Zethora's POV

"Sis, we're almost home!" 

I glance out the window of the plane seeing us slowly descending from the sky. I look around to see my uncle and Tyler talking in the seat beside mine and Arabella's. Derek is still snoring softly in the seat behind us. Coach decided to stay in Texas to finish some business with the board and told me he would meet back in Wisconsin in a few days. 

The trip was eventful. Friday night when we got there, we went on an adventure of Houston looking at some of attractions of the town. We were all back in the hotel room early enough for me to prepare myself for the tryouts on Saturday. The tryouts felt incredible even with the mini interrogation... Can't wait to talk to Maddox about that! Note the sarcasm. Tyler received the call from my coach to get back while we were running. We practically sprinted back and Arabella, Derek, and my uncle were all grinning before they threw confetti upon our arrival. Tyler was the first to gather me in his arms. So there we were standing in the hotel room, covered in sweat with confetti sticking to us as we all celebrated. Derek decided to take me out for drinks after that along with Tyler. We were at sports bar watching the Packers game and drinking. We got back to the hotel and crashed. 

I woke up this morning ready to leave for the airport quickly. I felt giddy to see Maddox and Fox. The last few weeks, I feel I have grown extremely close to them. Maddox's home becoming a second home to me. Arabella was happy for me which surprised me slightly. When I questioned her, she gave me the simple reply, "I want you to fall in love Z... and to be loved back!" 

'Ladies and Gentlemen, if you could please buckle as we begin our descend into Madison. Thank you!'

I buckle up and check to make sure Arabella's is secure as she smiles softly at my actions. I point back at Derek and Arabella whistles waking him up abruptly. I chuckle silently at him as he looks like a deer caught in head lights. Arabella tells him to buckle up which he does. 

I feel the slight jolt letting me know that we have landed before the buckle lights are turned off. I am quick to the door leaving my bags behind. The stewardess opens the door and I practically sprint down the stairs seeing a familiar black truck sitting there on the private runway. The door opens on the driver side and the man of my dreams jumps out. I run over to him and am quick to jump in his arms wrapping my legs around his waist. I feel him chuckle against my neck but holds me equally as tight. 

"God, I've missed you Z..." His husky voice dances on my ear making me shiver in his grasp. 

I pull back and am quick to crash my lips against his. He braces the back of my neck as my own fingers weave into his golden locks. I feel him turn and push me up against the truck firmly pressing his body to mine. His lips devouring mine in a possessively passionate kiss. 

AHEM

He pulls away reluctantly as we turn our heads slowly to see my uncle, Tyler, Derek and my sister standing there. Derek's hand firmly over my sister's eyes as he grins widely. My uncle is smirking while Tyler looks agitated clenching his jaw. 

"Alright babygirl, you found your man. Now I'm going to go get mine!" Derek says waving while turning my sister around with him. My sister waving but not turning back around. 

"Zeth- Z, you staying with him tonight?" Tyler asks catching himself from saying my name. Maddox looks to me for confirmation. I nod my head and Maddox grins widely and pull me tightly against his chest as I wrap my arms around his neck. I just now realized that he still has me pinned to his truck. I feel the heat creep up my cheeks as I wiggle showing him I want down. He understands and gently puts me on my feet. 

I walk over hugging my uncle first and kissing him on the cheek. He kisses me back before walking towards their car. I then look towards Tyler who looks like he wants to say something but is debating it. I relax my shoulders and walk up putting my forehead to his. His body automatically relaxing as he takes a deep breath. I pull away and kiss his forehead. He smiles at me and kisses my forehead in return. He then turns to Maddox giving him a nod. "See you in the morning Kane." 

"See you soon man!" I wave as he walks into the waiting vehicle before turning back around to Maddox. He is leaning against his truck with a smile teasing his lips. His thick arms crossed across his chest showing off his incredibly ripped muscles. "Come here sweetheart." 

I am quick to jump back into his arms and lay kisses all over his face making him chuckle at my antics. He yanks on my ponytail gently so he can look in my eyes. I fall once again into the trance I always seem to. His gold orbs sparkling and swirling like melted gold. Fuck, he is gorgeous! 

He opens the passenger door and I just now realized he walked me around to the other side of the truck. He chuckles amused noticing my confusion. He places me down before swiftly making his way over to driver side. 

We make to his home quickly and the moment we pull in, I see a car in his driveway. I turn back to Maddox with a questionable look. He looks to the vehicle as well and his own confusion is evident. We get out and he takes my hand as I wrap my other hand around his bicep pressing my body to his side. 

Damn it Fox! Stop chasing me you demon dog!!!

I giggle softly hearing the familiar voice of Luke wafting through the door. Maddox grumbles under his breath as he opens the door. We then see Luke running with a growling Fox on his tail. The moment she hears the door, her head snaps to us and her ears perk up. Her tails goes a mile a minute as she runs to me. I kneel down opening my arms wide and bracing for impact. I run my fingers all through her fur as she purrs almost like a kitten in my arms. 

"HOW the HELL did you do THAT?" Luke whines like a child throwing his arms at Fox who is still securely in my arms. 

"What are you doing here?" Maddox deadpans tossing his keys in a dish to the side. I stand back up as Fox sits down beside my leg. I look back at Luke who seems to be playfully glaring at me. He points at me ignoring Maddox's question. 

"Are you a dog whisper? I think that's a thing." He says rubbing his chin thoughtfully as I just smile amused. 

"Again, What. Are. You. Doing. Here?" He emphasizes each word before wrapping his arm around my waist firmly. 

"You left me man, I didn't know I was supposed to leave." I look up at Maddox who is pinching the bridge of his nose. 

"I told you Luke, I was picking up Z and that we had plans." Luke pouts and crosses his arms like a toddler. 

"Well jeez, I didn't realize that I couldn't be part of the plans."

"Luke..." Maddox draws out his name in a warning. I rub his bicep trying to soothe him. He still stands rigid but tries taking a breath.

"I get it, I get it... I'm leaving man. Plus Fox doesn't care for me too much." 

He walks up to me before quickly pecking my cheek and running out the door laughing loudly. Maddox releasing me about to pounce on him before deciding  to quickly locking the door behind him instead. I giggle at him and he is quick to turn around smiling. He walks back to me wrapping me in his arms. 

"I've missed that sound sweetheart..." 

He is quick to throw me over his shoulder as Fox begins doing laps around us barking. I continue giggling even though he is rubbing my ass before he gently slaps it. I gasp and then reach down pinching his firm buttocks. He yelps and I laugh. He tosses me on the couch with a huff. He is quick to get on top of me caging me below his strong body. 

"I have a LOT I went to ask but right now... I need to kiss you."
