I spent the new few days at the Hyuga Clan. I didn't feel ready to go home yet because I was still a little shaken up from my disturbing past. But I didn't see all of it. I didn't even get to see the night my clan was murdered.

"Nue?" Hinata said from behind me. "Yes?" I answered, turning my head to see her. "How are you feeling?" She asked, sitting next to me. "Oh, I'm fine. Just... a little lost." I said. My wings and tails were out, but Hinata was okay with it.

The day after I arrived here, I accidentally had them out and Hinata saw them. Surprisingly, she wasn't disturbed by them, so I trusted her. "May I touch them? Your tails, I mean." She asked. "Go ahead." I said, granting her permission.

She gently touched my tails. "Weird, aren't they? I don't blame you for feeling uncomfortable, Hinata. I think you have every right to be afraid of me. I'm a freak." I said. "I don't think you're a freak, Nue. I think you're just misunderstood. You're just someone who wants people to understand your situation." Hinata said.

"Funny. I remember saying something like that to Gaara," I stared at the ground with a small smile. "Thanks, Hinata." I said, smiling at her. She smiled back. "Any time." She replied.

The next day, I was feeling a bit better and was ready to go home. I thanked Hinata for her hospitality, then left the Hyuga Clan. I was walking back to my house until I spotted Squad 7 and Iri.

"Well? Do you wanna see it?" I heard Naruto ask. "See what?" Sasuke asked. "Kakashi-sensei's real face." Naruto said in a creepy way as he held a flashlight under his face. Sakura freaked out and punched him on the head.

"His face?" Iri repeated in confusion. "What about Kakashi's face?" I asked, walking over to him. "Nue!" Iri cheered, then hugged me. "Where have you been?! I've been worried sick about you! You haven't been home in days!" Iri said.

"I didn't mean to worry you. I'm sorry." I said, bowing my head to her, apologetically. Iri smiled and hugged me once more. "Just don't scare me like that again." She said. "I won't scare you like that again. I promise." I said.

"Anyway, aren't you curious to see Kakashi's face?"

"No, not really."

"Why not?" Naruto asked. "Because it's not exactly our business. Maybe Kakashi-sensei has a reason why he keeps his face covered." I said. "Come on, Nue. What if he's hiding something juicy?" Iri asked. "You sound like Guy-sensei?" I deadpanned. 

"This is stupid. I'm outta here." Sasuke said, then walked away. "What if he has blimp lips?" Naruto asked. Sasuke stopped walking. I could tell he was thinking it over. Iri smirk. "Looks like he needs a little push." Iri whispered to me.

"Or maybe buck teeth." Naruto said. I think that one got to him. "Well, I'm going home. Tell me how it turns it out." Iri said. At first, she wanted to know. Now, she doesn't want to be apart of it. I sighed and decided to tag along with Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura.

We all decided to take Kakashi out to lunch. I really thought this was stupid because I don't think he's ever going to show his face. "The four of you treating me to lunch? This is surprising? What's the occasion?" Kakashi asked.

'He's gonna find out' I thought to myself. I stared off into space until I saw Kakashi reaching for his chopsticks. He snapped them apart and went to go take off his mask until Squad 10 showed up out of nowhere.

"Hey, guys! Weird how we meet up at this place, huh?" Ino said as she grinned. "Get out of the way! I can't see!" Sakura shouted. I raised a brow as they somewhat started to fight each other. "Kakashi-sensei, can I ask you something about..." I trailed off as I saw Kakashi's face. A blush slowly crept across my face.

My sensei is so hot! I quickly shook my head, then looked at Kakashi again as he was putting his mask back on. "That was delicious." He said, smiling through his mask. "What?! That was quick!" My team said. I chuckled before left with my team.

"Well, that didn't work." Naruto sulked. "I can still see his face." I mumbled to myself. "What?! You saw his face?!" Sakura asked, getting my face. "Uh, yes." I nodded my head. "Nue-chan, you gotta tell me! What did he look like?!" Naruto asked, shaking my shoulders.

I took his hands off my shoulders, then held a finger to my lips with a wink. "Sorry, Naruto. But you guys have to figure that out on your own." I said. 'I'm so mean' I thought before walking away. I went to my house and walked inside.

"Good afternoon, Nue-sama." Maria bowed as I entered. "Hi." I said as I took off my cloak and hung it on the hook on the wall. "So, how'd it go?" Iri asked. "I never knew my sensei was so hot." I said. "You got to see his face?!" Iri asked, excitedly.

