[Vol. 6] Chapter 159

(Arashi's POV - Third person Limited)

Arashi had been so busy that he couldn't get enough sleep and not to mention, he couldn't even get to meet his wife, Bianka. Dark circles had taken parmanent resistance under his eyes as he looked through a bunch of papers in his chamber.

He took a few fruits that had been laying on the plate for a while. He barely managed to eat properly in these days. He knew Bianka would be mad at him if she saw him.

He was glad that Rei and the new maids were with her giving her company for the preparation of her bridal dress.

Koji came inside with a knock as he said, "Hiroshi and the others have arrived."

He looked at him thoughtfully and said, "Call him here. I need the report immediately."

Koji nodded but he looked like he wanted to say more.

Arashi asked as he noticed it in one glance, "What is it?"

Koji scratched his chin and said, "Well, it seems Hiroshi has come with a woman..."

Now it took all of Arashi's attention as he asked, "Woman?"

"Well, not one but two women."

"I see... Is it for the mission or?"

"I'm afraid not since he said he will be moving to a larger house...with them." Koji added.

Now Arashi was a bit troubled. Did he just manage to get not just one wife but two!?

That was some intense promotion...after staying bachelor for twenty nine years.

But Hiroshi should know one won't be allowed to have more than one wife soon...

Arashi gave a curt nod as Koji left shortly after that.

He muttered, "Honestly, what's with Hiroshi? Did he get himself a wife? Or, wives?"

He thought of having a conversation with him once he come to him for the report but now he needed to concentrate on his task.

He started to look into the reports what his men had been giving every hour and he found out many things. Apparently, Bianka was right. The twisted way of society made him sick. The more he looked at every details, the more he could see every word Bianka had told him that day was right.

Women were suffering and it wasn't only in the nobility or royalty but in every class, they were being measured by how much they can sacrifice or how much one can get benefitted by having them.

The old files of the library even noted down many things but apart from a few Lords, no one did anything. The women who tried to fight against it were killed or sent to the dungeon. Arashi had acquired their information and currently he was trying to contact them. He hoped to help them rise the awareness but for that he needed a large number of women and as well as the support of other Lords and ladies.

Unfortunately, not many women would want to come out of their weakened shells since they would be cast out of the society or worse, would get killed or raped. But a few were like warriors who had gathered themselves to fight this battle.

There was another knock as Arashi said, "Come inside."

It was Hiroshi and Hans. They both came back from their missions.

Arashi nodded at them as Hiroshi said, "Duke Gingiro had given his word to look into this matter and he said to support you in this honourable work." He brought out a letter with Komaki's seal as Arashi took it.

He opened it and read. Duke Gingiro had suggested many things and Arashi was pleased that he was thinking the same thing as well.

Then Arashi's eyes went to Hans. Hans knelt on one of his knees and said, "Your Highnes, we have found the following organisations for women's rights. Countess of Mihashi had helped us to reach them."

Arashi asked, "Did you contact their leaders?"

Hans nodded as he stood up and brought out a letter as he gave it to Arashi. He read it and nodded. Apparently, they wouldn't believe in Arashi as up until now, it was the nobles and royalties who had made this sickly rules for women. Especially the men. He knew it so he had prepared everything beforehand.

Shinohara Haruhito would be the perfect person for this job. She wasn't from a royalty and she had her own organisation who looked after women and children. Ginjiro had been helping her in this and they would be the face of this project Arashi had been conducting.

No one would want to follow a prince who only knew how to win a war but they would certainly follow who could take care of people. Ginjiro Shimadzu and Shinohara Haruhito were the faces to connect others in this project.

That was how Arashi planned this.

He would only appeal for their sake but everyone would know it was from Ginjiro and Shinohara.

"Good work. Now, all we have to do is just to get them here safely..." Arashi said as he needed the leaders of those groups who had been fighting for women rights.

Hiroshi nodded as Arashi dismissed Hans.

Arashi was waiting for the other answer for the confidential letter. As soon as Hans left, Hiroshi closed the door and made sure no one was in their hearing range.

Arashi asked, "So... What did he say?"

Hiroshi said, "He said no."

He let out a sigh as he knew Ginjiro would say no. Well, it would have been better if he at least tried to understand Arashi's situation. He knew Ginjiro probably thought Arashi was fighting for the throne for which he needed Ginjiro's support but that wasn't the case...

However, Hiroshi added, "But he said he will personally meet her before giving his final answers."

Arashi's eyes shot up at Hiroshi and he asked, "You said his answer is a 'no'."

"Well, as of now. But he wanted to know her opinions first. He said he doesn't want to force anyone."

Arashi nodded. That would be best since he had been thinking of how to make his sister's life better. It would be better if they met before Arashi disclosing this to public or to his sister.

"When will he be coming then?"

"In two days... He will arrive before your wedding."

Arashi's hand reached his chin as he rested his face and went inside of his own thoughts.

Matters were piling up in his head. There were just too many things he needed to do. Along with the outside threats, he needed to handle the inside threat as well.

