Forensic lab

A huge lab with different chemicals in flasks and medical science equipment. Myra, what i had already examined the things, was waiting for his boss's report now.  He was examining the body and other samples.  

In the meantime, the team walked into the lab for further enquiry. Team was led by ACP Ronit. He gave a look at Suhas. He was about to ask something but Myra signaled him to be quiet. 

They waited for a few minutes, till Suhas had completed his examinations.

He lifted his neck and looked at the team. "You got no chill! it's Sunday and you brought a new case. " He complained, looking at Ronit. 

Ronit smiled at his antics but his expressions changed soon. "Let it be. Just tell me how she was killed?" He sighed deeply. 

"Have some patience, buddy. Let me examine first." Suhas looked at Ronit and shook his head in disbelief.

"Sir this baby was poisoned with rat poison." Finally Myra spoke with disgust on her face.

It came as a shock to everyone present there.

Dushyant shut his eyes for a moment and looked at Myra."I need a proper report as soon as possible. I'll make sure, these people will be hanged till death." 

Ronit sighed deeply." Stop being an emotional fool,Dushyant. Go to the grounds and investigate more." He ordered. Dushyant sighed positively and moved out of the lab with other members.

Here at the beach side, Sachin and Anamika already went to the slum areas as told by the shop vender.  Sachin and Anamika were asking people about the baby by showing her a picture. But everything went vain.

"Sir, how can it be possible? No-one recognizes this girl. This is hell shocking." Anamika said with irritation.

Sachin looked at her."Maybe they are lying or maybe we asked the wrong person?" 

Anamika nodded."I guess we will head back to the bureau." 

Sachin nodded positively. They headed back to the bureau empty-handed. Within no time They reached headquarters.

Ronit was in much anger as everyone came empty handed. Vineet Dushyant and Ruhana were standing with their heads down. 

"Applause to the best team ever, Great! After almost 8 hours we are still in the dark." Ronit said sarcastically.

Meanwhile Sachin and Anamika entered. They examined the environment inside which was tensed beyond their expectations.

"Sachin Anamika, any information?" Ronit asked directly with anger in his tone.

Sachin hung his head down." We are sorry sir. We didn't get anything yet." He said in a low tone.

Ronit growled at him."one more failure,great. You are good for nothing. Should I hire new officers?" His anger was totally visible in his tone.

"Sorry for the interruption team, " A newcomer drove everyone's attention towards him.

"Yes!!" Ronit asked in anger.

"That baby's name was Pari, given by those slum kids who used to beg at signals. That was a group of four kids. Raju, elder among all, is head of the team followed by Mili and then two toddlers Luv- Kush. The whole report is inside this file." The girl just entered and submitted the report to Ronit.

"Introduce yourself!" Ronit said while grabbing the file.

"Inspector Angel  reporting on duty sir." She smiled.

"You were supposed to report tomorrow?" Ronit looked at you suspiciously.

"Sorry sir, but I got to know about this. Myra sent me a picture of the baby. Wheni came to Mumbai a few months back I saw this baby with those kids so it was easy for me to access this information. So here is the report. " Angel said with all confidence.

Ronit smiled at her." Good work officer. Learn from her."  

Everyone stood silent. " Sachin,take a look and start an investigation." Ronit forwarded the file towards him, Sachin grabbed the file and Ronit moved into his cabin.

"Learn from her, " Angel winked at Sachin and slightly crashed her shoulder to his in order to tease her. Sachin gritted his teeth.

'Why she made a comeback in my life, jeez!!' Sachin thought in anger.

" Sachin, let's check the file and start working on the case.we really need to solve this case." Vineet said and grabbed a file from Sachin's hand who was still lost in thoughts.

"Sachin where are you lost?" Vineet shook him a little. This made Sachin out of his thoughts.

"Nothing,just like! What's in the file?"  Sachin asked.

Vineet read the file thoroughly. "Sachin, we are going to the traffic lights of Juhu. We'll  find those kids there." He said.

"Fine, but we have to check all the nearby signals." Sachin said.

"Then we'll split into two. You, Dushyant and this new girl will go together and I , Anu will go with Vineet." Ruhana spoke and everyone nodded positively.

"My name is Angel Officer, not the new girl." Angel grinned at her.

"Whatever. You'll go with Sachin."  Ruhana smiled.

"Anu and Dushyant, I'm coming with you two. Sachin will join these two." Angel said with arrogance.

"Stop ordering me. "Sachin said angrily.

"Never mind. Anu, Dush follow me."  Angel marched out of the bureau, followed by Dushyant and Anamika.