"Whose?" Maria chimed in. "Kakashi Hatake." Iri answered. "Have you seen his face, Maria?" I asked. She shook her head. "Wait a minute, Maria. You can just use your kekkei genkai to make him show you his face." Iri said.

"That's actually a good idea. Excuse me." Maria bowed before teleporting to Kakashi. "You had to give her that idea, didn't you?" I said with a deadpanned expression. "I don't see what the problem is. Besides, I wanna see, too. Oi, Maria! Wait up!" Iri called, then ran out the door, leaving it wide open. 

I closed the door, then sat down on the couch. "Hey, there, Nue. Haven't ssseen you for a while." Kiyoshi said as he slithered over to me. "Kiyoshi, we need to talk." I said. "About what?" He asked as I picked him up and set him down beside me.

"About your previous owner, Orochimaru."

"What about him?"

"Did you he was going to do this to me?" I showed him my Curse Mark. "I want the truth, Kiyoshi." I ordered. "Nue, I didn't know Orochimaru wasss going to give you the Curssse Mark. Honessst." He said.

"And you swear to me that's the truth? Look me in the eye and tell me you swear." I commanded. "I ssswear." Kiyoshi said, looking at me, seriously. I stared at him before smiling. "Okay. Thank you." I said. He smiled back.

I lied back on the couch and stared at my ceiling. "Is something wrong, Nue?" Misaki asked. I didn't reply. Misaki jumped on my lap and meowed, making me look at her.

"Lady Tsunade... She said that she and I have met in the past. Yet, I don't remember the two of us meeting. I shouldn't have freaked out when I did. I could've gone back further and learn the truth of what happened that night." I said.

"Don't stress over it, Nue. I'm sure you'll remember eventually." Misaki assured me. I started to reply until Maria and Iri appeared in the room with shocked looks on their faces. "I'm assuming you saw Kakashi's face?" I asked.

They didn't answer as they stood there with their mouths hanging open. They stood there with their mouths hanging open. "Guys?" I asked. "I didn't know Kakashi looked so hot." Iri said. "I didn't know Kakashi had a face." Maria said.

I went back to my team to see their progress. They said they tried following him, but that didn't work out as they planned. Then, they tried shadowing him, but that was a fail, too. "Don't worry, guys. You'll see it eventually." I said.

A while later, we were received a mission to help out on a farm. I left Kiyoshi and Misaki at home because I didn't feel like bringing them along this time. "Welcome! Welcome! Glad you could come!" The woman said. She gave me the creeps. But there was something about her that seemed off.

When we walked inside the building, there was already a feast waiting for us. "Take your time." The woman said and closed the door. I narrowed my eyes at her. Something's definitely wrong with her. I took my seat as I sat down next to Kakashi.

"What's the matter with you guys? No one's picking up their chopsticks." Kakashi noticed. "Oh, it's nothing. Don't wait on us, Kakashi-sensei. You go ahead and eat." Sakura said. "Actually, I'm kind of on a diet right now." Kakashi told her.

I had to hold back a laugh because I found it funny how Kakashi was trying not to take off his mask in front of them. I didn't really plan on eating. Images of the cut up wolf from my past replayed in my head, kind of making me lose my appetite.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I saw the tea pot being "accidentally" being thrown at Kakashi. But he swiftly blocked it by flipping the table over on its side. When he did that, the food spilled on the floor. "Are you out of your mind?!" Sakura shouted at him.

"Sorry about that. My hand just slipped." Kakashi said as he rubbed the back of his head. "What do you mean your hand slipped?!" Everyone yelled at him. A sweatdrop appeared on my head. Was that their best plan?

"We're never gonna see his face." Naruto complained. "Don't worry, I have a plan." Sasuke said. Sasuke planned to lure Kakashi into the hot springs because he should be able to take off his mask. I mean, why wouldn't he?

Unfortunately, Sakura couldn't see because the baths were separated. I stripped off my clothes but kept towel draped over my shoulders. Thankfully, the towel was long enough to cover my wings and tails. "Why are you wearing a towel in here?" Sakura asked me. "Because I can." I answered. "You're weird, Nue." She mentioned. "I know." I confirmed.

I shrugged and watched her tried to peek through the men's bath. She failed and decided to go back in. Something tells me Naruto and Sasuke didn't see his face like Sasuke planned. "Coming out?" Sakura asked. "In a little bit." I replied.

She shrugged and went inside. When I couldn't sense her chakra, I sighed, took off the towel, and stretched out my wings and tails. Is there really any point in hiding these from her? I mean, I pretty sure she saw them in the exams. 

