"Are we there yet?"

I bite my lip from laughing at Maddox's irritated face. 

Winning the Superbowl earlier this week, he has had a TON of interviews with reporters and new anchors. It didn't go unnoticed his comment about going to Japan. It seemed every interview brought it up in correlation to me. He would always smile and chuckle the question off. It seems we have been the speculation of the news for the last three days. They even began following around Coach Bridges for comments. He finally made a comment yesterday requesting 'politely' for them to fuck off. He called me immediately speaking loudly about the reporters. My insides were hurting from my attempts to not laugh at him. 

Maddox decided we should take his private plane for the trip but wasn't counting on some family or friend's joining us. He looked like a wounded puppy when he learned who else would be with us on this plane. My uncle, Tyler, Macey and my baby sister would be coming in two days on my uncle's plane. Arabella had to finish up school this week to join me next week. Since it's the middle of the week, my family said they all wait to join us figuring Maddox and I would like some privacy... It didn't go as planned. 

We got to the plane to find Luke standing with his arms wide and a grin on his face. Maddox cursed under his breath in the truck making me take action. I kissed him and told him to be nice. He growled before throwing open his door stomping to his so-called best friend. Loud words were exchanged before Luke told Maddox his mom told him to take a break pulling at his heart strings. I know he has a soft spot for Sheila, Luke's mom. It's impossible not to. We've been on the plane for maybe 3 hours so far... Keep in mind, it's an 18 hour flight. 

Maddox stands up fixing a glare at his childlike friend. His muscles are tense and his fist are tight at his side. I stand up cupping his face forcing him to look to me. His eyes instantly softening. I lean down in my seat getting my snack mix out before chucking at Luke's head. It hits him square in the forehead making Maddox laugh as his friend looks startled. Tugging Maddox's hand, we walk to the rear of the plane. Maddox smacking Luke on the head as we pass. 

"Do I need to put head phones on?!"

Luke hollers over his shoulder. I walk into the room clicking the door before Maddox comments back. He stands there pacing the small width of the plane while I press my back to the door watching him amused. He is muttering under his breath for a few minutes before snapping his head to me. 

"He is insufferable!" 

I snort before giggling at his defeated expression. Pushing off the door, I walk to him wrapping my arms around his neck to bring him in for a hug. He sighs wrapping his tree trunk arms around me resting his head in the crook of my neck. He lifts me up earning a yelp from me and my legs wrapping around his waist. He turns around to fall on the bed, my back pressed to it with him hovering over me. Our eyes connecting while my fingers leisurely trace over his jaw and neck. He groans and falls on me. At this point, I am thankful for my muscles taking the blunt of his weight. His head resting in the crest of my breast where he slowly moves his head getting comfortable. My legs cradling his torso as my fingers move into his hair massaging his scalp. A sigh escapes him as his arms tighten around me. My waist feeling ensnared in his hold. I lean forward to kiss the top of his head before going back to helping him relax. My fingers coming in contact with metal on his neck. My eyes glance down to see my mother's chain making me smile softly. 

Knock Knock

A growl escapes Maddox before he yells out refusing to move. 

"WHAT?!"

"We're out of snack mix." 

I can feel his groan on my chest as I vibrate with laughter. He lifts his head to look at me. His expression showing defeat. 

"Can we open the airlock on him?"

I roll my eyes and press his head back down to my chest making him relax against me. My hands returning to massage him. He doesn't bother yelling back at Luke who takes the hint. We hear his foot steps retreat from the door. I look to the window of the plane trying to figure the time change. Captain told me we would be loosing 14 hours upon arrival. I sigh relaxing against the pillow. 

Maddox's arms untangle from me before gripping my sides under my sweatshirt. My skin feeling electrified by his touch. He lifts his head pushing forward to connect our lips. My arms wrapping around his neck to keep him from moving. Pinching my side earns him a gasp which he takes to dive his tongue into my mouth. It's exploration earning several moans from me. My hands moving from his neck to his shirt tugging on it. Maddox disconnects our lips to chuckle before reaching back to pull it over his head. My hands instantly going to rub over his washboard. 

"Sweetheart..." 

His tone a warning but I don't listen. Cupping the back of his neck, I yank him back down taking all I can... 

The flight becoming sooo much more interesting. We emerged from the confinements of the room when it was dark outside. My legs tingling making them wobble. Maddox's wide grin telling me he was happy with the results. We reach Luke's seat to see headphones on and some loud music coming from them. I walk to the mini fridge to grab a water for me and Maddox. Turning around, I see Maddox taking Luke's headphones off causing him to wake. His eyes blink multiple times from me to Maddox. 

"Damn Kane, didn't know you were a tennis player... all the ball slapping arou- OUCH!" 

Maddox swiftly smacks his head making him shut up. I blush not realizing how loud I was. Maddox notices and walks to me. His hands cupping my face before bringing me into a tender kiss. He tells me to not worry about him. I nod obediently before he takes my hand leading me to a seat before sitting down. He tugs my hand to sit on him. I oblige and cuddle up to his torso. 

"Damn, you two really know how to make me feel single." 

We both laugh earning wide eyes from Luke. 

"Did she.. Did you-" 

"Shut up Luke." 

His tone gravely letting his friend know to stop talking. Luke continues staring for a minute before nodding. I fall asleep some time later and wake to the captain stating we would be landing shortly. Realization dawns on me that we fell asleep in that position. I go to stand up for Maddox's grasp to tighten. He is still asleep and I find it adorable that he won't let me go. 

Luke comes up to our seat stretching before looking down at his friend with a smirk. He winks at me making me confused. His next action catching me off guard. 

"FIRE!!!" 

Maddox springs awake almost dropping me. His eyes searching frantically while his heart pounds out of his chest. I cup his jaw making him breathe before his murderous turn up to Luke. His friend only grins like a fool. Maddox very slowly goes to lift me up as Luke realizes what he is doing. Luke gulps before trying to talk to Maddox. After I am safely in my seat, his large frame rises to tower in the plane.

"Now look man-"

"Run" 

And just like a full grown man screams like Lilo from Lilo and Stitch and takes off to the back of the plane. A flight attendant peering out to check as Luke throws the door shut to the bedroom and locks it. Maddox bangs on the door until an idea comes to his mind. 

"You have NOWHERE to HIDE! You have to get off this GOD DAMN PLANE!" 

The attendant gulps as Maddox's still raging form turns around. She takes a step back letting us know to buckle up. He sits back down beside me as the plane takes it entry down. Maddox's fingers laced with mine. Bringing our hands to his lips to kiss my hand softly. I smile still looking out the window to the view. He leans over checking the view as well. His breath making goosebumps appear on my neck.
