Apparently Aria, the champion of the region, had been spotted. Cloud was asleep in the nearby center while everyone watched the champion walk through the Town. It was known that two dangerous teams were lurking, but she looked angry. Cloud eventually slipped out of the center, managing to lock eyes with the champion. They had a silent conversation before breaking eye contact. He headed for the gym while she headed right at the cluster of grunts.

Cloud watched from afar as the others talked about the champion's mysterious rage. Bellsprout, now a Weepinbell, glanced at him as he hummed.

"Let's go."

Oat spotted the boy already leaving town. He knew he had gone to the gym already, but did he not see the champion?
