And the book?" Zoe asked, "Right here." He said grabbing it from the shelf. He handed it over to Zoe, she put it in her pack, "Now. You girls best be off, Harold here won't be too pleased when he awakens.." He said and moved away from the door.

They exited the Market and were now deciding where to go next. "Mountains, forest and swamp?" Abi said. "Where to first?" Candy asked. "I suppose the forest, considering it's the closest." Emily suggested. They nodded and began walking once again, to find the next artifact.

They had to go through the gates, which were guarded. Luckily, Emily knew one of the guardsmen who watched the gate that led to the forest. They finally reached it, after grabbing some supplies from the normal Market. They walked up to the gate, and from a ladder, dropped down a man in armor.

"Emily?" He asked, "Hey, Mark! We need a favor-" She started before she was cut off by Mark hugging her, she had been friends with him before he was kicked out of school, for getting into fights. After he put her down he smiled and asked what she needed. "Well, the artifacts were stolen from Mystic High, we need to get 'em back! Can you let us through the gate to the forest?" She asked, He sighed, "I could get my ass fired for this.... but, you helped me out, so yeah. Go on ahead through!" He said. "Oh! And one more thing, have you seen my buddy? He works in a bar I think? Jack's his name." He asked. "Yeah! I just saw him when I was there! Nice guy!" Emily said, "Ok, good. Thought he got kicked from the town after some stuff happened. Well, be safe! Don't die!" He called after them.

They began, again, walking. "To the Mystic forest of death and doom!!" Emily shouted. Zoe followed behind her, grabbing her phone and playing adventure music. Candy turned into a wolf and trotted along beside them. Abi was skipping beside them, glad to be going to a forest.

This forest was her home when she was little. But what she didn't know was, it wasn't her home anymore. It's changed, terribly. They stopped dead when they saw the forest, what once was green and lush, was now, dark, pitch black, and dead. Tears threatened to fall from Abi's eyes when she saw what once was her home, was now destroyed. To Be Continued.....
