Nue's POV

"I can't believe you passed!" I cheered. Yesterday, I felt sorry for Naruto because he didn't pass the graduation test. Now, he just got done telling me what happened the day he didn't pass. He says he graduated from Iruka-sensei from learning the Clone Jutsu from a forbidden scroll.

'I can't believe he's the Nine-tailed fox's jinjuriki. That kind of explains the whiskers' I thought happily. "I wonder if we'll be placed on the same team." I said. "Don't worry, Nue-chan! I know we will! Believe it!" Naruto said, smiling. "I still can't believe you passed." I said.

"I still can't believe you kicked Sasuke's butt the other day!" Naruto chuckled. "I can't believe you two are sssso loud!" Kiyoshi hissed with annoyance. I laughed at his hissing. "What's so funny?" Naruto asked, raising a brow. "Kiyoshi says that we're being too loud." I explained.

"You can talk to snakes?!?!"

"Not just snakes. I can talk to all kinds of animals."

"Even Akamaru?!?!"

"Mm-hmm. I just can't talk to bugs."

"That's so cool!"

I laughed and ruffled his hair. "Ne, Nue-chan. Shikamaru said you didn't want to start a fight with Sasuke in the first place. But then, your whole personality changed, What happened?" He asked. I shrugged. "I honestly don't know what happened." I answered.

I really didn't want to start something with Sasuke, but something was telling me to go ahead and fight the guy just to get it over with. What happened there? Am I going bipolar? Am I bipolar? "I'm first!"

I turned around and saw Pinky and Blondie. They were both panting and they looked out of breath. What were they doing? I turn back to face Naruto and saw he had a pink blush across his face. I giggled and ruffled his hair.

In a way, I felt bad for him because Pinky wasn't interested in him at all, and all she cared about was Sasuke. "Hey, Sakura-chan!" He said, standing up. So that's her name. "Move it!" She pushed him out of the way and stopped when she saw me before glaring at me.

I gave her a fake smile with a wink. "Hi, there, Pinky." I said. "What are you doing here? This for people who graduated." She said. "Are you blind? I did graduate." I said as I pointed to the headband around my neck. That made her glare at me even more.

"Hmph." She turned away from me and faced Sasuke who I just now realized he was sitting next to me. I kind of gulped on the inside. I honestly didn't know he was right there. Oh, damn me to hell.

Then, Blondy said that she was sitting next him. All of a sudden, the rest of Sasuke's fangirls appeared and started arguing about who was first and who was going to sit next to Sasuke. I decided to move, not wanting to be a part of this, and went to check on Naruto.

"Are you okay?" I asked, helping him to his feet. He didn't say anything. Instead, he went over to Sasuke and glared at him. "Naruto! Hey, quit glaring at Sasuke!' Sakura yelled. "Ugh! All thessse sssluts ever talk about issss SSSSasuke!" Kiyoshi hissed in annoyance.

I nodded in agreement, then sighed. "Hey, kid. Call Maria and asssk her if sssshe could ruff them up a bit." He hissed, excitedly. "I can't do that. I don't want to cause a scene. Besides, Naruto already has that covered." I said to him.

Kiyoshi was about to argue, but he stopped suddenly. He was staring at something past me. I turned my head and almost screamed. Naruto and Sasuke were... KISSING!!! Kiyoshi and I looked at each other, then burst out laughing.

"There goesss their firssst kiss! I alwaysss knew that Duckbutt wasss gay!" Kiyoshi said between laughs. I held my stomach as I continued to laugh. I was laughing so hard, I began to cry. Sasuke, Sasu-gay. It fits.

After my laughing fit, I wiped the tears away and pulled myself together. "Do you know what really happened?" I asked Kiysohi once I calmed down. "SSSSome kid accidentally bumped Naruto from behind, causssing him to bump into Duckbutt." He explained.

Duckbutt? "Is that Sasuke's new nickname for you?" I questioned. "Yesss, and it fitsss perfectly." He hissed, smiling.

"I thought you said his name was Sasu-gay?"

"That wasss your nickname for him."

"Oh."

"Hey, look."

I looked and saw Sasuke's fangirls' angry faces. I got in front of a gagging Naruto and shielded him from them. "Get out of the way!" Blondy shouted.

