Iri's POV

It's been two weeks since Nue's incident. I was afraid she would act like that again. I asked her about the incident the day after, but she said she doesn't recall anything. Right now, she was training with Julia. As for me, I was in the archives, looking for some information on Nue.

I went through the H's in the history section, looking for 'Houjuu'. I need to find out what she was and why her eyes were glowing. I love my imouto and I really want to help her. I continued to look through the section. After a while of searching, there was nothing.

I went through the whole 'H' section and I couldn't find 'Houjuu'. This doesn't make any sense. Why isn't Nue's name in here? I went over to a window and looked up at the sky. Some of the clouds were trying to block the sun.

I looked down towards the ground and gasped when I saw Nue running out of the castle, wearing a tan cloak. What the hell is she doing?! I ran out of the archives and out the front door. I jumped into the trees to keep myself hidden and to find out where Nue was going without her spotting me.

Where the hell is she going? Is she running away? I didn't want to call out to her because I wanted to find out where she was going. I masked my chakra so she wouldn't find me too quickly. After a few more minutes of chasing Nue, she began to slow down.

I stopped when I found myself in a flower field. This is where she wanted to go? This is why she ran off in such a hurry? I looked around the field, seeing it was filled with lilies, daisies, roses, etc. I sat on the branch as I watched Nue walk around the field.

She actually looks pretty relaxed. Nue sat down and started smelling a red rose. After she walked around for a bit, she stopped, fell back, and gazed at the sky. Her snake, Kiyoshi, slithered towards Nue and rested himself near her chest. 

Nue smiled at him before closing her eyes. I frowned at the snake. Why did Orochimaru give her that snake and how did he know snakes were her favorite animal? It's like he's been watching her this whole time... Has he been doing that?!?!

I looked down at Nue when she yawned. I wanted to go down there and ask her about her past. You know, like asking her where her last name, Houjuu, came from and if she had any siblings before she lived with us. Stuff like that.

I saw Nue's cloak move a bit, meaning her wings or tails moved. "Who's there? I can hear you." Nue said emotionlessly as her eyes were still closed. Crap! Did she notice me already? I didn't even unmask my chakra! I turned my head when I heard a bush rustle.

A man stepped out of the shadows, revealing himself. He had short black hair and brown eyes. He also had a sword attached to his back. "Who are you? What do you want?" Nue asked, lazily, her eyes still closed. "Are you Nue Houjuu?" He demanded.

"Who wants to know?" She asked emotionlessly. Her hand went to Kiyoshi and petted his head gently. Nue was completely unfazed by the ninja's presence. Why doesn't she do anything? "My name is Genshi. My master ordered me to claim you." He said calmly.

"Master?" Nue repeated, her voice still emotionless. "And who would that be?"

"That information is classified. Now, are you going to come with me willingly or will I have to take you by force?" Genshi said. His voice sounded like he regrets his mission. Nue sighed as she sat up and continued to pet her snake's head.

"If I don't go with you willingly, will you kill me?" Nue asked. "That's up to you." Genshi said as he took out his sword.

Nue emotionlessly blinked her red eyes before turning her head towards Genshi. "Sorry, but I don't plan on going with you. I guess that means we fight to each other, right?" Nue said as she stood to her feet. I took the opportunity to look at Genshi's headband. He's a Sound Ninja.

"I don't get it. You're just a kid. How can you gain so much power?" Genshi asked Nue. "I don't gain any power. I'm just me. Now..." Nue turned around held out her hand. "Shall we dance?" She said with a smirk. I sweat dropped. She's being cocky.

Genshi stared at her before taking a stance with his sword in hand. Nue's snake wrapped around her arm as Nue stared at Genshi with a frown. I decided to sit this one out and see what Nue could do. I mean, she has been training a lot and she's become a lot stronger now.

Nue's POV

"Are you ready?" Genshi asked me. I just stared at him as I took out a kunai. I didn't move nor did I speak. "If you're not going to make the first move, then I will!" He said, throwing shuriken at me. I blocked them with my kunai and threw shuriken at him.

He blocked them with his own sword. He jumped in the air and did some hand signs. "Ninja Art: Poison Fog!" He shouted as he breathed out a purple fog. I was caught in it and held my breath. I quickly did some hand signs. "Water Style: Great Whirlpool!"

Water spitted out of my mouth and into the air, creating a whirlpool. Soon, the fog cleared out and the water came down, as if it was raining. I looked around to find Genshi. Where'd he go? I know he couldn't have run off like that.

"You're pretty strong for a kid." I heard Genshi say. I looked around, trying to find him. "But you won't be standing once I'm through with you!" Shit, he's behind me! I jumped away as he tried to swipe me with his sword.