I sunk into the water until it was up to my nose and breathed out a few bubbles. I sat up and began to sing the song that I learned:

Red like roses fills my dreams and brings me to the place you rest

White is cold and always yearning, burdened by the royal test

Black the beast descends from shadows

Yellow beauty burns gold

I sighed. Now that I think about it, where did I learn that song from? It's weird how it just came in my head, but who sung it to me. "Why can't I remember my past?!" I yelled out as I stood up from the water.

"Temper, temper," I looked to my side to see Kyo as he smiled at me while sitting on top of the wall where they separated the baths. "Hiya." Kyo greeted. "Hey, Kyo." I greeted back. "You know I can see you, right?" Kyo asked.

"Yeah, I know. But I don't care because I trust you." I said as I sat back down. "How can you trust me when you don't remember me? For all you know, I could've been lying when I told you I was your summoning." Kyo said, jumping down from the wall.

"Well... You have a point there, but something told me that you were telling the truth. Wait, are you testing me?" I asked.

"Yep. You're a bit naïve if you ask me. The Nue I knew would've yelled at me for seeing her naked."

"Was I really that mean?"

"Yep, and I loved it."

"Oh. Wait, how are you here when I didn't even summon you?"

"Oh, yeah. I forgot to tell you. I can pretty much appear whenever I want, whether or not you do summon me."

"Why didn't you tell me that before?"

"Because I thought you'd remember by now. But I guess I was wrong."

"I'm sorry."

"Nothing to apologize for. It's understandable, seeing how you have amnesia."

He sat down near the ledge and began to sing the song I was just singing. "You know that song?" I asked, amazed. "For a while now, yeah." Kyo answered. "What do you mean?" I asked, confused. "That song was sung from your mother. Your real mother, not Luna Satori." He said.

"My mom sung that?" I asked him. "Yep." He said.

I didn't say anything for a while. "I should probably get out now." I said. I grabbed the towel and went back inside, getting dressed in m sleepwear. Except, I didn't feel tired at all. So, to pass the time, I looked at the sky, watching the stars.

The next morning, I couldn't find Kyo. I'm guessing he left. As for Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura... Well, they looked like a wreck. "I'm guessing you guys are giving up?" I assumed. "Not yet, Nue-chan. I still have one more idea." Naruto said.

'Like what?' I thought. Naruto pulled out a ninja outfit that looked a little too big for him. What does he plan to do with that? Something tells me this will not end well. 

I helped Kakashi set up the fences. "Don't move, Kakashi Hatake!" I turned around and face palmed. They were wearing the suits Naruto had. "What are you three up to?" Kakashi asked. "Huh? What are you talking about? We're just three wandering ninja. It's not like we wanna see what's behind your mask or something." Naruto said.

Sakura shoved him to the ground. "You idiot! Don't say anymore than you have to!" Sakura told him. I sighed. I already know how this is gonna turn out. Kakashi ruffed them up a bit, then three other ninjas jumped out of the barrels.

They started talking about how they came to "destroy" Kakashi, just because a girl rejected him who-knows- how-many years ago? That's stupid. They stopped talking when they saw my team tied up and being held over Kakashi's head.

"I was wondering when you guys were going to show yourselves." Kakashi said as he set them down. "First things first, though. Sasuke, Sakura, Naruto. What are you doing?" He asked the three of them. I sighed. 'I knew it' I thought.

"Aha! We knew you were targeting Kakashi-sensei all along!" Sakura said as she pointed at the ninjas. "What?! You knew the whole time?!" The leader said. At least she has a brain. Kakashi took care of the ninjas and left them hanging in a tree.

Kakashi dusted off his hands and said, "Hey, just who are you guys anyway?" The ninjas sobbed saying, "He doesn't even remember our names!" I had to laugh because that was funny. 

We finished the job and started to walk back to the Leaf. "Naruto, instead of going through all this trouble, why don't you just ask him what's under his mask?" I suggested. "I never even thought of that. Hey, Kakashi-sensei, what are you hiding under that mask?" Naruto asked.

"What? You wanna know what's behind my mask?" Kakashi asked.

"Yeah."

"You should've just said so in the first place."

"So, does that mean you'll show us?" Sakura asked. "Sure. I don't mind." Kakashi said. Everyone huddled in front of Kakashi. He grabbed the top of his mask. "Behind this mask..." He started. They stared intensly at him as he waited to pull mask off.

"Is another mask! Pretty cool huh?" he said, once he pulled his mask down. "What?!" My teammates fell to the ground, looking a bit gray.

I laughed. That was too hilarious!