"No way." I said. One of the fangirls try to throw a punch at me, but I grabbed her wrist and held it there. "I won't let you hurt my friend over an accident and because of your stupid crush. But if you such as dare to try and hurt Naruto," I squeezed the girl's wrist, making her squeak in pain.

"I won't hesitate to kill you." I said, coldly. I let go of her wrist and she backed away from me in fear. I grabbed Naruto and dragged him to our seats. "Whoa, she can be really scary when she wants to be." I heard a boy say.

I blinked my eyes as I turned my head spotting a couple of boys. They flinched when they saw me look at them and saw a small, pink blush crept on their faces. I sighed and focused on what Iruka-sensei was telling us.

Or at least I tried to focus. I kept falling asleep between lessons until I was finally knocked out cold. "Nue-chan, wake up." I blinked my eyes open, then yawned. "Huh? What's happening?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.

"Iruka-sensei is about to give out the names for the three-man squads." Naruto explained. "What three-man squad?" I asked. "He was talking about it a while ago. Weren't you paying attention?" He asked.

"No, I fell asleep. Sorry." I apologized. "Don't sweat it, Nue-chan. Although, you sometimes act like Shikamaru. He falls asleep, too." Naruto said. 'Never would've guessed' I thought. "Squad 7. Naruto Uzumaki. Sakura Haruno. Sasuke Uchiha,"

Naruto seemed happy at first, but then, he sulked. Sakura was cheering and Sasuke was being.... emo? "And Nue Houjuu Satori." Iruka finished. Say what?! I banged my head on the desk.

Why, Iruka?! Why?! "Um, Iruka-sensei. I think you made a mistake. I don't think I'm supposed to be on this team. You said it was going to be a three-man squad." I said. "No, Nue. I didn't make a mistake. You're on Squad 7 for a reason. Plus, due to the uneven amount of genin here, I had to put one of you in a squad on four." He explained.

"Yeah, but why just me?" I mumbled. Why couldn't it have been someone else? "Sensei, why do I have to be in the same group as Sasuke!" Naruto complained.

"Because Sasuke had the second best score in the class. Naruto, you got the worst. To add all the teams up evenly, we put the best scores with the worst scores." Iruka-sensei explained. Makes sense, I guess..? I wonder who got the first best score.

Probably Kiba. Or maybe Shino. "So, who got the first best score?" I heard Kiba ask. "Nue got the best scores in the class." Iruka answered. I felt all the genin staring at me. I put my head down as I heard Kiyoshi laughing his tail off.

"SSSSucks to be you." He laughed. "Oh, shut up, Kiyoshi." I muttered. That made him laugh even harder. "You'll all meet your jonin teachers after lunch." Iruka-sensei announced.

When lunchtime arrived, I spotted Maria, waiting for me by a tree. "Good evening, Nue-sama." She greeted with a closed eye smile. "Hi, Maria." I replied. "Hey, babe." Kiyoshi said. Babe? Does Kiyoshi think he's with her?

"I have a few minutes until I have to get back to class. Could you help me with my taijutsu?" I asked her. "Of course!" Maria said happily. "Perfect." I said. My taijutsu could use some work. I kind of suck at it. 

According to Iri's letter, Maria is an expert at taijutsu. To put that to the test, I challenged her to a duel and... Well, to make a long story short, she kicked my butt. "I sssmell a rat." Kiyoshi hissed. "Where? I don't see any." I said, looking around.

"I wassss talking about trouble, and if you look behind you, I think you'll know what I'm talking about." He said. I did as he said and turned around. I saw Sasuke walking towards me. What's he doing here? "Can I help you with something?" I asked Sasuke.

"Yeah, I want a rematch." He stated, bluntly. "Rematch?" I repeated. Oh, he must mean the fight we had yesterday. "Yeah. You and me. This time, we use only ninjutsu to test each other's strength." Sasuke said.

He sounded determined. "Uh..." I didn't know what to say. I didn't feel like fighting right now. "I'm sorry, but I'll have to deny. I hope you understand." I said, politely as I bowed my head to him. "No, I don't understand. I want a rematch." Sasuke repeated, more demanding this time.

"I can't right now." I said, looking at him. "Jusssst leave, kid. It'ssss not like he'll ssstop you." Kiyoshi hissed. I took his advice and walked past Sasuke. Unfortunately, Sasuke wasn't going to take no for an answer. I gasped when he roughly grabbed the front of my cloak.

