Maddox's POV

"Dude, are you even paying attention?"

My head looks over to Luke sitting in the seat of my truck. He has been talking about the new player ever since we left the stadium. We just got done having a bite to eat and I told him I wanted to head to the gym for a bit. He said he would come along. I pull up next to this nice black motorcycle where I see two girls on it. The girl in the back looks young while the driver looks slightly familiar. She doesn't have a helmet on and you can see her dark hair has been wind tossed. I let my gaze fall down her figure before I feel Luke's body lean towards me making look over to him. 

"Damn.." I shove him back in his seat as the light turns green. The bike taking off as we head towards the gym. "So you ready to have your sister move back home."

"Yes." I answer truthfully. She just got out of a toxic relationship that was long overdue. She only stayed with him in hopes that he would fix his mistakes for the sake of my niece but he didn't. He continued to screw up which led my sister to start new. She recently found a job with some designer helping her with a fall line. I was excited for her and for having my niece around. 

"Your parent's will be excited to see both Cassie and your niece Jackie." I nod my head as we pull up. I unbuckle before getting out of my truck throwing my bag over my shoulder. Luke doing the same as we walk into the gym. The gym has been around for years and all the greats have worked out here. It has a dance studio upstairs and a gymnastic gym in the very back. It is closed off though and I have never seen anyone in it. We head back to the lockers before getting changed and heading to the machines. 

"So Kane, can I-"

"Nope" I say cutting him off before he ask me about meeting my sister again. He has liked her for years but I don't want her jumping into anything to soon and especially with one of my teammates at that. 

"You don't even know what I was going to say." He says sitting down with his hands wrapped up ready to box. I look at him raising a single eyebrow with a bored expression. He gets the hint raising his hands in defeat before getting up walking over to punching bag as I get back to my weights. A little over an hour goes by before everyone in the gym looks to the back. I get up walking over seeing the lights turning on through out the whole back gymnastic part of the gym.

 The rest of the guys also looking through the window seeing a few figures walk into the gym. I am about to walk away when one figure catches my eye. Damn, it's her again. I stand there crossing my arms across my chest as I feel Luke come stand beside me. We watch as she removes her zip up jacket only in a sports bra and sweats. I hear some the guys in the gym making sly comments while I just continue looking towards her intently. She stretches her legs and arms before walking over to the beam. She gets on and begins doing flips likes they are nothing. The guys now whistling in the gym. I look over seeing all of them looking at her. Luke has his own heated gaze on her. I look back seeing her do a flip landing on her feet as the few people in the gym clap at her. She then looks up seeing all of us looking in at her however her gaze locks with mine. I can't help but continue to stare right back. Her friends run up hugging her making her break her gaze as I continue to look towards her curiously. I wonder who she is? 

"That was impressive." Luke says before walking away as I follow giving her one last glance to see her look at me as well. She gives me one nod which I return before turning away from her walking back over to the treadmill. I continue to work out as some of the guys continue to stare at her. After about another hour I am beat and ready to go home. Luke is already sitting near the back waiting for me to finish. I get out of the locker rooms walking back over to where Luke is sitting. He is looking in the gymnastic room again. I walk over to him seeing the same girl now doing flips on the bars. Her family playing in the foam pit as they watch her. She lands what I believe to be a double flip before they throw foam blocks at her. She throws them back before diving into the pit with them. I slap Luke's shoulder and tell him lets go. 

"Who do you think she is?" Luke ask as soon as we get in the truck. I shrug my shoulder. "She must have a lot of pull to get the gymnastic room turned on for her and to herself." 

"Doesn't matter man, we need to get ready for tomorrow. We got a new player to work in." 

Luke nods his head effectively ending the conversation about the mysterious woman. I continue driving as Luke rambles on,my mind drifts back to the woman from the gym as I can see her doing flips on bars and on the beam. 

BEEP BEEP

My thoughts abruptly come back hearing the honking of a car behind me. I look up seeing the light has turned green. Luke gives me questioning look which I don't give into. I just take off heading towards his house. I drop him off before heading to my own condo. I pull into the private parking lot before walking into the condo. The doorman nods at me as he opens the door for me. I head up to my penthouse as the girls in the elevators give me suggestive glances. I don't give them a glance and straight to my floor. Don't get me wrong, I am not gay but I find girls that are desperate to be extremely unattractive. I walk into the shower before heading to bed. My head hitting the pillow, I sigh before my final thoughts go to the brunette from the gym.