I took out a scroll and summoned my trident that Sharon gave me for my birthday. "Do you think that puny thing will do anything?" He said with a frown. "Yes." I answered, my voice emotionless. We charged at each other and our weapons clashed, fighting for power.

But due to my height, he was winning. "You're a noble fighter." I commented. "You're pretty good yourself." Genshi said back. A smirk formed on his face before saying, "But not good enough." He kicked my leg, making me kneel on my knee.

He grabbed the back of my cloak, pulled me into the air, and slammed me on the ground, on my back. I coughed up a little bit of blood when my back made impact with the ground. Kiyoshi hissed, as if telling me to get up.

I did a Chinese getup, then looked around, looking for Genshi. "Water Style: Acid Spit!" I heard him yell from behind me. I couldn't dodge it in time, so I got hit. Luckily, it only got my cloak. I watched as my cloak burned away, revealing my wings and tails.

"Shit." I muttered under my breath. When Genshi saw my wings and tails, he stared at me in fear. "Just what the hell are those things?" He asked. He dropped his sword. I understand he's afraid of me. "You're afraid." I stated. "And you're a freak!" Genshi said.

"I know, but I'm no different from you. You shouldn't have to be afraid of me. I haven't killed you." I said, trying to reason with him so he wouldn't have to be afraid of me. "You're a freak! A monster!" He shouted at me.

I clenched my fist. I've had enough of this. I'm sick and tired of everyone calling me those names.

Freak.

Monster.

I'm sick of it all.

"Then, just die." I said coldly. I felt something powerful grow inside me. It was cold, dark, yet powerful, and it felt good. "Now it's my turn to make you spill blood." I said coldly. I did some hand signs. "Dark Style: Black Abyss." A black hole appeared above us.

I don't know how I knew that jutsu and frankly, I don't care. The black hole back to suck up everything. The trees, the flowers. Everything. I doubt I'll see those things again. I stood my ground and watched Genshi run away.

"Oh, no you don't! Get back here, Genshi!" I yelled at him. "Dark Style: Shadow Tentacles!" I shot my arms out and they turned into black tentacles. The tentacles wrapped around his arms and waist.

I laughed coldly as I made the tentacle wrap around his mouth so he wouldn't scream. Oh, this is going to be fun. I looked at the black hole as it got bigger, making me smirk. "Goodbye, Genshi. I'll see you in Hell." I said before tossing him into the black hole.

Well, he would've have gone in, but someone tackled him out of the way and slid across the ground. I frowned when I saw it was Iri who saved Genshi. "Nue, you can't do this!" Iri called to me. "You think I care about his wellbeing?! Everyone who thinks I'm a freak or a monster should go die!" I shouted at her.

Iri quickly hugged me, causing both of us to fall on our knees. "Please, snap out of it, Nue. I know this isn't you. Please come back to me." Iri said. I frowned and tried to get her to let go of me. "Let go of me, you bitch." I growled.

"Nue, I know you're in there. I know you can hear me. Please snap out of it." Iri begged. Suddenly, I felt my dark power leave me. What the hell? What happened to it? Where did it all go? The black hole closed and two tress fell on their side.

"Just what the hell are you! Y-You monster! I'll tell everyone! Everyone will know the truth about you!" Genshi screamed before running off. From the tone of his voice, he was in fear. I'm so screwed. I felt weak all of a sudden.

I leaned on my older sister for support. "Nue, we have to get out of here." Iri said. I didn't move. I felt too tired to move. Iri picked me up and put me on her back. I felt dazed. I didn't bother talking as I tried to process what just happened here.

Iri carried me all the way back to the castle as Kiysohi rested his head near my neck. Once we reached the castle, she ordered Julia to take me to my room. Julia took me from Iri and carried me up to my room, bridal style. She gently set me on my bed.

"Are you alright, Nue-sama?" she asked me. I didn't answer. I just stared at my ceiling. "That will be all, Julia. Thank you." I said, once I found my voice. She gave me a bow, then left the room. I looked at Kiyoshi as he slithered near my head.

"Do you know what happened?" I asked him. He stared at me. I don't think he knows. But that power I had... It was incredible. I wonder if I can do it again. If I could feel that way again. That would be awesome, but it would also be scary.

I raised my hand in front of my face. That power I had felt so good, but it also felt wrong. It wasn't me. It didn't... feel like me.

Luna's POV

Iri told me everything of what happened in the woods. Nue's identity has revealed and now everyone will know what she is. What should I do? She's not safe here anymore. "What should we do, Milady?" Sharon asked. "I don't know." I replied.