I didn't gasp from his determination. I gasped because I was afraid my cloak would come off and reveal my wings and tails. "Sasuke, what are you doing? Let go!" I said. "Fight me, now." Sasuke demanded. "No! Let me go!" I shouted at him.

What the hell is wrong with him? He lifted me a couple inches off the ground as he held the front of my cloak. Woah, I didn't know he was this strong! "Let go of her, basssstard!" Kiyoshi hissed before snapping his jaws at Sasuke, making him yank his hand back.

When he did, he let go of my cloak, letting me fall to my feet. I took a couple of steps back before fixing the front of my cloak. "What the hell was that for?! Are you crazy?!" I snapped at him. Sasuke frowned at me.

"Give me my rematch." He ordered. I frowned at him. This asshole....

"You just lost your chance, buddy. So, forget it." I said. I turned my attention towards Maria. "Maria, let's go. We're leaving." I said. "Hai, Nue-sama." She replied and walked towards me. I was about to turn to leave, but Sasuke grabbed my arm.

"Your hand. Remove it from my arm. Now." I ordered. I was already starting to lose patience with this guy. "I want my rematch, Nue." Sasuke said. I looked into his eyes. They held anger and they were cold. This determined bastard...

I looked at Maria, telling her I needed help. She gave me a nod, telling me she understood. In one swift movement, she grabbed the back of Sasuke's neck and lifted him in the air, causing him to let go of my arm. "I'd appreciate it if you didn't touch my Mistress." Maria said.

"Sasuke, this Maria Asanaki. Maria, this is Sasuke." I introduced. "A maid? I didn't know you had one." Sasuke said, staring at me with a frown. "There's a lot of things you don't know about me, Sasuke Uchiha, and I want to keep it that way." I said.

Frankly, there's a lot of things I don't know about myself. But I really want to know more about myself and my name; Houjuu. "Maria, you can let him go now," I said. Maria did as I said and let go of Sasuke. "Let's go. My class will start soon." I said, my voice emotionless.

"Hai," Maria quickly followed me. I felt tired now and a bit cranky. I guess this is what happens when you don't get enough sleep.

Sasuke's POV

I frowned as I watched the two of them began to walk away. Nue stopped when she was a few feet away. I raised an eyebrow, wondering why she stopped. "Sasuke," She started, her back still facing me. "I think it would be best... if you'd stay away from me for a while. For your safety." She said.

With that, Nue started to walking away again with her maid. What's that supposed to mean? Is she dangerous? What makes me even more suspicious about her is that cloak she wears. And that symbol on her back....

What does it mean? What clan is she from? She's not like the other girls at the academy. She doesn't pay any attention to me. In fact, I think she hates me. Nue was able to beat me the other day. Well, I could've beaten her if her dumb maid hadn't got in the way.

Who is Nue Houjuu Satori?

I shook my head and walked back to the academy. When I got there, I saw Nue asleep on one of the desk. I didn't see her maid around, so I'm guessing she went home. I walked over to her to get a better look at her. I stopped a few inches away from her.

She looked rather peaceful when she's sleeping. I remember she had long hair when we first met. So, why did she cut it? I snapped out of my thoughts when Nue's eyes slowly fluttered open. She yawned, then rubbed her eyes.

When her eyes landed on me, she frowned. "What do you want now? Here to force me into fighting you again?" Nue said with a frown. No doubt about it, she hates me. "Relax. I'm not here to do anything." I said.

"Hard to believe that coming from a determined Uchiha." She said, turning away from me. Her snake hissed at me. Looks like he doesn't like me either. "Easy, Kiyoshi." Nue said to it. "Hey, Sasuke!" I heard Naruto yell from behind me.

Naruto ran up to Nue and pulled her into a protective hug. "What do you think you're doing to Nue-chan! You better not be hurting her!" He yelled. My eyes went from him to Nue. She seemed a bit dazed, like she was tired, or maybe she didn't care.

"I wasn't doing anything to her." I said. I shoved my hands into my pockets and went over to an empty desk. "Are you alright, Nue-chan?" I heard Naruto ask. "Yeah, I'm fine." She answered, smiling. I narrowed my eyes at her.

She seems to like Naruto a lot. I sat down and waited for our sensei to arrive.
