Pokemon: no legendaries or evolved pokemon. You can have two pokemon as long as they can evolve, but only one if it doesent evolve. As well, you can only choose pokemon from the region your race is from. One more rule: you cant have fossilized pokemon or futuristic pokemon due to the fact they weren't discovered until modern times. ( futuristic is like rotom or porygon) For example, if you hail from kanto, you can have a bulbasaur and a pikachu or a farfetched. If you are wondering, you can befriend pokemon from other regions in the RPG, but try to keep a maximum of only 6 befriended pokemon.
Items: no super OP items like ultimate sword or keystones and mega stones- you'll find them in your travels.
Looks:
Skills: if one of your skills matches one of your races skills you'll be really good at it. A hoen character can use healing magic or swordsmanship but won't be the best at it.