"Well, we have to do something! If we don't, the ANBU will come and take her away!" Iri said out of panic. I closed my eyes and thought for a moment. "We have to get her away from here, Mother! She's not safe!" She shouted. "Lower your voice, Iri." I told her.

"But what should we do? People will come here and kill her!" She said. "I know that! Even if I were to send her away, where will she go?" I said to her, raising my voice a bit as I snapped my eyes open. That shut her up. Though, she's right.

Nue is not safe here. No matter where she goes, she'll always be in danger. "Milady," Julia spoke up, getting our attention. "Perhaps there is a place where Nue-sama will be safe. The Leaf Village, maybe?" She suggested.

I thought about it for a moment. "No, she can't stay there." I said, finally. "Why can't she stay there? No one will suspect her." My eldest daughter argued. "She'll never be accepted there! The Hokage will throw her out!" I argued back.

That wasn't the reason why I didn't want Nue to go there. I just don't want her going out there by herself. I didn't want her to leave. I swore to protect her. "We can give him a note, explaining her situation." Sharon explained.

"I told you, it won't work! Nue will be thrown out before she'll get a chance to explain herself!" I snapped. "Okaa-san," I looked at the stairs and saw Nue coming down the stairs. "Mother, we have to do it. What other choice do we have?" Iri said.

"What's going on?" Nue asked as she walked over to us. "Nue, there's something we have to tell you." I said to her. "You're going to make live somewhere else, aren't you?" She replied. I was taken back by her statement. "I heard you and Iri talking." Nue confessed.

"Nue, if we don't send you somewhere else, you'll die here."

"So? I can fight. I'll fight those ninjas before they can take me away."

"They won't take you away, I promise." I said, putting my hand on her cheek.

"Then, what's going to happen to me?" Nue asked.

I sighed sadly. "I'm sending you to the Leaf Village."

"The Leaf Village? I don't know anyone there." Nue stated.

"I know you don't." I said.

I embraced her. It hurt me that I had to let Nue go. The worst part is, I might never see her again. I didn't want to let her go. I want to always be there for her. "Nue, it's for your own safety. I don't want to lose you, but... I don't think I have a choice." I said, tears escaping my eyes.

"I'm not leaving. I don't want to leave. I'll be all alone again." Nue said. I hugged her even more. "Nue," I whispered. "I'm going to take Nue upstairs." Iri offered. She took Nue's hand and led her to her room. My poor child...

Forgive me...

Nue's POV

Iri and I were in my room, packing my bags. I can't believe I have to leave my home. "I think you'll make lots of new friends at the village, Nue." Iri said. I didn't answer as I folded my shirts. I know she was trying to cheer me up, but how am I supposed to smile when I might never see her again?

Once my bag was packed, I headed down the stairs. I didn't say anything as I made my way to the door. Julia held my black hooded cloak as she was by the door. "Thank you, Julia." I said, taking the cloak from her.

Iri hugged me tightly. "I'll miss you. Please be safe." She whispered, hearing her voice crack a bit. I hugged her back. Iri broke the hug, then stuffed something inside my cloak. "Don't look at it until you get to the village." She whispered in my ear.

I nodded and hugged her again. Then, I hugged my maids and smiled sadly at them. "Be safe, Nue-sama." They said in unison. I nodded slowly and Julia kissed my forehead. "I'll miss you all." I said to them. Okaa-san hugged me tightly and I hugged back.

I heard her sniffle. "I love you. I promise, nothing will happen to you. I will watch over you." She said. I could tell she was trying to hold back her tears. "I'll be safe. I promise. Besides, I have Kiyoshi with me." I told her.

I broke from our hug and she smiled at me sadly. She kissed my forehead, then handed me a map. "This map will lead you to the Leaf. Sharon will be there to guide. However, she won't be able to go far." Okaa-san explained. 

I nodded my head, saying I understood. Sharon and I walked out the door, then looked back at my family.

All of them held sadness on their faces. "Nue-sama, we must take our leave." Sharon said. "Right, sorry." I said. I waved to Okaa-san, Iri, and Julia, then headed off with Sharon. I was leaving the place I called home, the place where I called my safe haven.

Will I ever see them again? After walking for about two miles, Sharon had to stop. "This is about as far as I can take you, Nue-sama." She said. I hugged her. "Goodbye, Sharon. I'll miss you." I said. "As will I, Nue-sama." Sharon replied, hugging me back.

I let go of her, then headed off on my own. I hope no one gets hurt because of me. I started walking forward as I looked at the map my mother gave me. I thought about what Iri said. Will I really make new friends while my stay in the Leaf?

I doubt it. Besides, who would want to be friends with a freak?