Someone was trying to annihilate Bianka and it didn't let him sleep a wink. He couldn't understand what was the reason.

That arrow with red thread...

Was it because someone come to know of her being an enemy general's daughter? Was it because of they come to of her pregnancy?

As of now, only a few people knew about her pregnancy. Kuro soldiers wouldn't spill anything and it was hard to find anything from Shinkyo either.

Then Arashi froze... Was it because someone come to know of...?

No. Only Hiroshi and he knew of it and general Houjou Inoue, Bianka's father knew it. Arashi was sure of it and he knew general Houjou wouldn't spil a bean.

He let out a deep sigh as he leant back and Hiroshi asked, "I've been away for only three days and look what did you do to yourself... You look like you are barely hanging in a thread..."

Arashi said, "Well, there's a lot going here and grandfather emperor has summoned me but I couldn't just make the time to go." He muttered, "Now that I mentioned, I need to go meet him."

Hiroshi nodded. "Alright then and also, I need to ask you about..." He scratched the back of his neck.

Arashi said, "About a large house?"

He smiled stiffly, "Ah well..."

"I heard you got two women along with you..." Arashi's suspicious gaze fell on Hiroshi.

"Hey! Do you really think I would do something like that?!"

"You are a natural flirt. Of course, only you could do this." He said with curt voice which made Hiroshi to pout.

"That's Miku's sister. She has some incurable disease and I thought it would be best if you could look into it."

"I see. So, her name is Miku."

Hiroshi grinned but his ears were red as Arashi displayed a smile. "I had never thought you could find yourself a wife... I thought I would have to find you one."

"But we are not married yet..."

Arashi raised a concerned brow and asked, "When will you then?"

"After your marriage...I suppose. I'm not sure. I haven't asked her yet."

Arashi looked at him with wide eyes since Hiroshi was always the type to decide immediately and act upon it however he was considering his woman's opinions.

Hiroshi changed the topic. "Anyways... What's happening with Yonama? I've been hearing a great deal about it. Koji and others have given me reports about it as well. Is it true that they are trying to eliminate..."

Arashi nodded as his face became hard. Even Hiroshi's face resembled him. Trouble after trouble kept coming and they had no time to sit straight.

There was a dispute in the land of Yonama which was troubling him greatly.

Because Rei, his sister was the current princess of Yonama and Noya was the heir to the throne. Although there wasn't any other rival in Yonama, the other house in powers were trying to get it. It was a perfect opportunity for them to declare a civil war when their current ruler is dead and the heir is too young to rule.

From a bird of Arashi had acquired that they had acquainted with an assassin group to eliminate Noya and Rei.

Grandfather emperor must have envisioned this which was why he brought them here once Rei's husband died. Arashi was thankful for it since he wasn't here at that time.

But now, he would make sure his sister was in safe hands.

The only person who could save them was Duke Gingiro Shimadzu.

Ginjiro was a cunning person but for a good cause. He wasn't like a person with old views but he had farsight for future and which was why Arashi knew he was the perfect person for Rei. He was not only powerful, he knew how to rule.

And if Duke married Rei, Yonama and Komaki would be under Duke Ginjiro's rules. It might enrage the people of Yonama but Ginjiro was well versed in making a diamond by shaping a coal.

The only problem was, Arashi hadn't asked Rei yet. He knew she would refuse but it was to make both of them safe.

While Arashi was too busy with handling the matters inside and outside of Wansai, he needed someone to protect his sister and the west side of Wansai. He couldn't do it all.

If only he could rely on Daichi, he didn't had to make this decision for Rei.

He let out a sigh as Hiroshi said, "We need to make sure that Ginjiro married Rei then..."

Arashi said, "It isn't easy... Rei's heart is broken from the previous marriage. She wouldn't want to marry anyone..."

"Not even for Noya?"

Arashi looked down and said, "Maybe. But it is just...her husband, the late Marquess, Kikuwo was a great man. He was my dear friend and he dearly loved Noya and Rei. It isn't easy to forget him. She can't forget him even she wants to."

Hiroshi nodded and Arashi sighed again. It is hard to forget the people you love the most but it is harder to move on.

It took Arashi five years and Rei only lost her husband for merely a year.

A/n: Did you guys understood the previous chapters now?

Although I still hadn't revealed all of the plots... XD

Anyways, just one more chapter until vol 6 ends.

Can I ask you a favour?

I know it might sound greedy but I also need to earn some money through my writing. But don't worry I won't be putting mysterious Husband on paid contracts. Not at least, on Wattpad. And nor I will remove its chapters from Wattpad to get readers on other paid apps.

But can you please do me a little favour?

All you have to do is write an honest review on 'Webnovel' app and on 'Mobo' app, and also add the book 'mysterious husband' in your library and don't forget to click on heart button if you find one haha. But please don't tell anything about Wattpad in those apps. XD

You can download the apps from Play Store and search for mysterious Husband in those app.

I hope to have your support on those two apps. I hope you aren't offended by my request.

Anyways, see y'all!
